CURIOSITY?

 

Nothing much to blog as in everything's okay so far unless of course if I'm offended or somebody backstabbed me or somebody wronged me. So far so good. 

I was asked what subject I blog about and if I earned money from blogging. First of all BLOGGER is a FREE BLOG SITE. If you want to earn money, you are allowed to post advertisements on per click basis. If those readers of you will click the AD you earned money. Maybe $5 in one month. LOL. Know what? Just collect empty cans of softdrinks  and you'll make more money. Not too many use their blogs as money-earning blogs. Most of the blogwriters here are "retired people." They are retired teachers, writers who used the platform for blogging or reaching out to family and friends. Some found the site as a way to vent out, therapeutic site, a hobby site, too many artists from being a painter, artisan, carvers, gardeners, a genealogy blog site, some people used the site as "Diary." Others are just blog writers because they love writing. 

ME? I love writing, blogging. It makes me happy. I can post all my artworks. I am not Da Vinci, Michaelangelo, Rembrant or Picasso... I have my own style of doing Arts. It keeps me busy. Each and everyone has hobbies to keep busy about. Blogging is not really for those who are employed because they have to concentrate on their work and have their focus. BLOGGING is really advisable for the retirees. You don't really have to stay 24 hours blogging. It only takes less than 30 minutes to blog but searching for the image for your story would take sometime depends on how many photos in your picture folder. Or sometimes depend on the speed of your computer. 

For those who told you that they earned lots of money in their blogging or vlogging? That's baloney. Ask their T4 slip or  ask how much tax they paid from their earnings. They are just bulshitting you! Sorry about using such word. 

GOVERNMENT of the PM had stated about tax credit for being an artist in Canada? Yeah if somewhat you are earning generous amount of money. That's tax credit! lol. Funny though that the only ones who probably earned millions of money are the collectors of ARTS and paintings from famous dead artists of the Renaissance Period. Remember Evan Solomon and PM Carney they are Art collectors. IS IT TRUE?

My ARTWORKS  are so simple and yet they have hidden codes and include mystery of the future. OPSI. OMG! I should not post about it. Huh! Too late now. Darn.

 

 

TGIF however...

 PEOPLE ARE HURTING not only in Canada and the US, but everywhere around the world.

Thank goodness for the "Soapbox" such as Blogger, Facebook and other social media where some people can have "escape." Would you like millions of people have their public rants and protest rally on the streets and then radicals combined and violence erupts like raging volcano? You don't want that. This is the reason why social media, blogging communities are visible now so that people have a way to express their unhappiness, their grief, their aim and purpose in life. You have those politicians non-stop with their public tirade and annoying opposition side of their ideas, opinions on TV as their soapbox,  they have   financial means to back up their side of what should be done but what about the people? 

BLOGGING is for the people, of the people so why not we have our own idea, opinion and our own way of publishing what matter the most?

You don't want the people power on the streets right?

Anyway, most blog writers are honest and we are not for violence.

What we are collecting nowadays? RECEIPTS.  PAID receipts!

Foods are getting expensive every now and then. We are being surprised everyday of how pricier and costly some foods are, including cleaning products, the laundry detergent, milk, juice,  meat and other dairy products. Usually the famous big products are more expensive but even the generic ones are in competition with famous top of the line products. 

The only way people can start being happy again is when the Government lowers the affordability bracket for housing just like when the Harper Administration Harper had it that 3 bedrooms with 1 1/2 bathrooms with garage for only $1,000/month's rent NOT for $3,000/rent. Better economy during the Harper-Flaherty der year. uo. Would you believe? It is during the Covid Era and the stupid Trump tariffs that made poverty line higher and the only ones who are getting richer are the billionaires. The politicians? Well you know that they all are earning six figures. 

If the rent or mortgage is lowered, people would have enough financial capability to buy their own groceries and pay their utilities. 

It is getting cold. Most homes will be heated and that too is added burden for their bills. Hydro and gas. Most families will be paying at least $ 400 for their heating per month. You think that oil and gas are extracted in Alberta and the whole Canada is benefited from its resources... hmm...NO.  IF it does then the price of gas and oil would have been cheaper. Look at Brunei, with their gas and oil extraction in their very small island everybody benefit from its wealth. 

THE BUDGET DELIBERATION. Yes there is budget under the Liberal tandem PM Carney & Champagne the Finance Minister. Over hundred BILLIONS OF DOLLARS allocated for the budget. Are they from all the taxes incurred, or  Borrowed from IMF? 

