Fireworks

 END OF THE YEAR to welcome the NEW YEAR. I woke up early and watch news on our TV. There are the usual bad news and good news. Then CNN features Sydney, Australia welcoming the New Year with the loud big bang and spectacular fireworks on their famous Sydney bridge.

Then next would be the rest of the Eastern countries in the world to welcome one by one Year 2025. Lots of fireworks, maybe some will dare to light up firecrackers. 

No fireworks here in smaller population cities and towns only for bigger and large populated cities in Canada such as Vancouver, Toronto, maybe in Montreal and Calgary. 

Fireworks are costly to begin with. A 15 minute long fireworks would cost $50,000 to $100,000 (10 years ago). The price of 20 minutes long, ordinary  fireworks would probably worth about $1 million dollars.

The safest fireworks should be lit and fired along the bay, sea, lake or any body of water.

It's the Chinese who popularized fireworks as Marco Polo had his first glimpse of what fireworks were during his visit in China to meet China's Emperor. Marco Polo brought the magic of pyrotechnics and fireworks when he came back to Italy. From then on fireworks been used to celebrate every festivals, religious pilgrims or anything to celebrate happiness and well, to thwart the evils and to bring good luck. 

Supposedly, that's what the Chinese tradition and superstitious belief that the loud succession of fireworks could scare the devils and any demonic entities out there. Believe it or not.

BELIEVE IT OR NOT

 It's raining once again. Wonder why? You didn't answer the trivia correctly!! That's why. lol

 Give me other reason why it's pouring rain today and maybe the next day.

THE ISS could make use of the "trivia correctly in Canada." The ISS should at least open their large fan and blow the rain clouds away. Or they don't have to cover the sun from reaching its light in Canada.

What countries are having the sunniest climate today and the next days? Do they really need lots of sunshine? It's the month of December and it is Winter. Supposedly it should not rain on December and January. Why it's raining? 

Surprise, low precipitation. Canada is closer to the North Pole should be cold and dry, not so wet. But what we can do due to the "Global Warming" that the North Pole is not the same frigid zone. How many humans are occupying the North zone of the Earth? Yes, it depends on the population in the North.

The population of the East and Western part of the Earth are the most human populated that's why it's the hottest. Also the sunrises in the East and sun sets in the West. Bacteria and germs grow well in the hottest regions. The coldest regions in the North and South where the sun pays no attention. Then solar panels and satellites were discovered and invented.

Superman lives in another planet as what the fiction story was told. But his origin was unraveled in crystallized format inside the coldest region of the Earth. Think of Superman as fictitious angel. The angels you know could be "aliens." Because the devils and demons live in the hottest hell called inferno! There is dark side story of weather and climate duh.

There are many stories of angel and sometimes they dwell with us and messages could be received or heard and how are you the "chosen ones" able to know and what to do?

Can you change the weather? That's one of the missions that chosen messenger should at least try and manifest. I challenge you angels to change the weather.

Do we really need rain in Canada at Winter? Is the dam and water reservoir empty? How much rain should we need in Canada? Are you going to die without rain? What stupid rain can do when you have enough water? Can it cause flood or soil erosion? What countries are dry and without water? 

Saturday Musing

 I'm glad the gifted are happy with what they received from me or else I wont be giving any next Christmas, ha ha ha! Whatever. I hope everybody's sober over the Holidays until the New Year. Maybe just the same as you were stuffed of yummy foods, snacks and pastries.

Not enough? Somebody graceful had given us shortbread cookies as we enter the clinic. It's not over yet for her I must admit. I feel bad though 'cuz I haven't given her any present or gift for Christmas. Darn it. Sorry. 

Anyway, start of the year-ender dialysis which is becoming just normal but taking another pink tablet Benadryl meds administered by the good nurses can make me drowsy and sleepy. I tried to start reading a special book about ANGELS given by a friend so that I wont fall asleep but I did fell asleep anyway. It works wonder don't have to keep nurses coming back and forth to stop the warning beep of the dialysis machine. Beep or bleep as somebody keeps swearing the "F" word. LOL. That machine or whatever machine I was using is becoming notorious or just that maybe it needs a replacement. How old are the dialysis machines in that clinic? I don't know that's why I asked. 

