Real Fastfood

 It's easy to cook especially if its the instant noodle soup in a bowl. You can just add water in the plastic bowl of noodles and then microwaved it for 3.5 minutes.

 You can add steamed vegetables and one boiled egg. Or shrimps, clams or pieces of crab meat.
Inexpensive?

 Corned beef seems inexpensive way to have it for lunch. Just saute' the corned beef in a hot frying pan with cooking oil, garlic, onions, tomatoes add the seasoning: salt, ground pepper and green chili pepper or sliced red bell pepper.

If you are not contented with simple ingredients, add cut and diced potatoes. It's good! It's really good.

Omelette. This one viand that doesn't take much time to cook. Ingredients: cooking oil, garlic, onions, tomatoes, hotdogs, eggs, salt, ground pepper, ground oregano. Yum-yummy!

Something New For A Change

The usual breakfast! But you know I'm happy with simple breakfast of a piece of toasted bagel spread with butter as it melts on the surface of a hot bagel then a hot cup of freshly brewed Folgers coffee and I'm good to go.

I'm not fuzzy with having breakfast. I don't like heavy stuff on my tummy at a very early morning. It's at lunch time and dinner time that I usually have to purge on good, delicious food.

Cooking a viand seems laborious but it is easy and convenient for me to do that kind of task at home, provided that all the ingredients are visible, available and ready to be prepared and cooked.

 My daughter helps at the kitchen and she's a fast learner when she likes the food that is being cooked.

She loves shrimps! She doesn't like shrimps before so, that's for a change. I love shrimps on every viand that I cook. It would be nice if there are scallops.

We had roast beef with gravy and yorkshire pudding last night before watching the TWD series episode: Bounty. The story evolves on the newcomers  and where is Maggie Green? The story plot is weirder, too far-fetch. In previous episodes, they rescued Eugene (the liar and traitor) and Jesus was the sacrificial lamb. Maggie is not an important lead character in TWD? Foul TWD is awful now! I mean zombies are rotten, decaying flesh that can make everyone vomits. That nobody ever tries to look for her? Jesus is dead and the rest of the characters are just waiting for cues from the director. That's when a story failed to uplift a changing world in THE WALKING DEAD. Maybe that's the twisted plot of replacing the veterans with newbies. FGS! Real twisted!!!! Body snatchers!

Anyway, we enjoyed watching the premiere pilot episode of  WHISKEY CAVALIER Episode: Sneak Peek. Wow! Lauren Cohan as Francesca Trowbridge, CIA is explosive. It's about time for her to wear sexy outfit, she truly deserved it. I love the fast-paced action thriller/light comedy inflicted in this new TV series. The use of right-timing music with the action  is great. It's like watching a movie instead of a series. Musical score is amazing. Timing is truly fantastic. From France to USA, to Russia, Germany and back to France. What  fabulous settings they had. CIA Vs FBI is a surefire hit! Very creative! Intelligent and smart! Good luck Lauren Cohan you are incredible, beautiful, and talented like Jovovich.

They Can Run But They Can't Hide

The cashless society was always been seen as a threat in trade and commerce. It's not a new trend because if you are a very religious person and had read the Bible for so many years you probably has read the Revelation. In that page the mention of cashless society was explained and the bearer of the forbidden number 666 has the power over all dominions on Earth. Do you have that number on your forehead? I haven't seen anybody with that mark on his  or her forehead yet. That could be bbb or a caligraphic number, symbol or code. My explanation is not that too deep and not too shallow either,  unlike in the explanation in the Book but nobody understands. When it's too deep nobody understands and they get drowned.

We are not in a dystopian society. For those in Dystopian Society maybe it's better for them to not use the medium of exchange as in using cash, debit, check,  or credit cards because their evil secrets will be exposed. Tattoos on the skin wont help either. Bar codes on the skin or microchip? Several important human beings already had those microchips embedded underneath their skin. Maybe those VIP's such as the Presidents, Prime Ministers, government officials, military officers, bank officers, billionaires and millionaires have microchip implants. Maybe, maybe not.

What happened if a particular country assumed to take control in cashless society? The use of cash is forbidden, not allowed and wont be accepted in buying and selling. Well, let me tell you it's their loss. Why? They probably don't have enough gold to back up their currency. That country probably wont be able to trade with other countries. Maybe their country was ban for not able to follow the trade guidelines. Maybe their money is not to be trusted.

