It's My Blog. It's My World.

My computer-notebook is acting up since yesterday. Something is wrong of course. I don't know if somebody so nasty and vile is booting me off from facebook or from the internet. Then I touched my computer that it's hot like a stove. Maybe that could be it so I don't like my computer being toasted at summer time so I unplugged the wirings from the socket and switched off. My computer was off for more than 10 hours and now I'm back to my blogging.

You'll never know, hackers too can do such thing of booting you off abruptly. Hackers are dime a dozen now you know. We can't do anything about it because they are paid to hack.

Hackwriters are different from hackers. Whatever they are doing we can never tell the true purpose of their motive and why they have to do it.

That a telelvision show about CYBERWAR is being shown and watched by the curious.

True, nothing's safe through the internet. I don't know how we can be safe and secured even if we have firewall, virus protection for  computers because hackers are thinking every scam they can do to seek and find out what you have in store inside your computer.

Tsk! tsk! There are millions of internet users or let say billions of users,  hackers should be hacking the most interesting users out there not my computer because what I have are boring ideas and boring opinions and well, it's my blog, my world and if I don't include you in my blog then you don't exist.

The machine vs human like me? Ha ha ha! The machine can't keep up with my mind.

Darn! I'm autistic so I will keep on blogging and blogging because I rule my world.

Kong Is Not Great!

My son rented the movie video KONG: Skull island. It's different from King Kong or Planet of the Apes. I told that to my husband but he doesn't like KOng or this movie, dunno why.

Because it's already rented why not watch it then. The storyline is somewhat related to the war movie that happened in Vietnam. You may wonder why those soldiers dropped bombs upon seeing the beautiful island. I wonder why too. There was a movie where the soldiers fired shot a Vietnamese village surrounded by rice field and you may wonder why that kind of harsh intrusion and why drop bombs when there's no enemy in sight yet. Anyway, thank goodness I'm not the scriptwriter of this movie. I think the movie is made to just provoke. A very provocative storyline to awaken the innocence of the dragons or to awaken your senses whatever is there for you to reason out and perhaps to wake up your intelligence. Once in a while a movie tries to seek heroes and heroism within you or the cast of characters influence your wit and or the dark side of your character.

Kong is just another movie of depicting that the world of giant animals are simply animalistic, survival of the fittest and the result is always fatal and monstrous. Kong can be evil and nasty but Kong is not my ideal hero. I don't like Kong because of ELY. If Ely is out then maybe I will like Kong. Kong is not human and Kong is not God so the hell with Kong and Ely.

Beware: This Article Is Very Annoying

I couldn't believe that the price of houses went up to heaven! At a time when so many people are looking for shelter of all kinds, houses, condos and places to rent and buy.

The law of demand and supply: When the price is low the demand is high. When the price is high the demand is low. When the demand is high, the price is low. Or vice versa.

Not the case when it comes to housing. There are millions of people looking for places to live, own and rent and there's not much availability of houses, apartments, condominium in Canada.

Because the demand is high right now that the price skyrocketed to whoever can afford but those with lots of money to spend. The low income families will have to suffer in this time of discovery.

There's not much houses for sale and houses for rent where we live that's why the price of available houses for sale or rent are above today's standard. It's crazy!

You can only blame the raging wildfire in the interior of B.C. and the flash flood in the province of Quebec and Ontario. Control migration at all cost.

The realty management and developers set up a high standard of the increase of price because of its priority business as usual and the Good Government must increase raising the standard of the quality of life in cities where affordable housing is necessary. Well, of course it depends on the land resources, where there are land available for the building of houses and apartments.

How? How about in C.R.? Let me tell you that where some business establishments are located in a "reclamation area" where part of the ocean was covered with land you know right there that the availability of land for housing is strictly forbidden. To increase the population of such cities where unemployment is a problem where you think the city mayor will get his budget to provide the population a better deal of employment or source of income?

