WHAT'S UP FOR TODAY?

 How BILLIONAIRES earned billions of money? Well without a doubt, if they have millions of people willing to just work without pay then what can you do? Blogwriters for BLOGGER are not paid. It is the blogwriter who pays for their visibility here in the internet. That's why so many of us are sick or with debilitating illness and ailments because as you probably know computer or any electronic gadgets emit radiation. Duh!

Remember at one time, Google & Facebook were asked by Canadian Government to pay. I don't know what happened to that case. It's probably become "another one bites the dust." Somebody called it the "Dust Cloud Theory."

What are those workers through the internet without pay? Can they be called robots or AI? Dude, they have souls, spirits and conscience! Billionaires called them AI Robots so that they don't have to pay. How smart of them right? Ha ha ha!

I'm glad that the famous singer Billie Eilish been helping the needy and made remarks about billionaires who are not helpful or just that they only help the wealthy. Why help people who are already rich? That's stupidity. Anyway, graft and corruption was so rampant nowadays. One day they will wake and all electronics wont function anymore. Would that happen? Like worldwide Power Outage? When that happened? I think that happened sometime during World War II. The only thing that functioned was battery operated radio. Thing of the past. And TV anchors, hosts and news reporters were laughing like hyenas. Yeah what happened to TV when only radio will function? Well they are advance in newscasting a situation that never happen yet as in fabricating news & they are good at that. They create bad news and info wherein their poor actors will create the drama. Prediction? DO NO HARM. Just report news that are real and true! STOP fabrication of news and stop lying 'cuz your noses will grow bigger than the elephant's trunk. 

TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH? They should end that baseball game tonight. There are too many games and too many races. Be conscientious that not too many people can afford the tickets and if they can afford probably using their money intended for Thanksgiving & Christmas. People wasting on expensive tickets and end up without food on their family's table. Too many people had become gamblers because of these long playing games. 67? darn. For Good? End the game to night! No need to keep it longer than 18 innings. That's counted as 2 games in one day.

BLOGGER & BLOGGING

It's foggy today at 6 Celsius but at least it is not raining and dogs still can play outside. Life goes on whether we like it or not! October 30, 2025 and tomorrow is 31st  and its Halloween. I dare not to wear costume. My children who are already in their 30's wont wear either. Halloween is so exciting but buying costumes that's additional expenses for us. When my 3 children were in Elementary & High School buying costumes cost about $150 budget including taxes for that one day celebration then include the treats of candies and chocolates for 150 kids doing the trick or treat knocking at door cost about $100 (candies, chocolates & pkg. of chips) Treats are costly! However, there are families who still support this yearly tradition and it's okay. Nobody's stopping them from having fun day and if is not from home to home, it is at schools and variety of clubs and organizations where kids and adults joined together for this one of a kind celebration.

I was asked why I have to  do artworks most of the time. Uhm, good question. To keep me busy. This blog is about artworks. Why not use my creativity to a new level? I mean there is nothing wrong with keeping busy, being creative and use my artworks for my strategy for my blogs. I mean, I am not an etymologist capturing, collecting and studying insects for analysis. I am not an archaeologist digging earth for fossils and skeletons from the Jurassic Age. I am not a tomb raider digging pyramids for its mummies. I AM A BLOGGER and there are millions of us. 💁😇

BEWARE, be very aware of pranksters, fraud, fakers, pretenders, scammers, in real life and through the internet. There will be fraudsters who will call or phone you and before you even glance you become their target! In PHILOSOPHY text book, as studied in College no medical appointments can ever be reliable through telephone call especially if you don't really know that person on the other side nor you know their voice. Anybody unseen is not to be assumed as that " person." TV News Networks always have those victims of scams who regret trusting medical appointments, bank notices, and other negotiations dealt with online and through phone. Whatever it is CAUTION. Usually the ones who is making an appointment is the person who needs it. Where in the world that a doctor would ask for an appointment from you. Hmm... sounds like a prank or scam eh?

CAT's Cradle or GrandFALLoon? Who knows right? Should you ask Kurt Vonnegut about it? lol. Sports and games nowadays are sort of part experimental... I think. It could mess up your mind cuz it's mental and psychological.