Money is the cash that makes the flow of commerce easy and convenient. So, when cash is eliminated what other options are allowed? Using debit cards, credit cards and checks are options but to clear of any obstacles would mean taking time and days to wait if any transaction is made. Remember, you can only use those options when you have cash or money inside the bank. That means money is very important. When a consumer only want to purchase a single commodity for $5 you have to pay it on debit card? That's awful. However, they said that it's better to have no cash at home because it becomes a prey for thieves. Somehow there is an advantage to that kind of situation. However, many victims of identity theft are coming out of yin-yang because their whole identity were stolen. It's not just card, pin number or password but the whole life of a person who used the card.

Whatever! Thieves and hackers are always being caught. They can run but they can't hide.

Let's Welcome Springtime

The howling sound of the wind woke me up this morning at 4:30 am. I looked out from the sliding door glass and noticed that the snow on the yard was not totally melted. Yesterday's weather forecast there will be a Friday snowfall but that's too early to tell, especially when there is that noisy wind and causing some non-heavy objects such as the two shovels and plastic bins outside to tumble down and moved to different parts of the yard.

The weather temperature today: 4 degrees C. outside and 19 degrees C. inside.

My leg still bothers me because of mild arthritis. It's mild because I can put up with it and not complain nor take any kind of medication. When it becomes unbearable I have to slap my leg real hard. Pinapalo ko. Then the pain go away. LOL. Yung iba kasi hinihimas-himas yung paa or tuhod nila sa sobrang sakit. Sometimes they massage their muscles on their legs. So balik ng balik di ba?

OMG! I think that ailment runs in my family. My parents had that ailment for so many years after retirement. My sister had osteo-arthritis and her ailment was to the extreme, so severe that she had an operation done on her knee last January 2019.

My aunt who lives in the U.S. suffered from such kind of arthritis and also had a knee surgery. Our grandfather (my Mother's father) suffered and passed away with the same kind of ailment, it was arthritis at first then it catapulted into cancer. Yeah, I know it was so shocking.

I hope and pray  it wont snow today because nobody likes snow anymore. My husband' s not feeling well because of HBP or High Blood Pressure. He went to see his doctor for a check-up. No more snow please because I don't like shoveling snow. If you love snow then you can clear the snow here in my place, in the city at your own risk. Besides, February 23, 2019 which is tomorrow is the beginning of Spring.

Springtime Plan

I first thought am the only one all over the internet highway. So many millions of us doing blogs, into creativity, into photography, storytelling, minding about business and what keep them busy is for you to find out. With exception to the rule, I am not into Pinterest. Only on Google-Blogger, Google and Google+, Facebook. Maybe I should join Wordpress but that's too much already. I don't know where to move my Google+.  Just like them I always want to get busy...most of the time.

If I'm not shoveling snow outside when the snow piles up, my obedient daughter cleared the snow before me or we helped each other. My husband had his part of clearing the snow on the 31 unit apartment townhouse and another building that he managed. Thank God that the other 4 buildings were now managed by a new manager and the other building don't receive much snow and one that was managed by new owner. It is very busy in British Columbia when winter comes, busy when the snow has to be cleared however the workplace is not that much busy because sometimes due to severity of snowfall they are closed for business including several schools.

Weather temp: 8 degrees Celsius outside. 20 degrees Celsius inside the house. darn! I have to lower the heater.

Now that the sun is up there so bright and so shiny and at winter time when the sparks of light coming from the snowcaped mountains merged with the sunlight it could be blinding bright that its best to wear sunglasses or end up blind or lose your vision for the time being. It will come back, your vision may comeback to normal as in 20/20 but for those who are already blind then you might end up in the operating room for surgery.

I wish that spring time is here now. Why wait for the 23rd of February? The weather forecast revealed that snowfall is evidently a move forward to another annoying situation. Let us wait and see but let us also pray that snow is over. I hate the balmy cold especially when my arthritis on my leg started acting up. The hell with snow.

I have plans for springtime. The daffodil stalks are out from the ground. Of course they didn't die from being covered by snow and the coldest weather temperature didn't kill these stubborn daffodils.
I have dozens of dahlia bulbs in different species/variety and hope that I can plant them sooner than later.