The fishing industry is simply a matter of hearsay there's multitudes of fish in the ocean only to come home without any catch day by day unfortunately without a catch. With big ships, tall big cruise ships passing here and there on the ocean  annoying the school of fish to thrive. No pulp mill to sustain the livelihood of a city of 40,000 people. The tourism industry is lame. What to see? The forest and parks, the museum, arts, theatre. What else? Too many restaurants and fastfood. Why? Not too many people here in this city hate cooking? Or cheaper to dine in restaurants and fastfood than eat at home?  The department stores are mostly empty of its customers. It's a sadly, not a boom town right now. It's a lonely city of lonely people, unhappy about the economic condition and not too many have happy face. There's a brand new hospital that will help the most unhappy, sick people who are to pay more taxes because you know the hospital is not a free hospital. By the way, I heard you don't have to pay parking ticket in their parking  space. Yey!!!!! lol

Hey, the supermarkets are full of people twice only per month, on the 15th and 30th of the month. OMG! We have to be honest, truthful of what we are dealing right now or hide the economic situation and lie to death that everyone's okay? I told you there's that brand NEW HOSPITAL. That's the business right now. Sad, madam tussad.

Everything's OK! We're all happy here with frowns on our face! We should have Hollywood studio in this city and pretend we're all artists trying to make a living. Hm, great pretenders. Watch Mike & Molly or Seinfeld to be happy and learn how to laugh.

Okay let us watch "GUY X"  movie again. Jason Biggs looked innocent in this old movie. How the hell those veterans from Vietnam war end up in Qattarsa, Greenland?

The Long Waiting Game

I waited and waited until my patience is wearing thin. Three days ago, a beautiful butterfly had a surprise visit at the garden and I took my digital camera so that I can shoot the butterfly for my collection of  butterfly and insects. However, when I had the zoom lens ready and about to click the button of my camera, the butterfly flew right away. I waited for the butterfly to standby on its place right there where the berry plants but the butterfly keeps on moving from one berry to another. I aimed my camera anyway and wait for the right time for the butterfly to sip nectar from the berry flowers, so many flowers there in just one branch. The butterfly seemed unsteady and reluctant and most of the time choosy and picky. It was not an ordinary butterfly, it was absolutely charming, radiant colorful butterfly. It flew away out of my sight before I was able to press the button of my camera.

Darn! I hate it when I missed the opportunity to shoot such a lovely creature with wings. I had few shots (images) of different butterflies before but that colorful species of butterfly is quite extraordinary. Curious about other butterflies in my collection? The rest are bees, dragonflies, etc.

 

 

Everyday, I go out there at the backyard, not worrying whether that garden snake (non-venomous snake) common in the gardens in the forest, woods and yards everywhere,  is at the doorstep of our house or Freddy (Fred the cat) is waiting outside to get petted by my husband or petted by my son.

Instead, a bug beetle was stuck inside the container filled of water for Freddy, yup the beetle got drowned in a container of water outside the yard.

I waited once again for the beautiful butterfly to visit our garden while being cautious that the garden snake will come back and I have my long metal stick with me, holding it so tight ready to hit the snake once it appears at the yard.

Where are you butterfly? Tired of waiting...

 

I can draw! I can paint. So that's the butterfly I was waiting for. That's the kind of butterfly I saw days ago. It's okay, one day that butterfly will visit the garden and I will snap it with my digital camera.

Now what? Waiting to see Taj Mahal? Just let your highly talented mural painter paint it on your tallest building and stand by at the front of the mural and pretend you are in Taj Mahal, India. You can also paint the Great Wall on a huge wall of the building and pretend you are in China.

People wait to be side by side with "great people" so they had 3D images of  Pope John Paul, Presidents and great political leaders, celebrities and you can't be side by side with these "greatness" for real so try the 3D images and pretend that you are siding with them. You know some great people never die because they end up cheese! Cheese & cheesy. j/k

Inconvenient Truth

 

 Look at how I prepare and cooked the meals for my family. Do I get pretty good praises from them? NO! As a matter of fact all I heard are complaints. There is always a complainer. My husband and son are full of complaints about the food being cooked. I wish they complain also when they eat from the restaurant but they are courteous and polite when they are inside the restaurants and they are more than happy to give tip. I'm the one full of complaints when we are inside the restaurant after all restaurant is a place for rants. Now you think that's funny?

