Roof Over Yourself and Your Head First

I was having fun enjoying washing plates and utensils, pots and pans by hands and then my husband called the appliances repair guy from WPA. Without further a do wasting no time the repair guys Jim and his son fixed the machine while my husband watched them replace the stainless tube of the dishwashing machine.

Yup, that's the problem: the tube or hose that is attached to the dishwasher.  I don't know how much the repair guy be paid for his service because the receipt will go to the house owner. That's one sure good thing about just renting a house is when appliances are out of order it's the owner of the house whose paying for the invoices.

Remember when my husband re-painted the outside walls last summer? The house owner paid for the service or work done by my husband.

What now? The snow has melted. It snowed yesterday and 3 inches thick of snow on the ground, stayed there for more than 14 hours and then snow has melted on the streets, roads, and highways today. It rained and don't know how long rain can stay in one area from another at the island. Probably at the interior part of BC there are snow especially on Mount Washington.

It's like which you'll be comfortable with? Snow, rain or sunshine? If the weather keeps changing who we have to blame?

It's the 28th of January 2018. What are we waiting for? End of the month? Bills coming? House rent to pay at the end of the month. Roof over your head first. That's right, Spider-Man, what's important is "roof over your head first." Before you help others make sure you help yourself first. Darn! That's the moral lesson for the "Spider-Man: Homecoming" movie. What's wrong with Ironman? He is a trillionaire. He doesn't know how he can spend his money, his wealth is overflowing that he is acting like a god granting wishes to whoever would like it.

For every country's leader? Help your own country FIRST before you end up with no country to lead.

Natural Born

I'm sleeping like a log most of the time simply because of the new plush velvet blanket. The smooth, silky, soft touch feeling of this blanket is superbly majestic on our bed. It's a queen size blanket that it can cover our queen size bed. Superbly nice. You should have one like this. This beautiful blanket is available in 3 different colors: teal, beige, brown and maybe somewhere in Superstore's shelves have other colors to choose from but I had chosen the blue-green color (the color of the serene beauty of the beach in Mediterranean) because it's my favorite color this year. The price is affordable too.

So what can we have for today? Aside from all life's brouhaha that keep distracting my normal blogging. I know you have some distractions too that keep you out of focus from what you are doing at your work.

Oh, sometimes would like that "travel blog" kind of feeling like a jetsetter with lotsa millions of money to spare and travel the world. Ha! First of all don't like traveling and using public toilets or using other people's toilet. It freaks me out! You can call me maarte but really I am so very maarte and using other people's toilet is creepy. Traveling and camping out is not my thing. I might die holding off my bowel just to get home. I might just use my wand and turn invisible. LOL. Or better yet call broomhilda. Up, up and away!!!!!!!!!

By the way, have you seen the movie DUNKIRK? I first thought the movie is based on Dunkirk the name of a person but actually it's the beach in France. Allied Forces went to war (World War II) Allied Forces Vs. Axis of Evils ... however, their hundred thousand troops were surrounded by the enemies (NAZI's) they all end up at Dunkirk beach and there waited for their fate whether the fighter planes pilots will bomb them and wipe them out. Young unskilled soldiers ( Don't forget, your favorite pop star British > Harry Styles < was one of the young soldiers in this movie. He might end up the next Leonardo Di Carpio if handled by great directors in Hollywood) were in this Allied forces and the old weaponry are not matched in today's standard when it comes to advance technology seemed to be the factor of their loss. This movie serves an eye opener of what could go wrong in times of war. That's why in the military they are strictly being trained to the best of their ability. The Military is always looking for specialized skills. They are always looking for certain human beings whose got natural talent and skills and then use their skills for advancement as in the concept of Maslow's. You watched war movies in our generation and you'll see how fast, faster, stronger, higher they are.  Some of them have natural skills and talent. They end up in the NAVY SEALS. If they are snipers...they are snipers! They have sharp vision. You can't be trained for the rest of your life to be sharp shooter. Specialized skills of some human beings are more likely natural born. There is that power in numbers but there is more power in few men with specialized skills for combat.

Courage to survive on cold water of the seas. The courage to stay sane, conscious and the ability to help in times of crisis. The ability to survive is one of life's greatest mystery and God knows whom He wants to live and prolong life for the next generation to see.

