Hypocrisy

 The pandemic has created too many hypocrites the world has ever known. Racism also heightened due to this diabolical pandemic. Cleanliness and orderliness became the most important subject in schools at home and at the workplace of course. 

There's nothing wrong with cleanliness and orderliness, actually that helps humanity to be at peace with the environment, the surroundings are well taken care of. Better health is good for humanity. It also made the health care workers popular and in demand.

What is wrong is when it becomes "compulsive." When you are worried that the contagious coronavirus and Covid-19 will take your life as it means the death of humanity if it becomes out of control. The bronchial pneumonia is no longer a common illness but it is the worst of all because you wont be able to breathe freely or just that you will need  ventilator to breathe. Why not measure the oxygen and carbon dioxide in the air. Is the planet earth has less oxygen now? So SWEET!

To think that the COVID-19 that everybody are afraid of has something to do with EBOLA & AIDS?

EBOLA & AIDS are the worst kind of EVIL. Worst than pneumonia. Worst than TB& Hepatitis and worst than any type of illness or disease out there. Ebola and AIDS once it gets to the population of any city or province will eventually lead to the dropping of  A-BOMB. A total wipe-out!

With pneumonia or bronchitis? How many times its been eradicated? Those who had bouts with pneumonia had been cured and treated accordingly with the right medicines. How about FLU? There are too many flu vaccines and anti-flu medicines. Is there a cure for EBOLA and AIDS? So far the cure for such dreaded disease? NONE! There's really no vaccine for such EBOLA & AIDS. Just like the COVID-19 without no known correct vaccines yet. There are vaccines on clinical trials! 

We are to become morally hypocrites, is that good? And because the global pandemic has a way of distancing ourselves with everyone. Worried about almost anything and becoming hypochondriac.Those who would like to conquer the world even with this raging bull pandemic then do it. Just do it! LIVE & LET DIE. BE STRONG! LOVE CONQUERS ALL.

Ha ha! You think they are all about SONGS.

It's Okay To Say No

 I love working through the internet, blogging at BLOGGER at the convenience of my HOME, just being me without anybody trying to boss me around. I don't like bossy people. I have a mind of my own. That's why I feel comfortable with working at BLOGGER where the authors are of course yourself (MYSELF), the blogwriter, the one who writes. I am the author of my blogs. 

At BLOGGER the author owns the BLOG. This is in the form of DIARY. 

It is not a diary of somebody else.

Nobody has to dictate me of what should I write because my ideas are of my own. I owned it.

 I owned every word I typed or written here.

Nobody has to tell me what to wear or where I am writing or should be in the place where the readers are supposed to tell me where I should be and what should I be wearing. Facts of life, I am usually covered with clothes. I love clothes! In whatever season, in whatever temperature I am fully clothed. I am not a beggar begging for clothes or food. I eat 3 meals a day, with delicious snacks and plenty of beverages to choose from such as coffee, pop (Coke, Sprite, Brisk, Rootbeer by A&W). 

Now what? It's okay to say NO. Say no if you don't like something. You don't have to be a pushover.

SAY NO if you think somebody else is running your life and they are the only one benefited by it.

SAY NO if you are against certain policies or you are being used as puppet.

SAY NO if they are using you against your will.

Stranger Than Fiction

 After 11 days of cloud-covered sky, yesterday September 24, 2020 finally the mighty sun rises and its splendour of power magnified the whole earth. 

I was able to dry the 3 large sized sunflower floret discs for seeds and had the seeds placed in 4 brown envelopes for storage.

Next, have to cut the rest of the sunflower trunks and tubular stems as in one by one with big pair of metal shears. The first cutting of such stems had about 6 bags full, would you believe? 

Anyway, it's so wonderful day today because it is TGIF. It should be all good news, perhaps but sometimes awful news get in the way on television news network.

This morning, it was the news of  the most popular American jurist, One of the Supreme Court Judge RUTH BADER GINSBURG, the feminist, humanitarian advocate, known for her vocal justice on equal rights for men and women in the workforce, as she lies in state in Washington, DC, given the honorary respect, put to rest, in her casket covered with American flag. Because of the pandemic, only few dignitaries came to bid farewell and offered their service. I don't know much about her but when I saw her "younger self" from Google images, suddenly I had goosebumps.  OMG! May she found peace in another life. She suffered so much, God bless you Mrs. Justice of Peace & Liberty!