Last night, CBC News Network featured those fanatic fans of Toronto Blue Jays on how they feel about the game and record their blood pressure. Sure does it affect your health. All the excitement, the stress and the pressures of the games could lead you to stroke or heart attack so be careful.

Anyway, that long 6 hours game between LA Dodgers & Toronto Blue Jays last Monday night in Los Angeles, California was uncalled for, 18 Innings. It never happened before, usually is, baseball game is only about 3 hours long and you should ask why. In that game, precious baseball player George Springer had an injury and had an MRI. Everybody's exhausted, tired and over fatigued. Then the next game happened lat night. TORONTO BLUE JAYS won this time. TBJ = 2 wins    LAD = 2 wins (Game 1 to 4). More games to follow in California for its last day and then back to Toronto.

Whatever the outcome, just pray that this baseball game is clean and in order for there is the golden rule to be followed in the name of Sports & Games.

IT IS SIMILAR TO WAR GAMES

 Why there is always the "drama" being unfold anywhere, everywhere as if it is necessary. lol. Not that we want the dramatic effect just like in the sports and games being watched nationwide on TV. The additional conflict about politics getting into the sports that some people used to watch that's absolutely the barrier to anything possible. I don't know who to blame. 

I remember when I was in University our Economics professor had given our test papers back to our hands, appropriately checked and had corresponding percentage. I passed the exam and then he stood at the front of my seatmate who was the University varsity player and our professor made some comments, he didn't mention the name of my classmate but he said that he can score high enough in his games to win but he must apply it too in his class. Academics is more important in Philippines in my time than sports or any kind of games. Now, in this generation people praised the sports athletes more than those who are educated because it has something to do with high falutin salary and wages and all the great abundance of benefits and financial rewards to include popularity.

Where in the world that a baseball player is worth $700 Million for its contract to play for one company as if he owns the whole franchise already. How much money he could afford to win the game? Anyway, maybe it was just pure luck or bad propaganda and bad political strategy tries to backfire and is affecting the whole game on both sides. Maybe there is that bad deal that goes with it ... whatever it is and that fizzled things out and it's no longer in effect.

What could happen if TBJ won the 2025 World Series? What if LAD won the World Series again? What are the secret deals behind if one of the team wins? Maybe it is better not to win?

Remind me of the movie WAR GAMES. Watch for it if you haven't watch it yet. What the machine says about the game?

TALAMASCA: The Secret Order

 TALAMASCA: Secret Order. From the famous novel of Anne Rice (Author of INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE). Two episodes for the premiere of 6th episodes TALAMASCA sure is a suspense thriller. Story of newly LAW University Grad GUY ANATOLE who was searching for a job and while in a closed door interview he heard murmurs, he can read other people's thoughts. He aced the interview but he discovered where the real murmur sounds came from. He met Helen (Elizabeth McGovern) and asked him to work for the Talamasca. He doesn't believe what she is saying and the works of the Talamasca but after meeting a century old man (not really old) but because he is a vampire then he showed his true colors to believe him. From then on Guy met other strangers and want to find his true mother because turned out he was an "orphan" and was "raised secretly" by  the Talamasca, a Secret Order or Organization in return he has to work for them. Four more episodes to go at AMC Channel, every Sunday at 6pm. 

 

I don't know why this TV Series is only six episodes. Actor/Writer NICHOLAS DENTON portrays Guy Anatole for TALAMASCA. He's a look-alike, cross between actors Warren Beatty & Tom Welling.

 Oh darn! The Dodgers defeated TBJ 5-1 on Game 2 World Series 2025. Dodgers won already last year right and "won already many times before" during when they have famous Justin Turner in their team. Ohtani was never heard before. That means it is not really Ohtani that made LA Dodgers famous. However, there was this story of Toronto Blue Jays offered Ohtani to play for Blue Jays but Ohtani turned down the offer because LA Dodgers offered him more $$$$$$$$$ financial rewards. Justin Turner was offered for "one year contract" to play for T Blue Jays. Why? 

