TGIF

I woke up to that very annoying sound from outside. I cannot figure out if that's the sound of an owl from the neighbor's chestnut tree or what kind of bird that is. I told my husband about it and he said that he heard that familiar sound too this morning and it came from a dove, from a turtle dove. ? really? I first thought the sound from an owl. Several years ago, it was the forest woodpecker waking me up at very early morning. lol. Woodpecker's loud pecking noise on the forest tree near the house where we lived in Evergreen. At least... in another community it's the barking of dogs and haunting sounds of wolves that keep them awake.

Last night, happened to watch the survivor contest entitled ALONE with $500,000 prize for the winner. There are 10 contestants in this contest and they have to stay in those small islands in Saskatchewan Lake. They are provided with tools and camera equipment to cover their entire stay for as long as they can make it to the top. Already two contestants tapped out and then two more contestants tapped out last night. After they had completed days of building their shelter and had eaten wild fowl animals and caught fish from the lake then they cannot handle some of the unforgiving minutes of loneliness, hunger, depression, and stomach pains, diarrhea and other malady. The contestants had their focus on using too much time and energy building their cabins and not enough time for hunting and fishing for food. It's being ALONE that lead them to tap out one by one. No man is an island. Anybody who can stay alone for more than a month in the wilderness without being sick, without going insane and still strong physically  and mentally capable of staying for the long process of the duration to the finish line is the winner of this contest. I don't know who'll win and hope that person deserves such huge amount of money.

I have to do some mending. Ha ha ha! Eko's duckie's need fixing.

Eko's been chewing this particular duck that is almost so worn-out have to fix it. Double stitches much needed.

Now, all his duck toys are ready for  catch and release.

Photographs & Memories

Once again, Eko is here with us again. Hey, almost everyday actually! Husband loves and adores this cute little puppy Eko.

Eko is ECHO.

She's very photogenic too! She craves the love and attention and care given with much gusto.

I think she knows that very well.

Eko loves bonding with my husband always showing her affection. Because she just lives walking distance from us, just doors away...she will be on her tip-toes when hubby was sleeping on his recliner. She will jump on his lap and then poke her paw on his nose trying to wake him up.

Hmm...wouldn't it be nice if there's a video to show how funny that scene is.

Naughty! naughty!!

She likes wearing lovely outfit for sure. It's too hot for her to wear new suits nowadays but she'll have brand new clothes when the heatwave is over. Sooner than later. Hope so...

Pretty little pup in a skyblue hat. Actually she doesn't like wearing that hat.

For her nutrition aside from Milkbones (dog treats), she likes pancit (shown on this photo below).

Pancit Canton- stir-fry Farkay noodles with vermicelli noodles, sliced pork, sliced prawns, cabbage, carrots, onions, chicken broth, soy sauce, garlic, onions,  salt and pepper spices

Eko also likes the zucchini-blueberry cake I baked yesterday.

Additional garnishings  for the pancit to make it more colorful and delicious.

I used the bigger wok for this stir-fry. My old wok which is a 12 inches in diameter compared to this new iron/steel wok measures 16 inches in diameter. This type of iron/steel wok is only available in the Philippines. This wok can last a lifetime guaranty without being rusty. The old wok (30 years old) I was using before was older than my kids so I decided better to use this brand new one.

Politics

When I first arrived here in Canada in 1992, my form of entertainment in the remote village in BC is watching TV news, television shows and series. CBC News station is the leading broadcasting news in Canada and so was CNN so I know much about the politics and economic aspect of this country. Once in a while watching programs that deal with political satire gets into me and AirFarce, Matlock became one of my favourites for added fun  of comedy. AirFarce is almost like 22 MINUTES and so as Rick Mercer Report. You wont believe how Canadian politics can be that funny and sarcastic.