 My second son and my daughter, they are kindhearted, good and nice they knew that their Mom labored to prepare and cooked every good meals we ate everyday and they have nothing to complain. The food are delicious. FOOD SHOULD BE DELICIOUS! That's the most important thing!

My husband and son have problems with their "teeth" that food when cooked not according to their taste and if its tough when it's not, when the steak is not according to their liking or if its pork most of the time then they wont eat. Blah, blah, blah....non stop bickering. They are perfectionist! They should really  eat at the restaurant so that when they complain they wont be allowed to go there again.

 

For a change, the husband went fishing/crabbing with his new buddies. They caught few crabs and returned female crabs back to the ocean. He went home with just a medium sized ling cod and one piece of live crab. That's all for us. He probably given the rest of the fish and crabs to the people he went fishing with. I couldn't believe that they didn't catch any salmon. The ocean of B.C. has no salmons?

What happened to the hundred millions of salmons in the ocean?

Could it be that the ocean's water is too warm for the salmons to produce or they died from the lukewarm water?

We all should be aware of the Global  Warming and if we don't listen to the environmentalist Mr. Al Gore (former VP under the US Pres. Clinton administration) then the whole Planet Earth is in jeopardy. Planet Earth in Peril. I heard there is a sequel to INCONVENIENT TRUTH and it's good and in right timing with what's happening right now. There are more than 150 wildfires in the interior B.C. and the cause of fire is determined and undermined? Who knows? God knows! Only God knows. I will have to be there where it happens to believe that event is happening right before my eyes...not to believe what happened in the past or news hoarded from the past.

Solutions and Resolutions

Forget about what will happen in 2041 to 2045 just because year 1941 to 1945 were years of  anomalies, great mistakes... instead what will happen in the next season episode of "The walking Dead."  LOL. OMG! Am I insensitive to the plight of those who suffered and died during the World War II?

First of all, the past is past and it has passed away and if I will have to remember WWII and WWI and all the wars before and all the people who were victims of such war and why is it that a Psychology book stated that World War II made the Japanese mental IQ's increased because of that war. That's unfair right? What the Filipinos have to say about such thing? What is their opinion about that fatal war that caused so much turbulence in the minds and hearts of the Filipinos who suffered and died, victims of such unforgettable war? Could it be that's a form of sarcasm? Who knows? That after the war, the Americans were in favor of the Japanese to rebuild their identity and their economy. Something fishy about that eh? It's not a myth it's history!

So many movies were made depicting World War II and we may never know what's real and what's fake. Too many fake news so maybe too many fake stories too just to earn lots of money.

Let's have the Koreans. Where, when and how the Koreans originally came from? We can't find where they originated from, they were not mentioned in the Holy Bible, nor the Japanese, Filipinos were not also mentioned in the Holy Bible. The Filipinos were then the  Mayo-Polynesians, they were the Natives when the Spaniards under Ferdinand Magellan  arrived to colonize them in the 15th Century. The islands (archipelago) they inhabited was named in honor of the King of Spain and the "natives" were baptized and christened with Spanish names. Filipinos are absolutely not Japanese nor Koreans. Japanese and Koreans originated from Chinese clans at the time when the Emperor imposed that his subordinates do not allowed concubines, and each couple's allowed to have only two to 3 children. When China reached the alerted over-population of over billions of people, they must migrate to the lowlands away from the ruthless Emperor. In the 1900's when billions of people have problems with environment, source of food, housing and employment deliberately there will be consequences and that's what happened. War after war was the ultimate end solution. Brutal? Hard to believe but that was true. You can read World History and leaders around the world tried their best to stop and control war but there's no other solution that time.

In today's time, we have so many solutions. We have so many solutions and resolutions.