There are so many new series on TV next month, but surely my sister and I will be very happy for the return of THE WALKING DEAD. The return of THE GOOD DOCTOR. Maybe the THE WORLD BEYOND will start soon. 

But of course I'm still watching the HWARANG (Episode) every night. The princess's entourage consist of the five hwarang, the female doctor Ahro, the lady-in-waiting and two soldiers left Silla Kingdom to meet the prince of Beiksa. However, on their way to Beiksa, while stationed for the night in a small village they were about to be attacked by farmers who became thieves because of poverty and hunger they also took the princess carriage including its personal effects and gifts for the prince of Bieksa. Ji Dwi asked the hwarang not to kill those farmers. They went to Bieksa at the time when the prince was having a lavish meal of large pieces of lamb. They waited for him to finish his meal, until all the lamb chops turned into bones, instead until the princess got impatient and asked him to talk in private, leaving behind the hwarang. The princess offered no other gift  except the small golden buddha from the princess. However, the prince was sort of cunning that he would rather have the princess as bride in order not for him to attack and conquer the Kingdom of Silla. 

Ahro was taken in custody by the Bieksa's soldiers and was put  behind bars together with the poor farmers. While in prison, she asked if she can cure some of the wounded prisoners. The lady-in-waiting called the hwarang to help Ahro, however, they are of no match to the numerous numbers of soldiers with their weapons and because Ji Dwi asked them not to use their swords in fighting because it will trigger war so the end result is having the hwarang taken in prison and helpless. The princess was fuming mad of what happened. Who wont be? One of the hwarang was able to pass the message to the prince of Bieksa which the prince opened after he was given a small trunk of gold jars. The message is somewhat a trick to discover who the hidden King of Silla. Trickster! 

To be continued. Who will come up to save Ahro? King Jinhue (Ji Dwi) or Dogbird? So, tonight we have to watch it. 

I know. Korean drama theme had the same kind of plot of  " leading man saving the love of their life. "

Or switching babies of royal families to a poverty-stricken families then the guessing game happened adding conflict and crying games.

Hello Autumn. Goodbye Summer!

 Truth of the matter being at the mercy of the computer, right at the front of the screen of the computer laptop is more than a peril. If you already have dark skin or brown skin, good for you. If you have lighter colored cheeks then good for you, you will have suntanned skin. No need to have suntan at the salon nor dry yourself like a fish at  the beach.

Yesterday, was the AUTUMN EQUINOX (Equal length of day & night), the beginning of Fall, the season of falling leaves, cooler temperature, windy and the air smells fresh. Crispy! Crispy leaves from branches of maple trees and oak. I love Autumn because it is the best season of awesome picturesque view of colorful foliage. It offers glimpse of fantasy. It's like being in another set of a new brave, bold world and it is magical. The splendor at which magnify the whole entire scenery, feeling lost beyond words as magnetism of its surrounding enticed your innermost senses. 

I'm so glad that summer is over! 

The Speed Of Light > RADIATION = CANCER!

 My COMPUTER IS REALLY,  REALLY FAST.

However, the robots are asking me to update and upgrade. WHAT? That's totally ridiculous. 

Where you want me to go? URANUS? What an ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday, the hacker tried to open our account. What the hell!? You want HELL at your doorstep?

You don't really need to update nor upgrade when computer is already faster than a speeding bullet.

Let me tell you about those who tried to...

They all suffered stroke & heart attack. Some are already DEAD!

Some of those people are politicians who expected that FAST IS SUPER FAST!

Nobody is SUPERMAN here. That's by-product of fiction.

You only get CANCER by having the speed of light for computers, tablets and cellphones. The fundraising charity people would be happy, they are the happiest of all when they can receive donations in your behalf. Avoid people who wished you are suffering from cancer because they are not really humans. They are opportunists!

How fast you want to dodge the radiation, the silent killer.

Can you not feel the RADIATION by using computers, cellphones & tablets? NO? Balat kabayo ka ba?

Of course you can feel it especially when you are playing video games. It's like a sharp arrow hitting your chest. Radiation is an invisible bullet!

Even TV has radiation. Touch the screen of your TV. Can you feel something on the surface of your palm? NO? OMG. You are not human.

