Keep On Spinning Spinners

 I just couldn't believe that some bloggers or blogwriters never run out of stories to blog. Good for you guys! At least I can read your day to day entry to blogging. If you cannot blog then read other people's blogs. If you can blog have fun to read yours and others blogs, it's vice versa.

The 29th of December 2020. I can't wait the end of the Year and the new beginning of the Year 2021.

More bad news being aired in the News Network but that's their problem. I mean that's their work of broadcasting BAD NEWS.  Without bad news they wont have jobs. Life would be very boring for them.

GOOD NEWS? We are still living on planet Earth. We are not on Mars nor in Saturn although the spin is quite amazing on Earth. How could that be? The SUN doesn't spin so the planet spins and must rotate and revolve around the sun. What if it's the sun who revolves around the Earth? Ha ha!

Yeah, everyone's a spinner! That's why don't like wearing my Windriver shoes. Know why? Coincidentally, every time I wore that pair of shoes the wind gets so unruly and it gets windy with the speed of 100 km/hr. I'm glad there's no hurricane or tornado in this part of the island. Something to be thankful about. Americans are probably grateful for having to receive U$2,000/person or per family? as stimulus package to help the needy. What about Canadians? I think the recipients received from $500 to C$1,000/family. Be thankful! What about in Philippines?

What about having a YEAR IN REVIEW? Better not.

According to Dr. Fauci, January would be deadlier than December. Know what? Every year after December, people around the world are penny less. Too much spending  from Thanksgiving Day to Christmas Day to Boxing Day add the New Year's spending and poverty arises after December even if there's no pandemic. Normal way of life by humans who believe that spending extravagantly during the Holidays lead to expected outcome. With the pandemic and the mutation of that variant virus only God knows what will happen eh? The immunization is too slow. How many healthcare workers per country to country and the vaccination process is very, very slow. The spin of the Earth is much faster you know.

 It's now the 27th of December 2020, Sunday. I haven't post our Christmas celebration yet but I will in the next few minutes. I wonder sometimes whether have to post the photos. lol.

APPETIZERS: Scallops wrapped in bacon + Portabella mushrooms with crab flakes/cream cheese stuffing + Prawns in ring plate

MAIN COURSE DINNER: Butterball Turkey + Stuffing + Gravy + Steamed potatoes + Brussellsprout + Rice (steamed)

SIDE DISHES: Pancit + Primo Penne Rigate beef pasta with tomato sauce+ Smoked salmon

DESSERTS: Assorted Cakeries (4 different flavours: chocolate, lemon vanilla, mint, nut filled cake) + Cheesecake (2 flavours: cherry and strawberry) + Breyers Ice cream

Everyone enjoyed the turkey and appetizers! I don't eat turkey, so the appetizers were much better. I had a bite of the lemon vanilla cake and a small portion of the cheesecake. My children don't really like those cake and cheesecake so my son bought two different flavour of ice cream.

No matter what, I am thankful, forever grateful that we have enough food to satisfy everyone even if we have different choices. Unwrapping of gifts: My children received what they wished for Christmas and happy and glad that their wishes come true to life.

THE NEXT DAY:  We had too much leftovers: Turkey stew + Fresh pan fried ham + Noodles (Pancit & Pasta)

The cheesecakes & cake are still sitting in the fridge.  

ENOUGH OF THE DRAMA. I hate all the pandemic news. I hate all the bad news and to eradicate bad news better not mention any bad news. 

Let us rejoice and praise and pray for the better NEW YEAR ahead.

Cooking Up A Storm?

 For whatever reason my computer laptop is acting up. There's no virus, just that my connection is getting haywire. Maybe lines are busy during the Holidays that's why. 

Anyway, I'm back to blogging. There's no stopping me just because those hackers want to get in the way. Hackers don't really have established connection and they don't pay internet provider. Colorum! Shame! Shame and how dare they. The good thing about blogging is not really a show off unlike in FB. 

So, I've been busy cooking up a storm. The crabs that we order (10 crabs) arrived earlier than anticipated. Supposedly that's for Christmas but it arrived last Saturday. We boiled and cleaned the crabs right immediately.

RL said that I might as well cook the crabs for my favourite dish.

Why not? I love crabs with coconut milk. I like it too with eggplants and gaylan. Yes, gaylan the green leafy vegetables can also be cooked with coconut milk or cream.

Then cooked beef, macaroni with tomato sauce + cheese + vegetable salad with crab flakes.