Do you watch "The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop?" I like the story of this Korean TV drama series because of its clean, fun, entertaining story with touch of comedy however the story gets deeper and complicated when the old man whom we think is such a noble man, a tailor by profession, well-liked by all his family, clan, friends and neighbors was actually a cheater. He went missing without informing his wife actually was cheating his wife for such a long time then having problem with his vision, his life was full of baloney. No matter how much he explained his cheating heart it always end up a side that it's unforgiven. Only then leaves a mark that when your husband disappeared without a trace you know that man is cheating and doing something that is forbidden. Vision loss is another stupid move of that con man. Fishy, fishy! What else? The story that is just ordinary and clean fun becomes complicated and problematic when the "suit" made by Bae went missing and was replaced with another suit. Then the Gipyo case giving his kidney to the recipient just because he want his love reciprocated. Gipyo was jailed because of a case they have to crack involving Hyosang's deceitful business dealings. The relationship between Bae and Bok, Bae feeling like he is always force to do his homework seems unnatural of a man probably been a homo while he was in the orphanage at a young age. Wow! Blunt? Too blunt? Can you recognize the tell-tale signs? The nonsense relationship of the divorcee (divorced twice Dongsuk) and the trot singer. The only story that's worth watching is the "puppy love" of childish Hyowon and Taeyang becomes the fortunate person enamored by a rich heiress. Gentlemen is not the right word or right title for this drama-comedy series. They are not innocent either the way they are to prove that their roles or part in the story turn around.  They are "Twisters of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop."
They are great actors and actresses able to give true effort in playing their roles despite of the negativity of the characters they are assigned to portray. Oh my! Korean drama!!!!!!!!! How many are addicted to Koreans and their drama? Are they really Koreans?

MY OPINION:

It's just a very long movie that we end up being annoyed and hope that it ends in a happy ending and correct must be corrected after all nobody's perfect. Humans are not perfect and if we expect perfections from imperfect people then we are  bound to be disappointed.

Elimination of Fear

It's year 2017 and historians based their history from year 1917. Rather it was used as basis or pattern of events. Or I am the only one who based history from the past, what happened in the past had something to do with what will happen in the future. Curiosity or what, I was really curious that when something's fishy...I tend to seek knowledge from the past and what happened in the past century after century and what was the climate and calendar events in the past. You wont believe that there's not much difference to what happened in the year 1917 to year 2017.

Don't look back. What happened in the past wont happen this year and in the next year although it's better to know what will happen in the future by being "ready and alert."

I happened to re-read my other blogs in the past. In one of those blogs, I blogged about wildfire in the interior of B.C. and California. It was an uncontrollable wildfire causing so much forest devastation and caused so much homeless people driven away from the regions of fire. Nobody dies. Because if its really a sudden holocaust wildfire then probably thousands of people are dead. Perhaps millions are dead. Better to be alive not dead!


With year after year of wildfire with only few people trying to put off the fire as if its not really a calamity worthy of red alert so I looked at Encyclopedia Brittanica to find out such area of calamity.
It turned out that "specific area of calamity" was a farmland of fruits such as oranges and olives. Uhm, they should also plant coffee beans. That the setting of controllable fire like torches of fire is needed when the weather is getting cold for the fruits to grow. The fire was actually much needed to drive away frost. Not only for such method of farming but also to keep bugs away from the orchard of fruits. Also to drive away squatters from such farm lands. Another method is "kaingin system" for crop rotation. Year after year that part of the province needs wildfire. However, news from news network never really broadcast the true sense of what the news is about as being ignorant or they don't really know. Patay malisya?

What will happen in the year 2042 to 2045? Do you think we have to be alerted because year 1942 is when the Japs occupation is the most dreaded part of World History, the unforgettable war!



You can watch cartoon shows such as those from Disney and it's gonna be duck, cover and hold.
Cartoon or animated shows pertaining to wildfire is much needed, concerns much of those educated children and my daughter just laughed at those stories. Darn those pokemons.

Basic Instinct

Do you have INSTINCTS? Or just basic instinct about phenomenon, phenomena or simply put it this way having animal instinct that some  things are not in conformity with the natural sense of normalcy. Nothing in this world is perfectly set up for everyone to live like everything is perfect because it's not. You can make perfect things or create perfection when things are imperfect but of course it will take time and will cost a lot of capital.

Why only animals are equipped with natural instincts? Animals have sixth sense probably because their lives are always in danger and because they never talk but they know how to think and elude danger or perhaps their sixth sense is  due to their dangerous habitat where they are surrounded by wild animals willing to devour them for food and their predatory sense is also awareness to what will happen every minute of the day.