I know, who are we humans to defy gravity?

Who are we to stop cancer because it is the most popular and trending ailment all over the world.

We are using modern technology that emits radiation and radon is all over us because of modern appliances. 

Who are we to stop sunshine and the sun's mighty heat that gives ultraviolet rays?

Why Some People Are Reluctant To Wear FACE MASKS?

 Although it's mandatory to wear face masks or facemasks in other countries during this global diabolical pandemic, still is > the rest of the population are reluctant to wear facemasks 

it's because of the following reasons:

HIDEOUS. Disguised. Hideyoshi. Ninja. Are you a ninja? Are you a mafia? Are you robbers or kidnappers?

Facemasks for Halloween?

Not too many people are comfortable wearing face masks because it becomes difficult to breathe. Instead of breathing naturally the breathing becomes re-enforced. It is hideous for normal, healthy individuals.

Why it's convenient for some of those people to wear face masks, it's because part of their customs or customary for them to wear facemasks as "coverings" or for religious purposes such as those Arabs and Africans living in the desert lands, they have to protect themselves from dust storms.

People who live in over populated countries (billions in population) protect themselves by wearing face masks and simply because of  environmental hazards (pollution). When it's dusty and the stinky, foul odors can suffocate their breathing then time to wear face masks.

Wearing the medical face masks are most likely to be the trendsetter because it has better appeal or because it represents an OPERATION. Like a surgeon!

Fresh Tomatoes

 Do you like tomatoes? You should because it's the source of Vitamin C. 

Tomatoes are similar to fruits rather than a vegetable simply because of is nutrients.  However, when you cook tomatoes for a certain viand then catapulted this fruit into veggies.

Macaroni pasta with ground beef (spaghetti style) in tomato sauce + garlic bread + tomato stuffed with ground beef, parmesan cheese and havarti cheese and spices.

Waking up at 9 am, quite late though but because it looks terrible outside. The sun didn't shine today, rather the sun was covered by hazy film of clouds and smoke. Looks foggy. It feels like the movie "Sleepy Hollow." You wonder what is going on? WILDFIRE SMOKES FROM OREGON HAS REACHED US HERE IN VANCOUVER ISLAND.

I have to check the news on our TV.

Yup, Canada is also affected by the wildfires in the US. Sad to say. The wind blows of course.

Now what? The poor air quality might affect your breathing so be very careful. When you get out please wear your facemasks. If you have allergy, asthma and respiratory illness please STAY AT HOME. Do not open your doors and windows at home unless if necessary.

I chatted with my friend in Oregon through Facebook if they are ok. She said her family is doing ok. So no worries.

Stay calm. Stay safe. Stay healthy. BE KIND!

Blood Clot

 I'm glad that some people are very honest about posting their day to day "happenings" in their blogs. Not that everyone would be happy about because some of them are upront about almost anything with nothing to hide anymore. No more mystery, no suspense. It is everything under the sun.

However, I applaud for their courage and honesty, their truth in their daily encounter with natural forces that bother them from time to time. We can learn from them. Honestly. You can gain insights, you can learn from their experience and that's added bonus. Thank you!

Recently, I must admit getting first hand knowledge on people with certain disabilities and certain weird malfunction of their brains (not a laughing matter), not that they had chosen, not really their choice. It is not hereditary, could be side effects.

How many times you heard of some human beings complaining about side effects caused by the prescription drugs prescribed by their doctors? There are minimal side effect from taking "over the counter drugs." However, medicines or drugs for hypertension? How many side effects should be in order not to take them? Or replaced it with another drug but then turned out the replacement drug was worst than the first prescription. How can those pharmaceutical companies can perfect their own product? How long they can prove that their medicines are proven effective and safe for human beings to take? Just like the vaccine for the coronavirus and COVID-19, the trials according to the experts can take one year to two years and it depends on who will be the "guinea pigs."

Well, you'll never know who are the guinea pigs anymore. 

Before those vaccines reach your arms, the first humans who will take the vaccines (after the trials) would be your health care workers such as doctors, nurses and the people working in the hospitals, then the most vulnerable unhealthy humans, next the government officials, the public, and lastly the healthy human beings. 