Ah, just that for IT. Infotech.

BLUE JAYS had won in 1992, 1993 WORLD SERIES and they should win the 1994 WORLD SERIES too but something went wrong that year, don't know why. 

THE SPOILED BRATS!?

 

Lorne and the "spoiled kids" on his recliner. For whatever reason the two puppies always want to be in his chair most of the time, there is always rivalry going on. Echo is faster and can jump up to her special place with Lorne but Raven doesn't know yet how to jump up (she can jump down from the chairs only). 

Sometimes, Raven will just sit at the corner or pretend to sleep on the carpet or floor and wait if Lorne will pick her up. lol. She's such a raggedy muffin with her hair hanging from her nose covering her eyes. I tried to ponytailed her hair but she doesn't like it. 

Echo & Raven have different personality. When it comes to feeding them... Echo is the spoiled brat, you have to feed her by hand and she is that fuzzy. Raven likes all kinds of food that's why she's now the same size of Echo. Echo is 3 years old and Raven is 5 months old. Both of them want attention and because Raven is younger, she is more playful and energetic.

The good thing about these cute pets? They made us happy and entertained us in so many fun ways. Our days  not complete without them. They are not really spoiled brats. They are just VIP. Very Important Pets. 💁😃

HALLOWEEN Memories

 

Halloween is such a huge event here in Canada. As I noticed that some yards out there were already adorned with Halloween decors since early September. That there are plantations just exclusively for pumpkins. Of course the farmers were into those Pumpkin festivals and going gaga for the most coveted prize for the biggest pumpkin ever. How big are the pumpkins this year? How much fertilizer they used to grow such humongous prized pumpkin. What is the secret to growing giant pumpkin? Any idea?

I was sorting out clothes from the closet and from those plastic boxes wanting to know if the Halloween costumes were still inside or husband had them thrown away or dumped at the thrift shop. I found only few of them. I don't know where the rest of the costumes, maybe they were really thrown away. lol. 

Lo  asked me if I will wear a costume at "work." Ngek! I don't think so. If there's a Halloween party I might but not a chance. 

Halloween as always great for kids. For the old people? Hmm...

Chinese & Japanese Art's "subject" almost similar when it comes to fashion, clothing and accessories. Japanese are more prone to reds while Chinese vary from reds to orange and yellow colored clothing. I think both ethnic races used red envelopes. lol Both of them would rather be side by side with the bamboo trees, cherry blossom trees or wisteria or right there beside the pond with Lotus flowers, lily pads and or swimming school of gold fishes. 

Most Chinese art had their monks or Buddha under a sacred tree or praying in a sitting position just like what I had them in these images on my blog.

CONCEPT

 CONGRATS TORONTO BLUE JAYS! TBJ has defeated the Seattle Mariners last night and now advanced to WORLD SERIES > to battle the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday. My oh my! Liquors poured down a plenty in Roger's Dungeon. lol. Don't drink too much Blue Jays...not good for you.

Maxine and I passed by downtown area and saw the workers of BC liquor still on strike. They are part of the BCGEU. It's almost 2 months!! Or more than 2 months? How long their strike would be?

I wonder when was the longest strike that happened, was it during the Millennium? Remember the Y2K? When Microsoft had replaced Windows 98? Former US Pres. Bush was so pissed because, well how much the budget to replace the whole Government with band new computers and all the comprehensive valuable data that the Government owned? It is a mind boggling magnanimous structural task and its monumental financial burden that goes with it, plus the security features and it strength. Then what happened? Year 2001? HISTORY, History as it happened.

What about here in Canada? You know I am a very concerned resident of BC. I protect my home and my family and the people around me. I hope the Government of Canada protect us all from those wicked humans who are harming the economy, and security of this country. Protect us from scammers fraudsters and criminals. 

Now what is there to post for today? I know so many of the blog writers had posted so many things in their blogs. Some are just repetition, some are bugs and critters, some of them even posted their own toilet bowls! What effing craft is that? LOL. Sorry. That's when there is nothing more of a subject to tackle with.