Because humans are surrounded by mostly educated, civilized human beings therefore law and order is followed and whoever doesn't follow the law and order are then segregated or separated from the rest of the population. Humans are not animals but when the humans are said to possessed characteristic and behaviour of animals they are then caged, jailed or corrected and punished  for such inappropriate behaviour. Can a civilized or highly educated individual becomes an animal? In the case of Hannibal Lecter and Ted Bundy, case hard to crack until they were caught of their crimes. Very genius. Genius predators, animalistic beings whose sense or purpose in life differentiate from the norm or normal way of life where one should follow not only the law of man but the Law of God. What made them ungodly perhaps is the brain they were born with or certain factors in their brain receptors, disorder of their RNA and DNA and maybe because they were "experimented" or part of an evil experiment just like those laboratory rats.

Scientist categorized humans as animals, higher form of animals. Probably because they had seen humans with animal characteristics and animal instincts. The difference between humans and animals are their sense of reasoning, ability to talk and think rationally and purposely, eating edible food intended for humans not for animals. When you think that humans are animals then be prepared to be eaten alive.

Humans tend to educate themselves and think for themselves, and most of all humans have good characteristics, good manners and etiquette  and godly image that differentiate them from animals. The higher form of humans tend not to compete with other humans and are happy with who they are. The higher form of humans seek happiness, self-reliance and realization and self-actualization is a matter of age and destiny. For once, Albert Einstein the physicist and Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt have that very distinguished, distinctive character that which uplift their sense of humanity. They don't seek attention but the public always are after them because of their intellectual abilities and intelligence even if they are no longer present in our time and generation, their humanitarian expertise had flourished and still accepted in today's world as a doctrine to humanities.

Is there a double standard in fame and popularity or because they are who they are and born with the silver spoon and whether they like it or not they are always part of the global world and that the reason why they can no longer hide?

How about insects? You know with insects , no matter how small they are, they know where the source of food. Most of the insects can fly and have antennaes so it's easy for them to find food. Their noses have  receptors to all kinds of odor and they know  where they can survive, live and secure their own safety.

Passion for Photography

 I love photography! It really makes my day rather than rant to my heart's desire. Not all people can say the right words or write an explicit perfect words but when it comes to  shooting pictures or photos aiming the focus of my digital camera to certain object then there's no right words or any perfect pitch to say, just shoot at the right time and and aim, shoot before that thing flew away.

I don't know how those photographers can shoot so many flying creatures at perfect angles. Maybe they shoot so many thousands of  photographs and just collect their best shots to show.

 It also has something to do with zoom lens. Depends on what brand of digital camera and right angle and proper light.

I snapped photographs because I like what I can see with my own eyes, my vision and then shoot it using my camera. The above photos are snapped with Sony digital camera.

This photo of pink roses are product of my Canon digital camera. Can you spot the difference by just looking at the images whether the camera used for photography is Canon or Sony?

Holy Beans!

A visit to our small garden at the backyard.

It wont be that long when all these bean plants will occupy the whole garden.

My husband planted 50 big seeds from the bean bag collection from way back year 2012 from Greystone Garden and only few of those seedlings had sprouted. I wonder why.

The swiss chards are growing slowly, only few of them appeared to be healthy and growing naturally.

And only 3 tomato plants are alive and growing slowly.

Slow and steady...

 How about something fast and furious... and the network setting of our TV and computer have changed dramatically. Obviously, are you hacking my computer? VERY OBVIOUS!

 LIFE the movie. What's cooking in this movie? OMG! What kind of creature they are to eliminate after the astronauts treated the alien life form like a baby. From being a single cell like a euglena to being a walking, flying trapeze like gelatine. Ahahaha! Obviously it's not funny when the story unfolds. I'm laughing and annoyed because you know the story is similar to my novelette "Cracker Jack Lobsters."

 My daughter and I thought the alien creature was a character in Pokémon saga but it's not. We guessed it was venusaurus or stegosaurus but it's not. Looks like a baby octopus with a strong mighty grip with everything that it holds and touches. Its tenacity to the ISS (International Space Station) is something to behold with. The fuel's gone within the station, the astronauts had been strucked and slaughtered by this incredible alien and when it felt the arctic cold of the space station the alien grabbed the flashlight to warm itself. Wow! is that cute or being a menace?

