Today & Tomorrow

 Halloween today and Halloween parties started earlier in other countries and to think that Halloween is a fun, safe celebration of being spooky, gory-like faces of ghouls, demons, zombies vampires and goblins in the country where I am. However, what happened in Seoul, South Korea had a different Halloween situation of  being trapped in a narrow alley and had at least 146 + dead in a stampede. Hundreds were reported injured and investigations underway or they should have known the cause of such stampede by now.

Another casualty of stabbing incident somewhere in BC as if its related to the Halloween. Wether those stories are real or product of imaginations by the creators of  "halloween demonic organizations" don't know for sure... as there will always be hoax, scams and believe it or not stories just for the sake of something to talk about.

For those who are related or working and or hooked up to Twitter company, Jack Dorsey is out and some staff had been fired or laid off when the billionaire mogul Elon Musk took over after paying $44 BILLION dollars in acquisition of Twitter. My God! What happened to Elon? I didn't know that Twitter is worth that much. He could have just create his own platform just like Mark Zuckerberg (founder of Facebook). That maybe the reason is the foundation of Twitter is great for his SpaceX. I think there is something in Twitter that he likes or he probably discovered something in there that is valuable or has sentimental value. I couldn't think more of other than because of the amount of data, the volume of texts, the people whose accounts are known to Twitter. Hmm, what could be? Maybe, he finally realized that Twitter is actually full of SPACEX. If Facebook is for sale he would probably purchase it from Mark Zuckerberg. However, don't think Mark will sell Facebook.

Sports: Vancouver Canucks had finally rise up to winning the games twice in a row after several defeats. It's hard to believe that Penguins lost from the game against Canucks but who should help one another anyway?  You know PENGUINS & CANUCKS the WHALES.

Let's get to the action where the action is right now. ROLEX ATP TOUR (MASTERs) now in PARIS, FRANCE. Uhm, like the trophy for this tennis tournament. A tournament like no other where Djokovic always win the final prize. I wonder what it is made of? Copper, steel or jade the gemstone of heaven? Hope and wish new winner will win the prize this year. 

As usual had finished my household chores: cooking, laundry, housecleaning,  ironing of clothes, changing new beddings and coordinates. Not much of tasks to do in a very small, cozy house. The weather is hazy, cold (11 C) and boring outside. Most of the autumn foliage had fallen to the ground and maybe it will snow in the next few days.

Halloween is just another day. Tomorrow is ALL SAINTS DAY!

 The Circuit. Something NEW? None, ZERO! 

One for the money, two for the show. The show on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE showed what will happen today. They have their predictions too. Tom Hanks as Dave? lol. Such a joker. Not really funny though.

So, I still wake up very early morning at about 5:30 AM. I was up and having my breakfast waiting for the ERSTE BANK OPEN TENNIS TOURNAMENT in Vienna, Austria. What ERSTE? Seems like an effing code. ER maybe the BLOOD BANK.

Looks like Kanye West anti-semitic helps in the game. Is he George in the new tv series LAZARUS PROJECT? LOL. 

Anyway, what can we do when your favourite player  didn't win? Better luck next time because how many times these tennis players Novak Djokovic, Rafal Nadal and Zverev wins in tennis tournament? So many hundred times. Maybe because they were drinking EVIAN WATER. When you drink energy drinks and eat energy snacks that helped too, a lot! If you eat a lot of leafy, green veggies maybe that will give you a different edge. Yup, you'll be a monk and you must climb Mount Everest for that. Maybe the audience and umpire is in favor of Meds for free. It's the Health Care dude. 

One thing for sure, Shapovalov is getting stronger with his serving, better than most tennis players. He is a better player when he keeps cool or not showing arrogance.  He served and hit tennis balls as fast as 209 to 213 km/h. That's the SPEED we want to happen. Try 220 km/hr speeed next time. He concentrate and kept his focus on first set but on second set he was kind of  having faults after faults that Medvedev was able to rise up but he was struggling. Shapo could have hammered Medvedev just like his first match with him way back summer time but he just let Medvedev wins in the end. Dude what's wrong with you? Is that a Russian deal or what? Anyway, CONGRATS!🙌

It is Sunday today, so 7 days of ATP Tournament in Vienna Sausage is over!Brutal! Ha ha ha! Now we are waiting for Felix whether he will win or not from Holger Rune (He doesn't look like a Viking though, j/k) in Basel, Switzerland. It's Felix Auger- Aliassime won against Rune escape Holger Rune from Norway. CONGRATS FELIX! What's the secret? You had beaten Carlos and now Rune?

Hmm, they really want to open the bank. 

THE WALKING DEAD. Interview with the Vampire, Vampire Academy & THE RESORT to watch out for tonight.

So many halloween movies and just last night we enjoyed watching APRIL FOOL'S DAY & BRAM STOKER's DRACULA (starring Winona Ryder, Keanu Reeves, Anthony Hopskin, Gary Oldman). 

