Therefore, I Exist In Battery Island

While the rich and wealthy people travel and shop around the world  we moved from different houses in the island every two years. From the east to the west, to the south then to the northern side. I don't know what term to call this kind of tenancy. Sort of experimentation? How the mighty wind blows? Where is the hottest part of the ground? How water runs and flows in certain geographical site and how silent or noisy humans are? Or could it be where the spot of the land is alkaline and what part of the ground is acidic. Are we in battery island? Uhm, don't think so. No compass works in battery island.

Where magnetosphere is located and what part has no magnetos. I could be an environmentalist and a sociologist, maybe I am a mentalist, realist, idealist and existentialist...therefore I exist!

I had my practicum in sociology and botany when I was in College, outside of my alma mater and I'm still practicing until now for fun. Practice, practice, practice. How traffic congestion brought so much indifference and severe migraines to every commuters. How to solve the problem of over population in one demographic area and how to solve and provide solution to the burgeoning problem of population explosion. Hard to solve. There are millions of solutions but after solving one problem after another, other countries seem to dump their own population to an already chaotic problem in another country. The brain drain and the bird's brain. lol.  For those in search of period... ha ha ha just teasing you with that tiny dot called period. You'll be glad if you have an early menopause. OMG! So many nosy people in Canada and they are members of the Media. Whisper, keep on whispering and murmuring like as if the walls have no ears.

Why there is rainfall in another part of the town while it's dry on the other side. Darn those clouds are ever moving and unsteady. Why there is snow on one part of the city and not any snow nor its been touch by snow in another part within that same city. How hot is the ground surface of one's land and cold on another surface of the land within one city. What's underneath the ground?

Whatever! Wether you like it or not...expect the unexpected when it comes to weather temperature and humidity and all the changes that takes place within your environment. We only can control what your money can pay or the extension of how much wealth you have and own, the budget allocated by certain municipality to control the extent of nature's conservancy. For the house owners who felt trapped in their own homes and can't move they managed to just go for a yearly vacation in other countries and cruising is the economical way of getting away to escape in luxury. For those who cannot afford there is computer. Travel  through the internet.

Of course nobody can control mother nature's wrath. It's always been God has the ultimate power to control and make use of the world within and its nature of God's plan.

Work, work, work!

 It was windy and wet yesterday and today. Thank goodness, my hubby was able to cut the grass at the yard 3 days ago. Our backyard is no longer the forest that we once admired for its trees of maples, oak, douglas fir, spruce, cotton trees, alder, and other forest ferns and shrubs. No more sightings of wild animals like bear, wild deer, raccoons, ravens, robins, chickadees, and humming birds. We can still see birds of different species up in the sky and rooftop. I think those white birds are seagulls or snowbirds? There are many blackbirds mostly crows and few ravens and they don't stay on our backyard simply no trees there and probably they will come gather at your yard if you feed them or you scatter and spread some bird seeds on the yard.

After lawn-mowing using his tractor, the yard looks so amazing. It's winter but the yard looks gorgeous right as if its  spring time. I don't really know if we'll receive snow this time of the year.
It's great that we have enough ground to plant some vegetables next year.

 Did you know that vegetables at winter time is super expensive? The group of veggies above photo is worth $40. And at winter time most of fresh veggies and fruits are imported from other countries that's why. We decline to buy lettuce because of its rumored "e coli" whether they are real news or fake news better not buy lettuce.

Know what? You really have to wash vegetables of all kinds. I washed vegetables especially the green leafy vegetables 4x using a bowl and then let water run down those veggies for 30 seconds to make sure they are clean, no bugs hanging around, no sand or soil, and just to make sure that my family is eating fresh clean veggies. If you are paranoid, better cook all your veggies according to desired temperature. For veggies you are not to cook right away, better place them inside your fridge in the vegetable crisper to keep them always fresh and cool.

 Hubby bought new light fixture for the ceiling above our dining set. OMG! Now I can see! lol.
A beautiful fancy light fixture was once hanged above there but it was quite heavy and the 5 bulbs are too expensive. We only need two bulbs in it instead of 3 in this new 16 " pewter finish mounted ceiling lamp fixture.

 He also replaced the light fixture above the ceiling at the hallway with 12" pewter finish flush mount ceiling lamp.

 Supposedly I was about to bake my own cake and cupcake then suddenly my husband was in the mood to bake using our breadmaker machine. He measured all the ingredients correctly and poured them inside the metal container, cover and press the correct time and set the timer. After the dough was properly been mixed and out from the machine, his hands massaged the dough like magic and set it for few minutes until the dough rised, etc. etc. and put the desired size of raw buns in the oven...