However, Benadryl and Blood Pressure meds are "deadly combination." If my blood pressure went down to 81/40 you know... I'd like to sing DEADLY COMBINATION to the tune of Perfect Combination )))))) La la la la deadly combination))))))

I coughed, sneezed involuntarily, breathe long and hard the machine beeps or make noises. I laugh, talk or move my hand on the right side of the chair, raise my hand to change channel of the TV hanging from the ceiling the machine beeps. What should I do? Sit properly, don't move, control breathing. That's what some of the patients are doing for 4 hours. My God!! What the nurses will do? Stop the beep by pushing a designated button on monitor screen. Sometimes they have to reverse the line if its on straight line (catheter) or flush saline into the catheter. The nurses get stressed too you know. Their job looks simple and routine but with 12 patients for 4 hours in the morning and another batch of patients for another 4 hours they also get tired because each patient has their other diagnosis not just kidney problem but of cancer, diabetes, edema, leg injury, arthritis or depression and everyone has high blood pressure. 

The elders I am associated or acquainted with are grandmothers already. They are happily retired except that they spend their time 3x a week on dialysis, just like me have to be on dialysis or else. At first I was so scared about the consequences of having this dialysis, don't know much about this before and me having kidney failure that was overwhelming. I don't have diabetes or kidney problem because the true real problem is my blood pressure is higher than normal. I don't really feel about being dizzy if my BP is high. I get dizzy when my blood pressure is low. Doctors said that the kidney failure was caused by high blood pressure and anemia. Truth is I don't have that kidney failure until they gave me a blood transfusion and lots of IV solution.  I don't know if the blood they gave me has been inspected thoroughly or what. Darn, I have a very long memory. I could write a book thicker than Wilbur Smith's.

For whatever reason every time I post about my ailment, there's that advertisement on TV about Rx or medication about diabetes. lol. Wow! Why so many advertisements on pharma drugs now?

Would you believe that there is that "topic" that was deleted here. Don't know why. Don't tell me there are angels though the internet? Okay if you don't want me to write about it wont write it again.

You wont believe what true real angels looked like. It is not what you have in mind.

Is It Blessed To Give Than To Receive?

 BLESSED WITH GIFTS: It is blessed to give than to receive but what happened is simply when you give you are to receive. You wonder why. Fortunately that's almost like an exchange gifts.

Of course my children received generous gifts too!! Just that they are too shy to show of what they had received. 

Then suddenly after year 2020 is the year that you have to be more grateful for being healthy because after the infamous pandemic so many humans got sick and died. But would you believed until now they don't know what's really the cause of that pandemic in China. So, mysterious!

HEALTH IS WEALTH! Be lucky to be alive.

CHRISTMAS 2024

 I told you we've been busy during the Holidays as in shopping, gift-wrapping, preparation and cooking of foods for Christmas dinner. While nibbling on snacks here and there, sipping cold juice, drinking hot brewed coffee, etc. Of course there is no time to relax. 

Woke up too early at Christmas morning, listed of things to do first and foremost. Opening of gifts after breakfast.

Nativity Scenes

 

I've been busy having these artworks of the "Nativity Scenes." I know nothing's perfect of what really happened except that of the original scene or the actual true real original scene during the birth of our Savior Baby Jesus. The above drawings are just fragments of my imagination.

What's Happening?

 What's going on? Time is passing by us like a hurricane! It was quick and so fast that my thinking is somewhat on pause for a moment of distraction. 

My family usually had Christmas Eve dinner with our festive turkey but somewhere along the way that changed this year and usually for the past 21 years, my sister and her family dine with us on Christmas Eve. That changed too this year and last year. My sister and her hubby have to join their daughters in Alberta to celebrate Christmas. My sister's daughters are all married have their own family and of course they have to celebrate Christmas with their loved ones, with their in-laws. Most of all, my dearest son happened to work in the Mainland so that's not fun anymore. Ferry rides at the island cancelled due to the strong winds and possibility of storm today as what weather news forecast warned. Good thing is I was able to call my parents in Philippines to greet them and they are in good health, happy and contented. 

We only had a roast ham with pineapple slices, scalloped potatoes, gaylan with oysters sauce, green peas, steamed rice, pork chops for dinner last night then Bryers ice cream for dessert.  Good enough. I have frozen lumpia (60 pcs), lasagna and 2 boxes of pizza in the freezer. We can have them if we have a surprise guests or visitors. We don't over indulge with foods anymore. There are a lot of "bawal" or forbidden to eat foods when blood pressure is high.

No sight of snow on the ground, couldn't believed it. Wow! Dry run today eh? First time without snow on Christmas and that's absurd. Darn it!

My loved ones had given me some presents, haven't open yet. I was surprised of their generosity. Thanks a lot good friends of mine.