 

So much bloody rage and so much blood flowing.

 

Because it's NUNYA, none of your effing business so we have to get away or avoid any of such conflict whatsoever could only say... nothing but NUNYA.

 SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE tonight?

I don't know for sure until  I have the remote control in my hand. A lot of surprising news flooded so many news networks last night and today. Hard to believe and the news reporters and journalists are having a great feast.

Let us start with... I woke up late this morning at past 7 AM, Saturday. When I turned on the TV and at TSN: ERSTE bank in VIENNA AUSTRIA Tennis Tournament is almost at the second set. The match between (Denis) Shapovalov (7) vs Coric (6) (Borna) then the second set Shapovalov (5) Borna (0). I missed the first set. How fast the matches with Shapovalov and never get into 3rd set except for his match with Fritz. Good for him. He won against Coric. He should win in the FINAL and get the trophy once and for all. He should have been the winner in S. Korea and Japan. lol. Whew! Not favoritism dude. That boy deserves to win major title and how he was down from Top 9 to down below 25 was so shocking. I don't know how that happened, anyway. I should have keep an eye on his every ATP tournament he is in to play. He just need to concentrate, keep in focused with his game, keep his ears shut with all the tirade and bullying from the hecklers at the stadium and stay humble. Keep cool despite all the noises. It's a game. Isn't that weird and strange that you don't see Olympic athletes having tantrums? What's the secret? That's it they have to keep their emotions to themselves as part of their Olympic oath.

Then critic and fans started blaming that his losses were because of Shapo's girlfriend who is also a tennis player from Sweden. Who's the jinx? Then the blame game started again that maybe because of his coach Delgado so Delgado was fired and Polanski into the rescue. However, when Polanski became the coach, there are two other coaches-trainees who trained him on hard stunts fit for boxer. FGS! He is a tennis player not a boxer or to play kickboxing. lol. Weird. If you are playing tennis, you are already exercising. So from Top 10 down to 26 then now Top 19, maybe he should really win to get back to where he could stand firmly with stability. Do it while the tennis greats are having their vacation (Djokovic, Nadal, Zverev). Put Canada on top of the map, on top of the world again.

Hmm, winter is fast approaching. Maybe we'll have snowfall earlier.

I'm going back to bed and sleep. I don't need those crap on Saturday. Wonder what kind of crap on THE WALKING DEAD tomorrow? I should not able to predict that eh? Ha ha ha!

On who will win between SHAPOVALOV and MEDVEDEV?

Look how many times Medvedev and Shapovalov  had a match? If Medvedev won again that is foul and BORING. If Shapovalov wins that opens up younger people having high hopes and dreams come true to life and might pursue the same career and ambition of being the next champion. I think it's best for Shapovalov to win.

Hair

 My silver hair is coming out of yin-yang and haven't dye my hair black yet because don't know for sure if I will portray the "role and part of the Targayen's." LOL. Ha ha! J/K

Of course that's a joke.

People younger than me have gray hairs, white hair or what ever they want to call their hair when they grow old and those white streaks started coming out.

Hey, my first growth of white hair started at a very young age. I was 12 when I first saw I had at least few white hairs and from then on started pulling them one by one. Every time there's one or two coming out in the open, pull them off, out from my scalp. My hair was so black and so thick that you wont even notice there are white hairs hiding from underneath my scalp. It was only later when I turned age 50 that I have to dye my hair black because pulling those white hairs would mean two white hairs (long strand) will replace one long white strand being pulled out. You pulled one long white long strand of hair two or three white long strands of hair could replace them. Wow!

You think you will go bald eh? No. Unless of course if you are suffering from alopecia. 

I think the more I washed, cleaned and shampooed my hair the faster of its growth and double the strength. I have to cut at least 3-4 inches of my hair every month.

The hair is known as the crowning glory of every woman. You can make fun of it by braiding them and lock them like a bun or brush them straight, maybe perm them for any style you want. You can use a hair clip, hair band and spike them up, color your locks and spray streaks on them depends on what kind that pleases your appearance. 

Hm, now I'm thinking maybe better buy a wig and try first what kind of hair color that will look best on me. Platinum blonde? Red hair? Pink or blue?

Darn it why the need to end this superbly suspense, mystery series on TV? I can't get enough of what could and could have done...

I don't know if LAZARUS PROJECT would be interesting after MIDWICH.

Memories

 Still dark at 7 AM. Usually is at during Autumn Season and it will clears up only on November 6, 2022 because DST ends on that day. DST = Daylight Saving Time.

Because of this process of saving one hour ends, one hour back... how many wristwatches I had that got ruined? From expensive Gucci, Guess, Citizen, Relic, Timex. Later on what the heck should I wear wristwatch especially in Canada. Nobody knows what the true real time now except if you don't want being late for work. Or some people just look at the screen of their cellphones and thus give them the time, date and schedule for something important to do and  weather report and whatever they want record of their own deeds.