I should be posting photos of what the Autumn scenery here in Canada esp. in BC but my digital camera is not that good anymore. It's ok, too many Canadian bloggers who posted Autumn foliage and beautiful scenery. The task now is posting something different.

Allow me to post one of my artworks instead. Doing this kind of sketch makes me wonder of interactive video game. Step by step method of gaining points for stuff that you can accumulate until you reach the top and get your grand prize but with the barriers and hindrance in every step. It's more like obstacles every step of the way and what you can create from obtaining those stuffs.

It is a concept with a method of gaining access and success to reach the point.

WHAT'S NEXT?

 It was the SWEETEST DAY yesterday! Husband baked Apple Crumble, thank goodness is not too sweet. I cannot eat something that is so sweet. I don't know why maybe "just right kind of not too sweet, not too sour is just right." I think yesterday is such a lucky day for Canadians because Toronto Blue Jays won against Mariners. However, another game to finish everything so that they can battle with the Dodgers. Very long games, you wished everything is over!

So... the NO KINGS PROTEST had just happened in the USA & also in Canada. What about NO QUEENS? LOL. Did you know that the prized Crown jewels in France were stolen from Louvre Museum? How could the thieves able to get in through maximum security? Is that almost like a movie?

Have you seen movies such as CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON? How about HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS? There are two of my favourite Chinese movies wherein the lead character was the famous highly skilled Zhang Ziyi. Love the fight scenes: When Jen was attacked while having a cup of tea and the restaurant, the whole building was destroyed because of the fight scenes. In House of Flying Daggers, the fight scenes in the bamboo plantation is amazing!

Then there was another movie we watched, a Korean drama movie PARASITE. OMG! It's sub-titled. Why is it that they have to have movies titled in English only to be sub-titled, why not just dubbed? The story was unbelievable. But you know how Koreans had their stories very compelling, almost true accounts of daily happenings in a rich-poor standard of living. If you are a fanatic viewer of the famous television series THE GOOD DOCTOR played by Freddie Highmore, those Korean stories medical cases and diagnosis were deemed so real and surreal. Parasite movie is so tragic. Weirdos are everywhere you know not only in Korea.

Look at Raven, She's that chubby, energetic,playful puppy and when she's happy she bites. She bit my husband's ear. That's how happy she is. She sometimes bit him on his hand as part of her being playful. It wont be that much of a bite but those bites bleed. Hubby is on blood thinner that those bites kind of affected him. She bit me too but I was able to get rid of her fangs before she could sink her fangs because I'm faster with my defense  and maybe she bit  Zoey & Echo too when she is that playful. She's teething that little vampire is playing a vamp!!  It's okay she had been vaccinated of anti-rabies and applied antibiotic on those bite marks she gave to my hubby.

It's only 8 degrees Celsius today. Don't know if it will rise up today as you know it 's already Autumn and other provinces of Canada had already been recipient of snow. Well, we can only pray that snow should only fall or stay on top of the mountains.

SATURDAY HAPPENINGS

 I'm thinking of baking today and opened the pantry, to my dismay there's only 3 cups of flour left from the big bag of flour. Then there's not enough butter. Darn it! I have about half bag full of frozen blueberries, fresh carrots, dry cranberries and enough gallon of milk. What should I do? 

I decided not to bake today. I will wait for the next run to the supermarket because I would rather have zucchini instead of cranberry. Or wait for Lorne to bake another apple crumble instead.

We had buttered croissant, Tim Horton's coffee for breakfast. Lunch: left over chicken/pork/veg curry + rice. Dinner would be panfried tilapia and fried milkfish (marinated), steamed asparagus with mayo + steamed jazmine rice.

Tomorrow's meal would be Italian Penne Rigate with beef and Catelli sauce- with parmesan and romano cheeze sauce. I love Italian cuisines and its because it is easy to cook. You just boil the pasta on hot boiling water until its cooked then add the rich and creamy sauce. You can make your own sauce from scratch actually but it is economically cheaper to buy the sauce in bottles or cans.

