Trick Or Treats?

Yey! It's Monday today and no monday sickness here after all the Sunday dead set movies, the whole day was unbelievably pandemic with movies such as: Night of the Living Dead, House of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead then The Walking Dead all from AMC Channel. What else to watch other than those scary movies for the celebration of HALLOWEEN which is on Tuesday tomorrow,  people young and adults will be wearing different kind of costumes some of them will be scary, ghoulish, gibberish, clownee, hilarious and out from this world costumes. Whatever costumes they will wear be of fairy tales theme costumes, super heroes, and zombie costumes the more it would be fun for people who will open their doors for these young kids and maybe older people whoever they maybe.

Last year, we tried to escape from Halloween celebration because I was scared of "The Purge" movie which I viewed the night before Halloween. LOL. No, actually I was busy moving boxes from one house to another. Too busy, very busy!!

Well, maybe this time there's no excuse that's why we bought boxes of treats.

And there's a yummy, delicious treats for Freddie (or Freddy). I hope you like what you are having Freddie.

Are They Really Busy Or Not?

It seems to me that the local city Superstore is not that really busy because they have so much time to re-shuffle their shelves, freezers and coolers. You enter their main entrance door and suddenly at the front are products that you don't want being seen. Okay, assume that they are actually doing their renovation project. We went to the shelves where the laundry detergents are but the shelves no longer there. It was pushed back to another entry. Then the vegetable section was then replaced with the transparent glass display cooler for butter,juice, frozen pastries,  milk and other dairy products. The vegetable section is just closer by steps where the Joe Fresh clothing and accessories line department. It's kind of weird. Maybe the theme is "eat vegetables and you'll fit in perfectly to Joe Fresh petite clothing." Aha! Maybe from the Vegetarians point of view. Well, who knows. I think it's better to have food in the stomach. As you probably know that those people, the pioneers of Vancouver island eat more meat than vegetables and they aged gracefully and so many of them have reached age 90 and 100's. Sorry, I'm becoming so leafy. LOL. If you want to live longer have a healthy, balanced diet.

Oh, by the way, have noticed the big sign of the SUPERSTORE's name outside of their building. It was so catchy. I should have photograph it but dunno why I didn't. It was so bright and attractive. Looks like the logo, sign, name for the Superstore comedy series on TV. I don't know when I'll be back to take pictures because we only shop once a month for groceries or twice when we forgot something from the grocery list. Being thrifty because my husband is paid paycheque to paycheque juts like many hardworking workers at the island. We don't ask for alms. WORK matters. Hope I'm paid for my work while I blog. I'm hardworker too you know.

Hey,  FLU SHOTs are available at the Superstore Pharmacy just in case...

Of all these sarcastic tone of mine, let me tell you that I'm happy that Superstore and Walmart haven't thinking of closing down. I hope they wont back down, shut down their business just like what Zellers, Target, Bargain Shop, Sears and the many food shop at the former Ironwood Mall. I think a good rapport, great PR would help build up Superstore and Walmart to provide good quality food, products and services.

I maybe super sarcastic once in a while but you know it does help and you'll be glad I am.

Something Fresh

My family went shopping at Walmart the other day, we bought what we have to buy and forgot some other things in the grocery list. We forgot to buy cooking oil, fabric softener, dishwashing liquid for dishwasher machine and bags of chocolates and other trick and treat snacks for kids. I didn't forget my reason for going to Walmart. What I really need is to purchase thread, machine's oil and new sewing machine needles. Then I forgot the color of thread. I bought the grey, black, white and red thread (in a set of 4) but forgot to buy the fuschia and pink thread. Oh my! That's what happened when we are in a hurry. My husband doesn't like staying longer inside the department store or supermarket. He 's not into window shopping or browsing around. When he goes to supermarket he's there at the meat section. He wants to see if he can avail of discounted meat: beef for roast beef, pork loins, poultry products. The meat are fresh and not previously frozen most of the time. Why the meat are on sale? That I don't know. It happens not everyday. We didn't forget the vegetables. I wish they have the veggies that I like but you know tropical veggies don't grow here in Canada.

I missed veggies such as malunggay, eggplant, bittermelon, okra, upo, patola, banana heart, breadfruit and jackfruit the fresh ones not canned. I miss fresh tuna fish, fresh red snapper, fresh galunggong, fresh biya, fresh dilis or anchovies and alamang. The list goes on and on.