I feel sorry to those I cannot give gifts this year... being unemployed. Remember I'm a blogwriter without compensation.  I'm 61 years old, almost retired (65 yrs is actually the official retirement age) First of all, I'm sick.  Being on dialysis is being "sick." I don't look just like anybody else. There are some people who are not on dialysis but they looked sicker. I wonder why. I must be thankful/grateful for being alive. Thank you God for another life, second time around. I must be an angel eh? LOL. I wished. 👼

This morning, started putting stuff on Christmas stockings then cleaning the dishes on the sink, cleaning washrooms, thinking, planning then watched the movie "The Holiday" (Kate Winslet & Cameron Diaz), very interesting movie. 

I'll be very busy in  the next few hours in preparation and cooking of our dinner meals for Christmas Family Dinner.

APPETIZERS So Yummy & Delicious!

 According to most Canadians the 24th day is the Christmas Eve Dinner  tradition is only for the Appetizers. Then the 25th which is the Official CHRISTMAS DAY is the big luncheon or biggest turkey dinner or main course for the whole family to get united in one large table with all the festive and creative trimmings of special foods with the choice of bottles of wines, brandy or champagne. For the sober and those who don't care much about  alcohol, fruit juices such as orange, cranberry, apple juice is ok. Ginger ale or root beer is good too as alternative.

WHAT IS THE BEST APPETIZERS? For me if you'll ask me, the top 1 would be grilled scallops wrapped with bacon.  Next is Lumpia or deep fried yummy springrolls. Fresh lumpia wrapped in Vietnamese transparent wraps. Third would be mushrooms stuffed with crabs and cream cheese. Some people would rather have sausage rolls or mini quiches, and shrimp rings with chili sauce, or jalapeno wrapped with bacon. Would you care for garlicky calamare with tzasiki sauce?

 Is it the same old news in the news networks everywhere around the world as if nothing new had happened that the world stopped spinning? Opponents of PM Trudeau wants him to step down. the pressure is building up everyday. Whoever will replace Trudeau should have the "biggest purse" if not then it's the same old rotten story again and again like almost a torture and an agony.

Watch US Pres. Trump if Elon Musk will shoulder the large humongous budget that America needs to fulfill and achieve its goal in the global world. Every country needs a trillionaire.

The stupid rain has stopped! However at 7 C it's quite foggy today. 

What keep us smiling and laughing when I saw SNL last Saturday's episode on TV.  Martin Short was honored by Tom Hanks and all the comedy gangs who had acquired the proverbial SNL Robes for being invited so many times to host the SNL intro comedy act. Once again, they tackled about the young kid Luigi Mangione who was accused in the murder of CEO of UnitedHealth, that the kid was  in prison where Sean Diddy Combs was jailed without bail. BAD! Real bad!! That joke could probably had the kid's parents revolting. If all the accusations are true or NOT he should not be in the same jail or prison with that molester Diddy Combs. Or there could be a strategy behind it. ?

I had just finished watching Season 3 of FROM the horror, suspense, mystery and I want some more episodes.  I thought Victor could solve the puzzle when he had that ax and use it to cut the fallen tree at the highway, but to my dismay he was up to something else. Can't get over with it. Is there a Season 4 coming up?

I had few more gifts to wrap. I had wrapped few other gifts and had given them away. It's not much of  gifts just that it is the spirit of giving and the thought that counts the most important. Some people I'm supposed to give gifts but it is impossible to give them anything because they have almost everything and besides their high falutin taste ... I cannot afford so sorry!! That's what it is. If you don't receive gifts from me it only means your choices and taste are unaffordable. SORRY is now  a popular game.

I know, we all have expectations, choices and unforgiving taste. I only give gifts to those who can understand the value of giving at Christmastime otherwise it is just a matter of another day, another ordinary day. Be grateful, be thankful for the givers. It is blessed to give than to receive but don't you think you are lucky enough and more blessed to receive? Whatever you are receiving be sincerely thankful that's why I am grateful too and feel blessed to receive as I received so many gifts not only this year but in the past THANK YOU!! Thank you very much for the generous givers of gifts. 

FOR THOSE WHO STILL FEEL ROTTEN you don't have to feel sorry because they have no gifts for their monita or monito just tell them honestly that it's not their birthday! Okay? That will educate them and open their minds to better understanding.

Nobody's Invisible

 WHAT ELSE TO BLOG TODAY aside our lives and the lives of other people? What's in the news today? Do you like listening to the bickering in the political lives of those politicians during the Holidays? So many of them will go on vacation with large Holiday bonuses while the rest of us? With nothing eh? LOL.

All the political tirades and all politics going on just to cover up once again of the budget deliberation that Min. Freeland failed to open that they cannot open to public. There is something going on. That's why the political opponents are worried where our economy is going. They are afraid. WE ALL SHOULD BE AFRAID. Shake & Booty.

There is nothing like this during and under the Government of other Prime Ministers of Canada. The pressure is too much to bear. IT is not even WWIII.