If the budget is borrowed what could be the consequences? Taxes will be higher? There will be cuts in some government departments, etc, unknowns. Too early to report expectancy. But for the 40 to 41 MILLIONS OF PEOPLE with hundred billions of budget you think the budget is good enough? It could be unless if somehow they tried to distribute the budget for war once again which we should not be a part of. Canada should not be a part of those genocide or countries killing other people for fame, fortune and greed for power. That's all.

Its windy and stupid rain causing havoc once again at 11 Celsius.  

 

MORE LIGHTHOUSES & SAILBOATS

 

Too many wealthy and rich people in Canada! However, so many calamities and disaster had them losing their big and beautiful homes because of wildfires, hurricanes, flash floods, tornadoes but mostly through WILDFIRES where they have to evacuate a certain community of 20,000 to 40,000 out from the ravaging hell fires that also burned thousands of business establishments. Even if they have home insurance... no amount of money can save those expensive furniture, appliances and the whole houses where they live. That's very depressing. 

Remember when the closure of all major industry such as pulp mills, saw mills that too had the economy collapsed in many cities in British Columbia. The whole community had been affected physically and mentally. Families collapsed, couples separated and divorces it become a psychological problems for the younger ones. 

Then the modern technology flourished as the answer to pulp mills closure which of course the modern way to escape. It was an escape. Don't you think so. Steve Jobs once said, darn nevermind... he died of cancer and that was because he was into modern technology and too much radiation can cause cancer. He knew it all along. So at present, AI Data Centers will be all over any country in the world consuming your water and water reservoir because its almost like a "living cell"  for its function and all the noise and pollution especially the noises which might lead to alien invasion. Who knows right? Maybe those data centers will be the magnet for the aliens from outer space to conquer the Earth. 

ARS LONGA VITA BREVIS

 Surprise! Not actually it is no surprise at all that Filipinos and Asian families eat three times a day. 3X A DAY! That's who we are. I think it has something to do with "we love to cook." Cooking is not a chore but a way of life. If you are lazy to cook then you can have your meals at your favorite restaurants or carinderia. Some people are too lazy to cook and eat? That's their own prerogative. Maybe they are sick of bulimia on a diet or just that they don't have anything to eat. Maybe the budget for food is on their mortgage on their sports cars and other luxuries in life that they tend to miss their meals not eating. 

For once, somebody told me that he saw people driving Mercedez Benz and BMW and going to the Food Bank. Really? They cannot afford to buy food but they are driving luxury cars? Wow! That's so shocking! Wait a minute, maybe they were there at the Food Bank to donate non-perishable foods? I don't know for sure because I didn't witness it and I don't even know where the Food bank because we shop at Superstore. We shopped at Costco before with our Executive membership card but driving there for 45 minutes and then another 45 minutes  back home is so tiring after walking around all the corners of such big building finding what we need. Although shopping there is fun during the Holidays. I mean one stop-shop finding for Christmas gifts. 

RICE is a staple food in the Philippines, China, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, India,Indonesia, Vietnam and other countries in Asia. Rice is very important for Asian families. It is normal for Asian families to have breakfast, lunch and dinner and merienda or snacks. We worked hard we have to keep ourselves healthy and strong. Healthy body, mentally strong. 

So, why I'm sick? LOL. I thought I was perfectly strong and healthy. I was. I can break a steel when I was young. OMG! It must be that three hour Chinese soup that made me strong. What made people sick are the hazards and harmful toxic polluted within the environment. You can inhale those toxic fumes and it will affect your body and mind. Tell me of those people who were in those wildfires that ravaged their homes and their livelihood, tell me what happened to them. 

I worked so hard, I am not lazy. How my health was affected with just working. My friend Iris and I owned a janitorial services and we are the workers too in our business. I worked in restaurants. Smokes of all kinds are visible in the kitchen no matter what even if there are vents. I worked helping my husband in cleaning townhouses that husband managed for 24 years. Of course those cleaning products are really strong: Easy Off, Windex, Fantastik, Big Blue etc.  Cleaning stove and ovens and all those greasy counters... darn I should have face masks  doing those tasks. 

And you'll probably asked how  the hell those smokers and drunkards or alcoholics are not sick? Well, maybe some of them are dead already. 