Repetition: Almost Like A Novena

 When I heard about 1,000 cases of COVID infection in one day? What's that tourists arrival? It seems baloney! Or could be humans with cold and flu symptoms but not really to the point of having that dreaded disease. ((Colds and flu symptoms are most common during winter and they are contagious too)).

The only way to control COVID infection from climbing up is to STOP TRAVEL from one country to another or province to province. The rule of 14 day quarantine from travellers to do after they arrive from the airport whether they have COVID or not. What the hell, that you want to go for a visit to one's country when you have to quarantine for 14 days or 10 days? Is that how you want to spend your holiday?

Where those tourists have to stay at the hospitals for the quarantine? How bad you want to travel and quarantine? Hospitals the new HOTEL? WOW! OMG!

Most hospitals are CLOSED! They had reached OVER CAPACITY LIMIT of patients who are isolated, quarantined and they were there for other ailments aside from those COVID patients.

They might as well open up GYMS and SPORTS ARENA for COVID related and use these facilities as COVID HOSPITALS. Or let RED CROSS build huge tents to accommodate those infected.

Never in this time of pandemic when stories were out of proportion but maybe, maybe those reporters are not liars. Maybe they are reporting about true stories and true news, keeping the newsamkers BUSY ALL THE TIME. The busiest year for the media people.

How you can stop the FLU or INFLUENZA? Every year that's the most common illness and it never goes away. Year after year. You breathe, you inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. When you wear face mask, the oxygen can't hardly get in to your nose and mouth. The carbon gets trapped in your face mask and somehow that's the start of the breathing problems. For those who can breathe even if their face is covered then continue to wear them. Or stay away from the crowds and follow the ordinance of STAYING AT HOME the most safe option. LOCKDOWNS will soon again be in effect in some provinces in Canada especially in Toronto, Ontario.

Canadian stores should sell FACE SHIELDS. In Philippines, people were asked to wear face masks and face shields. The temperature in Philippines is hotter but they have to oblige the protocol especially in very populated areas. 

With the present volcanic activity, volcanic eruption in Hawaii that will cause the emission of toxic volcanic ash AGAIN then that's added bonus to the surge of  infection. More carbon in the air and what's next after? OMG! A repetition again?

Ten Months and COVID Conquest Hasn't Stop

 The frogs are probably happy with the wet ground cause it's raining once again and the misery nurse starts to cause trouble after trouble again. Life's a misery for some miserable humans. Imagine yourself being the source of all bad news and what could be the consequences? Can you still sleep and think right if all what you are doing is to bring all the negativity everyday, every minute of the day? What a great life for you? I don't think so.

In order to be happy you must be the source of all good news.  If it rains and the clouds covered the sky and the sun then good for those who are afraid of the sunlight and the sunshine. Vampires and draculas hate bright light. He he he! 

So, what's in the news today? SAME OLD SH--. As if there is no more tomorrow that will end their long lasting game of games. On and on, on and on bosz scaggs. 

Vaccines given to the most needy in wealthy countries and the developing countries asked for help in the procurement of the much needed vaccines. Expensive vaccines! COSTLY. The first Pfizer vaccines inoculation (immunizations) were only for the first 29,000 recipients in Canada, while the rest of the population will have to wait for their turn.

Wear face masks all the time every time you are out there. Do not gather in groups or avoid social gatherings  or pay the price. Follow the 2 meters distance from one another. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water and use hand sanitizer if needed. Stay calm, stay safe! Over & over again until you are vaccinated. Lockdown in effect in certain demographic areas where higher spike of infections are reported. OMG! When will it end? It's been 10 months of this pandemic news. TEN MONTHS! So shocking already.

 

Celebrate Christmas and New Year with your family in your own home. It's gonna be exclusively for members of your household only. Protect yourself and others. It's the right thing to do.

 

 

Adaptation

 The pandemic and the news of  "It's no longer free to pollute."

LOL. Of course!! Especially here in Canada.

Garbage in Canada is being collected once every week. Additional collection of garden rubbish during summer time. Garbage collection is not free. Thank you garbage collectors, the new engineers! Homeowners have to pay a certain fee for garbage collection. There's a dumpsite for anything recyclable. Anything you throw in the dumpsite has an equivalent payment or fees to pay.

Empty bottles and empty cans must be taken to the recycling depot for a price. I think the recycling depot pays 10 cents for one empty can and empty bottle or depends on its size. ( 1 empty can = 10 cents). Electronics: You buy electronics (TV, computers, laptop, tablets, telephones, cellphones) you have to pay extra fee for its recycling.