It's raining outside at 9 degrees Celsius. Because of this bad weather, the dogs don't really like getting wet and don't like playing. They would rather be conveniently seated at the couch watching TV or just sitting comfortably like babies. They both are wearing their cute clothes.  Echo gets upset and growls at Raven every time Raven had her nose on her new toy - orange chicken with a chirping sound. They usually fight over it. Echo would sit on the chicken like as if she's the mother hen hatching on it, but maybe trying to hide it from Raven. They were on and on in constant growling and crying. OMG! They are like toddlers having sibling rivalry. You know what my children didn't have this kind of rivalry when they were young. It is okay. This is something new.

We decide to watch a movie SURVIVE. It is a science fiction movie: story of a family who were aboard their yacht out in the middle of the ocean when suddenly something weird from the sky started falling (looks like meteorites). The debris had fallen  closer to where their boats are. They were petrified screaming like hell, got dizzy, vomited and had nosebleeds, they passed out and when they woke up they were still aboard their yacht, broken and in the middle of the wasteland. Well, you have to watch it for yourself and lean on your understanding what really happened. 

Did you know, Alberta was once a vast ocean million years ago? That part of the Drumheller where the scientists had uncovered ancient fossils and discovered those dinosaurs once roamed the Earth was an OCEAN.

Hmm, wonder what happened with the NO KINGS PROTEST in the US. I'd better watch news from our TV. NO KINGS in the USA? There was once  a King Kamehameha in Hawaii, USA. When you say NO KINGS did you mean the plural Kings with the s in it? Trump is not a king and wont ever be. He wont be an Emperor for he is not from Royalty nor from any member of the Royal Family in Europe. Nada. I think the protest/rally should be NO NAZI should rule USA. World War II Americans &Veterans fought the NAZI & Hitler don't let it happen again.

SOMETHING WEIRD HAPPENED

Sometimes wishing I'm a fairy godmother that can grant certain wishes for good kids. However I am not a fairy... sad to say... sorry!

CAN ADA  Did you know that the word "Ada" is a fairy? Maybe Canada is the land of fairies long, long time ago. Canada has the largest forest in the world and fairies live in the forest. Well haven't seen one yet. Civilization has evolved so fast and fiercely that those forest fairies had vanished. Just like angels which were ever present during at the dawn of civilization as stated in the Old Testament (HOLY BIBLE) to never seen again. However, they are visible only in dreams. 

Just right now, something weird happened. I think the hackers are hacking my computer. Wait a second.
OMG! Darn it, would you believe suddenly my computer screen has changed. The background screenshot has been replaced with a  photo of food.  What the heck! 

That's what it is folks. There are pranksters and hackers in the real world not only through computers and internet. Did you know with all the protest/rally and all the strikes out there, you as a worker should be very aware that you have to be on guard with your identity, with your social security number and other documents. Those government strikes by workers... I hope the GOVERNMENT OF CANADA are guarding our files and documents or else. How many times were CRA had been hacked? How many  times computer data were hacked in hospitals and banks and certain government facilities? So many times. What hackers are up to? 

Just yesterday got a phone call from somebody I don't know. She told me her name but I don't really know her. I think she worked for a Transpo business but don't really know for sure because it's thr. the phone, not seeing her actually and haven't met her. This is one of those "unseen" yet somehow you have to believe if its for the good cause and it is for humanity. As you probably know there are too much scams out there. How many phone scams out there anyway. Way, way too many. I have friends who were frequently been scammed. I think those scammers are after old people and people with disability. Aren't we all are fragile because we are old?

Yes, you wished there are true, real angels and fairies  on Earth and they protect you safe from harm.

HALLOWEEN IS FAST APPROACHING

 A cousin of mine was preaching about the bad news regarding HALLOWEEN as not to be celebrated because its demonic or something. Or if ever do not let your kids wear those evil creatures costume, dracula, vampires, goblins, trump, witches and all. Really? It is just a costume! She is very religious that's why. She usually wears the costume of a "nun."  J/K Anyway, just wear costumes such as angels, saint, the "Holy creatures" and all the victorious heroes of Marvel comics that you read from comics and watched in movies. 