Presto! Yes! It's FRESH! HOT PANDESAL!!!!!!! OMG! My husband can bake hot pandesal. Hot pandesal at night!! The butter melts on these hot buns and they are superbly delicious. My kids love it. I love it too. Only 3 remaining hot buns for this morning and these buns are for my breakfast.

Crazy, Twisted Plots

Rescue mission proved to be futile. How many rescue missions did the original TWD (The Walking Dead) original cast had done in the past? Many rescue missions, can't count them all but every time the one who rescues get to sacrifice their own life. It's unfair? The changing tides. Pioneers being replaced by much stronger, younger candidates. It's more like fascist movement.

EVOLUTION the latest, the season finale of the TWD begins with the brave Jesus, Aaron and Daryl watching from a distance group of zombies in almost  circle formation. They seemed that the formation of these 140 zombies were absurd and dubious. Ambiguosity is the name of the game. Just three of them + a dog over 140 zombies? They decided to stay away from them but then their noise is somewhat different from ordinary zombies that Daryl threw a mickey mouse clock on their path. They were able to locate Eugene from inside the dark barn, with their flashlights and the obedient dog  they knew that Eugene was there hiding underneath pile of  hay, under the basement. They rescued Eugene and then the zombies arrived. They escaped from the zombies wrath and end up at the gate of the cemetery. They fought real hard, Aaron and Eugene managed to get through the gate while Jesus fought alone using his martial arts expertise and using his sword. There was swarm of zombies everywhere, fighting alone in a foggy atmosphere in the darkest night while the rest of the cast watched in agony and fear, Jesus was taken by surprise. Where is their gun? Nobody has gun? These group of zombies are different from the abnormal zombies, they evolved. It turned out they were just wearing zombie masks to blend in with other zombie walkers. What now, Jesus is dead?! Jesus entrance to TWD is somewhat one of the most fascinating story of a thief and with houdini style of escape. Allowed himself to be used as the bridge to Hilltop and Alexandria and had given a home to Maggie. The deal between Maggie and Hilltop owner to eliminate the Saviors who were murdered while they sleep in heavenly peace causing the death of Glenn and Abraham. Gregory was later killed by hanging under the order of Maggie because if its not him then it's her. Story of revenge and manipulation, yet they made grave mistake when they let Lucifer Negan live.

JESUS the Savior, the Redeemer, the Son of God is alive! Jesus the actor in TWD is somewhat dead  (Tom Payne). Eugene vs Jesus and they had chosen Eugene! Ask Robert Kirkman why the script and story of TWD is crazy?  The next episode is ready by February 2019. The presence of insurgence, the underworlds and maze runners in The Walking Dead is sure fiery, creepy, darker and morbid. With Negan out from his cell and a shovel came hunting one of the houses in Alexandria. There was a storm. What do you think? TWD feat with FEAR?

That's another long time waiting. I think we should focus on the fast approaching Holidays. Twenty nine days to Christmas. Jesus is alive as a baby born in Bethlehem.

The Energizer

 My hubby went to work and then before coming back home he went shopping. Actually he was just to browse for what's the great deals on Black Friday yesterday. He didn't buy any television set because we  already have 3 TV (one for every room) and one TV we never even use. I know that our Sanyo 50" TV is still performing in perfect condition so not enough to be replaced even if that wide screen is 7 years old. The Samsung 32 " TV is already 4 years old and the other one is RCA 32" TV is 6 years old. Truth is would like to have a bigger, wider flat screen TV that measures at least 75" to 85"

I love TV and it's remarkable use and benefit to mankind. I love to watch programs with value, with informative news on economics, home improvement/renovation, food network, tv series, politics, education and science including medicine. For the sports enthusiasts they prefer watching sports on TV at the convenience of their own homes. You wont believe that you'll learn more from your TV than from your teacher. You just have to choose wisely and smartly the right channels and programs. Autistic people learned so much from watching TV. For the non-autistics who cannot function without the aid of actual humans who guide them from every aspects of learning and you can't blame them. They want talking to actual humans face to face.

Computers on sale? Not too many on sale when it comes to computers and laptops. I couldn't believe that computers are getting costly. There will be a time when nobody can afford computers (and its components)  laptops and cellphones. Not long ago when you can purchase a computer for only $350 (500 GB) now that 500GB HD computer can be purchased at $1,000+. WTH. What makes them so expensive at present time? Because they are refurbished? That's so weird right? Sorry being sarcastic.

Maybe its because of the Law of Supply and Demand. If the demand is high for the product the price is low and if the price is high then the demand is low. It's just that the price tags should be lowered based on strategy by managers of department stores. Lower the price of computers and laptops and probably you'll have an SRO or mad rush of buyers at your department store.