Thousands of captured soldier in Allied Forces just watching fighter planes above the sky. Only few planes up there. Nobody aims their weapons at them. Maybe the old ancient rifle wont even reach up or no sniper. Or the danger of firing at those enemy planes when they fell from the sky will only endanger them as one old plane hit the ground. With all the bombs the plane carried on its body then exploded when the plane crashed to the ground and the result is overwhelming tragic. Yeah, just in case why nobody fires at those planes above. Uhm, that's why when the Americans fired back at those war planes during the strike in Pearl Harbor (called the Kamikaze Attack by the Japanese) and those planes crashed the effect was something so bloody, double tragic and unbelievable. Mind boggling crazy! NEVER AGAIN! Einstein the genius once said "never again that nuclear war will ever be pushed to annihilate mankind because there will be no winner."

Imitation Is The Greatest Form Of Flaterry

Are you sure about that? I mean, "imitation is the greatest form of flattery." I myself get dumbfounded whenever I heard this quote.

Maybe sometimes it's great to be imitated but when that imitator tends to copy my name or nickname and starts to laugh the way I laughed that's not good. It's simply crazy! I know I watched so many detective movies and I read Psychology book, you're kind is not really one of a kind. (because I first thought would like to be a psychologist perhaps a psychiatrist when I was young nuon yun, puede pa ring magpractice). Now what's annoying is that impersonator is so annoying. I have so many works (artworks and novelettes) and if these batch of impersonators got hold of my works then what? This kind of crazy situation happened to many movie stars and artists who end up broke and dead.

What to do? Make myself ugly? Ha ha! What now? They can't apply pimples on their face eh? I have thick lips and I don't think they will have a harelip on their upper lip. Or I don't think they will nail their toes and have a "mark" on their toe. I wont put tattoos on my body just to differentiate me from those annoying impersonators. They can't copy my voice either. Oh, somebody just copied my voice. Nakakainis! I don't know why these " _______    " keep annoying me since I was very young. Maybe I am likeable? He he he! Maybe I am beautiful? LOL. Wag na kayong mainggit talaga lang natural born beautiful ako kahit si James Blunt tatalon yan sa ilog just to prove it. hihihihi.

Yung nagpupumilit na kamukha ko sya nagpafacelift na. Sa wakas si Cher na ang kamukha nya. Bwahahahha. No more competition. I don't know why nakakarating sa kanya ang mga sinusulat ko. Why kaya? Bakit kaya pareho sila ng Mother nya na mahilig mangstalk. It's kind of weird. Maybe relatives namin sila? Pero ang layo ng family name nila sa family namin. Ewan...

OMG! I wonder what would it be like in showbiz when I'm not in showbiz and I'm already being stalked. I should have started with anonymous name and anonymous blog that would have settled everything.

Okay annoy me everyday, every hour in your blog and I will tell you all my flaws. I hope that will stop those copycats and make themselves unique and one of a kind. You know it's better to be original. STOP copying somebody you are not. BE YOURSELF!

What's Fresh?

It's Tuesday, January 23, 2018. What to blog this time? So many news on TV this morning some are fresh news and some old news and maybe some news are fake and hoard news from the past.

Oh, the latest news from last night after watching "The Good Doctor" is the new trendy shop and go "Amazon go." Customers have to gain access by using their cellphone with the encrypted logo on their cellphone screen and then the customer has to "tap" it on the gate doorway to the shop and browse and take whatever they want to put in their orange bag and after shopping they can get out of the shop without scanning items from the cashier's till because there's no cashier. Would you believe that? You already paid automatically when your cellphone was scanned at the gate.

Do you like that fresh new idea of shopping? It's like an access to an MTR or LRT. lol Oh my God! It's hilarious! New marketing strategy that might bring amazing reviews for those customers who like the idea of  "not" so long line ups because you know in our time when people are so impatient in the waiting game. The long waiting game is effing boring.

What if you don't like what's inside the shop? And you don't want to buy anything?

Anyway, I think it was an experimental sort of. If you think that the company who created this new wave idea will be in hot water, I don't think so. Do you think the company will eventually get rid of workers? I don't think so because workers are in a separate glass panel where they are busy with the processing of such produce and items being displayed on the counter.

