Cooking up a storm here at home! lol. I have to feed my family and when it comes about my family, great food is a must for servings. I don't mind. I love to cook!

Can you see the steam? That's right it's super hot!

It was hot pertaining to the stove's temperature and hot outside because of the weather which is nice. Yesterday!

However today, it's gloomy day. It might rain. It's only 5 degrees Celsius temperature outside and it's cloudy day. Springtime what can you ask for.

Hate to see all those bugs crawling and flying at the garden. I hate those noizzium, those tiny creatures that bite, bloodsuckers!!!!!! I want them out from my site.

Food and a movie. The latest movie we watched is WAR DOGS starring Jonah Hill and Miles T. Instead of real dogs (animals) the duo were the "war dogs" serving for military as arms dealers. The story would have my respect if the two men are not on drugs and pot. They should have the story seriously been put aside as "war dogs" that supply arms without the need for substance abuse. That's a movie based on true story? Really? How can you think clearly when they were on drugs? Whatever! Weird!! They could have it made with the first contract but the duo got greedy and obese and Jonah Hill played some kind of stupid greedy and evil. For him to wear the Jewish "hat" made it deceptive rather is that sort of deception using religious symbol to make his stand better than the other person? Well, we have to create robots as war dogs instead. And you wonder why there are DRONES.

Cupcake Or Muffin: What's the difference?

 Craving for cupcake make me gather some of the required ingredients such as:
2 cups of all purpose flour, 2 cups of pancake mix, 1 1/2 cup of sugar, shredded small size zucchini, 1 minced banana, 1 cup blueberries. In liquid form: 1 1/2 cup milk, 2 beaten eggs, I tbsp. vanilla, 1 cup canola oil or 1/2 cup butter (butter is optional)

After all the ingredients are mixed properly, the mixed ingredients are mold(ed) on required cupcake wraps (for the cupcake tray) and aluminum pan/plate. Bake on 350 degrees Celsius inside the oven for 40 minutes.

The Weirdest Court Battle

THE WEIRDEST COURT BATTLE:

　

Last Saturday, I was changing channels in search for better movies to watch. Then search, search then something interesting on the screen of our TV featuring MY SISTER's KEEPER movie is on. The girl Kate is at the hospital and keeping an eye on one of the hospital patients, a young man who is sick also just like Kate, then the two sick young teens fell in love and then kissed each other and I changed channel once again. I'm not interested anymore. I don't like a movie like that. I don't find the movie too serious to be interested.

　

Then last Sunday, the movie started again in another channel. This time the movie began from it's "beginning" and there was that narrative, of the real victim, Ann Fitzgerald (11 year old organ donor since the time she was born). Ann was conceived through IVF or In Vitro Fertilization (egg and sperm from parents were united/experimented in a petri dish in the laboratory) she was CONCEIVED ONLY so that they can harvest vital tissues and bone marrow for her older sister Kate who was sick of ACUTE PROMYELOCYTIC LEUKEMIA. "Acute."

When the word "acute" is diagonosed, therefore there's no amount of survival expertise is required however due to maybe of a perfect match found to be of vital importance then Kate was able to live up to the time when she asked her sister Ann to be emancipated from being an organ donor. Because Ann has provided much of the necessay marrow and if didn't help Kate in the first, second operation then there is something wrong. Either the patient si rejecting the aid or she wants to die. Well, they discovered that Kate really wants to die that's why she had renal failure and would need a new kidney and once again their Mother (portrayed by Cameron Diaz) was desperate that Ann has to give half of her kidney. All the members of the family looked at her like being selfish for being reluctant to give the vital organ that would save the life of Kate. I couldn't believe how SELFISH the members of the family who are looking at Ann like they were sort of the wicked lunatic witches and vampires using Ann as their sacrifice.

　

I was shocked about the story of this movie. It's a monster movie. I can't help get mad at Cameron Diaz for being so selfish not standing up for her daughter Ann. Favoritism sort of? Is Ann not a daughter to her lawyer Mother whose wisdom needs inquiry? Why the judge and Ann's lawyer would fight for her against this monstrous plan of saving a dying person who wants to die anyway. I feel so much sympathy for Kate but if God wants somebody to die we can't argue with God and His logic. There is a reason why someone has to die. We all have to die at some point in our life but nobody knows when or where, what time or day. Why let someone suffer for the suffering of a person. It's a 50/50 chance everytime there's an organ replacement operation. Seriously, the chance of an organ donor giving the half kidney after you had taken her marrow and other essential parts of a living donor would end up Ann being the next patient and suffer the same consequences. Leukemia is cancer. If one member of the family has cancer there could be a chance that another member of the family has cancer. The Mother is a lawyer, the father is a firefighter. Is there something fishy behind this family?  Anyway, thank God! Ann won the legal battle (after suing her Mother in court). She should, if not then she'll end up like an animal being taken advantage by her cruel family. It was cruel and unethical! It's CRAZY!