I usually go to my appointment very early actually most of the time I am ahead at least for 20 minutes or 15 minutes earlier. I developed that habit since at the time when I was an elementary student because I am the Class President and I hold the keys to our class room door and the metal file cabinet and book shelf/cabinet. Being early not tardy all the time especially if I was the one checking for attendance. Even at work I was earlier than most workers. My employers knew that but at one time that I was late for work. For the first time I was late for work and everybody at the workplace noticed that especially my boss. He asked me why I was late. I was such in a hurry to get in the door to hang my shoulder bag and quickly answered him that " oh, the time upstairs is different from the time downstairs." All of a sudden, laughter filled the room. It turned out the other workers are listening to the conversation.

Well to explain that to you...just in case you might not think of something else. The clock upstairs in our home has a different time on our wall clock downstairs. One hour difference. 

Later on my boss usually asked me something out of curiosity. Questions like, "Verna can you see something from your back? " WTH is he talking about? Hmm, I'd like to think that right now after I remember the industrial dishwashing machine at the back where I stand at the workplace has certain pressure sort of like a laser beam. That maybe is what he was asking me before, while he was standing right in front of the microwave, reading a science magazine with an advertisement of a "person's head with a software slot."  OMG! Creepy. lol.

There are certain memories that are too vivid for me to remember. And suddenly I SEE why all of a sudden it means to me? Darn it it's KT Tunstall.

Your Nose Is The Shortest Bridge

 There are commodities that are valuable and worth inexpensive at the supermarket. I think it has something to do with supply and demand. The Law of Supply & Demand (Economics). 

For example: If the price of goods and services is high, then the demand for them is low. If the demand is high for goods and services then the price is low. 

If a head of lettuce iceberg is worth C$ 7.99/each that maybe there is low demand for it.

While if the bar of cheese (1.15 kg) is worth C$9.99 at Costco you wonder why, the demand for such cheese is high. 

Another example:

These grapes above photo images: grapes bigger than a dollar. The size of a toonie! Yup bigger variety of grapes. It is not sweet and it is not sour. Just so perfect. It taste like a succulent seedless grapes similar in flavor with guava. How that happened? Inexpensive grapes. ? Truth is ROYALTY Grapes.

These red seedless grapes much better because this variety tastes like lanzones. 

Wonder what lanzones?

How and why some fruits tasted the same or different from each other depends on how those botanists experimented with certain particular species of plants. Or simply because of the type of soil where those plants are grown, either on alkaline soil or based on acidity of the soil. What fertilizer is used, water, and nutrients used and if the soil is volcanic, or dry, wetlands or varied greatly with pollinators in certain demographic area. 

Other than those mentioned above, don't know why some grapes are better than the other. Why grapes could only be just for wines and why other varieties are for raisins.

How about cheesecake? Why the price of cheesecake went up so high and is now priced at $24? When months ago it only costs $17? 

The ingredients probably are costly and to include the labor (wage for the baker) and the price of gas and oil went up too high and that resulted to price increase of commodities. INFLATION. Always stupid inflation to be blamed and the "recession."

So, it is not only Canada reporting the empty shelves in supermarkets but also in the US. How about supermarkets in Asia: Philippines, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, etc. do they have problems with supply and demand? 

Could it be that those manufacturers are hoarding the goods? Because according to the news on TV Networks, price of goods will go up again in December and into the next year. 

Who we have to blame for this? The war in Ukraine? 

War in Iraq, Afghanistan, war in any parts of the world did not affect the whole world except when Russia invaded Ukraine. That means the distribution of major commodities the major supply of goods have something to do with Russian's ability in world navigation, distribution of major supply and demand for every goods and services. With China... in it. Do not blame the pandemic because that was a made up pandemic based on its "origin" and implementation of strategy. Swabbing of noses and nostrils is more likely an act of humiliation imposed on those countries by "opposing supreme world dictators" to show how influential and powerful they are in the world domination. It just started with those "victims of tear gas" and those who violated the Geneva Protocol. The TEAR GAS!

On Being Cheesy!

 THE RUINS.

The RUINS as foretold to be one of the greatest spots in the world. How could ruins be greater when they are site of ruins or ruined architectural structure?

HISTORY is what history does, record of what had been and what really happened as evidence in material or visual form. Ruins tell you as exact representation that history happened in that same, exact location with vivid memories accompanied in that gigantic epic proportion. 

What is the relevance of such ruins? Time and time again HISTORY has a way of proving important events, millions of lives loss, that the structural images, buildings, and setting was preserved for the next generation to see, analyze, excavate, extract, explore to study and make a thorough research.

How evolution of time, culture, heritage took place in one such area or location as HISTORY unfolds the secrets and mysteries that will lead us to believe that what has been transpired through the manuscript, old and and ancient  proved true to what the early form of civilization was all about and what you can learn from it.