The politics in Philippines is totally different from politics here in Canada. Huge difference. Well, it depends who is elected government leaders or officials actually. It's different in the sense when a leader is lawyer and well decorated soldier compared to leaders who are elected just for being activist, or a leader who once is a businessman or somebody who was a lawyer didn't even last longer than a year to become a Prime Minister because what could be the reason why. It's a parliamentary form of government. Philippines is not governed by King or Queens as it was abolished before year 1900 during the Spanish/American/Filipino war. It took the firing squad of Dr. Jose Rizal to end allegiance to the King Of Spain. Hmm, 500 years of Spanish inquisition led to independence. If you wonder if the Filipinos are the "First Nations" lead me wondering up to now. Maybe, maybe not. You can just stare at those indigenous and find that out if their faces mirror your own. Do you really have to dig, excavate  and or find out through ancestry.com? Hey, it's a milestone for the Filipinos for having reach ONE MILLION in POPULATION IN CANADA! Wow!!!!!!!!πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™πŸ™πŸ’“πŸ’•

Politics

By the way, where in the world where 102 mayoral candidates are chosen to compete ... only in Toronto, Ontario! Congratulations Mrs. OLIVIA CHOW!!!!πŸ™ŒπŸ™the new mayor of Toronto.

Olivia Chow is the wife of the late Hon. Jack Layton, NDP Leader. I like that guy. He was a very remarkable, well respected politician, unfortunately passed away at age 61 because of cancer.

Summer Delights

 BANANAS ARE FOR MONKEYS!? lol

πŸ™ˆπŸ™‰πŸ™ŠπŸ™ŒπŸ˜Ž

It's the cheapest fruit, the yellow dessert that every family has placed on their table.  But you love bananas! Why not? Banana is a delicious fruit rich in potassium.

Summer is not over, it is just starting at a fast rate that so many trees are growing its fruits in abundance.

So many ripe apples, cherries, peaches,  nectarines, pears, pineapples, watermelons, cantaloupes and other tropical fruits also are in season. The question is... are they sweet?

Much sweeter if its FRESH FROZEN blueberry- cherry - banana milkshakes.

CRAVE FOR IT!

Feelings. Nothing More Than Feelings

It's getting warm once again and I don't like that kind of weather. Well, only if my house is fully air-conditioned then maybe that's the best option especially when using computer. That's the reason why computers thrived in colder countries its because they must be stored in cooler rooms or else computers will burn out just like humans getting burnout.

Recently, there are many movies that are free for viewing on our television set and I didn't waste my time just to watch them as it co-relates with what's happening out there. Movies that deal with adventure, magic, tricks and strategy. Let me have the list of those movies to you: PRESTIGE (starring Christia Bale, Hugh Jackman, Scarlett Johansson, etc.), IRON MASK (starring Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarzenneger, etc), THE HOBBIT: Unexpected Journey (starring: Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Ian McKellar, Aidan Turner, etc), THE HOBBIT: Desolation of Smaug (starring: the original cast + Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly, Benedict Cumberbatch, etc.) They are very detailed movies, very long story, lots of actions, long dialogues for those cast of characters. Cinematography and technical aspect is absolutely fascinating, remarkable and amazing. The performances are well played to perfection.

Movies with great expectations and unexpected ending but would be outstanding if it ends with a happy ending not an exclamation !!!!!!!!... as in wtf had just happened? If the ending leaves you breathless asking for more questions you know right there a sequel is about to happen.

Humans love to entertain and humans love being entertained whether in the most bizarre way to make them happy, curious, delighted, amaze or what other feelings they have? The feeling of awe, excitement, the anxiety, the agony and defeat... the harrowing sorrow and pain and all the feelings unknown to them until there is that empathy that make them feeling human again after their fuse got haywire.

Strange & Mystifying

Would you believe it is only 14 degrees Celsius today? How's that for summer? What if it is really an early autumn season already? Actually, according to the news on TV,  it snowed in Alberta!!! Wow! That's shocking! After the wildfires and smoky hazy fit that caused some humans suffered nosebleeding then sudden snow blanketed their grounds. Strange weather we have in Canada as the world turns and spins faster than it should be.

Daylights longer than nightime...usually is at summer. However, the colder season at summer is helping put off rather control wildfires at the interior of BC and Alberta. If you can control the climate then that's a good thing.