　

Not long time ago, I watched a documentary show on TV about too many organ donors in Philippines. Hundreds, thousands of these Filipino men who are in poverty sold their kidneys to foreign buyers. Each kidney was worth P10,000 to P50,000. Those men were supported with right amount of drugs to help sustain their recovery and others were not able to survive. When the drugs for recovery is discontinued then end of life series. Because they were poor and the purpose on how they spent the money they received from those who bought their kidney end up futile. You should watch it too and find out. Why they sold their kidneys? OUT of DESPERATION. POVERTY!!!!! Too many poor families in Philippines. Sad, but true life of poor people trying to make a living by selling their own kidneys.

　

MORAL LESSON: TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF! There is ONLY ONE YOU! You are unique in your own special way. There is no such thing as Perfect match for anybody out there! You are not even match perfectly for your own brother, sister, not even to your own parents. How could your vital internal organs be matched with other person in another tribe, clan much more with foreigners?

Happy Ending Or Not

The INNOCENT MAN Korean drama series I watched on OMNI TV has ended last Friday. I think that was the finale. Han Jaehui (former gf of Maru) turned herself in to the police station and Mr. An after stabbing Maru instead of Seo Eungi by accident also turned himself in and was imprisoned for short period of time. Mr. Park, the lawyer of Taesan and son of Taesan owner has recovered from the coma and has stopped Han Jaehui to unite with Mr. An who was seen walking away from Han Jaehui. And how the hell Maru is alive at the end of the story? Well, he is the leading character and he was able to finish his college degree and became a doctor. He can't remember faces, something wrong with his memory? How Seo Eungi and Maru at the end of the story is strange or it's just that we all want a happy ending. Why not? A HAPPY ENDING is better than a tragedy.

Our lives should not be compared with the HOLY BIBLE with uncertainties, war stories, greed, gluttony, bloody encounters, sex, rape, incest, adultery,  deceit, lies, tragedy, stealing, bloody sacrifices, and the many gruesome death inflicted by wicked, evil Bible characters. The only thing is there are too many records of history when the war is the bloodiest or the characters have committed gruesome manslaughter or murder. That's what it is. You want to be in History you should have something of an EXTRAORDINARY STORY for the COURT to record your whole life and the lives of people around you.

We might wake up in the Year 3000 and the new Jesus Christ is somebody who's got prison record from Alcatraz.

Why? Because there are "particular educated people" who preserved the prison records of prisoners!

Work Your Mind The Rest Will Follow

According to the famous novelist STEPHEN KING, it's better to close down your television set when writing a novel or go to places where you are just by yourself alone where nobody disturbs your concentration so that you can better write and "be with the world according to the desires of your mind."

So true! That's why the remarkable STEPHEN KING was able to write those shattering, frightening super thriller novels/movies such as THE SHINING, CARRIE, THIN and whole lot of psycho-thriller movies that you keep on watching because its macabre and psychologically mindboggling to watch because too intense for the eyes, for everyone's vision for the mind to absorb.

I am not Stephen King. There is only one Stephen King who is the master of such incredible scary movies and novels. Too much for a normal mind to take his kind of masterpieces which required multitasking of the minds (multiple personalities all rolled into one gigantic mind). Who will have the same kind of thoughts like Stephen King unless of course he deals with mental patients or he was a frequent visitor in prisons and mental hospitals. He could be reading Sigmund Freud's documentary reports of his patients during the 1900's. Stephen King's probably a psychiatrist and being a novelist is just part of his extra work. Who knows?

It can be just pure imagination. Someone, somebody must probably dealt a situation in the past to write something out of an extraordinary.

Writers can't just rely on imaginations alone or else you'll go insane or who's who you are kidding or fooling about yourself eh?

Concentration. Where to concentrate? I'm starting a story and then the TV interferes and the story merges with their story. Foul! Not the way it should be. STOP there. Then  try again. THINK about your own story and what can it provides you for the time being. When your idea is an idea of something else. Or those group of people read your ideas and they told everyone that it belongs to them. WTH!

I know. Remember the advertisement about the Microsoft software and windows and everyone who owns computer said, "it's my idea." It's their idea because they have Microsoft windows! Well dudes, MY IDEA because my MIND WORKS!

FIVE SENSES + 3 SENSES More to be sure

 Oh my God!!!! The water is dirty! What happened to the water? The water coming out from the toilet bowl when flushed is dirty and the water from the water tap is also dirty. What happened? I was shocked and almost in panic and told my husband about how dirty the water coming out from the faucet. Aft first he was not bothered about the dirty water from the washroom but from the water tap on the sink? That was uncalled for.

Could it be something wrong with the water tank? Thinking of the many possible ways why water will turn out dirty and ruled out what to do next...

 I told my husband to report that incident to Mr. Grant. This is his house we are renting and he should have a solution or answer and it's not the tenants problem to fix things inside the house especially when it comes to water supply, replacing water tank, fixing appliances, etc.

It was Saturday, March 18, 2017, night time. Who will fix the water tank? What business is open  at night time and can change the tank and or replace water tank.

I hate the fact that we don't store any bottled drinking water or a bucket of clean, safe water. We should have a bucket or a drum for water storage! We have a small Brita water pitcher but thinking about the filthy color of the water made me think of coli-form bacteria and whatever in it that makes a colorless transparent water looked disgusting make me sick. It scares  the hell out of me.