To Change, To Replace Or Not

It was January 17, 2018 when we noticed that there was a problem with the dishwasher machine. Then the next day we tried to use the machine once again and it has the same problem of the water load is never released out from the dishwasher to the pipeline  so probably there is something stuck to the straining bowl or the draining basket. My husband cleaned the dishwasher and get rid of whatever is stuck to the holes of the straining basket. The dishwasher has no problem of cleaning the plates, cups and saucers including utensils, and the drying system is okay no problem with that, however the water cannot unload itself to the sewerline. We'll have to try it again next time on its load after dinner if the problem is the pump or whatever that could hinder the dishwasher's unable to release the water after the loads are cleaned.

My husband can't wait until after dinner, he wants to find out if this time the pump has improve or not. Let see after an hour or two if the pump of this machine will pump out the water.

I'm not that lazy to clean plates and utensils using my hands. However, the usage of machines can minimize extra work and most of all dishwasher has that sanitizing solution. The heat/dry system is great for keeping plates, drinking glass, cups and saucers perfectly CLEAN. No streaks and not greasy. Pots and pans are all manually washed by my good hands using hard steel wool scrubber.


I told my husband that we are renting the house and the owner provides the appliances and if there is something wrong with the appliances then they can pay for the repair of such appliance inside the house. It is also the house owner's responsibility to buy new appliances if those appliances cannot be repaired or out of order. The appliance or the dishwasher is not fairly new. I think it was more than 4 years old or probably the same age as the rest of the other appliances: fridge, stove/oven, and microwave oven. Probably bought at the time when the house was built sometime in the year ____?
Maybe 2000? Or 2010? I don't know. I should have asked but it was my husband talking to the realtor most of the time. This time I saw him texting. I think he likes texting instead of talking over the phone. Texting is the new fad now that I asked him if he could buy me a cellphone which he decline.
I don't own a cellphone and don't like using cellphone anyway. I owned two computer notebooks (laptops) and 4 digital cameras, good enough for me to keep me busy in blogging. Beside, I don't have anybody to text with because you know I'm not sociable and I'm not friendly. My friends are just the same old friends I had way back in High School and people I chat with through Facebook are my parents, brothers, relatives: aunts and cousins. I am very selective in choosing who I would like to talk with. I only talk to my sister if there's an occasion. I know that's weird eh? To chat with other people whom I don't really know personally is still very strange and unsafe. Remember it's crazy out there.

Our brand new appliances are still stocked inside the garage. Thinking or replacing these appliances with Kenmore instead of Frigidaire? From black colored appliances to stainless appliances? Why not but it all depends on my husband's opinion.

Hairy Fur

After coming back home from shopping, and after all the bags of groceries were placed in the fridge and meat packaged in ziplocs my husband turned on the TV and it opened to Sports as usual. Then he changed channel and on that channel is the latest invention. How would you like a high tech robotic pet? Yep, dogs that can bark, made funny noise, eyes that blink and take your pictures and probably record any movements you make while you are at home. Could be that they have hidden digital camera inside... its mechanic.  That's good to be true eh? Who would like to buy such pet that never poop and you wont walk down the street and you wont pick up its poop and most of all you don't need to feed it. No need to buy doggie food and doggie clothes. Less budget for grooming and health care vaccine. Because you wont worry that it bites or no worries that it has rabies. The robot dog is available for the price of $2,000. While real puppy such as maltese, chihuaha, pomeranian and other small young puppies are priced from $1,500 each to at least $3,000/each depends on its breed and fur.

The problem with such robot dog is it's not real of course and for most dog lovers whose charm of petting and touching the dog because of its hairy fur is threaten by a robot hairless dog. Besides, some dog lovers would like a real dog as companion when they go for a walk. I don't know nor sure whether you can have robotic dogs as "war dogs." But they can expand their experiment. There's a possibility that there will be robotic war dogs in the near future.

For those who love the robotic dogs they should consider applying hairy fur because that's the reason why dog lovers are attached to their dog. The hair that their master would like to comb, brush and caress.
You think that cat lovers would like a hairless cat? No sir! The reason why pet lovers would like hairy fur animals its because of their hair, nothing more nor less.