When sometimes, the gold diggers and tomb raiders would rather seek the ruins in search for treasures, the ark, the covenant, pre-historic bones and what could be the greatest  find ever?

Ho-hum, so boring already. Some people got nothing to do because every move, every action needs corresponding budget. Only those humans with exceptional wealth for spending could afford everything. 

Would you spend $7.99 for a head of lettuce? That's how high inflation affects most of us. We had our hamburger and fries last night for dinner and our burger had no lettuce. Forget about leaf of lettuce. At least our hamburger has slices of portabella mushrooms, sliced onions, sliced tomatoes, beef patties with spices, cheese. Yup, cheese made that burger so good. Cheese whiz by Kraft! LOL.

Next To Impossible

 It's the season of Fall already and some people in other parts of Canada are having problems with water and they are expect to conserve water. It's hard to believe in places like this especially if the areas are surrounded by big bodies of water. 

Hmm, what if the modernization of transportation lead to using water only for EV or Electric Vehicles? I don't really find it amusing that EV would be "mandatory" for well developed countries. Would it be mandatory that ambulances, fire truck, police cars and other emergency vehicles should be all EVs? It takes one hour to charge an EV. If you are in a hurry or for emergency would you like speding one hour to charge your vehicles? One hour wasting for EV charging when filling up a gas tank for vehicles takes only 5 minutes to 10 minutes at least. 

Water evaporates. Water turns into air and oxygen. I wonder how millions of Electric Vehicles could be a factor for climate change, when it's not only water or hydro that powers electricity. People will keep on digging the earth to find sources to power electricity. Wind turbine could be helpful but humans have to dig down earth and must have to live underground while the giant wind turbines do the works on the surface. Live inside the BEEHIVE just like in RESIDENT EVIL.

With fossil fuels and extraction of gas, the source of energy...humans are digging the earth for such a very long time. Humans > billions of them pooped, billions of animals pooped even schools of fish pooped so there are sources of gas in land and water. If you don't use them for gas and oil then you are suffocated by the millions  tons of pollution (land, air, water). 

Anyway, EV should not be a mandatory vehicle in the future. The reason why gas is explored and extracted and used for vehicles and machinery to run its because waste is an awful way to discard and the process of which that it was manufactured for its function and usage for mankind's survival. 

If you are concern about climate change and clean air and clean earth then do nothing. Don't even breathe. Stop the cows and bulls from exhaling methane in the air. 

Whatever. Maybe I am clueless about what EV or Electric Vehicle on its function as the latest modern vehicles but it is built for luxury. Maybe for status quo. Some people tend to brag about something new and what their tons of money they can afford to buy and have. 

If ordinary humans are complaining about high inflation, the cost of living the price of major commodities, would they ever think of EV as their choice of luxury vehicle? Hmm, maybe if EV comes out free of use and free electricity for EV users which of course next to impossible.

Same Old Ancient Story Being Repeated Time & Again

 NEWS on TV is getting fired up once again of the looming fascist movements in Europe and in the Middle East. Don't really know if those news are hoarded news or it is the current news. However the news of "infrastructures" between Russia and Ukraine continues even if Russians are missing parts for their modern artillery and parts for drones. That's what in the news! 

DRONES. How many drones a country needs for the war effort? You know the movie, old movie about BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED? lol. One small spaceship with small aliens made of tin cans or steel manage to rebuild a building overnight. Why destroy when it can be rebuilt that way so fast, not costing so much and not causing so much lives? But that's fiction! Product of fiction and war in Ukraine & Russia is real. Elimination of race.WAR sometimes is used for those leaders to have access to medical products especially tranquilizers and anaethesia. The supply distribution could be smooth and easy during the war. EVIL in its core. Politics is dirty.

WAR is an evil plan to eliminate human race. Elimination or booting off the inhabitants and end up refugees in another country so that they wont have to deal with radicals and it would be the problem of another country. History had it, so ancient old and rotten but that's how humanity is perceived as vulnerable. FASCISM. Only the strongest live. It's fascist movement. You are the weakest link to accept the eliminated and face the problem of feeding, clothing them making you their slaves. You worked so hard in order to feed those extras. But that's humanity right? Feeding the poor , vulnerable is the job of  "charity or charitable institutions or religious group" sometimes by Experimenters for an exchange of vital organs for transplant (heart, kidney, lungs, liver) or donations in kind of blood and plasma.

In the womb of a woman  only the strongest sperm met the egg and pregnancy resulted into fetus. In the Matrix style of evolution the same path follows of the strongest has to live and survive. However in the end in the MATRIX the strongest turned out to be the sacrifice. WEIRDO.