So next time, I really have to bring a piece of paper with all the listed items that I need to buy. I don't like getting out this time of the year when it's hot at one point in time and then cold the next...because the up and down range of weather temperature hot and cold  can cause headache and you know what happens next? Sometimes it's the cause of colds. There are people who are having cough and colds already and worse if they have fever. None are affected here at my home, thank God! But you know better be safe than sorry. Take care everyone.

P.S. Freddy the cat came to visit us and I don't have Whiska so that too will be on my grocery list.

Take Care Cuz Who Cares?

Hard to believe that there are humans who read my blogs. Thank you! You are reading my blogs and sometimes the stories are relatable...I think that you take it as if its your story. Such a great compliment. Once again thanks from the bottom of my heart.

It's October 25 yesterday and October 26 today. Nothing's changed except that autumn is here already and the foliage is better seen at the horizon. Falling leaves are being swept away by winds and thanks to the ground sweeper because the dry leaves wont be flushed down the drain which can cause clog. That if you let them cover the drainage it might be the cause of flood in your community.

It was warm yesterday and it's colder today. The weather temperature varies differently by the hour and by the day. Take care of yourself because some people out there have colds. For those who are sick, with fever, cough and colds should stay at home and take over the counter drugs (OTCD are known drugs or medicines without the need for doctor's Rx because the medical products are proven to be effective and safe) or prescribed medicines prescribed by doctors when you think your cough and colds is something to be worried about.

At this point in time when vaccines and immunization are needed. Every year, there's that anti-flu vaccines offered by government and its FREE. Sometimes it's not free. In year 2000, the flu shot is costly already $20/person. I don't know how much is the cost of flu-shot at present time.Who should take the immunization first? The medical practitioners, hospital workers, the seniors in your community and whoever would like the anti-flu shot. Anyway, it's your call.

AUTISM

We waited and waited until the The Gifted TV series is over and it's time to watch THE GOOD DOCTOR. It's good to watch brand new TV Series with new episodes, not reruns.

The episode last night has something to do with a boy who is a spitting-image of Dr. Murphy's brother. How could that happened? Dr. Murphy thought the boy (patient diagnosed with cancer) was his young brother and even Dr. Murphy's mentor Dr. Glassman (the Hospital President) thought he was the brother of Shaun. How old was the boy? Why Dr. Murphy has changed so much, grew up faster than the boy who didn't even changed much in age. Was the boy had been in years of coma and didn't die? Something weird in this episode. Dr. Murphy tried to help the boy at least giving him the chance to live even on false hope. That maybe the first and second opinion of doctors are wrong. Who knows? Doctors are not God and therefore there's a chance that somehow the diagnosis is wrong and the x-ray result is somewhat wrong if not switched with another patient's x-ray result. Whatever, taking matters into Dr. Murphy's hand he wants to do some testing and he was caught by the parents of the cancer-stricken boy. The chance is .3 percent chance that he might live and the "cancer is curable." Then the boy coughed out blood and right away, immediate operation was done by the chief surgeon once again and Dr. Murphy was out again away from the operating room. The boy was able to survive the operation and was seen talking to his parents. Dr. Murphy read the book "How To Kill The Mockingbird" reading the page where the bookmark is placed and after the reading he left the boy on his bed. It's one of the episodes  that can make you cry. And Dr. Murphy, the autistic can cry you know. It calls for the story.

Is there an episode that we missed in THE GOOD DOCTOR? I am wondering most of the time whether Dr. Murphy is having a dream sequences because of the many flashbacks and forth about he and his brother inside the bus. Why they stayed in the bus? Are they orphans or they escaped from their adoptive parents? I can only unravel the complicated stories per episode. It's a strange, delicate, complicated story. You might end up twisted in a twisted complicated story of an autistic doctor. He is probably not autistic but a genius but people around him do not have confidence on somebody that is diagnosed as autistic. AUTISM is a debilitating ailment that take the confidence out from human beings who are diagnosed and one false move of misdiagnosis can lead a devastating effect on such individuals for the rest of their lives. Their identity, credibility and everything about that person is stolen. It's bad! Without the Hospital President's intervention what will happen to a genius doctor like Dr. Shaun Murphy? There are too many children and adults who are autistics. It's great for those autistics born with silver spoon in their mouth they can get the help they need. Look at Albert Einstein, he was autistic. Bill Gates is autistic and so many software engineers and astronauts, so many of them are autistics. But because some of them are helped and some of them are born with rich, wealthy parents their disability doesn't count. Only the poor autistics are the ones that are living day to day not knowing their lives are not much of importance to many and became the experimental subject of many disputes. It's always a struggle. Always a struggle because there are humans who thought they are God's gift to mankind.