TGIF

Thank God It's Friday! I remember when I was young and a student, the word Friday is the happiest day of the week. It is the last day of school days and together with my classmates have to do something out form the ordinary such as staying extra hour playing shatung, sipa or the chinese garter. That one hour can extend up to 2 to 3 hours depend on how much we loved the game. Or one classmate will offer to have us (barkada) in their home (merienda provided: pastries and pop) and there we chatted about almost everything from our homework, our favorite teachers, our crushes of course and favorite movies, movie stars and singers.  When we were in High School nobody has boyfriends, everyone's busy about school-works, or maybe they hid their secrets to me. Whatever. Yeah maybe they were secretive because they thought I was so childish to be around with. lol.

So, anyway, forget about High School dramas and comedy. It's 2018. January 12, 2018 and it's Friday. 11 yesterday. The news: Mudslide in California. Wow! After the ravishing wildfire in that state of America, mudslide ravaged the affluent regions of superbly rich California. California is so huge state that somehow you wont believe that you are already at the border of Mexico and Philippines. Ahahahahha! Just kidding. California once belong to Mexico. Do you know the history of how United States of America acquired Mexico?  Alaska was bought by America for only less than 10 million dollars. LESS THAN. Millions of Americans of today do not believe that history of Americans buying Alaska in the 1900's. Know why? The Americans of today are not the true Americans that you know 50 years ago. The Filipinos are more Americans in outlook and attitude during the 1900 to 1960's. And you wonder why there are many Filipinos working in the White House. Oh, you wont know who are Filipinos nowadays because some of them are mestizos and mestizas. America is once the melting ground of any kind of race. It's a MIXED RACE. Now that there are more Black Americans in the United States of America, the true Americans would rather go back to Philippines like what they usually do. When Black Americans start practicing voodorama it's time to stay away from them.

It's been so many year that racism is being raised so many times everywhere. It's not only the Blacks who were criticized, all races are. The Mexicans, the Brown race, the Chinese, everyone... maybe it's not racism but stereotyping. You criticized a person because of how that person behaves, the attitude and behaviour wont passed your standard. Black people criticized their own kind.  White people are criticized too in a different language that you wont understand. They are. They don't speak the white language (English) so they thought the White Race are not subject to prejudice and racism. Blacks are blacks and they are also being harassed, raped, molested and killed by Black people. It's the White people helping these Black people get the education they need to uplift them and that's part of HISTORY.

OMG! I don't like digging my Book Of Knowledge in the trunk at the garage. Now that's one thing we have to be grateful about when we have the computer and we can just google information, educational information through the internet and check what we need to check right there with the use of our browser within our computer. We are the new generation archaeologist digging in information through the archives, through the images at Google including the maps provided by Google. Through the interactive map provided by Google you can check almost everything and drive through around the map to the inner layings of routes from streets to alleys. Thanks to the satellite map installed by Google.  The new high tech modern technology leave us in awe but what else can we do when geniuses out there have better things to do like experimentation and hopefully you are not the guinea pigs.

Last night as I watched the return of X FILES starring David Duchovny as FBI Agent  Fox Mulder and his partner FBI Dana Scully whose team hasn't changed much. That's an FBI in the 70's version I think. They are still an FBI team to watch for. Although their low tech FBI HQ is nothing compared to the latest FBI HQ in Quantico and Blindspot. X FILES has fringe benefit. You know what it means right?

Remember it's Year 2018. Forget About 1918. Move Forward

What channel we have to concentrate this time? The good thing about having hundred channels on television is you have a choice. Everyone has a choice to change what pleases them, what kind of entertainment they have to see. The shows that appeal to them, to our intellect.

TV is a vital indispensable tool, almost an appliance that will never fade away. Without TV inside the house would be incomplete. TV is an educational, informative part of the house, our home.

I know, when I have a choice on what I can watch the shows,  tele-drama, comedy, news local and foreign news, the bad influencers on television have no influence on me because it's you the viewers have the right to what you can view or watch. I have the rights as much as you have rights. If one show starts to get rude, unethical, cruel and starts bullying another person then there's that remote to shut them up.