Know what? There are GOOD WITCHES you know. 

 

Not all witches are bad and not all witches are ugly. 

THE WITCHES here are just merely drawings and they are cute and beautiful.

Only few days from now is the celebration of HALLOWEEN in schools, parks, and in community centre. Fun day for kids and adults who would like to wear heroes' costumes, spooky and scary costumes, it is up to them or for their parents to decide what's best for their kids.

WE CANNOT LIVE WITH JUST FRUITS, WE NEED BREAD

 

I always pictured myself picking fruits such as peaches, apples, oranges, cherries, pears, mangoes all kind of fruits. Its because we don't really visit an orchard or fruit plantation have that kind of feeling in my drawings instead. The image above has mother and daughter carrying  baskets of fresh peaches from the peach tree, the squirrels have their own peaches too in a field of blue bonnets. Blonde haired woman and girl? Well its because they dyed their hair blonde with peaches. Peaches are not just fruits. You can make use of it as juice, for pies, bread, cake, candies, ice cream, perfume, soap, shampoo, food coloring, and hair dye. Perfume or fragrance? AVON & Yves Rocher already had them for their perfumery.

 How about golden harvest of rice? Yeah, why not! We like having steamed rice on our everyday diet especially the Asian people. Carbohydrates good for you. You cannot live by fruits alone. We all need bread of some kind.

 

 

WHAT'S NEXT?

 I have a doctor's appointment today, few hours from now before my "work" at the clinic. Waiting takes forever since at the time of the booking by my "GPS." The result of the bloodwork was since February 2025. All I need to do is just listen at what those "codes mean or what for my health" It's already October 2025 and how many blood works had been done and all result are favorable for my condition. I don't have to worry  actually but what makes me worry is the long waiting from the specialist.

The codes from the February result? It's scientific almost like Sorority Fraternity codes! What the hell. lol. OMG! Are they playing games on me? Is health care a source for GAMES for the politicians? Who are the victims then?

HALLOWEEN is fast approaching you know. What mask you'll wear? Are you really to wear costumes?

Workers on Strike in Canada and Raccoons on strike too? Except for one anime...

Diabetes? I don't have diabetes. I am not into sweets. I don't even put sugar in my coffee. I don't eat chocolates or seldom I eat ice cream or cakes or sugary beverage. A glass of juice usually has six ice cubes and that's almost watery. 

Am I anemic? Maybe before but I know if I'm anemic when I feel dizzy but when I was diagnosed with anemia... 2 years ago I don't have those symptoms. Sometimes better to listen to the patient than listening to the whoever 3rd person. Duh! What made me vomit those times was when I "smelled|" something awful. It has something with my sense of smell. It has something to do with the water at our water tap. Then we found out that the hot water tank was expired since we moved in to this townhouse.

ANXIETY is part of the normal human lives now. No anxiety? You could be a robot or AI. It is not all about health woes but at what's happening day to day and the News Networks helped in the propagation of all bad news out there that's why their advertisements are mostly pharmaceutical products. That's right news journalists are also medical representatives now. Not funny at all. 

I was a pharmaceutical promo associate (Medical Representative) before and we promote our pharma products to doctors. Doctors prescribed the products. What is being aired and promote on TV? Not much because sometimes word of mouth from true real patients matter not from actors.

THE LONG WAITING IN HEALTH CARE is quite dramatic and keeping a toll, stress and pressures on Canadians and residents of Canada. How many patients should doctors should have? When they can no longer remember their names and their health cases? When they can mix up their names and their Rx prescriptions? Do you know your patient? How well do you know your patient and their medical case or diagnosis?

If you are asking me if I have anxiety? How about you? How high is your anxiety that you have to remain to be at work? Just because I have anxiety I have to seek a Psychologist. ARE YOU PSYCHO? Let me check your mental health.

Too many psychos out there so be very aware! Just listening to the news on TV and those everyday bad news you'll know SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG! Oh you don't know because you don't watch TV or listen to it. Okay. life goes on. Some people are not really affected about the situation. They don't care about anything. They are full of _______! 