Just like that on the photo above. I would like to have an arbor or a floral arc at the yard because having a gazebo would be too much of a wish.

Happy Valentine is now re-termed as HAPPY HEARTS DAY!

Too many people have problems with their hearts. Too many are suffering from high blood pressure. Hypertension alert. Diet or be sorry?!

Well, there is nothing wrong with just taking a bite or have a spoonful of something you crave about.
Over-eating is not mandatory. Eating 3x a day is just normal and having a delicious, decadent something sweet is part of the normal diet. I's just that when you are sick of diabetes then that's the time when you have to look after yourself carefully and watch what you eat.

I'm not diabetic so I can have fruit cheesecake. Three fruits: blueberry, kiwi, strawberries.

Thanks husband Lorne for this "sweets" something that fills the stomach. Dessert is something we crave after a hearty, savoury meal. Fruits cheesecake is the right choice.

Whatever! I am not that so corny to celebrate Valentine's Day. It's just another day to splurge or purge on something that makes everyone happy and not to bore somebody else for the redundancy of the situation. Our lives are precious and the pursuit of happiness can make you live longer as what those wise people said in the past.

Happiness is ... follow your mind and heart's desire.

Adaptation To Harsh Climate

Vancouver island is covered with snow and it's cold. It seems that February is the coldest month in the Calendar year. What to expect? Expect the unexpected or watch for weather forecast on television or you can listen to your radio.

Negative 2 degrees Celsius outside and 20 degrees Celsius inside our home.

My husband was wide awake at 3 am, had his early morning cup of fresh brewed coffee and then went to work and shoveled pile of cold snow at Creekside then to the other apartment complex. It was 2 1/2 hour of such incredible heavy, hard work of being a Manager.  He cleared the snow out of the way and salted the grounds with industrial salt. He ran out of industrial salt and has to purchase when store opens. While my daughter and I took our turns to shovel the snow outside, parking space, drive way. When the cold snow and cold temperature starting to affect our skin, when our breath starting to falter, when the cold started to get into our bones...enough! I told my daughter we have to go inside the house. It was only 10-15 minutes of shoveling the snow on the ground and I started getting out of breath. We are wearing snow suit. But the coldest snow is terrible and unforgiving. So, if I were you better stay at your own home and don't let your kids out unless if you are wearing thermal clothing and gortex jacket, the kind of winter clothing used by the people in the North Pole. For the mentally challenge at winter time, it's time go and play but at your own risk.

At home, I asked my daughter if she needs hot savoury chicken noodle soup or beef soup or a glass of water. She said no. She is a very tough, strong girl. She's physically healthy. Maybe I am too old for shoveling the snow.

Somehow we are to be thankful for this snow on the ground because the water is preserved and when spring and  summer comes we have enough reserved water and we wont experience drought and wildfire. It was a miracle sort of for this snow. We all knew and aware that Canada has four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn. All we need to do is adaptation. Learn to adapt to many seasons and reasons to live.

The Eagle

We have a spectacular sunrise this morning.  The weather temperature outside is 4 degrees Celsius and 19 degrees Celsius inside our home. Although it's really cold outside, my son Cade took photographs of the sunrise and the sky. I gazed at the tall trees where the eagle used to nestle and stay but the eagle's not there yet, instead seagulls flew over the sky swiftly and it's impossible to capture a shot. It was over thirty minutes later when I looked outside the yard from the sliding door at our kitchen and spotted the big, black and white bird on top of the tree, the same tall tree that it used to sit on and relax for an hour and hour, nesting on it. Then I asked my son Cade and daughter Tam to use their digital camera with telephoto lens or zoom lens.

However, the digital cameras (Canon & Nikon) they had also had the same zoom lens as my Sony camera so what I had capture of the eagle's for photography have the same wavelength. My children are good photographers, they have skills and studied photography in the same school for the art of photography. Cade had extra skills because he has knowledge in 3D Animation and Graphic Arts. While Tam has specific skills in doing the same thing all the time, like if she wants to draw only dragons and pokemon characters that's the only thing she wants to do for the long duration of time.

Hour later and the lonesome eagle still nestled, seated firmly on top of the douglas fir tree and watching over the ocean. Wonderful guardian. Keep on guarding big bird!

Good Guys Vs Bad Guys

This is what is wrong with HIGH TECH when you don't know who are the people behind the computer on the other side whether they are the GOOD GUYS or BAD GUYS.