A lot of tragic news aired on TV Networks and it is very depressing. Tragedy that happened mostly road accidents and in group as if it has something to warn us about of something called "rapture." Then recently the tragic news about 5 passengers aboard the TITAN experimental submersible that went missing in the Atlantic and presumed to be all dead. The Titan only has 96 hours of oxygen supply and runs out. With the latest discovery of debris from the Titan sub that experts believed there was some sort of catastrophic implosion. OMG! The weird thing about such expedition submersible is that it is built like a "coffin" because the lock was outside as in the 5 people inside are locked tightly inside that submersible while it was hauled and down to the bottom of the ocean to experience first hand the site of the Titanic wreckage. What went wrong is that submersible should only be allowed on certain length and distance not to the depths of where it is located. Weird. Yeah, we thought that the news will progress into something of a miracle but it didn't. Maybe there is that strange phenomena in that part of the Atlantic that is almost like a "Bermuda Triangle."

Anyway, there's nothing we can do about stranger things. I know so many millions to billions of humans like the suspense, the mystery and so much more...

There are moral lessons to learn from those who have the moral authority to do something good for the betterment and of service to their community that those tragedies can lead to better safety regulations and hopefully acknowledge the service of those rescue workers and first respondents.

First Day Of Summer Feels Like Autumn

First day of Summer! Would you believe that the weather temperature feels like Autumn? Hmm...maybe just for few days and it will rise up again to hot and humid summer season and hopefully without wildfire.

Finally, the  seedlings that we bought already sprung from the garden tub and the zucchini has blossomed its orange color flower.

I had just picked fresh basil and spring onion from the garden for my macaroni pasta.

In three weeks time, the zucchini is ready for harvest. Well only if the weather temperature will go up to 25 Celsius. The tomatoes had its tiny green fruits and maybe in 4 weeks those fruits are ripe enough for harvest. Maybe, maybe not.

The front yard grass showed healthy greens, surely the turf fertilizer had shown remarkable result and maybe because daily sprinkle of water helps a lot too, of course. Weekly trimming of turf grass a necessity grateful that hubby's 8 year old tractor is still a reliable machine.

Husband's happy that Toronto Blue Jays won today against Miami. But sadly, Canadian tennis player Shapovalov was defeated by A. Zverev (from Germany) in ATP Terra W. Tournament. Zverev was one of those tennis players on Top 5 rank last year before he was injured during the match between him and famous tennis player Rafael Nadal. I don't know how Denis could return on Top 10 since Alcaraz and Rune are getting to be the youngest most promising athletes in the world of tennis. Rune and Alcaraz are almost like Shaolin warriors, well disciplined, strong, humble and witty. Shapovalov should keep his focus on the game and if ever should learn the way of the Shaolin masters. lol. Opsi, not funny. It's a requirement. But maybe, Shapovalov likes the low limelight, just being a shadow of those younger than him fit his physical and mental capacity. Maybe he likes being the under dog or below ranks and he doesn't like being on top 10. Ok that's so strange enough. Wimbledon 2023 ATP Championship is just few weeks from now and you don't have to bet because it will be very unpredictable.

News about the TITAN sub still missing. Five passengers aboard that mini-sub lost in the expedition to see the Titanic at the bottom of the sea. OMG! Reminds me of the movie "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea." I hope the rescuers could find them before it's too late.

Nobody's Perfect!

Cloudy day and it's a bit cooler than usual, wonder why when summer time is officially just few hours from now.  Two nights ago the weather temperature has dropped from 20's to just 9 Celsius. Last night's temp. had dropped to 12 degrees Celsius and today it is only 14 degrees Celsius. With the hot and cold temp. just like that what kind of humans who wont get sick? Normal humans can get sick just with sudden drop or sudden dramatic change from hot to cold zone then include the wildfire smokes that you inhaled. It's not that easy living in Canada because everyone is vulnerable even the healthy, normal human beings can get sick. It's human nature against mother nature's calamity and disaster.

I'm not sure if all the wildfires are controlled in Alberta and BC. But have you seen the hurricane-twister messed up city and towns in the US as if their homes were wiped out or erased from the map? It was totally a mess! The houses and buildings looked like debris of carton boxes and the scenery almost like a dumpsite. Is that real? My God, that was crazy hell of a twister beast!