SURVIVAL is simply a matter of how you act and live and survive amongst survivalists. How your country's leader deal with how to survive in our generation. If your leaders are weak, you end up with weak leadership and you end up refugees and in another country and still fight for your right as human being whether you are liable to be in their country as such that you wont be a burden. Well some leaders end up in war to prolong their leadership and stay to be the leader for as long as it takes thereby war becomes an OCCUPATION in modern conflict and who they are fooling? The long supply chain keeps coming you know, why end the war? Gheez, its playing with your mental health and playing with power and taxpayers have to bear the burden as in HUGE BILLS TO PAY. That's a lifelong SUFFERING because you let it happen.

What's Real & What Is Not Real

 It gets darker at 6 PM until 7 AM and there you know that Autumn season is really real true to its context. That would mean early dinner and waking up late in the morning instead. Sunrise before 8 AM, wow! isn't that weird?

Soon it will be sleepy hollow-hallow and the foggy atmosphere lingers as if something spooky is out there to get you. Maybe a boogey man or Michael Mayers or Jason. 

This morning news about a serial killer was caught. The police investigators were on manhunt for that black guy wanted for serial killing and finally he was caught and put to prison. That's the latest news this morning. 

Then the local city election result had it that our city has a new mayor. Mayor Adam is out and Kermit Dahl is in for 4 year term as a Mayor for Campbell River. You think Dahl is Roald Dahl eh? lol. He is Kermit (not the frog!) Congratulations! Maybe he will supply millions of tires for drivers in this city.

Yesterday had a nightmare. The story started while we were on vacation in Italy (in Venice). I was with my 3 nieces and their husbands searching for venue for a pub/restaurant they want to build and co-owned right there closer to the beach. I noticed while we are wondering noticed shadowy figures following us and ignore them as much as I could. To our surprise while we are on the way to the sports arena, my son and his group of  friends saw us, approached, we're all surprise that they were on vacation too in Italy. Shadowy figures followed us once again and their noises are almost getting closer to the sports arena and to our amazement, thousands of those robot dogs without heads came running towards at everyone in the stadium. There was screaming and stampede. We ran away and hide from those war dogs. Crazy! Why WAR OF THE WORLDS is in my dream? I am in WAR OF THE WORLDS setting in a dream. I woke up to stop the crazy madness of such chaotic event.

OMG! I watched THE WALKING DEAD for eleven years and I never ever had a dream about zombies or facing zombie attack no matter how scary, gory and horrifying zombie apocalyptic is for human mind. I had no dream of poltergeist, vampires, or any screamers/slashers but WAR OF THE WORLDS kind of horror got into my frightmare. Unbelievable.

Truth be told, those robot dogs without heads are not product of fiction. There are actually real  robot dogs created for experiments. They experimented on them for entertainment. However, in WAR OF THE WORLD tv series, those robot dogs have hidden blade (like a knife) inside their body and neck and then automatically stab a human being upon contact face to face and use for combat in war torn countries.

 Do you ever imagine that anything in this world has connections? Just like small atoms connecting with bigger atoms. You just don't want being connected yet they want you to connect with them? And if you don't, then you are left out and you lose from those connections. You are disfranchised. 

That could happen anywhere, anytime especially when at the beginning of your life. Your family is the "nucleus" that gives you the first start and then stages and stages, step by steps up to the level when you think you can journey alone without anybody holding you or connecting with you and that's impossible. Nobody lives alone, no man is an island.

What happened at MIDWICH CUCKOOS finale, the ending to that "Village of the damned" had its tragic end. Is that the real finale for the "gifted, misunderstood group of kids whose minds were controlled by somebody wicked and evil than who they are?" 

We wont able to know what is the true real cause of such phenomena. It could be alien produced babies who felt unloved, and used for experiment. Midwich is a remote, rural community in UK and the village was actually not saintly or innocent of any wrongdoing. Midwich is probably visited by "angels" just like those angels who had a visit with Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah and these "angels" followed the laws of God by the book and punished the offender of the Ten Commandments. The story focused on the evil of those kids with powers of telekinesis and mental telepathy but it failed to tell the story of those inhabitants of the village and who they are humans. What kind of life they live as humans and the secrets they hide. It happened in the PAST, and the HOLY BIBLE recorded such tragic event. Since there is no part 2 or sequel for MIDWICH CUCKOOS, something like this could happen in POLYGAMOUS COMMUNITY wiping out the sinners and if these "dark angels" vanished without a trace? or had its return? It will be called "ethnic cleansing."

I think Midwich Cuckoos is based on true story. Believe it or not.

I don't know if last night's episode is the last or that's only a season finale. The gifted kids wont die just like that for nothing together with granny Susannah when the bus exploded into furious flames of fire into dark smokes reaching the sky.  Their ESP didn't work in advance for their doomsday? Or just that  their exit is their greatest escape.

Exotic Viands

 Foods I enjoyed to have for lunch or dinner are more  exotic than you think.

PINANGAT - A special Filipino dish, ingredients are wrapped with taro leaves. The ingredients are cooked (saute') first: garlic, chopped onions, shredded ginger, lots of ginger, minced pork, shrimps, dried fish, coconut cream and stuffing for the taro leaves, simmered in coconut milk until its cooked in a big wok. You can add spices if you want. So much work to make this very unique, exotic food.