Last night, I watched the movie MAZE RUNNER: DEATH CURE. The first sequel of this movie, that too I watched it and how they end up with the last sequel. Their pandemic is somewhat apocalyptic while the current pandemic of the coronavirus is actually different from that sci-fi movie. Of course!

In the first sequel, healthy young kids and healthy teens were isolated in maximum labyrinth prison-like high walled, nobody knows why they were taken there until they escaped. Every time the group of this youngsters escaped, group of armed men tried to take them back to prison. The last sequel featured the reason why, they are being used as "the cure." Their blood being used as antibodies or antidote for the infected. In layman's term and in another version for this movie, vampires really do exist. Blood for blood. Not because the scientists are using scientific instruments to make it look like modern technology, the vampires made it look like the acquisition of blood in the high-tech modern world look banal and sophisticated. Sosyal.

Don't burn your blood. Using too much computers and cellphones can dry the blood in your body real fast.

 

Adaptation

 Something new in terms of  "material things" that's good to have. Of course everybody likes to have something new when it comes to clothing, shoes, accessories and everything you wished for

 however when it comes to concept, customs, beliefs and traditions then it must always follow the rule of law or follow the tradition that the whole family and clan cannot argue with. Convergence not divergence. Learn to adapt with the environment.

And you thought you cannot change your old clothes, underwear and old shoes? LOL. OMG!

Just recently, hubby bought a brand new microwave oven. The 6 year old  LG microwave oven that we owned had been replaced. Supposedly, microwave oven should lasts up to 10 years. ? The LG still looks brand new however, when suddenly its circular glass tray started spinning every time we open the microwave's door without pushing its function button then we knew something is wrong. Hindi ko pa nga napupush yung button to start, nagstart na nang buksan ko yung door parang magic. Yeah, feels like maximum overdrive! You think that's product of my imagination when too many had seen it spinning?  So, we are now using Hamilton Beach microwave oven and the LG has been dumped out. I hope this time the microwave oven will last longer than the LG brand. 

Watching TV NEWS on the school opening or back to school process on how kids and parents follow the medical protocol on wearing face masks and using hand sanitizer at school even on the school ground. It seems that things are going smoothly except for those students that might compromise  members  of their family whose got cancer and other respiratory illness. At a time when wildfires & smoke are also the culprit of  such health problems.

The flu vaccine could be available soon. However, the vaccine for COVID-19 and coronavirus? I don't know when the vaccine would be available for everyone because the trials are not over yet. We are still in the year 2020, remember? Can flu vaccine + powerful antibiotic works for coronavirus?

Wishing the weather temperature will soon get cooler if not colder. 

To those whose mental acuity still in limbo...you want something of a SPIN? 

You wont need a psychologist nor  a psychiatrist dude! LOL.

Maybe Something New Is Not The Way

 The new blog format setting is nothing but a way to lure bloggers from unnecessary intrusion of hackers!

It is NOT a way of helping the Bloggers but it's just a distraction of anything that is normally been followed by most of us. Sure it makes challenging for us to try something new and at the same time keeping us grasping in a very tedious process. 

Traditionally, we all are powered by our customs and traditions for years and years and trying something new can be very difficult or expecting the unexpected can do more harm, this is so true with blogging.

It opens up new route to something else. How & Why? Try it for yourself. Then you'll know what I mean.

There are so many of us who cannot follow and wont follow. There are divergents and allegiants but who are you anyway? 

The normal and the abnormal. Are you one of both? Are you owned, taken or bought?

Anyway, so my blog has been formatted to something I already cancelled and yet automatically divert to the whims of the technorats. Maybe to slow down the process of blogging. The red tape! Maybe bloggers are blogging too fast and that can make some people out there very nervous. Why that anxiety? Are people afraid of the old people with more experience? They should be happy and feeling contented that those old people are their parents, elders and employers. They can pass their old knowledge and experience to them. Whoever is not passing the knowledge to their workers, to their students should be condemned. Whatever. Explaining our experience will only be futile to those who doesn't like being taught or those whose motive and purpose in life are different from the olds. 

Anyway, just like what twitter implemented of  14 words at the most to make a point. However those 14 words statement can become paragraphs per twit.  While Blogger pioneered with essay format followed with photo captions of the topic for discussion. Which is better?