Whatever! I don't really like being mean. ARS LONGA VITA BREVIS. Life is short make it longer by doing the things that make you happy and be of help to others. Stop comparing yourself to others. You don't know what ails them and what they are capable of. Stop being a hypocrite. 

To each his or her own. My life is not yours. DO YOUR JOB FAIRLY & WORK HARD NOT TO BE A BURDEN TO OTHERS. BE HONEST... BE TRUTHFUL stop being a liar! I hate liars. STOP BEING A NAZI or you'll be included in the LIST & WALL OF NAZI WAR CRIMES & the MOSSAD WILL BE HUNTING YOU! Work like nobody's watching... YOU ARE PAID and if you are not paid for the work then complain.

THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA

 

Would you believe it took 2,000 years to build the Great Wall Of China? 

 Along its grandiose wall built on verdant valleys and hills centuries ago...

Many Emperors had died and live to build and rebuilt the Wall until it encompassed the longest mighty walls the world had ever built and still can be seen until now at present time. A remarkable landmark or  structure that could be seen visible as far as where the ISS International Space Station is located high above Earth. 

Just like the pyramids of Egypt, the Great Wall of China is considered a UNESCO Heritage Site and it must be preserved for as long as it takes. The ingenuity of human hands to build structure that defies and defend the inner of China from against its oppressors and enemies. 

FORGED EMPIRES. Have you played it?  How a structure of buildings and innovation and inventions rule the world. How can you avoid enemies or forge friends and eventually lead to lasting friendship and peace.

The Great Wall of China is not only a simple wall structure. It comprises of human's labor of love, devotion to family and village life and culture, it is a structural  defense and it is a reflection of their human identity and DNA structure.  

YESTERDAY, TODAY, TOMORROW & THE FUTURE

 

Our cutiepies wearing "cookie monsters costumes for the Halloween." My children are not into Halloween anymore so Raven & Echo had so much fun I think. My husband Lorne had so much fun caring for them actually while their Dad Duane is at work. Duane spoiled them by buying lots of dog treats, clothes and costumes. 

Now that Halloween is over, time to celebrate HAPPY ALL SAINTS DAY. 

Of course we have to remember our dearly departed members of the family, relatives and friends  hoping and wishing they are in heaven with the Lord Our God.  Requiescat en Pace. (Pax) 🙏

 

Thinking of what I have to cook for today from the Pasta Collection. We had just tried the Pasta: Ravioli with lobsters and shrimps and veggies carrots & gaylan.

 

Then we tried and tasted the Pasta Mozarella Di Bufala with mushrooms and green peas. 

 Then I remember we have bittermelon in the fridge so I had it for omelette + steamed rice + pork/bokchoy soup. Good enough for dinner.

Tonight probably we'll have palabok.  

Not many kids came for trick or treat. I think its because the townhouse has a gate and its not an open yard plus with dogs barking...

My family watched WAR MACHINE movie with Dennis Quaid,  Alan Ritchson first thought he was Chris Pratt at first glance. I can't believe that the training for the Marine/Rangers are just similar with training the US NAVY SEALS. In this war action movie the enemies are the machine robots. Darn! If this is real war no soldiers will survive. Its worst than Terminator. 

Now think about what will happen in the future wars against DRONES. Drones are kamikaze attack force. Let say millions of drones flew over your city and each drone has a bomb...  What do you think will happen? 

 

NOSTALGIA

 On the way to the NRGH-RU, we passed by a guy on his black and white suit on the sidewalk waving and with his hand signaling for hitch-hike just right there closer to the billboard or sign: HITCHHIKING IS ILLEGAL. 

OMG! What the hell? We couldn't helped laughed. Maybe just fooling around for the Halloween or something eh?

TGIF and even if the weather is cold and depressing because of FALL Season and  noticed of the snow on top of the mountains, Wow so majestic like icing on the cake! Snow should stay on top of the mountains not on the ground, ok?  Every drivers dream and wish that snow will just stay on top of the mountains. 

The run at the RU is just smooth sailing nothing that bothers me at all. Its just my ARTS and nothing else. I had drawn the MAYFLOWER Ship and I was to apply colors on it when Candace came to ask permission from me if she can show the student nurses about the function of the Dialysis machine. I don't mind that. Hmm, turned out Candace has a good voice and she seldom talks.