PASTRY - Sweets made from ube haleya (root crop similar to sweet potato, purple yam). The sweets (hopia) above are made from combination of ube and jackfruit. Not a viand but a dessert.

MACKEREL - usually had macky in hot coconut milk with veggies such as bittermelon, eggplant and squash, onions, ginger and garlic. Don't forget the spices, salt and pepper.

PINAKBET - mix veggies sauteed with pork.

PINAIS - all ingredients are wrapped in a leaf called "ispangil" known only in Quezon province in Philippines. Ingredients such as chopped shrimps, chopped young coconut meat, garlic, onions, salt. Once wrapped with ispangil, you still have to wrap the "gift" in a banana leaf and steamed the whole gift package until its cooked.

No wonder why we consumed so much rice at home. The exotic viands can make you eat more steamed rice.

Halloween Movies & Series

 Canadians are not happy with the playoffs between Mariners & Blue Jays baseball team. It was actually a good year for TORONTO BLUE JAYS. Why they lose the game is uncalled for. What really happened?

Oh, it was the hurricane Fiona and hurricane Ian... blame those two hurricanes that looked like tornadoes.

What? Hmm... weird right? Or blame the Rogers great power outage.

We have to blame something or others for certain failures.

Otherwise, we wont be able to move on.

Have you seen the television series WAR OF THE WORLDS? Where the sky is like a huge canvas. That black hole is really real and has gravitational force willing to devour humanity and suck out of its juices until they bled dry?

Yesterday was a Halloween fiesta, rather marathon of Halloween movies such TRICK OR TREAT, CARRIE (Clairvoyance and telekinetic power, real macabre horror), the return of  Michael Myers and Jason HALLOWEEN & FRIDAY THE 13th. So many of these horror movies I watched when I was younger and these movies never seem to amaze so many viewers. Then finally watched the last sequel of SCREAM (4), Sidney returned to her hometown where teens of a local high school were fanatic fans of STAB and they held a Stabbathon party. Just as what Sidney told the would be "next local heroine" "never mess up with the original. lol. Ha ha! Jokers. How Neve Campbell as Sidney managed to got away, escape from all the troubles eh? VIDA. She is the lead actress and she got the best script from the scriptwriter. Screamers and slashers.

So why Jodie Foster didn't make the sequel to SILENCE OF THE LAMBS? The next scenes for the sequel was kind of gory and how other actresses can do it? How those actors and actresses can manage the long eleven years fighting zombies? Do they have nightmares?

Would you believe there is another new sequel for HALLOWEEN? Omg! Jamie Lee Curtis wont ever retired. I was already in College when I started watching a sequel of Halloween. The first Halloween movie was released in the year 1978. What I watched was already a "sequel" not the first one. I watched all the sequels except HALLOWEEN END. Why Michael Myers never die? Is he a robot or his wicked soul transfer from one body to another to continue his evil saga of murderous act? It doesn't make sense. EVIL doesn't really makes sense,

THE WALKING DEAD (2nd episode 2/8 - 8 Episodes  until the last, until the finale of THE WALKING DEAD). New cast added, old cast members are out as the zombies consumed them for food. The Commonwealth's losing ground now that the son of the head of the Commonwealth was left to die at the hands of the zombies, and only Judith who tried to stop the attack, although it's too late ... more zombies are coming and don't know really what will happen next. Eleven years. Look at Judith, she's growing up so fast, just like Chandler who acted in that popular tv series at age 9 and was out age 16. If there is something like an apocalyptic history wonder why zombies cannot be defeated in just a year or two. 

Tonight is the continuation of LA BREA. It's not a Halloween movie or series. It is more of a science fiction. Time warp or the Earth is more stranger than fiction or there is a black hole and a particularly large sinkhole that can suck out the gravity from the surface down to the core where time is not part of the evolution. Hmm, dunno. That's why better watch it from the very beginning and find out and learn from it. Learn how to survive and how you can help rescue people from the sinkholes. Or read  " IF " all over again.

 Some like it hot! Some like it cold!

When it comes to having "special palabok" we usually serve it hot!

Palabok ingredients: Pork, shrimps, prawns, boiled eggs, spaghettini noodles pasta, spices, chopped carrots and chopped celery + palabok shrimp sauce.

The pumpkin pie is chilled, and the whip cream cold enough for the pumpkin pie.

Hmmm... yummy!

Happy or not...let us give thanks to the Lord Our God for the many blessings this year and many years of great blessings to come.