So this is what happened... I upload the boiled crabs first and the photo upfront appeared with the mushrooms with crab stuffing. This is what "hack" is. With the new format, whoever replaced it on my blog is doing the manipulation as if my blog belongs to him or whoever he is. I am not happy at this format. I tried to cancel such formatting but still the stupid idiot (pardon my french!) insisted.

Three red crabs,  one crab without legs and hands. Only one small bowl of tender crab meat gathered from those crabs. That's all you may ask.

Cleaning the crabs with water at the sink before the boiling process.  The bonus here is the quillback rock cod which I cooked with coconut milk and eggplants.

So, now you know when there are intrusion and distraction in one's blogging eh? But you know me, I am so ready, ever ready whatever is ahead of me in blogging because randomly you cannot make me stop from thinking and planning whatever your game is. Because my mind blogs randomly. Anything can happen and my mind is ready for the unexpected.

Maybe. Maybe Not!

 I don't really know what to cook this time around. Maybe I will ask my daughter to deep fry prawns once again or have some wraps?

Or have a simple meal of just having a vegetable salad for lunch? Wow! Dieta. lol

Maybe wait for the husband to return from crabbing and have some stuffed fillet of crabs on mushrooms?  So let us just have hotdogs for lunch and have heavy meals for dinner.

Darn it! Today is Sunday, life goes on. Nothing much to do except the ordinary routine work at home. The Matrix movie and its sequels returned to AMC Channel. Maybe, the continuation of old reruns of THE WALKING DEAD will be shown in the afternoon. The weather temp. at about 16 C today. Not really cold. It's hot at 16 degrees Celsius. Why? Too many wildfires happening in California. I know too far away from Vancouver island. How that happened? is it boiling temperature underneath the Pacific ocean or what?

Are you ready to return to school on September 8? Anxiety sets the trend as in being the new normal nowadays since the pandemic. Non-stop worrying and non-stop preparation by parents on how they can cope up with burgeoning problems and the government officials are in the same situation of coping up, exercising vigilance, of course they have emergency preparedness, they are always alert now and doubling efforts to do what they can in this horrible, evil global pandemic.

In Unity There Is Strength

Here I am wishing for cooler weather temperature, because it is stubbornly HOT! I don't know what the perfect weather here in Canada but definitely a cooler weather temp. is more favorable. It is not Canada when it's not cold.

Go away bugs! Bugs multiply when the weather is hot.

Kids will return to schools after Labour Day and knowing most schools and universities are built with thicker insulation, then you really have to wish for cooler temperature.

The growth of virus and the spread of virus slows down when the temperature is cold.

So let us wish for a happy return to normalcy, return to back to school and business as usual. WE are stronger TOGETHER!

The Breaking Point

When sometimes it's best to get away from facebook so that I can concentrate on my blogs. Facebook is becoming like a tele-marketing site and telegram for greetings: birthdays, anniversaries, obituaries, and other daily events worthy of remembrance. It's not that bad, actually because it is so damn so helpful for the lives of  many who benefit from the social network. It gets addicting sometimes that you are being magnetized to stay there as if your life depends on it.

There are so many million happenings out there, outside the virtual world that we often neglect to focus our eyes on.  There are millions of people without the benefit of technology and their lives seem perfect as it used to be. Just like what happened in the Spanish flu of 1918-1919. Only the vulnerable with radio and other means of communication during those period of time were the ones affected. The rest of the world didn't really know what was happening way back then and continue to live life to the fullest. In other words, ? what could be that "pandemic" about?

A virus that never seem to go away could be not a virus but some form of chemical spill.
 Chemical spill could be "viral" in the sense that millions are affected by its strength. For example, the "chernobyl nuclear spill." That was long time ago. It's not caused by a virus! Or the chemical toxic spill on the ocean and had poisoned marine creatures and large  bodies of water. The effect of the toxicity of such environmental disaster, the proportion at which affect the immunity of ones population. That  a simple colds or flu can turn deadly because the strength of a human being cannot function perfectly enough to combat any intrusion because the body has already been damage by such toxic chemicals. The breaking point. What's worse is the mutation. To add insult to injury are the wildfires. Not really a virus!! Once all the smokes get into the lungs and other parts of the body, could lead to ailments and illness hard to cure. Respiratory problems.

There are cure for certain diseases caused by bacteria and virus. Is there a cure for toxic environmental hazards? CANCER is the worse kind of evil.