Husband didn't buy new pair of shoes. Instead he bought this...

We used so much batteries. I mean our digital cameras are absolutely eating too much Energizer batteries. My Canon used two sets of batteries after 10 shots or every ten shots. Strange. My children also have digital cameras. Then our TV's remote control monitors (channel changer) need batteries. Our flashlights need batteries. Our clock needs battery. My Gucci wristwatch needs a different kind of battery. Energizer keeps us going and going... j/k

Year 2018: Let Us Stay In Current

I missed this AD from Superstore. Instead we had that plastic globe with assorted Lindt chocolates inside.

 Most of our stuff were not food but cleaning supply, few veggies, and dairy products.

Why cleaning supply is priority for me? Simply because a clean and orderly house is pleasant to live and stay for the long duration of the lease. An old house has distinctive smell so better clean house and its surrounding. An air-tight surrounding with tight insulation has smell of course especially if there is a fireplace or gas fireplace. You cook inside the house and the only open vent is the air exhaust fan therefore the smell from the food you cooked lingers within inside the house. Use your common sense. A clean and sanitized house is safe and of course I want all the members of my family safe and healthy. It's worst when you have a chimney and you use firewood. Probably use cedar firewood to smell its aroma. Worse of all if you don't have febreze aroma therapy. Or you can let your door and windows open for the long duration of winter and have your hydro skyrocketed so uphigh and end up in poverty. Well, who knows and how people will light up their house and yard with Christmas lights. It's their own home and yard and if they want glitters and sparkles it's their problem not ours. they can even use the stargazers/lasers like halo and aurora borealis and let it shine.

We have frozen meat, fish salmons and halibut) and bags of frozen peas and corn in the freezer.  I know, in the Philippines we usually buy fresh produce and fresh fish and freshly slaughtered and butchered meat from cattle, pigs and ? No venison, lamb, kangaroo and moose in Philippine's wet market.  Beef, chicken, and pork are favored by Filipinos when it comes to meat products. Lately, I heard that meat from alligators and crocodiles are being sold in specialty stores. In Australia, kangaroo meat is the most sought-after meat for their burgers. Yuck! Hard to believe but according to many Aussies the population of kangaroos have exploded. It's now 20 kangaroos/person. Whatever! No wonder why some people are so jumpy and hoppy. Please don't include frog meats in sausages and hotdogs. Label the food and meat products, don't cheat your customers. Cheating is punishable and is a crime. Problem is those punishers are the ones committing the crime...sometimes!


Tomorrow is Black Friday SALE for most stores and department stores in Canada and the US. I don't know how much percentage will take place or in effect or what sale tags are worthy of going to those stores following the Black Friday sale deals. 50% to 70% DEALS on every product are worth buying or just wait for BOXING DAY?

Don't really know if I have to rush out for Black Friday sale. It's my hubby who needs a brand new shoes and winter boots. Memory card for my digital camera can wait. I noticed that nobody puts an ad on memory cards for cameras anymore.

More television sets are on SALE, they are the door crasher...
Who said you wont learn from watching TV when you have channels and programs for LEARNING. National Geographic, The Knowledge Network, the latest news on TV Networks so that you'll know what's happening around the world, financial aspect, marketing, banking,  and trading plus stock exchange, movies and series with moral lessons for adults and kids, cartoon shows that can make your kids happier and laugh (at least they will learn how to laugh) survival skills in times of war, apocalypse, virus infection, knowledge on how you protect yourself from predators and predatory financial monsters. A lot to learn on science, technology, psychology and medicine including nuclear medicine. etc, etc, etc.

Smart or Intelligent?

We moved in to this new home sometime in September 27, 2018 and only last week that we installed the talking smoke and carbon monoxide alarm up on the ceiling. I think every home should have this kind of monitor and everyone has to install this kind of monitor device. Why? It's for your own good and safety. With intelligent technology at present time this device knew when a situation calls for alarm. It knows when it's real true or false. Wow! that's so incredible! We need more intelligent solution to different kind of problems.

There are too many devices and monitors, gadgets and machines that are beneficial for mankind they are all over our yin-yang. Computers, cellphones, digital cameras, surveillance cameras and webcams, clock with hidden cameras, motion detectors, showers with hidden cameras, lamp/ceiling fixtures with cameras and monitor device for playpen, it's like everywhere there are monitors out there trying to watch and guard everybody that moves. It's made or created for security actually.

The BIOS weather  gadget is a monitor device for the temperature and humidity inside our house. I can't remember if I bought this one or was given to us as a gift for Christmas. Anyway it is indeed an advantage whether I like it or not...I love it.