Here comes Rob checking the vitals on the machine's monitor screen. "Gurl! Gurl!! Calling me girl? What LOL. Darn it I'm an old woman. Then faced me smiling asking "Are you a girl or a boy?" OMG! What the hell got into his mind asking me that? I asked him, how about you? Are  you a __________! Opsi. I shut my mouth and I just chuckled. Of course he is kidding asking me that weird question. I don't mind being jolly with those health care workers. I've been there...done that when I worked in Pharma, in the DRTS Department of Health. Even the doctors are easy to get along with. At one time, when I was shopping in Greenhills in Philippines  happened to see Dr. Carmen Deang and she asked me for a snack and its her treat we went to Jollibee. Dapat ako ang magtreat pero mayaman sya no! Puede ko naman syang itreat reimburse ko lang sa Pharma. I tried to invite her to Manila Peninsula Hotel to see Robert's violin performance but then she was too busy. Sayang, imamatch ko sana silang dalawa. Noon pa ito year 1987 ata yun. Grabe tagal na. 

By the way, that joke about girl or a boy? I remember when I was a College student in FEU (1981) and I was at the Class of Mrs. O.M.  She was an old lady. She was checking our test papers in English and when she's finished she called us one by one and when she called me Miss Verdad, staring at me handing over my test paper and asked, " Are you a boy or a girl?" I have short hair cut and wearing long sleeves polo shirt and denim pants with leather belt, and my shoes are pair of leather gamoza. Alam mo na yung fashion noon parang si Samapaguita (rock singer) while others are wearing the punk rock outfit as if we're all in a rock band of Alice Cooper. . The whole class burst out laughing. OMG that's not funny you know. Anyway, don't mind about it I had perfect score in my test so that joke didn't really upset me. I don't know for some reasons I always been the center of attention when I hated it. I dressed comfortably in my kind of clothing and if ever I walked through the long covered hallway outside with all  those benches full of students in different groups, they tend to look at me from head to foot. At one time somebody just grabbed my hand and walked with me as if being frightened. She was afraid of one of the girls (tomboy) in the group sitting on the bench. She befriended me more like she was asking for a rescue or something. I am not sure. She thought I'm a HS student in FEU just like her. She's pretty though. She was curious. Curiousity? I am not a tomboy For God Sake! Siga lang akong kumilos. Like one false move and I'll give you a karate chop. OMG! just kidding!

What happened without DST?  At about 6 am it is still pitch black too dark outside as if it is midnight. The sunrise probably at 8 am. At night 5 pm is dark already. For the motorists or drivers driving at night posed some risks. BEING WEDNESDAY

 I don't know how can I write stories here without offending other people ad using their real names. Do I have to hide their identity? Do I have to ask their permission first if they want to be a part of my blogs? I don't hide secret that's my problem. I was thinking about that last night because my BLOGS are now on reset to public viewing. 

Maybe it is safer to just use "anonymous names for those people eh?" Darn! WEll because you don't know how they reeact once their names are read here. They could have a negative impact and NEGATIVE is not good. The weather will be affected ...duh. Its the rule of integers. 

BREACH is the word that you don't want to happen right? Did you know that there was a hospital that was shutdown because of that? Schools had shutdown not because of few students in a classroom but because of Breach and lawsuits.

My parents worked in the military hospital for such very long, long time until they retired. Whatever happened in the workplace my siblings and I never ever heard of them talking about their work and what's happening inside the hospital. I only know what's going on when I gave them a visit or at the time when I volunteered while my Mother recuperated from her fracture hand when she had a fall that night coming home from her night shift at the hospital. She worked as a attendant nurse at the Orthopedic Ward and had helped her do her duties. She just told me what to do and I did it. I was younger then that time but my sense of purpose and direction is good. Hey, I was a leader in Girl Scout! Well this happened even before I was a Medic in CAT. 

So much so of those old stories. Back to my artworks. I know why always the ARTS. Its because it calms me down. My hands have a mind of their own. LOL. Ha! That's funny eh?

Why I never mentioned somebody closed to me just like Juliet at the RU?  Because we talked about family and don't like showing favoritism. But she is a very devoted and dedicated nurse and she is smart and knows what she is doing. I mean don't need to elaborate her skills of course she's got skills and has sense of humor.

 

Surprise! I met the SB in RU by himself alone, without his Mom. That's great! Good for him and he can talk now too without being shy. That's great! 