Hot & Cold

 Husband had a shower, made himself presentable and wore something black, as in having a pair of black trousers, black polo-shirt, black leather jacket and black shoes. I asked where he is going and he answered that he will attend a funeral or memorial for their cousin somewhere in Courtenay. Then few minutes later,heard him asking where I am and my daughter told him, "upstairs." The neighbor thought he could ask a babysitter for his 3 month old puppy. The neighbor and hubby left almost at the same time. After more than 2 hours, husband came home and told me that "nobody there!" What? His sister who gave the instruction/direction of the venue for the memorial somehow didn't clearly give the correct message rather it was on the wrong venue. Instead of Courtenay, the venue was actually in Comox. WTH is that?

Hmm...weird right? It's like the movie story of a novice writer for the military who was deployed in war torn country only to arrive in bug infested country of Greenland where old veterans are kept as POW but rather being subjected to certain military experiments. Do you know that movie? It was GUY X starring Jason Biggs and Michael Ironside.

What if you arrive in Iceland you thought its covered with ice but it was actually Greenland that is covered with ice. 

Like, you arrived in Calgary... my God! is that an extension of Philippines? There's more Filipinos over there than in Manila. lol. The weather temperature, the flat lands,  the type of trees, the air... its more like a province of Philippines. How that happened?

Down below the mountain ranges of BC is like an illusion of being in the Philippines. What happened? Am I seeing double version of what a country should looked like? After that all bus transportation from BC to Alberta was cut down. No more bus transportation for such travel. 

And to mark the differences from such countries, snow is the divider. There's no snow in Philippines. No winter in Philippines. That's right.That's the land divide and differences. Whatever.

What if suddenly Philippines experienced winter? 

Wow! Would you consider that a miracle or  a wrath?

Israel is a hot country in the Middle East and suddenly received snow sometime two years ago.

You'll never know for sure what those monkeys up there are experimenting anyway.

By the way, watched the pilot episode of FIRE COUNTRY starring Max Thieriot (SEAL TEAM -Clay Spenser). It was good. The plot story is amazing. Max T. is the actor/producer of this new FIRE COUNTRY series on Global. JERRY BRUCKHEIMER is the lead producer of FIRE COUNTRY. Who's Jerry? He is the producer of SURVIVOR the popular reality show in the US. The theme song for FIRE COUNTRY is awesome!! I don't know what the title of that song. I tried to Google it but other songs were being pushed by whoever... don't know maybe part or has special role in  the Midwich Cuckoos. LOL.

 

Hmmm... What The Hell Is Going On?

 Just this morning, I was trying to retrieve what I had recorded from last night on TV PVR.

In most remote control channel changer, there's a corresponding button for its function. However, the new remote control has no button for such only the letter  "i"  ( i stands for information) and or you can use the microphone for the name of the shows, sports or any series that was recorded. I tried the "i" first and it didn't show the show. When I said, "Rakuten ----blah blah." You know what appears on our TV screen? 

"ROCKETMAN"

I repeated the word "Rakuten tennis tournament..."

Once again it stated on the screen ROCKETMAN TENNIS TOURNAMENT.

What the hell?! FGS!

OMG! This is so weird. So very strange! It's either our TV is possessed by demonic entities.

Ra - ku - ten  Rakuten It's not really hard to pronounce that word. 

RA - KU - TEN and it is not difficult to pronounce ROCKETMAN.

I didn't say Rocketman. But the word Rocketman always appear on the screen. 

DEAF! Our TV is deaf.

Oh well, maybe the MIDWICH CUCKOOS are for real! lol

UPDATE: Truth be told that to use the "microphone" VOICE ACTIVATED to change channels on our TV need to mute the sound from TV. No background noise whatsoever to get to the right channel. Well, unlike before when I knew all the channels in numbers by pushing the buttons only. 

Now you know why using password to open doors did not materialize for modern homes and gates, doors for buildings its because outside noise, any kind of noise destruct the machine's ability from hearing the "password" correctly.

Cues To Live By

 

Wonder where I got this image above? Truth be told it is my drawing. A digital painting sort of painted long time ago for my old, ancient blog. Then now being used as my blog format theme for this application in my blog entitled MY BLOG + MY UNIVERSE.

I have more than 5,000 digital paintings. I have them all stored in CD. Others had been posted in my blogs and on Facebook. 

When I get very creative it's non-stop. Then it has relapse and don't want to do anything about drawing &  painting...ran out of its name and title for the painting. lol

The drawing/digital painting above has something to do with my obsession about pyramid, binocular and monocular cues > rather perception. The MICRO & MACRO.

PERCEPTION. How we perceive things in depth and distance, in forms, shape and colors.

Can you see yourself in from all the cues of life?

 Do you have great sense of perception? is your vision 20/20 or you have bionic eyes?

Do you have stereoscopic vision without the help and the need for eyeglasses? 

Stereoscopic vision - two eyes cooperate much precise sense of depth and distance.

Monocular cues - 2 eyes help perceive depth and distance.

Binocular cues - phenomena requires one eye only to be able to see and view the form, shape, color and forms of what is being viewed at including 3D dimensional configuration.

The advantage of having two eyes with sharp vision lead to better judgment of the object and its objective, aim and goal.  