NEWS as always propagating about HEALTH, nothing but health. I don't know why in the Philippines, when life is not much of convenient, weather wise and poverty still lingers every now and then, health care and worries about health is not really a subject in news networks, newspapers, as if life goes on much easier despite of its volatility. Poor people still able to smile and laugh without worries. I think here in Canada, all over the net all over the TV and Radio always talking about Health and all the worrying becomes some sort of passion and obsession. 

My parents worked in the Hospital and they are Health Care workers and I don't hear about them talking about work at home. I worked in Pharmaceutical company and health care and what's happening at work was never been a subject at home. When I was with friends the topic or subject is always about something else.  Thing of the past.

I think when people ARE GETTING OLD...  Hospitals and Clinics are always part of the "journey."

SOONER OR LATER... the snow will blanket the grounds. It's already 4 degrees Celsius temp. It will goes up but wont be as high as 20. It would be a miracle if it goes up to 20 actually.

BUDDHA & THE CONSCIENCE

 I first thought will just settle for left over turkey as in turkey sandwich, turkey soup, turkey stew with potatoes and veggies  but hubby cooked pork sinigang instead. Wow! He knows how to cook that Filipino viand already with ease. So  ok lang. I had just finished a bowl of hot crab/corn soup with egg. My family didn't try that superbly delicious soup. Something new for them that they wont even taste it. I'm thinking of pan fried tilapia -dipped on beaten egg with salt and pepper and bread crumbs for tonight's dinner, then steamed rice and steamed broccoli. We still have a bowl of turkey and its for Lorne to cook it or store it in the freezer.

The only thing about always having fish for dinner is its rich in protein. Seafood especially fishes are so rich in protein and that's good for you. Eating seafood wont get you fat, as matter of fact can make you thin and slim. Just meditate. Meditation helps achieve enlightenment.

GOOD NEWS! BAD NEWS!

 TODAY. What will happen today that our Thanksgiving Day is finished yesterday. lol. Well you know that whatever is left-over will be consumed at lunch and dinner. We have enough left over turkey that hubby is happy to have them until maybe on Wednesday. Lotsa left over!!

I'm happy with left-over pancit guisado or I can deep fry lumpia. Oh we have lots of eggs so I will have omelette, not a problem.

My two nieces Clarizze (Nurse) and Christina (works for Telus) together with her husband Moe and newborn baby Enzo came to see us. They brought two different types of cake chocolate & vanilla flavored icing cake. Conversation followed and picture taking etc. etc. then they have to go to catch their flight back to Edmonton. I'm happy to see them after about 5 years! Imagine we all live here in Canada and yet we seldom each other. lol. That's how big this country of Canada. 

At "work" everybody's talking about Thanksgiving dinner, the party, the family, the foods and the "weight." How much we gained from having those delicious foods. I don't even want to look at the weighing scale.  Diet next and return to being frugal.

While on TV News: Dramatic episodes unfold in Israel when 20 of the remaining live hostages were freed by Hamas and how excited and overjoyed their families who were waiting for their loved ones after 2 years of agony & suffering. While the Palestinian prisoners 1,900 of them were out from prison even if their cases were under maximum prison sentences. ? Well at least it's OVER! I hope the war is over in those hot zones! The World Leaders gathered in Egypt for the Peace Summit and Pres. Trump wants the world leaders to contribute and fund the rebuilding of Gaza. ? Who destroyed it must rebuild it. You can ask GOD why. He would have the same answer.

Sure, that's good helping other people is good for the conscience and it would be better if Trump has to abolish the TARIFF once and for all so that his greatest project comes to fruition.  

EVERYBODY HAS A PROJECT. Everybody has a plan. Remind that every country's leader has first  priority: to his people and his country otherwise... your own people will revolt and the war will be on your own land. It's good that the war between Israel & Hamas is over. No more unnecessary blunt force, mass killing or genocide. Lots of foods, water and medical supply donated by different countries for the Palestinians.

REALITY... REALITY.