Disgusting Or Not, FO!

Yesterday my husband came home with an old vacuum. The old apartment had it for years I think by the way I looked at its appearance the vacuum is probably more than 25 to 26 years old. Husband tried to fix it and told him why not buy a new one. Well, he's not supposed to use his own money to pay for such appliance/tool for work. That's what it is with my husband, he worked so hard in those apartments and when the tools are worn out he will buy a new tool or appliance using his money and have it reimbursed later. Every time have to warn him never use his own personal money and let his family suffer with the consequences. The employer should provide for the tools.

Lately we are suffering on our family household budget. Fishing and boating is for the rich. We are not wealthy! Are you wealthy?  Every time he goes fishing that's $230-$250 expenses out. If he doesn't catch any fish then he wasted $250 worth of budget for the household expense. In his 3x out fishing and boating he didn't catch any fish but he came home with dungeness crabs. There are frozen food inside the freezer, we wont go hungry. But we have bills to pay such as electricity(hydro), internet, phone, TV connection. Medical expenses or Health Care. Paid. We paid it all the time. Clothing? We have enough casual clothes that we can wear. We don't have much of party dress because parties in this part of the world is once a year or twice a year such as Christmas party and Valentine's party. There are birthday parties we attended but no need to wear luxurious dress as if Hollywood parties. We have ordinary lives here at the island nobody wears party gowns only those who are to attend High School Graduation and Prom Night. Oh, I wear beautiful gowns inside my closet then I put them back hang them thinking it's just for photography. You know how much is a beautiful gown? $100 if you will order from Causeway Bay, HK. lol

The Island is not a Hollywood venue. The island is like a Dr. Who island. Ha ha ha! Just kidding. The island is not Shutter island and it's not the island for the next lottery winner for organ transplant. Tell me, why too many inhabitants here who had problem with gallstones? Why?   The island is like a Hawaiian island at summer time and at Winter time the island feels like Siberia. LOL. No, not that. Hm, I feel like frightening some people  by its description.

It's getting chilly now eh? Alberta had its first snowfall sometime in September, earlier than any province in Canada. OMG! Snow, snow... hope that snowfall will be for next year not this month and not next month. Cold weather without snow is much appreciated. Okay Snow? Then the guys with business plowing snow prayed for more snow. You know, some people have opposing prayers that contradict everything and it's for God to whoever He will answer first.

Then heard Neegan yapping out loud Rick that his dick is bigger than him and everybody knows that. Humor! That's what Neegan is capable of.  He played a different kind of humor in the most unexpected way. But his lucille bat is his weapon of destruction. Crazy!You thought that's disgusting? It is. If he is acting like a weirdo he is probably related to the family of Jesse who were consumed by zombies. Rick and his family should move out from Alexandria.

NOTE: Maybe in Negan's thought the dick is DICK's FISH & CHIPS.

Movie Industry

I really enjoyed watching the old movie SPY (starring Melissa McCarthy also better known as Molly in the sitcom/comedy "Mike & Molly"). I think my daughter and husband liked it so much because they laughed so hard and so louder than my loud laugh ass out. Duh, kidding. It's really funny but that doesn't mean it goes to ny.

She's that good in "timing" and her facial reaction plus her body coincides with her acting. Right TIMING got to do with everything in comedy.

She's that great also in her portrayal as WH's Sean Spicer in SLN Show. I wish to see the other movie TAMMY next.

Oh well, that's life here in Canada. We enjoyed watching TV and movies. Why not? Who else would be patronizing the movie industry than we all are. There are many people involved in the movie production. This business is the light of the economy. Its human resources is vast, wide, huge and it can employ the whole country (if its a war movie or natural disaster). The human resources involvement in producing movies enclosed the military, law enforces, local communities. A huge production has a budget of at least $100 Million dollars. Unbelievable but it's true. Is there a profit? Most of the time there's a profit. I think. Otherwise, no good quality production will ever live to its potential of bringing a life-image story of true humanity that lives and breathe.