Here in Canada, people are complaining about homelessness and looking at those news about families losing their homes because of wildfires, tornado, hurricanes, flash floods but the worst actually is the war in other countries because of missiles falling and landmine explosions. That there are countries whose war was over for more than 30 - 50 years and their agricultural lands still ravage by landmines.

I don't know for sure when those wars will end because when another war ends, another war begins in another country. It's more like domino effect.

While the rest of the world doesn't care and life continue to flourish in other countries because who they care about? They are rich, they are wealthy, they are employed, they have business and they made lots of profits all they want is to propagate their achievements and show off... that's what it is. Their business is a SHOW & TELL. Salesmen, people who sells ... they must put on their brave face, show how happy they are selling something. You have to be a great pretender. You cannot put on a sad face. You must look like a clown, the joker! lol.

That's what it is peeps. They have to live to tell. What we live to relate here? Oh, well don't like being redundant actually. Nobody's perfect.

Dr. Jose P. Rizal (1861-1896)

Today is the birth anniversary of the famous national hero of Philippines, Dr. JOSE Protacio RIZAL.

June 19, 1861

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!πŸ‘Ό

The genius, the brilliant author of provocative novels: Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo.

Dr. Jose P. Rizal was born in Calamba, Laguna in Philippines on June 19, 1861 to wealthy, very religious hacienderos or landowner parents. At a very young age, Jose already shown his brilliance through his art works and creative literary works. He was born smart! He was winning contests and being hailed as champions in his town and the Spaniards even praised him for such achievements even at that very young age. His mother taught him all what he can learn from books at home and from schools. The family was richly endowed and can send him to higher schools and that's the reason why he was able to study in other countries most especially in Europe. There were so many stories about Dr. Rizal that were not included  in over all assessment about his life but because his life is very complicated. The secrets about his mysterious life should remain secret as it is.

What do you think? It's better that way right?

I know... secrets are what makes biographers, archaeologist, grave diggers are after.

Tomb raiders, thieves, all those pyramid chasers and excavators are sleepless trying to unearth what else is there to dig.

Just Like A Prayer

Considered a milestone for having reached the 40 MILLION POPULATION OF PEOPLE living in Canada and thanks in part for the "diaspora."

The massive influx. The migration of bats! Opsi... people! LOL. OMG!!

I was shown millions of bats in Australia hanging from trees that's why.

Don't worry, Canada is huge! The wildfires are helping in wiping out the vast forest so that you'll have more land. What?? Shocking! That's probably just coincidence eh? I hope it is. Wildfires are crazy fires spreading like you know the burning of fossil fuels or kaingin just gone worst than what it should be as planned? Uhm, cannot be ruled out as the cause could be some kind of war or outbreak. I don't know. I should just blurt out we all should be clueless or be accounted for the "Know-Nothing Band or tribe." Better than "Know-it-All."

Know Nothing -  could earn more medals and trophy? The first to go, the last to know.

That must be a JOKE.

Know-It-All -  could mean no money? EINSTEIN the genius died a poor man.

Choose your viral.

Which is better?

Tonight is the continuation of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD.

Also the premiere, the beginning of DEAD CITY.

For those who are wishing that today is FATHER'S DAY must say/read this beautiful prayer now and forever:

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!πŸ™πŸ™Œ

Different Kind Of Storm

The storm, where's the storm? What kind of storm?

It was only very unusually windy yesterday but didn't catapulted to any storm, typhoon or hurricane. Darn it. I was hoping that the weather temperature will be lowered to at least 10 C.

14 Celsius right now but it's not really cold. It's hot! Weird right? The sun is shining and what could be happening next? Nobody knows.

In the news: In the past news actually: It was Nick Taylor, the Canadian golfer who won the Canadian Open (first Canadian golfer ever won after 54 years) sponsored by RBC.

Then what happened in Hockey? VEGAS KNIGHTS won the 2023 Stanley Cup Championship Game against Florida Panthers.

DENVER GOLDEN NUGGETS won in the  2023 NBA Championship. It was golden indeed.

Close OPEN Close Open CLOSE ...