CANADIANS are worried too that a wrong leader would emerge worse than the current leader or just that one woman who was interviewed, "better to know the devil you know than the devil you don't know." What she knows?

Well, don't know if that's  a code for hockey team from the US. He he he! Just kidding.

Come on!! Don't make lives miserable for us because you already had miserable lives. 

A human being who is not in control with himself or herself should resign, quit or don't let take important matters to his  or her hands. Most of all if you will end up just a puppet or Manchurian candidate then better think twice where and whom you want to be in control of. Remember that nobody ones to be a puppet. The whole world is watching. You are not invisible. Everybody can see you on what you are doing. It seems that there are too many hidden cameras now everywhere you go even inside vehicles. If its not camera they have listening devices in cars, in your cellphones, on your wristwatch. Then add those cops who also wear body cameras.  I know so many paranoids already. Paranoia is the number one conflict after the pandemic. Even people with cellphones have cameras and wonder what the subject of their photography and surveillance. Hey, whose got camera inside their retina?

R.E. : Extinction

 Probably you had seen all the sequels of the popular blockbuster movie THE RESIDENT EVIL of Milla Jovovich. It was three nights ago when RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION was on rerun in one of the movie channels on our TV.  Do you still remember the whole story?

In this particular sequel of RE: EXTINCTION, the lead character ALICE discovered that she's not the only one that she had so many  A.I. look-alikes (Artificial Intelligence), that she was cloned so many thousand times because every time she failed the mission then she is replaced with somebody who is stronger,smarter, until that "Alice" is possessed with superhuman abilities and skills. However, the main laboratory located in the desert (underground) and the Umbrella Corporation's satellite in space can track down Alice's location. They can still have control of her through those satellites. The chip was embedded in her eyes. Watch the ending though.

Did you know that actually in History, the NAZI under their supreme leader  ADOLF HITLER  (Austrian Christian and you think he is German but because most of the movies produced were Nazis are German eh) had that kind of ambition, aim and goal to be able to create a superhuman and had decided that it could come from that particular Race in the Holy Bible. Hitler was religious and he believed in God. He believed in the prophecy. He thought that "superhuman" would come from the Race he persecuted during the Holocaust. Whether you believe it or not, that's up to you.

Then you have the movie CAPTAIN AMERICA. How he become a superhero? You'd better watch for it. I know you don't have to be a couch potato. Watch movies on your spare time.

What to do now? I have too many things to do, long list actually. I need all the ingredients I need to start the preparation for cooking and baking. I have to wrap some gifts. I don't have enough gift wrapper and no boxes. A friend of mine told me just wrap them in newspaper, tie a ribbon and put a bow, that's it. OMG!

 I should concentrate on something else. There is nothing that could change my life, your life if you have any. Opsi. I should include you in my prayers because you are so vain and evil.

REMEMBER: LIFE IS AN ADVENTURE.

We cannot adjust to them because they are supposed to adjust because if they don't they will lose their job. It's different now in our generation because if you have disability and you the "healthy humans" you get the wrath. Inferno, heaven or what. Then those wicked demons and vile? Probably they are happier in hell. lol. GO AWAY!!!

Simply not the Umbrella Corporation. It's been raining almost the whole day and thank goodness the stupid rain has stopped. I was thinking of buying an umbrella. But maybe next time when I found the right umbrella design that I really, really like. Anyway, it's already WINTER! Maybe next Summer, the best time to buy umbrella.

My dear Sister had a surprise visit at our home before she and brother-in-law go on holiday in Edmonton. Good for her able to go where she likes. Heard that my niece is finally pregnant after having miscarriage 2 years ago. I hope this time around they will be blessed with a beautiful, strong, smart baby.🙏 Hope for the best!! CIAO.

THE F WORDS

 OH CANADA!!!! An elder once said that YOU HAVE TO ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS TO BE HEARD.

What else is new? SERIOUSLY TO BE HEARD AND LISTENED TO BY CANADIANS do you really have to have good manners? Or use the frequent proverbial word "SORRY!."

TRUTH IS... You have to use the F WORD.

A LOT OF  F WORDS. EX. What the F is going on? Who the F are you? What the F are you doing? FY my kidney is mine not yours. You don't have the F care who I am. It's not you F business to steal my rights as a human being. 

Thank GOD! THE JEWS ARE OUT THERE TO SEND THE MESSAGES.

The Art Of Compromise.

It's not that they are all hard of hearing because of the frozen wall or wall of ice but seriously as in seriously to be believed say the F word in every statement.

 That I should consult GOD, all the gods and deities including the BUDDHAS.