So don't judge me like a fool when I always praise the movies, actors and actresses and the movie industry.

Canada is the country that is fortunately been chosen as the lucky location for any type of Hollywood  movies, films and experimental documentations. So what else can you expect if Canada is naturally beautiful, the chosen field for cinematography? At least trade is being imposed as means of  economic measures not just  politically.

The Wrong Thing About Some People Is They Can't Understand Other people

Whether the news or information is fact or fiction, does it matter? I matters to those who are involved!

Reactions, counter-reactions. People or humans especially humans have conscience they know how to react to stimulus. Humans with true emotions, with real genuine heart and mind will react emotionally and will do anything to justify their cause.

A good human being, a good person will not deceive another person. What for? Are you a bad person? Why always the need to deceive or hurt another human being? What is wrong with some people out there?

What is your problem? Are you sick? Are you so sick and all what you are doing is to hurt the feelings of another human being?

Really, what is really wrong with you?

You have people who wants to work and they worked so hard and then you wont pay them or give them the benefits they deserve?

What is WRONG with your employers?

Fact Or Fiction

I was thinking of the many products for sale at SEARS. The furniture, the appliances and shoes, bags and designer clothes... the furniture. We need a new couch or sofa set. The sofa set that we have at present time was old but not worn out. My husband bought the set in 2005, so that's 12 years old. But then husband said we wont buy any furniture, knowing somebody's not paying yet. One thing that's good about my husband is his skills with MATH, with numbers. He can calculate without the need of calculators. He's good in shopping, he can do the mind computation even before the cashier finish scanning products at the till. So when somebody's not paying his wage correctly he's pissed off. I am pissed off too because when somebody's not paying then the hell with all of you! Everyone looks like demons and walking dead.

Okay, told him that we don't need furniture because our living room is small, our two recliners are big and almost occupied the living room and the loveseat cramped in the corner. I can't bring the two bookcases and still placed at the garage. The house is really small. I know that the plan is downsizing after leaving the house in Vernon. Okay, never mind about new sofa. We seldom have visitors and I don't really sit on those sofa and love seat. I don't stay most of the time in the living room. Because when I'm downstairs my focus is always at the kitchen. After I cooked our meals and cleaned the kitchen I'm upstairs. That's the regular routine work. Kitchen, laundry room, living room when it's time to clean the rooms. I get to sit down by the table because you know you have to eat and must have to use the table and chairs.

We wont buy any new furniture because the cost of his brand new pair of eyeglasses is ... hold your breath it's costly worth $822.11 The government or private companies do not offer free coverage of  medical/eye insurance. You have to pay for your own medical now. Oh, I think there are certain companies (few) of them who offer free medical/dental health benefit but nothing for EENT. I think they offered FREE HEALTH CARE to refugees provided they give their vital organs such as liver, kidney and heart for organ transplant. OMG! Is that true?

having your eyes focused most of the time in front of the flashlight, I mean in front of your computer. Told you before, when there's blackout, you can use your computer screen as your lampshade. Your laptop as lampshade lamplight and your cellphone as flashlight? Why not?

Are You Happy Today?

Tell me what pisses you off? I know what pissed me off and sometimes have to count 1, 2, 3, 4 up to I cannot control myself and curse. You know I'm human. Are you a human being capable of being angry?

Life is not a bed of roses. Everyone knows that and if you are living on paycheque to paycheque then you are always working so hard and make sure that employers should pay you in the most proper way at least pay what they owed for the duration of the time, effort, hardwork put into those laborious jobs. Everyone deserves to be paid for hourly wage, on the 15th and 30th and any late payment of wage is bad if not cruel.

I don't know why that late payment all the time. What's wrong? This is addressed for employers who are late in paying wages and salary to their employees. Employees need to pay their bills too as much as you want to pay your bills. Know your duties as employers because you know when someday you'll regret having a business where employees are the ones you should care and support in the place of work. Your company wont exist without workers. Don't wait for workers to go on strike and file lawsuits.

Today is the start of the liquidation procedure for SEARS Company. Are you to go shopping for the last time at SEARS?

The nearest SEARS location is in Nanaimo. That's 2 hours driving by car or any vehicles from our location, probably 1 & 1/2 hour using the express lane. It's only 50% off for any merchandise inside the store. You know how pricey Sears products are so 50% off is really nothing to be happy about. But you know, I think there are people who love Sears products no matter what... Sears have to pay their obligations and burgeoning bills too.