It's not a huge surprise that Novak Djokovic won the Finals in 2023 Roland Garros Paris France ATP Open  and has defeated the Norwegian tennis player πŸ‘» Casper Ruud. Novak was once the official high achiever, high ranking Top #1 in ATP for so many years before the pandemic. His fame was  stolen and spiraled down because he was not vaccinated, "Novax for Novak." But he won the Wimbledon in UK last year and he keeps winning as he is mentally and physically fit for the game, for the sports of tennis.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!πŸ™ŒπŸ™ NOVAK DJOKOVIC!

Congratulations to IGA SWIATEK!πŸ’“

What's next?

BOSS Stuttgart, Germany Opens ...

-------------------------------------------

The weather today is much appreciated at 23 degrees Celsius. I hope it wont go up to 25 and above or else the wildfires still linger somewhere in Tumbler Ridge, BC and other parts of Canada.

Gossip spread like wildfires and literally 'fire' is the word that is being spread in Canada.  lol

What else you can spread the world over?

Sports: Tennis

Wow! It's way cooler today than yesterday! It feels like springtime after winter not springtime going summer.

This is what we are watching on our TV today...

Quite exciting to watch these guys: Carlos Alacaraz & Novak Djokovic on their best match ever (Semi-Finals) at ROLAND GARROS, ATP Paris, France 2023.

Then minutes later...

ALCARAZ  3 7 1

DJOKOVIC  6 5 5

I am not on a guessing game on who's who will win. Both ATP players are remarkable, brilliant on their own strategy of  being a champ. Djokovic (age 35) is more veteran or well experienced as he is older than Carlos (age 20) both of them are well focused, humble and determined to win but there is only one winner at the end of every game. Wish them the best of luck.

UPDATE: Novak Djokovic had defeated Carlos Alcaraz and Djokovic from Serbia will have to compete with Casper Ruud from Norway in the 2023 Roland Garros Final match.

Maximum Overdrive

I was starting to delete photo albums in my compute folder files because they are getting crowded and slow down the function of my computer/laptop. Besides I need more space for new photos. I was looking, staring and checking each photo to delete from the folder file and leave some important photos for safekeeping.

While browsing through those albums, noticed some of the photos of our kitchen appliances. OMG! Year 2019 and year 2020 - the years of uncertainty and the year of the infamous covid and years when our electronics and or kitchen appliances malfunctioned. It was like domino effect.

From our Hamilton rice cooker, LG microwave/oven, microwave/toaster/oven and our large flat screen television set also got malfunctioned for no apparent reason other than they no longer function.

Don't worry, all those appliances I mentioned are owned by us not by the owner of the rented house. What really happened had something to do with the warranty, guaranty or just that some of them are "old" already when they are stored in the department stores before they were bought? What could be?

Let's start with our TV set. We had our large 50" flat screen TV that we bought in the year 2010. It was at the time of the Vancouver Olympic Games. We rushed out to Courtenay Walmart and purchased that huge TV. Then that TV was replaced in the year 2020 with brand new RCA TV Flat screen LED TV 55" At least the guaranty of 10 years not bad. That 50" TV was a plasma and very heavy. I like that old 50" TV we had because the quality is great, the color is much better and the only thing that malfunction about is the sound. It still had pictures on it, channels are okay and the only problem is the sound. No matter how hard we tried to fix it why the television has no sound or had been muted is unknown to us. So weird. Checked on remote controls for volume and the tune up buttons at the back of the TV and no matter how we checked its diagnostic test all failed and decided it's really time to buy new TV and got that 55" RCA TV.

We bought that RCA TV 55" on June 2020. Sept 2020 we bought new microwave/oven. We purchased rice cooker, toaster/oven in Year 2020. THEN...do I have to mention that the vacuum need to b replaced to? The Dyson vacuum machine needs replacement too. That $650 worth Dyson was replaced with much cheaper vacuum Bissell.

The LG was replaced with Hamilton Beach brand.

Include the laundry machine. Bought this, bought that when we should be saving and economizing. Sure is the reason for moving to this old house is to economize but looked like it's been a topsy- turvy for us.

You think it is convenient to live in Canada? It is more convenient to live in Philippines. That's the truth about it. You wont be able to save money here. With $2,500/month expenses for the house rent + utilities that's a yearly budget for certain family in Philippines and they can send their kids to university.