The alien creature is just like this bean plant on how it holds the sticks. The strong tendrils tighten up like nylon rope with such a mysterious string-attached.

The bean plants are not alien creature, human beings love and eat them for food. My husband has added singles of liquid fertilizer to keep them growing incessantly and keep them stronger and healthy. After all they will be the source of our vegetables for lunch and dinner.

Extraordinary Day

My husband and I are too busy today. Lorne started his pressure washing of our rented  house (exterior part)  using the industrial pressure washer,  and he also pressure washed the concrete ground. It's a must. It's a preliminary task before he can paint the exterior part of the house.

While he was busy with his job outside, I was busy taking/snapping photographs of him and then attends to my baking of blueberry-banana cake, deep frying of shrimps, and making fresh potato salad and garden salad. Of course have to cook special pancit noodles with vermicelli and taipan-style noodles (chow mein). Gather fresh strawberry fruits from the garden outside and garnished them on top of the birthday cake, have some fresh cherries too.

Not Your Ordinary Flowers

Let's return to my place, at our garden. The above picture of a lovely flower once graced our garden in Greystone and what a surprise the former tenant who once lived here before in this new house planted this unique flower named after a devil. The true name of this brilliant coloured red-orange flower is... hold your breath... it's "Crocosmia curtonous Lucifer."

What a name! No wonder why Fred the cat likes being there at the garden. Who wont be? The plant offers shady shelter for the cat during hot weather days.

Whew! Wishing summer time is over!

 At the backyard: Lushy green forest at this time of the year.

The morning glory is in full bloom and it's cooler in this part of the yard.

The berries are blooming radiantly too with its dainty white flowers. It's nice to see more flowers because they  uplift moody depressed people and brighten up sick people. These flowers are not the kind of flowers you probably want to see but hey, they are free. Wildflowers from the forest add sense of happiness to weary minds. OMG! Cheer up people. I hate listening to very depressing bad stories and bad news!

Interior B.C.

 In search of old photos from my file folder of me and my husband's journey from Prince Rupert to the island of Vancouver and I found these old ones. The photo was taken in 1992 and I used an old manual camera (not digital camera) with a film tube, was developed in dark room at the photo lab in P.R.


The photo above is a landscape somewhere in Cache Creek. It was desert hot in that part of the world and it is hot at this point in time and date. Picturesque view, I know that's why I snapped  photos to show you.

This region should grow olives and other desert vegetation you know those trees that will survive in hot, dry humid climate.

 

 I can't let stand by without shooting a photo with the running locomotive or train with precious cargo of goods: mostly grain maybe (wheat, barley, oats and live stocks, etc)

Is the same panoramic view in 1992 still the same today in year 2017?

I think it's the same formation of mountains, valleys and hills with few additional housing facilities, more trees and more fresh vegetation and of course the population has increased dramatically and business establishments increased due to many million commuters frequently passing the highways of British Columbia to upper part of Alaska or from BC to Alberta and from America (Seattle, California USA to BC.) British Columbia is the longest land bridges used by Canadians and Americans to drive through so that these people can reach  their area of destination.

It's nice to see housing facilities in area where no one has ever lived before. I mean it's good to see people in a region where 25-24 years ago I see no one walks, nothing to see but bald mountains and poor vegetation. It's good to see life breathing in this place.

The Meal, The News, The Dessert

Sometimes, it's nice knowing when the husband offered to be the chef at home, thereby I get to do other things like cleaning the kitchen, cleaning the pots and pans and utensils which I usually do anyways.

Thanks for this wonderful dinner of pan-fried tender pork loins simmered on special wine, steamed  fresh noodle pasta (no-eggyolk pasta) and steamed peas.

Nothing much to report here except that the non-stop ravishing wildfires in the interior of B.C. is overwhelming.