Free Treats For Good Cats

It was full, then after feeding so many "stray cats" no more whiskas. Cats love Temptations. At first it's only Freddie scratching our door when he's bored being alone at the neighbor's house. Was he really alone or just bored? This morning while I was dishwashing at the kitchen, saw Freddie at the backyard chasing two chickadees, those small birds hanging around the backyard up flying to the alder trees to the oak trees. I couldn't help but laughed so hard and told my husband what Freddie is doing. Husband opened the back door and let Freddie inside our home and fed him with bits and pieces of chicken flavored cat's food. He likes it so we might buy another container full of this "Temptations, the brand that feeds smart cats."

I wish Freddie is an all white haired cat or a Shitzu white fur puppy so that me and my daughter will keep him. Can I dye his hair white?

Or how about this orange colored cat? Pretty eh? It's our neighbor's cat. I think Freddie told her that we give free whiskas.

Then another cat is coming right at the front porch. Right, front porch approach while Freddie was at the backdoor chasing something else. Gone are the dragonflies...birds are next. Freddie , Whiskas are chicken flavored!!!!!!!

Hypocrite

I don't know if this happened to you...you were invited into a birthday celebration and suddenly someone told you about "death" in another family. That feels awful especially because that suddenly triggers some kind of sadness especially if you know who died and feel sorry to the other family. We only get together once a year and if happened that some stories, news, events get accumulated and talked about in one sitting I don't think there's no such thing whether it's appropriate to open up such stories. Every event, occasion is necessary to open up things especially when you are there already in a place where people are grouped together instead of leaving of an important  story for next day.

Then there's one invited guest who is older from among the group and blurted, "is that a good time to ask that?" (  I greeted the birthday celebrant, we all sang happy birthday song when the candle was blown, we cheered happy birthday greetings again. The birthday celebrant is my sister's husband so he is part of my family) What I asked? I asked them if they will attend the Filipino party and I'm not done with my next line and that old man blurted, "is that a good time to ask that?" Darn, he must be very old! Now I know why some people doesn't like that old Filipino guy. Is he a Filipino???? Maybe not!! I'm not even asking him. I don't care if that old man attends the party or not! The question is not for him.

It's not a good idea? Please stop the "formality" because you are not in the palace! You are not a royal family where certain formalities and ties are strictly observed. That's all I can say. Is that old, old man a royalty?

I would like to hear something like that of a comment when maybe if I'm in that old man's house but he is just an invited guest. Was he really a guest? Or is he a door crasher? Oh, maybe he is drunk. That maybe is the reason why he is acting bad. I could only think that "he is not a Filipino anymore."
Oh well some Filipinos when they stepped on another country and became Canadians or Americans they felt like they are noveu riche. Paburgis! Right! What a hypocrite!

Bloggers Vs Journalists

There's nothing wrong with blogs and nothing wrong with blogging. Bloggers are mostly smart, intelligent human beings whose got superbly talented hobbies of doing their way of using their time wisely by exposing their talents on writing, photography, drawing, planning and other hidden skills they have  they have to blog entirely on their own time and using their own resources to make things happen according to their own vision and mind thinking. Most bloggers write about themselves and everything that happened to them on daily basis.

Bloggers and journalists have different set of rules. I told you already what bloggers or blogwriters are capable of while the journalists have their own contract to whatever companies they are affiliated to. I had written about the difference of those two subjects before in my other blogs. Journalism is stricter in the sense that their work is more complicated and they have their own editor and copywriter to set things right for them. They checked on spelling, grammar, and other mistakes must be omitted. Journalists for newspapers and magazines especially journalists for news are more complicated and double stricter to the most that they are certain lines that they should not cross. Confidential records must remain confidential and they should not shoot their messengers. They can't write anything that will jeopardize their own company following lawsuits. Journalists are always working about getting the news from other source of information. Journalists are not the main source of information, they are to seek the news and sources of information to find, discover, investigate and write the findings. They are "investigators" but not instigators. They should not force or coerce anybody by force or using brutal force to get information from somebody else because that's the duty of law enforcers or let say the FBI or CIA. Actually you can't use brutal force to get information from somebody without warrant that's why lawyers are allowed to be contacted by the person of interest.