Are You A Cocoon?

I was thinking of starting my sewing project. I had the evergreen fabric that I bought in 2014, had them cut out already measured to the pattern I had designed but because I gained so much weight now...even if I sew this for a dress don't think it will fit me. I don't know if I can find the same kind of fabric at fabricland or maybe have to buy lace. Whatever. Just to let you know that even in sewing a simple project can be very complicated.

In creating story, something that is easy and simple can be very complicated and can be a source of a pain when it's not planned or plot is twisted. Or when it's risky or it can cause a simple budget to explode. Sewing project is not supposed to create so much trouble and not to cause stress and pressure. Sewing is a hobby that needs concentration and to do it must be a form of relaxation so that the finished dress becomes a masterpiece. Now you know why painter needs that kind of relaxation that doesn't need pressure just to show that it works. Chefs and cooks should have that kind of good soothing fresh  air and relaxing atmosphere to create their superbly amazing dish. Fresh air? lol at the kitchen?  Putting pressure on any kind of work can be vital to the outcome of the finished product. Pressure tactic is only applied when there is a tight-competition and it's a contest of  required standard and or when graft and corruption is taking place. I could be wrong but what's the cause of so much pain and troubles at work in certain workplace?

You must learn and observe how silkworms spin their silk threads around their bodies and how wonderful those silkballs  or the cocoons they produced if there's no disturbance to their spinning the result of the cocoon is purely white and perfect. Any disturbance to its spinning caused the uneven structure of the cocoons and they end up imperfect and dark in colors.

To apply pressure on ourselves is just the tip of the iceberg. To challenge oneself is another story.

My Plan Is Not Your Plan

One of the reasons why I replaced the "angelic theme of my blog" it's because I'm a SAINT. Ahahahaa! No kidding. The main computer "THE BRAIN" knew it all.

Whether you are from the BRAIN TREE FAMILY or not, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know who are smart and stupid. Pardon me for being so blunt but I wont be singing "you're beautiful it's true but I wont ever be with you?))) Sayang ganda pa nmaan ng tune, ng melody... na naging melancholia ata.

I should not blog today because it's Sunday but then sayang kung hindi ako makapgblog dahil sa mga upsetting drama of so many judas. There are two Judas (es) Judas Escariot and Judas Thadeus. Judas Thadeus is a good man and righteous while Judas Escariot is a real bad ass. Or was he real bad when he just followed Jesus command to fulfill the prophesy? Jesus asked him to go and do what he was asked to do (by whom?). He was asked to pursue the plan and the plan is to sell him for 30 pieces of silver. Judas was reluctant to do what Jesus asked him to do but Jesus said, "Go!" Without Judas the prophesy is not fulfilled. By the way this doesn't connect with TWD. My blog doesn't connect with anybody's plan. Make your own blog and make your own plan.

Whatever! What 30 pcs. of silver got to do with it? You really have to be fluent in Arameic.

Are you that fluent in the English language? Are you fluent in Tagalog (Filipino)? Or you are struggling with the two languages? What is easy for you to use in communication?

You wont believe it but there are so many  hindrances in learning, acquiring and using basic languages know why? It's because the language being spoken at their homes are different from what is being used in schools and the workplace. The medium of instruction in many establishments are supposedly in English but other people who are foreigners (from other countries who would rather stick to their noses and communicate in a way that is easy for them). They wont bow down even if you feed them with wheat.

My Blog's New Background Image

Are you surprised when you open my blog to a different blog themeplate/background? I know, you love those cute angelic faces and those cute little angels before;

however I am so tired and bored at them lately. No pun intended. I have to be creative and artistic in choosing what I post in my blogs. This time I have the photograph I snapped in 2012 (colorful dragonfly and mums) Some of them are intentional and motivated by some purposes that may lead to "expectations and reactions from my readers." The stimuli. Don't ask for stimuLUS or else (loose elastic) it will make your underwear fall down.

A change of scenery sometimes can bring a humdrum boring situation in life. It feels the void and make new challenging ways to compete with others and with yourself.

Humans tend to be affected with  sudden change of environment, weather and overall standard of living and everyone is affected in the same way when those changes took place abruptly, suddenly without notice. Re: Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy.

While few people can adjust  automatically and take it as if nothing had happened. They have some sort of flexibility to life's situation because they are so used to that. Their experience is related to what happened to them in the past.

There is nothing wrong with this beautiful image above. I like it. The transparent wings of the gorgeous dragonfly is quite amazing and you don't need to use magnifying lens to see through the geometric design. The mums or chrysanthemums is picturesque, the fuschia pink color is vivid and bright.