If one faker or plastic tends to send bad code and spoil the games that we love it's time to ban them and put them on the blacklist.

We have the remote control. We can stop them from pushing the buttons required to shut them up and change channels and get to choose the channels that can understand our mood and our educational background. The low-life auras of those we don't really like have no chance of influencing our attitude and good spirit. No cult or voodoo can take our religious freedom. Our faith cannot be changed by this black propaganda that has inner roots on revenge and vengeance.

Two different topic

Our missing mail has appeared. It was brought to us by a cute white Caucasian girl, our neighbor. She said that she picked up her mails from the post office mail box and in it also was our own mail. So there it is, how nice, how sweet that little darling. Very honest and polite. Thank you!

Now what? What's wrong with our post office mail carrier? Blind? In a hurry? With blurry vision? What could be? Can't read? I don't know what's happening with the problem but you know that there are too many problems before that's why nobody's sending mails using the POST OFFICE anymore. I don't wish to have postmen and postwomen being out of job. I still believe in the value and importance of the POST MAIL SERVICE and carriers. Because you know there are too many millions old people who rely on this kind of service. What if our relatives do not use computers or have no access to modern technology and if ever there are modern gadgets they don't usually use them every hour or everyday. Maybe their internet usage is just once a month.You know, people who live in the farthest corners of the earth have real people to talk to. They can chat everyday, any topic without the need for modern technology. They don't have to pay people to talk to them.

Anyway, I am more than human but I am not a robot. I have feelings. I know how to be grateful and wishing to be true to myself and to others.

As if they were reading my blogs everyday and they can create a story from my blogs. As if I am not aware of this happening almost everyday. As if I don't know what you are doing.

Patay malisya na lang? Ganun ba? May nagsabi ang bait ko daw. Kasi kung sa iba lang ito matagal na nilang dinemanda ang mga walanghiyang yun.

Make demands or sue them? Oh my God! Have you seen and read the book about the US President, the book that the president was saying that he doesn't even know the author Michael Wolfe? The president is a President of the United States of America and was unable to stop the book from being published. The good thing is FIRE and FURY is now a bestselling book. He should receive percentage or royalty  for every pennies, for every dollar accumulated from the revenues of such book. Whatever. It's not my business. The writer and the US President probably knew each other personally and their relationship is beyond us. They should raise funds anyway. That's the work and objective of every president, every leader should provide funds and budget for the good of government, of the country and its people. May I repeat, that's the objective of every leader: RAISE FUNDS.

Then you heard these newscaster hinting some stupid lamentations as if they are the most knowledgeable beings in the world. As if their intelligence is higher than most of us. Oh yeah, they only read what's in their teleprompter. Their scriptwriters are the most intelligent beings in their world of newscasting and broadcasting. Need I have to tell you the movie of Jim Carrey, maybe not.

Fake news abound and anything of the truth is disregarded for fear of what? What are they afraid of?
TRUTH is don't even try to mess up with me.

I happened to view another website whose passion is not my passion. I could only think that they are the "subjects of a professional photographer and endorsers of fashion outfit and accessories." I'm not jealous or envious on what they have and what kind of profession they have which they were able to do flawlessly as mimicking the fashion divas in the new generation. It's great for them to have come out with that kind of idea. However, I don't know if the names they are using are their own or they are also impersonating somebody else's names. Okay what stuck me to their website is not the glamour nor the lavish sophisticated richy lifestyles they have. It's just that their "face or facial  recognition" through my vision have them identified as the " two little girls who died "recently (through accident or was killed by their own father? Don't know the true real case about such news as I watched it on TV News) Kamukha kasi nila yung 2 bata na namatay under the care of their father.

I watched THE DA VINCI CODE again for the million times yesterday. Hm, am I exaggerating when I said million times? The story dealt with the search for the last descendant of Jesus Christ and where to find them. Sophie (Aubrey) was told that she was the last descendant of Jesus Christ. Hard to believe that eh? I will tell you right now...the search is not over yet. While Robert Langdon was shaving his hairy face, his chin...he accidentally hurt himself and the blood dropped on the sink. Right there, instantly the drop of blood created a sword-like line and he returned to the pyramid glass to once again evaluate the self-realization that somehow to find out the blood line is through BLOOD TEST. Don't worry, WONDER WOMAN is also after the search of the century.