Whether they are the true real person or the proxy or the robots.

In paying the bills,the hackers do not have the access to anybody's account or else they should pay the bills if they hack the system. Hack any information that doesn't belong to you, then the hackers should pay for the BILLS & DEBTS.

Hacking my computer for the sake of gathering information, intellectual properties and gathering blogs, photos and any pertinent document that belongs to me can make you liable to PAY all my bills.

Now, whose without remorse?

Weather, Weather you like it or not!

My husband went to his employer's office in Courtenay and brought his monthly report and bundles of invoices. He's finished with the work done on the renovation of a 1 bedroom apartment. Then another contract work soon to begin. Maybe lots of work this springtime, mostly yard work. He arrived home with set of ballpens courtesy from Hillary, Laurie's secretary. Laurie S. is my husband's employer.

There's no trees around the yard in this house except that huge, tall blue spruce tree shaped like a Christmas tree outside. That tree doesn't shed any leaves of course. The spruce's needles are tough and sturdy and sharp like real needles. If you fall from the sky and landed on that tree? OMG! You'll end up like the hellraiser monster. The wooden fence is surrounded with berries of all kinds: blueberries, blackberries, gooseberries and raspberries.

The sun shines so brightly today and the one inch thick snow on the ground has totally melted. However, the weather forecast tomorrow it will snow again.

I can't find the Bios weather gadget (features humidity and temperature indoor) that I have for many years and it turned out my husband lend it to one of his tenant whose apartment always cast shadow of molds. I told him to take it back from her. 

I had this weather gadget for indoor temperature and humidity for more than 5 years. I seldom use this gadget because I can tell and make an estimate of what the weather would be for the day or tomorrow. Besides, it's nice and convenient watching on Weather News Network whether the weather will change or not or the forecast is correct or not.

The snow covered the yard within two hours and then melted when I get out. Tomorrow we'll see if the weather forecast is true or not.

Women's Issues?

The extension of my bedroom closet is on the wall. That's where I hang my collection of scarves, hat, bags, belts, etc.

The bag that I was holding on the photo above was the latest sewing  project I had.

The house we are currently occupying is much bigger than the former house a year ago but it has walk-in closet. The closet can fit in a single bed that's how big it is. The house that we moved in  September 2018 has 3 bedrooms only with 1 1/2 bathroom. The living room is just decent size, big enough to accommodate our bookcase, sofa set, 2 recliners, our widescreen TV and china cabinet. The kitchen and linoleum on floors had holes and bathroom lino need to be replaced. It's old and outdated.  My husband looked at me in disgust. He can do it, he is a carpenter. However, the house is not ours. The renovation of the house should be done by the landlord/house-owner not by tenants. It should have been updated and upgraded before we moved in. We are just renting the house. OMG! Now you know. With the monthly rent made me think and fantasize I'm at Twin Towers with swimming pool and all the amenities and luxuries  combined. However, that's not the case here in Canada. Housing rental/mortgages in Canada is super high, you can reach the sky.

I don't like clutter or being disorganized. I hate mess and being messy is not my thing. I can't ask for a bigger closet. Because when you have bigger closet, then my husband's work tools end up in a monthly rental storage for $150/month. Then our 25 ft. size boat ends up at the parking space of my sister, at my sister's house or sometimes parked at Andy's front yard. Yup, nothing perfect. No perfect house and no perfect yard anywhere. Better watch HGTV for Home Renovation. I like watching Fixer Upper and Home Town. Know why? The houses in the US are much cheaper than the houses in Canada. It's hard to believe!

So, better to have a bigger garage, a workshop for his work tools and less storage for my clothes and accessories.

Better cut short of this story or else the landlord might get pissed off and we'll find another house because of my complaints. Ha! LOL.

I Told You So!

Believe me. I know what will happen. It happened already. A self-fulfilling prophecy or some people are doing a conspiracy to annoy me?

SAY NO

The reason why I'm always at BLOGGER GOOGLE it's because nobody bothers my creativity. Nobody clicks my posted photographs on Google+ since I made complaints. I should just let those clicks coming like a busy squirrel machine but you know I would like to maintain an orderly arrangement of things. It's always like perfect law and order. Parang Martial Law palagi.