Know what? Isn't that weird if I tell you that happened in that house in Colorado where suddenly the main fuse gets automatic shut-off and on and shuts off? That we sometimes wake up in the middle of the night that the gas fireplace was off and malfunctioned. That we wake up sometimes, the garage door was wide open the whole night when we knew that we locked it before bedtime?

Well, that happens to old, haunted houses!!!!!! LOL. I was thinking about it now. Old houses had weird electrical wirings or could it be alternating current.

When we first moved in to that house, the brother of the owner who is a friend of my husband tried to pull out the mirror that was attached to the wall in the living room and got hurt when the glass mirror got broken. That's not good. My husband has to fix the wall, replenished and repainted it.

On my family's first night in that house, I think saw a shadow outside the window of our room. I heard there are strangers walking from where husband had docked the boat. Middle of the night! FGS!!  Weird right? Whose shadow is that? Who are they? The next morning, husband and my nieces friends and brother-in-law are to go fishing and they will use my husband's boat. When they were aboard the boat, suddenly the motor malfunctioned. The boating and fishing was cancelled.

Oh well, what else happened to that chaotic move to that house? That house was old so we have to do so many fixing. Husband fixed the bath tub and the plumbing. Good that my husband knew about plumbing or it could be so many tasks to do and his work will keep adding up. He also fixed the gas fireplace so many times then later he just asked the much veteran technician to that work. Just the maintenance of the yard is too much but we like gardening and planting veggies and flowering plants even if its costly on our part. We bought extra enriched garden soil, plants to plant, bag of fertilizer, lime for the fresh turf, we keep the house and yard and maintenance of that house in absolutely perfect condition. That's who we are. It's always lots of work to do.

I could only reminisced those chaotic years were actually quoxitic! Year 2019-2020 the year of uncertainty, awful messy pandemic and maybe it's what you called "maximum overdrive."

While I was writing about this weird story, wildfire smokes rapidly spread from Canada to New York. New York suddenly became a ghostly, foggy smog of haze glowing with toxic fumes and smoke. How that happened? Through the air, to the wind...seems like microwave in concave convex structural form. Whatever. People area sked to wear facemasks oce again because the tiny minute particles from wildfires are health hazards especially for the young and adults with asthma and COPD and lung diseases. While the cause of wildfires in Canada are mostly from the thunder and lightning and maybe from unattended neglected campfires or kaingin system gone awry.

Melons

I had my first cup of brewed hot Nescafe Gold coffee and a piece of blueberry/carrot/raisin bread I baked yesterday. It was a good bread actually because of its ingredients plus the sprinkle of cinnamon in it is superbly enhanced. I was thinking of adding sprinkle of grated cheese but that's too much of a good thing, maybe next time.

I don't really mind cooking and baking provided I have all the ingredients available.

By the way, when hubby and I saw bittermelons from the supermarket have to purchase them right away simply because not very often you see bittermelons in Canadian supermarket. Bittermelon is a wrinkled green veggie, bitter as it is but great for Filipino viands such as "pinakbet & guinisang munggo."

Bittermelon or bittergourd, ampalaya. The leafy green leaves of bittermelon is good substitute too for the viand. However, the supermarket only sells the bittermelon or bitter gourd.

Bittermelon is an alternative medicine for hypertension as it lowers high blood pressure.

It would be nice to have a garden where you can plant this bittermelon, weather permitting that the plant thrives only in tropical regions.

Guinisang munggo with sliced pork, shrimps, bittermelon thin slices, tomatoes, onions, garlic , sliced ginger, broth and spices.

Watermelon for dessert! The best dessert for hot summer days.

Sweet cantaloupe is an orange  melon.

Different stroke for different folks!

Sayings

Hot & Cold weather temp in Canada. Who wont get sick with ever changing hot & cold weather pattern and all the wildfires? Hell on earth eh? I think wildfires in Canada is just very normal and for that reason you have to be practical not to own any permanent house, consider just renting. If its not wildfires, flash floods and twisters are the other calamities you have to think about. At least, earthquake is not really scary here. The quake in Canada are just pod of giant whales along the Pacific and Atlantic coast creating tidal waves.

