I was advised to get out frequently as in at least spend time outside, maybe shopping or have sight-seeing tour or something because I'm always at home. I think being at home most of the time is just when you have enough being out. I worked in the Philippines before and I was a pharmaceutical representative, medical representative and my work is "field work." I have to visit hospitals, pharmacy, and clinics and detailed medical products and give samples and medical brochures to doctors. I had free clinic at DRTS in Department of Health together with other medical representatives from different pharmaceutical companies (United Laboratories, Wesmount, Schering, Berlimed, Wellcome, Bayer, Eli-Lilly, Sanofi, Astra, Glaxo & Pfizer).
Being always out in Philippines mean its the kind of work or the occupation you have. There's an important purpose. If you are unemployed, old and retired why are you roaming outside like being homeless? Besides if you are married why would you be out most of the time? I'm not that very conservative but if you are married and happy with your family why would you stay out most of the time? It only means you are just an unhappy human seeking happiness from outside. Opsi, not to cause trouble here. We find happiness in so many different ways. I could be out there without you knowing me because I sometimes can make myself invisible. Ha ha ha! LOL. j/k
Who says, I don't get out? Yeah, why get out most of the time when you have a family at home? You are out most of the time because the house maybe toxic or you are surrounded by toxic humans.
You wont believe how many times my husband and I traveled (for Holiday/Vacation) from BC, to the end to end of BC as in all cities and towns in British Columbia: Prince Rupert, Stewart, Terrace, Kitimat, Smithers, Prince George, Quesnel, Barkerville, 100 Mile House, Revelstoke, Kamloops, Merritt, Hope, Banff, Okanagan, Kelowna, Victoria, Duncan, North Vancouver, Downton Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond, Fraser Valley, Port Hardy, Gold River, Strathcona, Cathedral Grove, Nanaimo, Courtenay, Cumberland, Campbell River, Quadra island, Brown's Bay, Bear Lake, McIvor Lake then to Alberta. We went on vacation to Philippines 4x.
When my husband used to golfing every week at Moe Hays (part of his job to entertain his clients) I was with him too. Then I decided no way because I don't like getting dark skin and being bitten by bugs. Too many hungry tiny bugs at the golf course. My friend told me because I applied lotion in my skin that's why the bugs are biting.
Almost 6 pm in Hyder, Alaska. I didn't expect that Alaska is almost like a "province." It's a country or rural area. Not much to look at but the wide vast of nature, mountains and forest. Houses almost like the ones in Philippines and the roofs are made of galvanized iron. I don't know what's it like in their big cities though.
This log ship is huge. Almost like a huge football field.
I've been to Hong Kong, to Alaska. Border of USA, just few kms only by car didn't go there because we don't have time & I was pregnant have to go home back to Rupert. Just few days after... early labor just happened. That period of time Canadians can have access whenever they want to go visit USA or Americans had easy access to visit Canada. NO VISA or PASSPORT required just that it was so peaceful and safe in crossing both countries in the 90's.
Way back then in the 90's, CANADA was in the great abundance, with great surplus, it was well prosperous than any other countries in the world. Toronto Blue Jays won 2x in a row. High employment in the forestry, mining, pulp mills, sawmills, fishing industry. Less crime, obedient and law abiding Canadians and residents. You don't hear about crime, no racism and most of all peaceful loving Canadians. That's why Canada was chosen as the "world's peacekeeper."
Happiness is not just being outside but when I'm outside, photography takes that one of a kind challenge and I have to focus on my camera and aim at my target.
I had photographs of almost everything I see about Mother Nature, the mountains, seascapes, forest and trees, landmarks and anything significant for the art of photography. I photographed not only landscapes or bodies of water but also animals such as grizzly bears, loons, ducks, eagles, crows, seagulls, sea creatures great or small, salmons, halibut, snapper, dogfish, hummingbirds, deer, beaver, raccoon, dogs and cats, herds of cows and sheep, elks, plants, flowers, mushrooms, buildings, grain elevators, pulp mills, cruise ships, cargo ship, large capacity ships for loading logs and grains and all interesting stuff that fascinate my vision. Well of course, I include myself , my husband and my 3 children in my photography. Too costly way back then but can afford to have the negatives processed in one hour photo processing unlike nowadays when you just use your digital camera and then upload the chip into your computer and see the photos right away within a blink of an eye as if magic.

Logs being loaded to the large log ship by longshoremen. It was a risky job for longshoremen that's why my husband made sure that everyone is safe while they are at work. All workers wear the spike shoes and safety outfit they were trained to do such huge load works.
Hard to load logs when at winter because sometimes the logs are covered with snow and every surface is slippery and steep. Husband always provided the longshoremen with cork boots and made sure that every precautionary measures are applied and reminded time and time again. My hubby was a manager for EMPIRE a stevedoring company and our precious baby Bluepoint Himalayan cat is Princess Leia.
It was winter and the slippery highway going to Stewart BC is treacherous. At one time the snowstorm was nonstop and snow covered the river, mountain and highways. It's almost like being in a white planet from another galaxy.
Two brown bears grizzlies across the stream of water with those white birds and ducks feasting on fresh salmons.
I was hiding behind a huge, tall spruce tree with my husband asking me to watch out for those bears but I was curious and still aimed my focus on my camera lens. I was without fear way back then snapping more photos and thought to myself I could climb up the tree if the bears approached us. Long before I know that bears could climb a tree!