UPDATE: I frequently changed the theme design of my blogs because it gets so boring sometimes. I love those cute angels above (image) however when I had it as my theme or template design for whatever reason my blog gets haywire or sometimes gets in disarray as if "too many hands" are typing in my keyboard.

Friday Sarcasm

I don't know if you like watching "Young Sheldon" and "Superstore" shows because I found those two "programs or show" very interesting in terms of what is reality is although the 2 shows are only 30 minute per episode. Bitin.

Young Sheldon showed signs of emotional distress whenever  his parents are having a fight or argument. The good thing about it Sheldon's grandma Mimaw is there to provide some form of clarity. Then the old professor is there too to assist and support the whole family. That's what an extended family should be doing not being selfish, not bias or one sided,  and not being high pride as if they are riding their high horses. They don't have that crabby mentality so to speak. The old people do not have to compete with young kids and that should be a lesson for everyone. Give them the space they need to grow up and learn from mistakes and if they cannot handle the confrontation then provide them with the right tools, be symbolic as much as possible so that they can reach "stardom." LOL. That's what it is everyone has a voice box and if that person cannot reach it then it would be so dramatic for everyone. When comedy is far better to bear with.

What's new at Superstore? Lying to parents can be very stressful and most of all if the lies and deception was a succession of 3 years. You should make it 4 years, Ben. Tsk! Tsk!

Yeah, being sarcastic here. Today is Friday, November 16, 2018. What to do at this boring hour?  The sun is up! OMG! There's no fog! That's a miracle. Maybe I will do my laundry on our washing machine.

Praying that snow will never have a landfall at the island because I heard that "no snow tire, get off the road sign to be implemented." Sure! How tall that snow will be on the road? Higher than Mount Everest?

Stay In Current and Live

OMG! The height of winter season in Canada started on October 29, 2018 however at the interior part of Canada their winter wonderland had just began earlier than anticipated. Actually wishing for no snow this year. Or you can pray for snow and pay the price and shovel your own surrounding.

It was a week ago when my hubby is in search for snow tires or winter tires for his truck. It's easy to find the snow tires at Canadian Tire, Costco and other places where tires are available but for hefty price of $1,500 + tax for 4 snow tires? That's really, really costly! That's equivalent for a month's rent for the house!! And you think that living in Canada is so amazing! Start adding all the expenses for hydro, telephone, internet, gas, medical (forget about dental), groceries (food supply), maintenance/cleaning supply for the house (because the home where you live should be always clean, sanitized and well ventilated for any kind of season: winter, spring, summer and autumn), insurance for the vehicle and gasoline to make it run and other miscellaneous exp. Really there is nothing left to spare. Nobody lives rich or wealthy in this part of the country other than those billionaires whoever they are.

If you heard news about the PM having a grand vacation courtesy of their old Dad's richy/wealthy friend it's because life in Canada is hard as rock! No matter how you work so hard and how much you save...it's not enough. It can never be enough for people who work  so hard and for workers who are not into graft and corruption. Hard life.

Then you thought you have better way of living in another country because you were able to send your kids to private schools, to prestigious universities but you never look at your homes the way you see the future. You have kids with College diploma but you end up with no homes. I know certificates are very important in search for jobs. It's practical. You can find a job and you can earn wages but not enough to buy a house and lot, maybe if you win the lotto. One in six million people. That's equivalent to 1/6 million being struck by lightning.

TRUTH is: You really have to graduate either from High School or College to acquire diploma. But you know you have to be smart and practical. Diploma is nothing without work experience. You can start working within your own limits even at your parent's business or relatives' business or maybe you know about connection. Nobody in this world get the job without connection except former FBI Director Hoover.

Thinking about problems made us sick. Did you have anti-flu shot?

California was ravaged by demonic fire. Again? Why California always have wildfire? The blaze was so intense that according to the news,  millions to billions of dollar- properties were gone and destroyed. So many Hollywood celebrities are now homeless. Their lifelong hard-earned wealth had turned into ashes, but they are alive. How many casualties and how many died from this wildfire? It is in the news. You have to turn on your television set and watch for the current TV news. Hindi po ito chismiss mga stars nga nagcucuento sa natupok nilang bahay na nilamon ng apoy. Kung gusto mo nang chismiss na fake news sa ibang channel ka maghanap ng katsismisan.

It Doesn't Matter

For professional bakers and cook you don't need to be acquainted with too much flood of directions and the "how to do it" and the book of recipe and ingredients and what utensils to use, expensive mixing bowls and baking wares to choose from. It comes naturally for professional bakers and chef. You give them the ingredients and they know what do after that. Wala nang chechebureche lots of planning and lots of drama. My own way of cooking and baking is just the natural way walang kadramahan at walang kaOAyan.