IN CANADA: The Government workers (BCGEU) are still on strike for more than a month now and that include the Canada Post. Teachers from Alberta are also on strike. Canada is such a large country but just like USA, there are too many unemployed and too many people are homeless. Not too many can afford the high falutin stratospheric cost of living. Too many bills to pay. Its paycheque to paycheque kind of living. Check mate! LOL Chess!! Living in Canada is not what you think it is. Yes, you can afford by  working on 3-4 jobs and die early that's the kind of life here. 

For those who cannot understand simple English should study at the ESL Session program provided free for the novice. For those who are living in Canada for more than 30 years doesn't need to pretend. Please just show your true real faces without masks. We live here without too much drama and stop to bring drama into your life. It's not easy being me.

IN THE US: Government to shutdown. Ang tagal naman! Too much drama!! Some Federal Workers would be in danger of losing their jobs. Some of them lost their jobs long, long time ago. Few of them had committed suicides already. Some of them will lose their medicaid according to the news.

SO WEIRD already. You think what's happening are just nightmares?

THANKSGIVING SUNDAY

 It is not Saturday but Sunday our Family Thanksgiving which is much better I think and because my husband Lorne would rather have it on Sunday instead of Monday an instead of Saturday. OMG! Why not? Sunday is a blessed day.

As usual, my husband's the cook whenever we have turkey. He put more stuffing: bread, celery, onions,  cranberries, sage, spices, butter, salt & pepper. 

Roast turkey with stuffing for 3 hours at 400 degrees F.

Dinner is served at 4:00 pm

THANKSGIVING

For hundred million years the Human species evolved and still continue to evolve. Know why? HUMANS are created in GOD-like manner. HUMANS ARE CREATED IN GOD'S IMAGE.  The evolution of Humans has something to do with who rule the world and it is not the animals who should. Humans are the supreme beings, the highest form  created by God to have dominion over Earth and together with other God's creations: animals and the plant kingdom. IN THE BIBLE duh. Read about it. 

THANK YOU GOD FOR YOUR INSPIRING CREATIONS. It is right to give thanks and praise to the LORD OUR GOD not only on Thanksgiving Day.

There is no such thing that  you as a human species must respect the animals because they are the source of your food. Once your mental states dictate that you have to respect the lowest form then you are then bound to have made yourself its servant. 

Uhm, now think about that again. Is there exception to the rule? I know... you love your dogs and your cats. They are your family pet and they seemed to be at ease and feel the convenience, warmth and love at your home. There is that warmth affection and mutual respect on both sides with cat and dog and human species. It is totally different from having and owning pets like dogs and cats somehow different from having those wild animals that should belong in the wilds, in the forest. Civilization has evolved and therefore no wild animals should be allowed or permitted where humans live. If its not in the forest or in the zoo where animals are kept, caged and guarded there is no reason for wild animals to be roaming around and chasing you on the streets in your town or city. 

CANADIANS will celebrate THANKSGIVING DAY earlier than Americans. For so many of us here, celebration need not be on Monday but would rather choose Saturday or Sunday because its convenient to have it on weekends. 

I'm glad nobody is strictly vegetarian in the family. Of course there will be turkey at the table and for me... happy to have stuffing for I don't really eat turkey. LOL. My husband and children love turkey so I know they will enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner. I will cook something so special for me to enjoy this yearly Holiday.

BOATING & FISHING? That was a thing of the past for my hubby of 34 years. It is too costly to go boating and fishing nowadays then catching only one fish? Darn it. Just buy fish from Superstore. We are loving the milkfish instead prep. in smoked, marinated, and fresh frozen whole milkfish for sinigang or fried. Milkfish is economically cheaper and more delicious than salmons.

October is the last month for people to go camping because of unsettling cold. Who wants to go camping in cold weather atmosphere? 

The only good thing about it is the colors of the vibrant foliage would be so great for photography and the camp fire much appreciated because it is cooler rather colder. Only 10 Celsius today.

The scenic view is also great for painting.

Autumn is when the climate has changed dramatically for many of the Canadian artists to admire and spend their skills on how to keep their hands busy with their camera, with their brush and easels, with handicrafts, and all those crafts except witchcraft.