Veneracion keep teasing me I am allergic to "wheat" because I started coughing after having those noodles with Chinese dumplings.  I've been eating a lot of noodles before and bread and I don't cough. But I remember Kim who told me that there are too many preservatives in the making of flour and they are harmful for human consumption. Could be. Who knows right? Then good news! The result of my X-Ray > CLEAR. No lungs! He told me.  I laughed about it. Seriously nothing wrong with the Chest X Ray. Well I knew it. The same reason I told the Ukrainian doctor that my body heals by itself that I don't need a dialysis. My body gets into that "stage" like being possessed by the UNKNOWNS once a while as if Poltergeist. Hey it was bloodwork yesterday. Trick or treat, "I want some more!" LOL. I should watch INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE. 

 

 Then Captain Morgan came and asked "how are you?" I told him am good!  about my drawings and told him that I am on my new sketch book now(as he was looking for the one drawing he saw before). I told him my focus now is on "lighthouse (& frigates - sailboats). "That's lovely! " he said when he saw that one lighthouse. Finally he is capable of talking. I mean he was so quiet and shy almost aloof. Turned out he's got a British accent. I wonder if he is related to Jacky Chan or the former cook at the Chinese restaurant where I worked before. Nothing's wrong asking questions right? But you know some professionals cannot be questioned just like the "others" who try to stand up above the pedestal. I think Captain Morgan is professional and he's quite good as I read through his Facebook account just that he is misunderstood. 

By the way NEWS that Secretary of War (Defence) Pete Hegseth had fired the top military planner Sylvia, for whatever reason?  Unknown.

Milwaukee Brewers won the 2026 Baseball World Series last night. Yeah why not? Lots of rumor MILLS nowadays.

 We should revive the PULP MILLS. You don't let the forest ravaged by wildfires. Make better use of the forest products through building more houses for humans to live so that nobody has ever to think of moving to Mars which is more  costlier and still impossible to achieve. Had seen the steel containers somewhere in " C CR" where those homeless people live when the driver had refueled his car. OMG! So true that we have too many homeless people in the city where I live. I heard that they were from other cities brought by buses and were asked to live here in the city of C.R. Unbelievable! 

Being Wednesday... and its already Thursday 6 degrees Celsius sure it is cold and still dark at 8 am. Whether to have the return of DST is an opinion and idea that need to be voted by the people who are coming home in dark pitch black and when the weather is cold and it is raining, God knows how many people are praying for their safety back home. 

 

 

 

ARE YOU READY FOR HALLOWEEN? Ready or not...

HALLOWEEN celebration is a family thing now that you have to accompany your children to do the "trick or treating" on every doors in the neighborhood. It is safer that way. If parents are not available, older sister or older mature brothers should keep their siblings safe on the streets. 

Make sure you wear reflectorized suit so that you can be seen in the dark. 

Halloween should be a day and night of fun for kids. 
 

Well it only happens once a year! So make the most of it.

It should be fun and enjoyment for adults too as they probably partying with their peers in all sort of beautiful amazing costumes, scary suits, spooky and yet memorable moments of awe and excitement. Nothing beats a costume party anyway. HAVE FUN & BE SAFE!👻👼👽😇👸👺👾👮👰👱👴👴👳👵👶👷💁💂💃👯👯🙌🙏😸😴

I used to say it again and again when I'm happy. Then yesterday's NEWS of the Filipino-Canadian actor Eric Bauza passed away at age 46. Who is he you may asked. He was the "voice" of Bugs Bunny & Daffy Duck. Just weeks ago when my focus of artworks had something to do with the LOONEY TUNES cast of characters: Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Tweety, etc. etc. Darn it! He is a very talented actor, too young to die. CONDOLENCE TO THE FAMILY of Eric Bauza. R.I.P.

I have here a book that I haven't finished reading. SECRET SKY by JP Mclean given by Maxine. I don't know when I can start to read it again. It's just like Euna asking me if I'm done with my painting which I replied I started on a new sketch book actually. For me there is always TIME...just like the song by the Byrds. 

 

 

  

MONDAY RANTS

 It is the 26th day of October 2026 at 9 degrees Celsius. Not bad really for morning temperature because in previous days we're down to 5 Celsius and no snow yet. Calgary had its snow covered land already. 

In the tropical regions of the Earth it is always summer season. Australia will have its summer while we have winter in December. 

Sure it's nice to go on a cruise and travel around the world. I think that's the best way to go from one country to another on a cruise ship. You have the chance to see at least 5-6 different countries in seven days or two weeks. 