What if there is that wildfire here at the island what will you do? Is that a good question? First what is the population of  the island if that crisis happened to us here? What will you do? With the population of certain city or town in thousands, one bucket per person can put off the fire. We have enough firefighters and volunteers who can handle such fire. The island is surrounded by water so per bucket of water to put off the fire is of great help. Every house has at least one or two water hoses attached to their water tap so to put off fire is probably easy.

People and water and availability of sand can put off fire. However when a place is abandoned there's nothing that they can do to stop the fire. Environment and or the site of such crisis is a factor whether to abandon such hazards. A desertland is something that you have to give up whether your livelihood would be wasted or not. No one should live in a desert anyway.

What's for my dessert? I had a vanilla ice cream and that's good enough for now.

Is Your Vision Okay?

Nobody understands what you are saying, thinking or your opinion matters now but when the right time comes and when you are the same age like your own mother or same age with your father you'll realized that what matter the most in life is BE GOOD TO YOURSELF! PAY ATTENTION. Don't think like you are a smart ass. It takes time and right age to do something good? Why wait when you can do something good now?

You only have one life to live so make the most of it wisely. STOP arguing with old people they have more knowledge and more experience than you have.

Let me tell you, I argued with my Grandmother about so many things including the televisions. First the television or TV. In the 70's, not too many people have TV in their homes. The only people who owns TV are the super rich in my country of origin. In 1972, the only home with television set is our neighbor who was the barangay captain. In a barangay with hundreds to thousands of population only one family with television set? That's absurd right? It's hard to believe because nowadays, how many TV sets in your own home? We have 5 TV sets before, discarded two TV sets and now we only have 3 flat screen TV and we don't use the other one, so only two flat screen TV sets are being used actively. But when nobody's watching better off the TV and save electricity.

My Grandmother doesn't like TV because she told us that it will interfere with our education. I convinced her that it will enhance my education, rather I will study harder and I will do the household chores and I will help her with the chores at home. She knew all about televisions. They had TV before. Her mind is probably advance or our old ancestors or elders were actually knowledgeable about modern technology. Look at Einstein. Einstein and his men of Science knew about science and physics better than the humans we have here now. They knew the science about microwaves and what the sustainability of planet earth. But we never listen to the old people, I mean you people never listen to old people.

When old people tell you something you must pay attention, listen to their advice. They knew better. They passed those hurdles before. Too many mind boggling obstacles they've passed. They knew it all along because those things happened to them. There's nothing wrong with listening and nothing wrong with old wise sayings. You don't need to see another Einstein to make things right.

Darn microwaves! Now what we have? Internet! Computers are brighter than TV!! Really? There are more magnets on computer so your eyes are glued to your computer screen and cellphones. Now, I'm becoming like my grandmother. Why don't you people just stare at flashlights.

The Lonely Visitor

 His name is Fred. Our visitor who frequently visits us on "godly hour." LOL. That's funny. J/K and his name is Fred... really? I don't know why he likes our home and our garden. What's wrong with you Fred? Where are you from?

Oh, I know, my husband likes petting somebody else's pet you know. If I know he likes to adopt you. Well, if that's only the neighbor allows it. The neighbor who owned you  probably doesn't know you are here at our porch.

Do you know if our fridge is full of food? You probably have sharp sense of smell then. Sad to say, we don't have that "temptations treat" for you. We have safe drinking water.

Because the entrance door is open, Fred gets in and stayed on the living room carpet. I noticed that Fred really likes the carpet.

We let Fred stayed there as long he wants. Sometimes he makes gesture he wants to be scratched or petted. Weird eh? But that's the natural, normal way how cat behaves. Cat knows where they can be spoiled and treated like babies. I don't have the comb or hairbrush for you Fred.

Fred needs a themesong, he thinks he's too sexy. I think you need a catwalk.

Then later on, I heard my son called Fred as Freddy Krueger. Darn! That's hot! Bye Freddy! See 'ya later! GO HOME FREDDY!

By the way, wildfire is being put off within 100 Mile House, in Sooke area, part of Kamloops and several parts of the interior B.C. Don't know yet the cause of such wildfires ravishing the interior forest of British Columbia. Watch TV News to see and hear  the latest news. It's really hot, super hot and you know mercury rising that evacuation process is being alarmed once again on affected areas.