So the latest news on television networks: META (Facebook & Instagram) will try to block news on social network. Why not?

When you heard or read news about misinformation and disinformation being aired or posted on social media and blame the people for such news? What to do about it? Good to block the news network and do not allow politics and don't even allow those movie stars who are bad role models for kids and those stars and starlets who lower our kids moral and morality. Facebook and Google should be a FAMILY ORIENTED social networks and anything out of the norm promoting abnormality and gender-bender sexual promiscuous activity should be blocked. If the HOLY BIBLE stated about abomination of such "group of ___" then follow the doctrines of the law of God. SAVE FAMILY VALUE AT ALL COST.

I've been watching several Kung Fu movies. From the Ip Man to The Master to Shaolin Warrior.

What do we learn from such movies? Family values one of them of course. The ability to block opponents for self-defense and morality and other social issues. Kung Fu also teaches Buddhism.

However for the Jewish Buddha...

What to do now with those news networks? Let them study Buddhism and find for themselves if what they have in the news are in conformity with their lives as humans or do they have the rights to even broadcast the news as in those news reporters are just "readers of the teleprompters or news made and created by other journalists. "

What being talked about and informed are coming from the news networks. They have to let it be known the source code. When it comes to disaster and calamity the best thing to do is get into the place where it is happening. Evidence and proof of the matter. Well some of those news are probably just so tiny like a mole and they expanded it stretched it to create a mountain to make it controversial.

Limited To Unlimited Resources

I first thought my colds will take a beating of about a week but the allergy symptoms lasted only for 24 hours without any medication. I'm ok now as if nothing happened. I don't like taking meds and only take a headache/fever meds if its so severe when my eyes are already affected. lol. I mean sometimes runny nose and colds just go away within a day or two after I had hot soup or I had cold lemonade or iced cold iced tea or sometimes just a piece of Halls candy can cure my colds or itchy throat. That was quick.

The truth is I don't get sick as often as some people out there maybe because I tried to avoid crowds or I don't get out all the time.

I know life is so boring at age 60. I remember way back when my children aged 4 and 3 and had to bring them to the play center at the community hall and downstairs that center was a group of old folks mostly women age 60 above busy with their crafts. Women are invited to do some crafts (handicrafts, knitting, crocheting, sewing, etc). I told myself that would be more fun than what those other women on Bingo joints are doing eh? Looking back through the years, now at that same age...who would like to do those crafts? Or play bingo? But there are so many of them who are having so much fun with those stuff to keep busy at their old age.

I should be doing gardening but since we moved to another place, in another part of the same city and the land is not mine nor do I owned the building, having tubs with soil with veggies just something appropriate and appreciated. My husband RLT manages to maintain the yard in good order, lawnmowing, weeding and recently sprinkled fertilizer on the grass.

While most of us are living in modest, ordinary life other people from other provinces of Canada still battling the uncontrollable wildfires in Alberta, Nova Scotia and just recently New Brunswick. The Premier of Nova Scotia Tim Houston was heard begging for some people to stop burning because their resources are very limited. Then yesterday, the Immigration Minister Fraser also asked help from Ottawa to stop and control the wildfires in Nova Scotia.

What other people are doing when there's no calamity or disaster? Simply nothing? Of course WORK is the opportunity to do more work and be employed even playing is a type of work if you know what I mean.

Know why? To do something nowadays require financial aid. There is nothing in this world that is worth nothing. You go to the Dollarama stores and you'll find out that there is no one dollar product anymore. The cheapest product is now worth $4/each. Even the plastic bag in supermarket has gone up to 25 cents each so better bring your own shopping bags when you go shopping at Walmart, Superstore, and any other retail stores in Canada.

The minimum wage of $17.65 /hour is now in effect. I hope so. Hoping that the products wont be affected with the rise of the new implemented minimum wage or else it would be a loss cause. The only thing that could help the economy in better shape is the oil and gas extraction to once again flourish in Canada. Oil and gas are the primary backbone of the Canadian economy. Drill one more time. lol

There's enough oil and gas out there.

With all the waste and all the garbage out there,

there are enough batteries to make and fossil fuels to burn.