My brother worked in a cruise ship before and had seen so many wonderful countries around the world & the pay is great too. Working in a workplace where many Filipinos work in the same environment and having a great Norwegian Captain of the ship was an added bonus. The Norwegians are great navigators as they are "the Vikings" of the Earth. 

Last night, we saw  an already been watched movie science fiction  "OBLIVION" starring Tom Cruise. Then we also watched the HOME TOWN TAKE OVER IN PORT ALBERNI, BC.

INFERNO?

OH NO!   Billions of people whose religion is based on worship of "statues of the HOLY FAMILY, the SAINTS & MARTYRS. Its not only the ANGELS and Divine Providence they worship but the idols, fake idols, and fake people.

SO ARE WE IN INFERNO OR HELL?

Have you seen Dante's Inferno? How about Dan Brown's Inferno?  What is really Inferno or HELL?

If you had read THE HOLY BIBLE then you'll know what "hell" is described in it. 

Some people's description of HELL IS ABOUT HOT FIRES. Others had HELL as FROZEN. So it depends on your kind of mentality. How your mental and physical body is affected with what the hell you are feeling right now.  

JESUS CHRIST had seen the devil. If a truly Divine Holy Man had seen the devil an ordinary human being can see it too.

RELIGION

 

I am not a Buddhist but Buddhism is such a very interesting and remarkable religion. Just like the Catholics, they are devoted to praying in front of the "Statues." Praying to their Buddha and for devotees of Catholic religion, they pray in front of the Holy Crucifix, Statues of Virgin Mary and the rest of the Saints & Angels. 

It's great to have a religion rather than to have nothing at all. You must believe to be believed. My opinion not yours. 

Some people are atheists...its ok that's not a problem. We have to be respectful of their honesty when it comes to religion and their opinion including ideas of what they had gone through. Sometimes it takes an experience to know the "unknown" and what we have to believe about God's existence. Each experience is different from the others and how it manifest in your own mental and physical attributes and prowess. I BELIEVE IN GOD & HIS MIRACLES. That's all. I don't need to be dramatic. 

PRAYER FOR THE SICK

 WE ALL HAVE STRUGGLES & DIFFICULTIES sometimes the other people around you have more complicated issues compared to you and you become the shock absorber.

Sometimes those struggles are just the obstacles and or the sacrifices. Some people take those sacrifices instead of you.

THE HOLY BIBLE stated that JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS TO SAVE MANKIND. 

The unbelievers will just have to offer themselves as the sacrifices and or the bearer of the brunt, the grudge and all of the ill-effects of the burden.

 MAY THE LORD OUR GOD BLESS EVERYBODY!🙏

LIGHTHOUSE & FRIGATE

It's easy to draw however it is the coloring that I am fickle-minded. Do I like blue or red or just pastel colors or something out of the ordinary? 

Then I settled for this blue lighthouse  because not all lighthouses are red colors like a fire hydrant. 

Some lighthouses are "yellow" wanting to be seen.

Do we need a Lighthouse for today? Oh well I've been collecting lighthouses so we might as well post them.

THE BIG FISH

 The ballots have been counted in Alberta's Referendum and majority of the result has turned in favor of STAYing in Canada. Of course! You are already in Canada why you have to stay out? I mean what's wrong? There is only one thing to know and to prove that Smith wants to be powerful and she wants to have dominion over Alberta. She is a very ambitious woman. She gets what she wants. 75% to 24% ? You know that even if there is no referendum, that there are millions of Canadians in Alberta who are loyal to Canada. It is not to be debated nor to be voted. But because there is always CHECK & BALANCE IN THE GOVERNMENT.

Do you know who audit or check the financial integrity of a country? Are they insiders or outsiders? That's the question. Sometimes do not be too racist with foreigners or immigrants they could be related or affiliated to WORLD BANK & IMF.

THE LIGHTHOUSE FOR TODAY

 My daughter woke up first before all of us here at home and she's already watching the NEWS at 5 am. I woke up at 5:28 am and had my breakfast.

What's the LIGHTHOUSE for today you may ask.

I was supposed to post this yesterday morning but opted posting it  for today instead. 

Hey, Monday today, October 19, 2026. How time flies and 12 more  days to November. Only 7 degrees Celsius. 

Know what? We need the Armed Forces in our own land CANADA, not to be deployed in other countries. Canada needs its own guardians and border patrols. Think of how a peaceful protest and rally turned deadly in Paris... 
 