Journalists have taken an oath too to fulfill their job as pleasing to be respected and to be believed. Bloggers are just the law abiding human beings happy to blog about their way of life, anything that is interesting, what interest them at any given time without pressure.

Bloggers are writers in a way that is absolutely fulfilling not complicated. No pressure  on our side. Maybe if we are paid to do the blogging and we have to catch up the deadline and we are pressurized to write something that we don't like or subject that doesn't appeal to us or that can make us dumb...then that's the stress and pressure being applied.

Superman and Supergirl as journalists? They had chosen an occupation that led them to be there first at the spot of conflict. Nice! Amazing!!

Over & Over Again

 Our Thanksgiving Dinner Turkey on the photo above. I think it's just normal to have roast turkey on every Canadian table for dinner on Thanksgiving day celebration.

Why not? Turkey symbolizes of a good harvest and goodwill hunting and key to symbolize that everything's alright and everyone must offer sense of gratitude. I don't like being redundant greeting everyone a happy thanksgiving day just like greeting everyone "merry christmas."

And this is the photo of what's left after dinner. What to do with the left-over? We can't waste these food because they are still okay, so we keep them in the fridge for the next day and that day is today... so we'll have them for dinner and supper.

The half bodied turkey, have those bits and pieces for turkey stew or turkey sandwich. The crabs I can cook them with coconut milk or cook them with garlic bean sauce. We have people in our home so nothing can be wasted.

So we had a happy one and comes next in the big wide Canada is the celebration of Halloween. I couldn't believe that there are houses around the area where houseowners decorated their yard with Halloween decors even before Thanksgiving Day. You know with kids, parents feel obligated to keep their children happy. There are yards decorated with tombstones like as if their yard is a cemetery. They have scattered fake yellow-orange leaves and lots of fake cobwebs. Some houses are decorated with skeletons and other ghoulish creepy symbols of what Halloween is all about. I haven't seen zombie creatures yet.

Anyway, have a safe happy advance Halloween. Hope everyone had a good time.

Scientific codes are complicated. I am not perfect but  I like perfections. How to make things perfect?

The Olympic athletes are perfectionists. They practiced, practice, and practice all the time in one chosen field of sport for the rest of their lives. Just ONE.

The scientists, doctors, astronauts practice their skills hundreds to thousand times before they perfect their skills.

I remember when I was young and was asked what I want to be when I grow up, what kind of occupation I want to have. Medical practitioner or being a doctor is not one of my chosen field of work. Why? I heard that to become a doctor you must be a biologist first, or you must have a 4 year course in the Science Institute. Chosen diploma course in: Biology, Medical technology, Zoology, Veterinary Medicine, Chemistry). The 4 year course is good enough? Not really. You have to study again for another 4 years to master Medicine and continued studying and learning and apprenticeship. You must have a P50,000-P100,000 (< in the 70's) (in today's time you must have P1 million pesos) worth of money in your bank account for the long duration of studying in University aside from the tuition fees paid for the course. Then you must have a  frog or toads in jars submerged in formalin that you will dissect first. Then next is a cat and a dog. Yuck! Before you can graduate you must be able to perform an "anatomy operation with a human cadaver." Each medical student must buy their own cadaver to study. You will have to stay in the morgue or watch an actual live operation at the hospitals. Then you have to perform so many "live operations" and it will take a lot of bodies to practice your skills of surgery. That's how scary. Have you seen the movie DISTURBIA? The surgeon had so many cadavers underground in performing his skills? Or it could be that the doctor's house was built in an old cemetery and was developed into sub-urban community? Only the scriptwriter knows.

In Dentistry? The would be dentists practiced on so many patients before they can become a dentist. Practice makes perfect. You're right! It's a non-stop educating doctors, opthalmologists, optometrist, musicians, pianists, surgeons, scientists and astronauts because they should aim for perfection and their skills must represent the latest of the technology that is applicable in today's standard of modern medicine and modern space technology. Teachers have to practice and train themselves too to better equip themselves with today's geniuses out there. They too must compete.