Bloodline not roseline. Can you follow your bloodline to roseline? Cheesy people. Follow your ancestors from the Cheddar man of Britain. Aahahhahaha!

Anyway, there will be another movie about Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) based from the novel of DAN BROWN's ORIGIN.

Something is really weird here in the internet. It's no longer sacred. Long time ago, people who used the computer have to cover their face and hands. They have to carry the ark like a family's jewel everywhere their family and clan moved to a certain land. They carried the ark up to the Promise Land and where is Promise Land? Hmm...

Another One Bites The Dust

I know you heard it too. I heard about these group of old people that the new generation youth are too slow. They are too slow compared with the baby boomers, the old people, survivors of the World War II.

You can laugh at them for being fast. They are so speedy that's right that's why too many world wars in their time. One on top of another. They were at the speed of light that what we have now are dusts.

Do you like DUST? There are so much dust. I have to clean the house everyday. People everywhere clean all the dust, asbestos, coal dust, ventilator dust, ice dust everywhere... lol. I don't know if you know what dust mites look like.

What kind of vacuum you are using? There are too many brand names available in the market such as: Hoover, Eureka, Dyson, Cyclone, Dirt Devil, Euroclean vacuum, and what have you got?

For the time being we are using Dyson which is amazing in its function to clean carpets and upholstery. If you want Hoover brand that's good too. Don't you wish Edgar Hoover is alive?

Amazing Fireworks

I should have posted these amazing fireworks at the time when I shot the on-going celebration in Vancouver, BC. However, January is the time when you'll see more fireworks going up until the Chinese New Year . Why not? If you are very superstitious then more fireworks are allowed to drive away bad spirits.

Winning & Losing

My daughter won $8 worth of lottery scratch tickets and then bought $8 worth Gold Rush tickets and won $3. Actually she won so many times.

OMG! Is that what gambling is all about? Actually don't call it a gambling. I bought scratch tickets too mostly Gold Rush  and I think am more fortunate with Gold Rush tickets because every time I won in those tickets more than losing. Besides, you wont believe that BC Lottery has helped British Columbia with its economy and has helped and helping British Columbians in more than ways benefiting the whole province.

I don't know if the British Columbians will be happier with the wage increase. The minimum wage at present time is $10.25/hour to $12/hour for workers in the retail business, restaurant business, and other regular workplace in BC. If the minimum wage increase is approved, dunno when and where and it would probably depends on employers. It should be up to the BC Premier (just like what the former BC Premier Hon. Christy Clark who made a difference when she raised the issue of minimum wage when she took  an oath).

Is there a backlash in Ontario upon the minimum wage increase of $14/hour? Ontario is the busiest province in Canada. Who benefit from the wage increase anyway? The workers, the economy, the government. The employers are winning too? I hope so! It's a matter of push and pull (the law of demand and supply) the intelligent way.

Once again, it's the LAW of SUPPLY and DEMAND.

Happy Three Kings

Some people had a way of distorting facts! I couldn't believe it either, but based from what I heard there are "some group of people" whose creativity are insane and whatever you posted online will be used according to the platform desired by the owner of the website.

Ridiculous or not, fake or whatever they are up to it should be for the good and good of the people involved. Anything that involves foul, indecent propaganda should be given the much concern and make sure that "those involved in the distraction" and those without conscience aiming for bad motive and bad purpose will be reprimanded.

It's the 3rd of January 2018, it's the day when the three known kings from the East, West and South, namely King Melchor, King Gaspar and King Baltazar arrived in Bethlehem to honor the blessed infant Jesus and offered Him with special gifts such as: gold, myrrh and frankincense. I don't know the reason for these 3 precious gifts symbolized but of course any of those gifts are worthy for a baby with the future purpose of saving the world from sins as it was prophesied in the Book written by ancient prophets.

Happy 3 Kings! The wisemen have better representation of the gifts intended for the Holy Child and who are we to change their ways of gifting. Gold is more precious than silver and copper or bronze. From gold to silver... He was given gold when Baby Jesus was an infant and He was given silver when Jesus was coming of age.