In every finished baked goods and every finished dish there's only one important thing to remind everyone is the taste of the food. IT MUST BE DELICIOUS! It must be delicious, if not must be deliriously appetizing!

You put too much ingredients, you bought expensive garnishing, the food looks pretty awesome, the presentation is almost perfect  but the taste is more important.

So let me tell you this again and again...it doesn't matter! It doesn't matter whether the food is costly enough to break your wallet, or the food looks great because it doesn't matter. The food should be delicious and you can eat it, its edible and it can make your stomach happy!

Easy Does It

I was standing right there beside the door of our home and I felt some kind of draught (draft). I told my husband about it who was busy watching the HGTV about couples who are into business of doing renovation for old houses they purchased and turned them into almost brand new houses and made huge profit. Nice!

My husband knew all about it but he was busy with his work before and because I remind him of such draft now he's there (photo of him) unscrewing the old bottom door sealer. He replaced it with new bottom door seal that doesn't need any screw. This new bottom seal can be installed by sliding it at the bottom of the door. There are three easy steps:

1. Measure the width of the bottom door.

2.Cut the door seal to length with a hacksaw.


 3.Slide the door seal under the base of the door with the taller seal-side facing inside.

Easy. Now look at it without screw! It fits perfectly to the bottom of the door and no more draft. That would lessen cold air passing through saving energy during winter.

Next? The house has some dings and spots that need some kind of filling. First, the wall that has been mounted and glued with a mirror left a "scar on the wall" when the mirror was pulled away. I'm glad my husband is a handyman and a carpenter. To call a carpenter to do this kind of work? You will have to pay $50/hour (contract) (house call, right immediate fixing probably $75) depends on the kind of work imposed and materials to be installed or fixed.

The Machines

 My husband and my son hauled the big capacity washer (front load) out from the laundry room to the utility trailer and drove it to its final destination. The washing machine is heavy as if its made of solid steel and you know what I can't even move it.

Next, my husband bought and brought home a used washing machine, half the price of a brand new Kenmore washing machine, top load, big capacity washer and it's white not blue. Two machines that need a special room in our home. Why not? They are like "humans" in their proper, efficient way of doing work faster without tantrums. By the way this top load washing machine is lighter in weight compared to the other machine.

It works well! I can't believe that it works like brand new. I think top load laundry machine is better than the front load. Our dryer machine works perfectly as it is. Thank God!

So, I wont be out there washing clothes and hanging our clothes and towel to dry outside the yard. It's really not good to hang clothes outside because of the many birds above and at one time when they seemed to appear in a place like some people are feeding them on their yard and on top of their roofs. Then the presence of foggy atmosphere that nobody can control. Besides, it's really getting cold now at this time of the year. November 10, 2018 Saturday and Sunday tomorrow.

Same old boring fart news on TV? First thought the Midterm election will set a record of brand new NEWS. Like old bygones be bye gone! Unearthing old news from the past is somewhat a matter of bringing the infectious dead. Darn! We all should stay away from such virus. They got nothing to talk about wasting everybody's time and they are once again trying to offend us.

It's like the beginning and the end of everyone's expectation. That it is better to set our focus on something else like watching NEW EPISODES of  Young Sheldon, The Goldberg, Superstore, Hell's Kitchen, The Walking Dead (3 episodes left to be unraveled after the departure of the lead character Rick Grimes airlifted by helicopter together with Ann who had a deal with Rick and the helicopter pilot to a destination unknown), then the Good Doctor, The Gifted, Survivor and The SEAL TEAM who were asked to help other countries in their fight with terrorism in the Middle East, Mumbai, and last night in Mexico. After Adam's death, Jason can no longer mourn of the death of his own wife when his own Bravo Team is confronted with their own loss and if he will not act as the leader of this elite team then they all perish from all kinds of attack (physically, mentally and emotionally) not to mention it demotes the morale of his team against oppressors. The dangers of their team being uncovered and unsealed? When they are supposedly undercover.

Finished reading the 447th pages of the "Courtney's War" yesterday after dinner. I have to read it right immediately because my husband was waiting for the chance to read it too. It was a compelling saga of the love affair between Saffron Courtney and Gerhard Von Meerbach. SPIES. Torn thousand miles apart because of war, famine and rise of virus infected humans, humans who were infected with typhus and uncontrollable death of millions (not only Jews) what else is the secret within the novel of Wilbur Smith and David Churchill? It's for you to find out. I tried to skip pages that need censorship but you know WS's novels are graphic and elaborate details of what matured readers want to read. The Holy Bible is also for matured readers that's why the Spanish friars during the 18th Century informed the "Indios" to not read the Bible because you will have a different malicious interpretation of the story.