So what's with ROVER? ROVER is the modern robot that was sent to another planet and used by NASA scientists to collect samples of any object or organisms within the surface of the planet where it is. In the movie THE MARTIAN, the ROVER robotic machine was buried deep under the sand dune of Mars. It was there before the Earth's astronaut arrived. The samples sent by Rover from Mars to Earth made it possible for the exploration of Mars by these group of astronauts. So why the movie is entitled THE MARTIAN? Who is the Martian? Mark Watney the astronaut is a Martian or the ROVER? It could be  Watney for staying that long duration of more than 365 days on planet mars which is unbelievable. Or is there a sequel? I know you were thinking about the cartoon character in the Martian. OMG! Am I being redundant?

In Whatever Planet You Are In

 You know the best part of the movie THE MARTIAN is the scene where the astronaut played by Matt Damon, was the recovery of the Rover. It is through the Rover that the lone astronaut was able to send messages and TV-like images of the environment, the surface of Mars back to NASA stationed on Earth.

Remember when the astronauts who landed on the surface of the moon before the 70's had their "giant first step" message and blurry black/white images of the moon and their bootprints on the moon were recorded and sent back to Earth. This time on this remarkable movie the messages and images are sent through Rover from Mars to Earth.

Space what an incredible way to deal with life on another planet.

For somebody to feel like hopeless, sad, and without budget providing livelihood in another part of the planet Earth seems absurd.

The Planet Earth is so big, so huge, it's just that we need reliable vehicles to circumnavigate our own planet. Why look for another life in another planet? Who you are looking for in Mars, Jupiter and Saturn?

WE are probably in Planet Jupiter and the rest of the Planets are within Jupiter.

Conversation With God Offers No Fee

Let say you are a man of God and you want to save the world. In REALITY, in today's world it's not only religion that can save the world and its people. To do the work needs a vast amount of resources in the form of finance (money), tons of food mostly non-perishable food + fresh produce, water system (reliable, safe drinking water) basic necessities, clothing housing, medical supplies,  transportation, and everyone should have work to better keep everyone busy and when these people are busy working they don't think about war or inflicting injury with another beings. Why? Because being idle can cause so much trouble.

With missionaries going to another country with just a Bible and then seek the help of the community for their own food and clothing is a failure. Missionaries asking for help so that they can preach the gospel of God is a form of scam.  If these missionaries can't help themselves they wont be able to help the rest of the world. Unless of course if they practice miraculous powers such as those of Jesus Christ and His apostles. Provide miracle. Provide means of vast resources to help not it's you they are helping. However, when multitudes of people in millions came to join the group, food was rationed and after that what happened?Wait for another ration? What if there's nothing to wait. There's no more source of food, no source of supply?

 How small is the holy wafer that you receive at the Church? Is that enough to keep you alive and survive? I am not against of the doctrines of the Catholic Church. You know most of the Catholic priests are knowledgeable and they are intelligent human beings. What they are showing you of the tiny holy wafer that you receive is a matter of psychological understanding of the true sense of what your mind can able to think and understand. That religion and religious upbringing is okay, nothing that can lead you to God but suffering and death, maybe a way to control the society of impending wrath. It's meant to control bad attitude and behaviour for the time being.  Admit it consider that religion is not lame and not blind it is your faith that you must consult and your mind thinking that should evolve. Catholic priests are educated human beings they know what psychology and philosophy, they studied so much of those subjects before in University, in seminary before they became a truly fulfilled men of God. It's not all tricks and treats out there, as a smart religious followers of Christ you must also think for yourselves. Remember God help those who helped themselves. Confused? God has given you your own mind already so you should know what you are doing. The priests, missionaries, layman and pastors they are there to help and guide you. They are teachers teaching you of what you cannot understand about your faith and religion. Religion is also your freedom of expression, to socialize with fellow religious beings, and the Church is your place of worship thus only if you believe that the Church is the safest place second to your home, it's a place of gatherings, where you can offer (sacrifices in the olden days) your wholeheartedly offerings in the form of gifts, money or flowers, whatever is harvested at your own garden, ranch or farms that's the gift you are to offer. Anyway, it may sound cliche that the ancient past of thanksgiving is almost the same in present generation. The only thing that we can thank God for having the community priest or pastor is that you don't have to pay them for consultation. Remember when you talk or have private conversation with psychiatrist or psychologist for your own peace of mind, per hour probably is worth $50-$70. So, talking to God in the form of prayers and asking advice from men of God (Pope, Bishop, Pastor, layman, seminarians) is sort of a miraculous healing and it's a miracle that there's no need for you to pay $70.