Now what? Just because I'm busy here, my facebook account becomes a target. Somebody is doing the tinkering of who should be on my "mutual list of friends." Here's the catch,  I didn't put any friends on "mutual mode" or enclosed them in "mutual."

I know that's hurtful. But it's more hurtful when the true real good friends you have are not placed on the mutual list. So tell me who is putting those friends of mine in the mutual list?

I know that my new account on facebook was compromised since I had that Windows 10. What's wrong with Windows 10? It's imperfect!

Have you seen the logo of the Windows 10? It's like a glass window without curtain or no cover. Without those 4 specific colors: Red, Green, Blue and Orange it feels weird. So weird! Whether Windows 10 is owned by Mr. Bill Gates or is it real genuine Microsoft or fake Windows?

I'm using not the Windows 10 while I'm typing my blog. Nothing bothers me or pestering me right now. Nobody tries to grab my blog.

I think it has something to do with Microsoft Edge. What edge means? Is it the same as Edge of Tomorrow? The movie that destroys everything? Very edgy. Not in control. I am in control of my destiny so leave my accounts in good condition. Leave them alone!

Why use a Window that destroys an orderly arrangement of things? Why? Those virus and other spywares, trojan worms, whatever, FGS! I don't like being terrorized. I hate racism and bullying and to those hackers trying to infiltrate my account at facebook (I know who you are) STOP your manipulation, infiltration and stop using my good name for your stupid games. I wont comply even if my accounts are deleted or deactivated. It's better to have a good name and good reputation than having an account being used for such games without my consent.

I'm not connected to those A-Rods, not connected nor will I connect with the Yanks and wont be connected with the Lo & Lolo. NO to portuguese men of war nor to any jellyfish. I wont connect with AC/DC. Say NO to number 13. SAY NO to the persistent annoying hackers who would like to connect with my name especially if they are not in my list of friends. SAY NO.  if I don't like you, really I mean it if I DON'T LIKE YOU you have to go away and stay away from me. If I have to change my name because I don't like being followed by stalkers I will do it.

The HUMAN RIGHT of an individual is to be safe and secured. Anybody harming somebody especially by an annoying stalker is too much to bear. SAY NO to stalkers. Go away!!!!!!!!!!!

Universal Language

For the past 500 years, the World's universal language is Spanish not Portuguese. SPANISH. Hablame en Espanol. Then in 1900 when Americans gained power over half of the world's land surface, the American language stood out and American English became the universal language replacing the old Spanish Zarzuela drama and its ethnic language and custom almost tried to also vanish the heritage and cultural aspirations of the native people. Indeed it was worth it according to our ancestors who were put into slavery for 500 years of oppression and greed. They imposed too much taxes on their own land. The colonizers imposed taxes. Americans helped them out from Spanish colonial mentality but the natives became Americanized. So for the last hundred years English language is the universal language, up to now. What will replace the American English language in the Year 3000?

What languages or native tongues that will vanish and will no longer be of use in the Year 3000?
What ethnic group of people will vanish because of colonialism or inter-racial marriages?

The ethnic language (Arameic and Hebrew) of Jesus Christ vanished (?), however few scholars are trying to unearth and decipher the true nature and origin of the oldest, ancient language. The Latin language (which is similar but not quite) is no longer of use in ordinary, day to day conversation because they are only spoken in the Vatican and only during extraordinary rites of exorcism.

Hopefully, the Tagalog language (official language in Philippines) will continue to propagate. Kaya kayo magsipagtagalog kayo pag kausap nyo mga Filipino. Mag-English ka kung foreigners ang kausap nyo.

There are words or terminology that are no longer in existence. Mga malalim na tagalog na hindi na ginagamit dahil hindi naman naiitindihan ng karamihan dahil ang Tagalog language ay mixed na. Nahaluan na ng mga Bisaya, Ilocano, Kapampangan, na dialect sya ng mga taga ibang bansa. After World War II kasi pinagsama-sama na ang mga bansa sa asian countries at tinapon sila sa Philippines. OMG! Tinapon. Grabe sa language. Kumbaga nakicked out sila tapos nagpasalamat pa dahil ang napuntahan nila pabor sa goals nila.  Kaya nga dialect ang tawag eh kasi "daya-lek." Kaya kung  ikaw magpalecture ka na kay Hannibal. lol