I hope we have a wonderful weather today that is favorable for all of us. Have a nice lovely day people! 

An APPLE A DAY!

 It's only 5 Celsius today and it is really cold. We might have negative Celsius next week or earlier and hope to God that we wont have early snow. Keep on praying.

Husband was craving for something sweet. He forgot to buy another pumpkin pie when he saw it at Superstore. He likes the first pie he bought. So I am thinking of baking something sweet for him. Surprise! Kuya Romy came to visit and brought a big bag full of fresh apples from their apple trees. They are much bigger than previously harvested variety of apples in September. Husband would probably bake apple crumble.

Speaking of something sweeter my cravings....  and that brings to mind the SWISS LINDT White Chocolates!

  I know you love Reese's. We all have a choice. You could have M&M, Oh Henry, Mars or Oh Henry. Kinder Surprise so good too especially the big egg that has miniatures  inside the shell.  Oh well chocolates great not only  on special occasions Easter, Christmas & Halloween.

 

How about Foods?

 

Burger & fries. Grilled honey garlic Spare ribs + rice + beef chopsuey for Saturday meals. FOODS the body needs to be healthy and strong and the MIND to think and for brainstorming. Ciao for now, thinking of what  to cook for Sunday's lunch and dinner.

ANOTHER LIGHTHOUSE

 If there's a mountain I would like to draw and paint...it is MOUNT EVEREST! Simply because it is the breathtaking tallest, highest mountain in the world. Mountain climbers and enthusiasts would go hiking, climb Mount Everest despite of the incredible risks involved. It is the "mountain to die for!" as what they said.

I already had a sketch of it somewhere in my Art file. 

But for the meantime, let us have another LIGHTHOUSE to enlighten us once and for all.  

 

LIGHTHOUSE WITH BAILEY BRIDGE?

 

LIGHTHOUSES are now my focus in my artworks. Don't know why.Tell me why...ha ha ha! It would be nice to have a superbly perfect lighthouse that can be reached by boats, ships, submarine, helicopter and other planes, all kind of vehicles. It should have secret underground bunker, it should have a fortress hard to break and has bailey bridge.

 

THE LIGHTHOUSE

 I don't know if its true when some people, some families are telling you stories about their struggle in their daily lives because of the high cost of living, knowing they live in a a big house, they drive expensive cars and they struggle? Then my brain started calculating in numbers of how much their mortgage, their unpaid cars, the insurance, the taxes they have to pay because they earned so much. Folks that what is life in Canada, you earned too much, that's hard work but you have to pay income taxes at the end of the year, and all the deductions from monthly salary... more to pay if you don't have children. If you have children at least they received child tax benefits and you also get grocery rebates. However how big your family doesn't mean you had hit a jackpot because you have too many mouths to feed, too many to clothe and buy essentials. The needs never seem to stop. Then you have utilities to  pay such as hydro, internet/TV, cellphone/telephone, gas, insurance, foods, clothes/shoes/bags, school supplies. I know its never ending. At the end of every month nothing really left no play money, maybe just five bucks for lottery ticket. 

It is the same problem, same dilemma, same old story. I don't really know if the latest Election provides solution to burgeoning problem. Because the problem, the crisis had just started during the pandemic of 2020 and its already 2026 and no remedy, no guaranteed solution actually. 

It's the CHANGE that could make a possible outcome that maybe the solution to that problem is simply CHANGE of combination. You know that so called DREAM TEAM that works for the best, for the betterment of society, of a country. People are so tired of the same old lame story.  

What could go wrong when it was "already wrong in the first place." So there must be a change of direction not going to the beaten path.

 So I heard that Mark Z and his family's yacht had passed through Discovery Passage. They were impressed of how huge his yacht almost like a cruise ship. Wow! Really? Why he had chosen Vancouver Island's to pass through?  Wonder why. Oh well, wealthy people can decide where they want to go. I don't care! They have lots of money to splurge or spend and be happy and live comfortably what can you do?  Oh, you wished they spend their money in something that help mankind eh? Like they have to build hospitals for the sick people or at least contribute to health care because their companies whether you like or not contribute to ailments. People getting sick of cancer, kidney problems, people having diabetes, and other malady. That's right! Those billionaires are contributors to global health ill effects physically and mentally. Do you need proof and evidences? 