So, how far can you go?

What Are They Cooking? I Hope Not A Storm

 It's hard to believe that vandals were after the Olympic light cauldron in Vancouver (Jack Poole's) and had broken the glass and now covered with plywood. ? 

What other causes of a GLASS to break? 

Hot & Cold temperature. Gun-totting armed humans firing at the cauldron made of glass?  Earthquake. High pressured matter. Loud, unbearable high intensity noise. Could be soprano or falsetto! Or could be Thermodynamics (1st, 2nd, third). Hmm, what could be?

GLASS, happened to watch that old movie of those humans who had shown extra human abilities: telekinesis, mental telepathy or ESP and animal instincts. Perhaps a more elaborate elevated outcome for the Midwich Cuckoos theme. Has nothing to do with the current news in Vancouver.

On vandalism. Why would they choose vandalism as form of their outrage? Who will perpetuate do this nasty, illegal act of harming public property? specifically the symbol for Olympic Games?

Some weird, strange  humans are calling for attention? Or sort of an immediate, emergency calling for help, change or simply attention to matter that deals with the unknowns? Wow!

Aside from what I mentioned above the cause and effect of how GLASS are broken.

Winter is fast approaching? Breaking down of units...

It's only Autumn and it was just 11 days ago when Fall Equinox had its beginning. Could be hot and cold mystery. High heat or extreme pressure can cause matters to split. Atom can be spliced in just a zap of a laser beam. High pressured water can split a concrete cemented floor or cut a piece of wood in matters of seconds. A laser beam can cut anything. Caution.

Where, Oh Where?

 It's autumn season already and yet we still have to use our electric fan in our bedroom at night. It is quite hot maybe because the insulation is so thick on the walls in this apartment. Or because the tenant's room next to us had their heater on at night. Hm, that could be the cause of such heat. I don't really like a temperature that is over 24 degrees Celsius. Way too hot for me.

My sister and brother-in-law had arrived from the Philippines on their one month vacation. I have so many questions. I want to know what happened and their itinerary and everything but that could wait for days, maybe later.

If my parents and my brothers and families didn't receive any "pasalubong" its because my sister's set of luggage were full of their own pasalubong. I have at least two boxes (balikbayan boxes, quite big! for them to handle) so don't really know how to send those. The thought of whether those items would be favorable for their own liking or not then maybe the option is ... until next time ...    AND DON'T KNOW WHEN. Maybe they wont like it anyway. sigh*

But I noticed that so many Filipinos especially the younger ones dressing clothes fit for cold weather. Huh?! Why? Is there winter season now in Philippines? Weird eh? Do you like snow? I know that there are too many Koreans living in the Norther part of Luzon and Makati, in that Global City where mostly new immigrants from Korea, Japan and China, especially from Hongkong are converged or had chosen Global City as their point of destination. Hm, I could be wrong. Maybe they are just Koreans in their facial features but actually they were Filipinos. You know, how many swimming pools now or chlorinated pools designed for those patrons of chlorine.

While the people here in Canada are turning "browns." LOL. Ha ha ha! Joke, Just kidding.

Beware of pythons, anaconda and other poisonous creatures, crocs and alligators wading through the flood waters in Florida. Beware of flood waters that may cause COVID infection, nuke waste, leptospirosis, and other skin diseases. Be caution. Be careful.

Think Twice

 Happy or not it's OCTOBER already! Days are similar to those falling leaves that were swept away by the wind. October is the month of starting over for those whose lives were affected by two mighty hurricanes Fiona & Ian that toppled down their homes, their businesses and source of livelihood. October is the month that makes you feel what is real and what is not. Reality not fantasy.

The faster and quicker way to improve your lives and those who are affected by gathering of those volunteers in your community. It's your community, you must do it with conscience to make things life worth living.

It's not that the place where you live have no people. People, what are people for?

There's that situation where you can build a strong community through the help of volunteers. When a community is of hard hit by calamities and disaster, volunteers should be available for everyone's needs. The spirit of such community of helping one another is the true value of humanity.

Humanity where are you? lol.

Me being conscientious. Then I also have to think twice of what could be wading through the flood waters is it safe? Thus, a volunteer should also be protected. That everything in this world is not just helping out because you have to think further the long term of such help to your health. That a volunteer needs physical bodies, strong, robust and healthy. That  volunteers are insured and has the health protection and all the protocols they need to do the burgeoning problems of helping out. Otherwise, you should be wise, smart and think twice. Just like those volunteers in times of war. You just don't volunteer to be killed or be the sacrifice to something that you don't even know the cause and effect. 

You know what I mean? You ought to know and you have the right to know first hand.

Every life matters. Everyone has a right to live and follow what is best for your conscience. You don't volunteer just because it is the right thing to do as human being but at the same time you have the right to know of the consequences and you must have the skills and protection.

 Think twice because the training to be the highly skilled worker is more dangerous than the actual operation.