My husband is not in panic. He saw men at work down the highway doing some fixing so maybe the water lines broke down and the water supply has been affected. I was some kind of problematic about that for the night and I couldn't sleep.

The next day, March 19,2017 the water is not that clear yet. Waited for few minutes, hours until the water clears up. Cold dirty water!

However, whether they are clear, colorless, transparent, no smell... I use BRITA WATER FILTER to make sure that the water is SAFE and DRINKABLE!

Vampire Diaries No More!

Eight years of Vampire Diaries series over! OMG! No more Paul, no more Stefan and no more Elena and Catherine! No More Vamps!!

What happened? 8 years over of sucking red blood from victims' neck. They ran out of blood! LOL.
That's bizarre eh? No kidding, Vampire Diaries has ended last Friday with Elena writing notes outside the mausoleum in the forest, Stefan's spirit accompanied her to her family's house where she was welcomed by her family and Stefan and Paul, the two brothers joined together in the finale. That's it.

Hangover? What kind of finale is that? Eight years and how many episodes Vampire Diaries had shown on TV? Can't count anymore.

Counting must stop and there's no more red blood because I think everyone's suffering from PMS.

On Being Practical

A friend of my husband bought a semi-older house recently and had him newly painted the house, later asked my husband if he would like to rent it. We are on a lease for one year presently at this house we are occupying so we might finish the lease agreement before we move out. Lease is a lease, it's a lease! Darn! However, the friend can't wait any longer and he wants the newly-bought house rented so that he can make money from it. It's business! The friend bought a house and he wants to use that house as a profiteering business sort of. Can't blame the man because a business should provide profit unless it's no longer business but a charity. They rented the house to a dentist! That's the way it is whether it's a government or private enterprises, small business or big business at the end of the year businesses should have profit or at least have break-even. Without profit then it's no longer a business and it should shut down.

We will probably stay on this small cozy house even if some of our furniture wont fit in the living-room, nor the boat wont fit in the parking space. My husband's work tools wont fit in the garage and we have to pay extra rent to store his work tools in a storage 15 minutes away from the house. Now what's happening? Gas is expensive. The driving from here and there is a hassle. It's unhealthy and not practical. Downsizing is a matter of better perspective and good planning.

I usually search for "that perfect house" where we can move just in case but as of this time there's no available perfect house at the island. Sad to say. For those who are bored and unhappy with their houses because there are imperfections and some of their houses are too old and smelled fart because their houses are over 60 years old (no pun intended) they spend their holidays in Asian countries and most of them had fun on vacation in European countries. Good for them.

Nothing's new... oh wait...

A local video store had closed down 10 years ago and another video store closed down weeks ago the same way of its problem the first one encountered, because it's not profitable anymore. What to do when the big cable/telecommunications companies such as TELUS Inc., SHAW, and other cable networks offered the convenience of  providing rental DVDs, movies, TV shows ... just turn ON your TV and with remote control gadget you can press the desired buttons and order movies at the convenience of your home. That's easy? Too easy convenient that's right! Beware though, for your young children you should have the option of a parental guidance when young kids keep ordering movies, put a lock or learn to lock that specific site so that young kids can't order movies without your knowledge and supervision.

Is It Problem With Race?

Why some news network are bombarding us with old news? They hoard so much tons of news and they are coming out in the open as if its the latest news.

Oh, I remember in Italy their library still carry books mentioning that the Filipinos still live inside their boats (like the Thais), some of them live on stilts houses (just like the Indonesians and Malays). The old books they had were there probably since the 1900's.

Philippines is no longer those people living inside boats and stilt houses. Maybe they thought Filipinos are Thailanders, Malays and Indonesians. Is there any slight difference on facial recognition one from the other? How about recognizing a Filipino from Chinese and Vietnamese? Or recognize a Filipino from Koreans and Japanese. How about recognizing a Filipino from East Indians and Native Indians.

If you have problems with recognition because you are blind, half-blind, visually impaired, racist or not...
Then try facial recognition test with Americans, Germans, British, Italians, Romans, and other Europeans in your community. I know you will have problem especially if all these people have the same skin color.

How to know if a Jew is not a Palestine? Can you recognize the difference between the two races of people without knowing their religion?

When somebody said he is a Canadian but he is dark-skinned Filipino how you will react? You don't really find it amusing, right? Or a Chinese said he is Canadian. In our thoughts, whether you are a Canadian citizen people will always look at your face and skin color. You are only a citizen of such country base on what's on the paper but not on the surFACE and the color of your skin. Human nature! Then a black man said he is Japanese and everyone's caught off guard. There's no black Japanese. There are Ninjas but black Japanese? I'm not racist but it is shocking right? How about black Chinese? There are movies depicting the Chinese- black race due to erase the stigma on the Vietnam war PTSD victims who are until now having the hate-rage conflict with  the Vietnamese people and they mistakenly label Chinese race as Vietnamese race. It doesn't make sense but in reality there are certain issues that are hard to approach nor solve and have any solution as if its a conspiracy.