This morning news about the 2018 National Mid-term election happened already in the U.S. and the results were plastered all over news network everywhere around the world. It's a WIN/Lose for the Republicans and Democrats. It has it benefit and advantages for both parties. Not that bad!

Then suddenly a brand new thief arrived. The member of the Parliament Toni Clement (Conservative Party) was caught in a scandal. Darn! What a bold new move for Canada.

In today's time you really can't get the whole show to yourself. Unless if you own the news station. People get tired, bored and impatient. They were already too tired of the same old trick.

Show and tell is not only common to old people. Show and tell becomes a norm in the schools even in kindergarten where young  kids are allowed to have a platform box and stage of their own to show and tell.

Connecting The Dots?

+ Naturally I am busy most of the time and if I'm not busy I will find some things to do like getting busy on my crafts, writing, blogging, or reading anything that sets the mood. Because my housework was done for the day, I decided to rent the video of  the "Tombraiders" starring Alicia Vikander. It was actually a movie that catapulted Angelina Jolie to stardom. It's okay, Alicia is also athletic and smart and she is very talented. Remember Alicia Vikander is the "Ex Machina."

What else is the mystery regarding Lara Croft? The father who is missing in action? What lies in the Croft family tomb? So many secrets and the continuation of unearthing and unraveling happened in one of the mystic islands in the Eastern part of Asia. If you haven't watch this movie, maybe you should because the story is connected with other movies ( Bridge On The River Kwai) (Da Vinci Code) that you once watched and asked yourself the proverbial "Why?"

I was halfway into watching this movie when my husband arrived and showed what he bought from QF.

OMG! He finally found the book "Courtney's War!" This book was not available everywhere until they had it in Overwaitea (Save On Food) and then gone...sold out! All of a sudden it was there at Quality Foods book section.

COURTNEY's WAR by Wilbur Smith

 I was on page 39 the first day and continuation to page 67. I will have time to read it after when I'm not busy.

 He also bought a bag of my favorites such as shrimps,  Lindt white chocolates, and soy sauce. We use soy sauce in all our food. He can't find stock of  China Lily brand, so we'll try this brand Golden Dragon. Uhm, don't have to bake carrot cake.

With all the treats, can't say no to the laundry waiting for my hands to get into. That's nice!

So, I apologize for the mistakes of others as if I'm a Canadian already. LOL. Not yet. I am a proud Filipino! I have the many gifts and privy of being a Filipino, rather being a Filipina. It's all listed after World War II. To think that so many original Americans would rather become Filipino citizen. The millions of Japanese would like Filipino citizenship, they so long dreamed of it that's why they tried to conquer Philippines. They knew the privilege of becoming one. The Chinese, the Malays, East Indians and many other nationalities long dreamed of being in the Philippines since 15th Century. They crossed borders so many times through the land bridges. Then the land bridges were bombed and scattered and had resulted to multiple islands. They traveled through the tunnels to the caves, from mountain to mountains and coast to coast, land water and air. They tried the blood compact. Inter-racial marriages happened from generation to generation.  The former Pres. Reagan, former Pres. Roosevelt and former Pres. Abraham Lincoln they all want to be Filipinos. Abraham could be a Filipino not American. America the ancient America is a part of Philippines.

You don't know about it eh? He he he! Now you know.

I don't know when my husband will buy the latest of Wilbur Smith's book novel about the Courtney's. I wonder what happened to Saffron and Gerald. What is their next adventure and what countries they have to travel. COURTNEY's WAR is another bestseller novel of the famous novelist. We have the whole entire collection of his books, except one.

Looking at those colorful falling leaves. My husband finally raked those leaves from the ground and thrown them in the dumpsite. It's been yard work lately and had put a strain on himself. His back is so sore and in great pain (stiff neck) that he took and swallowed extra strength Tylenol caplets. Those leaves? You think they are light weight? Think again. Tons upon tons of those dry leaves could give you backache. They are like crosses being hauled on your shoulder to bear. Imagine Santa carrying the bag of gifts for you on Christmas eve.

What if suddenly there's a snow  at the island? Is that a miracle or what? Well, keep on praying that snow white wont fall at the island. Let us see how many will pray for snowfall and how many will pray for no snow. How far and wide the blanket of snow will be seen from the ISS (International Space Station). The logistics on how many people with shovels and snow blowers? How many will shovel their front door to shove the snow away? How many people will help shove the snow from the road and sidewalk? How many people will stay at home or go to work? How many accidents on the road which I don't want anybody getting hurt. How many respondents to rescue? How many people with heart and conscience?

