I had just finished mopping the floors with sweet scented Febreze, the scents that wont bother me because it freshens the air inside the house. The smell of the food's gone. We also have scented plug-ins and good that it doesn't bother me at all unlike other brands. Then organized my boxes of shoes from the cabinet and dusted them. Did my first batch of laundry and my darling daughter will continue the laundry, to fold them one by one ones dry. Yes, she is being helpful most of the time. Then told my husband who was busy watching the NEWS back & forth changing channels for Sports, that I'm ready to go back to my cave (computer station).
This is what I like, housework's finished at 8:30 am because we don't have tenants in the next door as they moved out not bothering with the noise of the laundry machine. The owner of the townhouse came to fix the rooms from that vacant house and maybe next week or maybe next month we'll have new neighbor. I don't know how much would be the new rent for that up & down: 3 bedrooms + 1 1/2 bathrooms with 4 appliances. It was rented before for $2,500/month, no garage and no workshop. I think they have free wifi.
This is what happened when I tried to post or blog about vacant homes or vacant apartment suites, usually out of curiosity curious people tend to show up or find "where that house is located." We have peeping toms (lol) curious seekers wanting to know where it is... or there's always drivers parking or stopping by to look out... Anyway, its up for the owner of the townhouse to advertise.
Tuesday today and my day off and my turn to be the Chef at home so that my hubby could relax. Plan for lunch? We had left over Salisbury steak with gravy but only good for one member of the family, so I'm thinking of just having fries and chicken nuggets (big sizes) for lunch. Easy peasy. Too early to cook though.
I'm always asked what's my plan for the weekends and then after weekends somebody has to ask what I did during the weekends aside from doing household chores. It is almost a routinary check up on what's keeping me busy. Oh darn, know what when I'm relaxing I'm watching horror movies: zombies, aliens & vampires. My family don't get out much. We did a lot of going out when my children were younger. But because my hubby and me worked and we managed 31 unit townhouse in Rockland. But since my children are grown ups, ages 31 & 32 and because of health reasons better stay at home most of the time. Old people are vulnerable to many health issues, you don't want to be a "strainer or filter for those germs." I know some other humans would like the crowd being happy with the crowds and everything as in not so much happy with their comfort zone, unhappy with the people inside their homes and they freak out. If being outside is their priority let them be outside. If they are happy being at home let them be because that's not your problem.
With the high cost of living why spend too much time outside? I know, gas and oil too expensive for ordinary people nowadays. (203.90/full tank). People should conserve. Otherwise, war will eventually happen and it would be uncontrollable because for whatever reason how many countries dig their precious land for extraction which of course can cause environmental damage and pollution then it becomes wasteland. Inhabitants in major cities should share a ride. From what I heard, ration of gasoline in other countries are up to the breaking point when there is limited of supply that will only last for a month. Without source of fuel, the economic downturn of ones country could lead to shutdown of major industries and collapse of the economy and its civilization will lead to catastrophic consequences. It happened in Cuba. Then here comes, Russia without fear has helped Cuba from the brink of total collapse. There are still good Samaritans out there.
CANADA has gas and oil extraction in Alberta, however the problem is the pipelines from Alberta to BC. First thought they already have pipelines in Terrace? The pipelines that they thought would be an environmental disaster was put on hold because Premier David Eby and First Nations were not consulted about it. Only time and better situation and better explanation of what should have been done or the solution to such conflict could eventually open the pipelines.
For now, let us hope & pray that we have enough reserves, enough energy to do what is right.