An acquaintance told me that once Canada becomes "Socialist or Communist" she will be out of this country and move to the USA. But what is USA stands for now?  Just because Alberta has referendum to answer special questions with regards to their loyalty to Canada or not being loyal? Whatever questionnaires they had.  Elon Musk getting into the picture that he posted on his social network that Quebec and Saskatchewan should separate? 

I think there's a lot to unite us than to divide. 

The long division is brutal. ALIENS and CANCER had the same cell division that is common you know why? Thanks MRI & CAT SCAN. Only those who cannot afford to be scanned wont have cancer. Did you hear of poor people with cancer? Nope. FIND THE CURE. is the only honest way to solve it. Not to detect each and everyone if they have cancer. If there's no symptoms, no cancer not to impose they have it even if there is none just because "they" want numbers in billions to join the club.

With millions of people with CANCER? Is that contagious?  

Madam Curie died of cancer because she used herself as the "guinea pig" for the original first MRI & CAT SCAN & X Ray. Whatever! You don't have to believe what I have written here. It is just my opinion. TAKE CARE & BE WELL. 🙏
 

 

THE CRADLE OF CIVILIZATION

 EVER wonder why Canadians, and the Asian people can afford to buy day to day products from clothing, shoes, bags and other accessories? THANK CHINA! 

NOT TOO MANY PEOPLE can afford to buy 100% American and Canadian made goods because they are TOO COSTLY. VERY EXPENSIVE!  Even the Philippines rely on products from China. 

Think about how China becomes the cradle of CIVILIZATION tracing back their old ancient HISTORY. They flourished, they evolved surpassed their Early Holy Bible Characters such as EGYPT & ISRAEL (Jews). They were the first 3 original Tribes mentioned in the Bible. 

Choose your ancestors. Can you find that out? Through DNA ANCESTRY. But knowing each human on Planet Earth had at least 1% of their DNA as Chinese. Did you know?

That's why they are the CRADLE OF CIVILIZATION because they believe in FAMILY VALUES. The family values that are present and reflected in the traditional family value of the Filipinos, Japanese, Malays, Koreans and other Asians. 

THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING DAY

 You know you are so bored when even the topic or subject of your blog is the "banned words" and or highly expletive words no even included in the dictionary. But you heard them over and over again in many movies.

Recently we watched a science fiction movie, it was not really that old but you can recognize Mark Walhberg is younger in that movie THE HAPPENING. Darn it that's a scary movie, more frightening than zombies because that kind of scenario could happen. Because have you been watching the NEWS wherein the escalation of wars are without valid reason for as long as they have the weapons they will keep on fighting, committing genocide, unlawful acts and atrocities. Life has no value for them anymore. I never imagine this kind of unspeakable will happen, first thought WWI & II & the Vietnam were the last of the wars and no more because don't they learned any lesson at all from those wars. Oh, I know the reason why...because those leaders are not in the battlefield. That's what it is, unlike during the ancient wars from the past wherein in Kings and Pharaohs were in the battlefield fighting bloody wars. 

TRUTH IS  that matters long long time ago. The protection and the rights to publicly be known that HISTORY matters. We should all read WORLD HISTORY to preserve the TRUTH so that we cannot be fooled again. THE REAL TRUTH is not about Trump, FGS!

 

DISCLOSURE DAY the movie reminds me of my drawing the "RED QUEEN" side by side with my favourite bird the Cardinal. I have other drawings about  Cardinals. About the movie? It is somewhat different from other Extraterrestrials movie. I don't know why they used "cardinal" for the messenger bird. Uhmm... 

Not because you had that movie. On copyrights issue? Who came first? The egg or chicken?

Thanksgiving Day had been celebrated and we are getting closer to more special feasts in our Calendar of Events such as HALLOWEEN & ALL SAINTS DAY. 

For the meantime, we are having a special Filipino soup: Turkey/ham macaroni soup with veggies (carrots/onions/ celery/tomatoes/ mushrooms/cauliflower) Yummy!

We had Turkey sandwich with cheese + then we had Turkey slices with onions and gravy stew. 

HAPPY 2026 THANKSGIVING!

 

I let my husband cook our Thanksgiving Dinner meal. I didn't cook much Filipino foods. I told myself wont eat much. I don't eat turkey just its stuffing, so I deep fried pompano fish with chili sauce then deep fried springrolls. We had eggrolls for lunch. For dessert we had pumpkin pie with whipped cream baked by Save On Foods, I could taste the strong nutmeg in it.