For the most part, I don't like snow anymore. My husband is not paid for clearing snow even if its hardwork or the hardest part of  being a caretaker/manager for townhouse and apartments. Snow is heavy. To shove a pile of snow to the other side of the road so that it wont pile up to 10 ft. or clearing of snow so that no one will fall. Try shoving snow yourself and find out how hard and heavy snow is.

The snow that had fallen on the North Pole? It tilted the Earth and the rotation of the axis is slower than you can imagine. That's how heavy the snow and iceberg. On getting even, you get the flood and suffer from the meltdown.

Sorry! I Apologize For Being So Annoying.

I first thought it would be nice to bore you about the story of the washing machine...AGAIN!!!!? Ha ha ha! I know how to stretch a very long story of one subject as if having one track mind. Just like Stephen King being lost to the novels of Wilbur Smith's.

Nah, I could send a message to the manufacturer of laundry machines to keep the quality of their machines in perfect working condition so that every penny is worth it. A washer that is worth more than $700 + tax is huge sum of money to be spending for imperfect machine. That no technician would dare fix it.

At this point in time that I enjoy washing clothes by hand, who want a washing machine that cannot twist and spin and wrung the clothes, towels and comforters? Or washing machine that cannot do the function of doing it right?

Darn! Time is money and time is gold. It's already 6:40 am now and it's pitch black outside. Tonight, don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour for DST.

Clematis

I couldn't believe this flower could stand the cold. I first thought clematis is a flower that thrives at summer time on hot temperature but since they can then it's nice looking at them at our backyard. Unlike the dahlia plants that we have to keep the bulbs in the garage for safekeeping so that we can plant at spring time and because we don't want those bulbs being subjected to frozen temperature.

The climbing clematis can stay out in the yard, on the ground and even if winter arrives, even if it snows outside this plant will keep on living no matter what. That's good.

I would probably have better picture of clematis at springtime because the picture of this flower above had received so much changes due to harsh weather condition.

From Halloween to All Saint's Day

Supposedly when Halloween is over, then it's the day for the saints. Whoever your saint is that you adore, cherish in your heart or patronize. Whoever gives you miracles?

Last night, we had 39 children who rung our door bell and greeted the proverbial "trick or treat?" Each child (mostly toddlers with their parents who accompanied them door to door in the neighborhood) received bag of chips. We didn't give any candies or chocolates because its all chips we have on those boxes. Later on at past 7 pm older kids came with their peers. You wont believe how much those fabulous costumes they were wearing. OMG! One boy wore a costume that is custom made that is right fit to his body like as if he is a dragon with all its tail but without fire. I mean you know he is not a real dragon. How to tame your dragon? It could be a dinosaur. Face painting. Some girls had their face painted with white powder make-up and lipstick looking like vampires. I should have asked them for a photo-shoot ops but you know I don't know them and I don't think they will oblige being posted on Facebook or Google. You know they probably have their own facebook account or Blogger account. Whatever, some of them are look-alikes of Adam Goldberg and Emilia Clark and maybe impersonators. lol. Even Clay was with those tricksters.

Two sets of fireworks were set up last night. We heard them fired fireworks at past 7pm and after 10pm. It would be nice to watch those fireworks but its cold outside.

Today, drizzle outside. It's not nice, cold and wet. Very frustrating and disgusting weather. Gloomy weather and my laundry was put on hold. Later on after dinner decided that have to do the laundry and just hang the wet clothes at the garage and thoroughly dry them in the dryer machine next. Until now the laundry machine is still in the "question mark" whether my husband will buy a new laundry machine or he'll buy a second hand. The washing machines are not cheap. The brand new but not popular brand is worth $399.00 + tax. Then it went up. The price tag went up to a price I can't afford. Uhm, what a conspiracy. WTH!

A brand new machine doesn't guarantee that it will work perfectly according to its purpose. It might work good enough for 6 months (that's why all electronics and appliances have warranty).

You know what? What Canada needs are repair technicians from other countries. So many electronics and appliances that are thrown in the dumpsite or landfill and then refurbished by other countries and then sold back to Canada. It's the same with computers and cars. If one city with 50,000 to 100,000 population and you only have one or two technicians to do the repair, 50% of appliances, electronics will populate the dumpsite. Unless of course if those appliances have a place in other countries. It's a huge business. Used or second hand vehicles also populate the scrapyard and dumpsite, end up mostly, probably in third world countries. Please don't use Canada as a market for refurbished appliances and electronics. Or you can at least inform customers that what they are buying is really not brand new but recycled machines.