When it comes to pollution. CANADA is the cleanest, most organized country in the world. With it vast, wide open spaces, the oxygen here is in abundance because of its forest, billions of trees and vegetation abound. Whatever carbon dioxide in the air are then suck in by those billions of trees and billions of shrubs, bushes, perrenials and annuals. There is so much oxygen. TOO MUCH OXYGEN and that's why sometimes a single spark of light can cause wildfire.

When it comes to bodies of water? 

Have you seen how clean, pristine clear the waters in the ocean, lakes, rivers in Canada? You don't know? Well, compared to bodies of water in other countries the water here are much better but very cold. Who will pollute the bodies of water when the population is very low? There are certain demographic areas or big cities that are over populated because it's the way it is in bigger cities where traffic congestion and industrial trades are in abundance. (Unfortunately, for those who will once again experience the LOCKDOWN today & tomorrow due to the 2nd wave of the pandemic). I hope with the lockdown the population wont double up. j/k

Really, its the other countries in the world who should be reprimanded for their pollution. When it comes to climate change? They should actually look at their own surroundings where they live and hold their rally. For those environmentalists to hold their rally here and ask leaders to be knowledgeable with the climate change and global warming should have to be educated in other countries were global warming and pollution is its number one problem. Canada has 4 climate seasons since it was discovered by Columbus and the Vikings and up to now the four seasons haven't changed. Learn to accept that there is winter, spring, summer and autumn. When it's cold wear a jacket and when it's hot wear summer clothing. FGS!

Learn to adapt. Adaptation is the key. Really, pollution of the mind must be the problem. Stop smoking and vaping. Stop all those stupid nonsense. The GOVERNMENT of CANADA  should impose and implement FREE COLLEGE or FREE UNIVERSITY EDUCATION for NATURAL BORN CANADIANS so that they wont be left behind. Yeah, just like in Germany... whoever can speak the German language can go to University and study for free. 

By the way, millions of doses of VACCINES will come from PFIZER, a German Pharmaceutical company. I don't know when the Moderna's vaccines will arrive and which vaccines are better.

Update: Order of VACCINES FROM PFIZER has arrived and the first roll out of inoculation starts today in Quebec, Canada.

Not A Lovely Day

 I like to go shopping but shopping in this time of the pandemic put a hold or restraint on everybody because sadly it is not safe to be being inside a closed building with different people from all walks of life because you don't know what you gonna get. You wished it's chocolate but not really. There is that always the "caution and precaution now to almost anything."

Shopping online is a big no for me especially when it comes to shoes, clothes and other personal items. I have enough clothes to wear and shoes. For gifts? My husband and I were thinking about just gift certificates because they are handy never to worry whether the receiver will like it or not. They have to like it, because they will be the one to decide to order or purchase their own gifts.

I like that kind of gift too. However, depends on where those gift cheques or gift certificates are purchased. If its MARK's then you have to buy items from such specialty store or if its at WALMART then that's good too. HOME DEPOT, WINNERS, STAPLES, SUPERSTORE ? wherever. How about at PEOPLE's JEWELLERS. LOL. Ha ha! Am I dreaming? 

Imagine if you have to order from AMAZON? How long would be the delivery? Then having to feel the products esp. if they are clothes? I love to feel what I'm buying. I like to see first with my own eyes what I want to wear and I want to smell it first. Nowadays, you cannot do that. You cannot return or exchange what you bought already. Quality is no longer the factor in the determining consumer's right.

Okay? Recently, the news stated about "you can no longer pollute within the country." SURE. Nobody likes polluters. So, what will happen? AIR, WATER, LAND POLLUTION. Stop all the marine animals, fishes, whales, sea turtles etc to propagate so that there's no more pollution on water. Don't run your boats on water. No ships allowed on water. Stop all airplanes, ground them for not flying so that the air will be free of those unknown debris. Shut down the ISS on its function so that no debris floating in the sky. ? What?!lol.  All factories emitting carbon will be shutdown. Carbon pollutes the air. All transportation will be put on hold. Nobody's allowed to drive because all vehicles wont run anymore. No more gas and oil extractions. Stop all industries that will emit carbon once and for all. Humans are not allowed to exhale carbon dioxides and so as animals will be put to extinction level so that they wont pollute. You are not allowed to poop. Do not eat and drink so that you wont poop. Stop all the games so that no fans will pollute the 40,000 to 50,000 capacity arena that causing poop to explode thus giving the wraths of hell. Family planning is mandatory for all couples. That's what it means by POLLUTION CONTROL. Anything that is noisy will be cut off from the civilized world because noise is also "pollution." No more TV and RADIO causing so much noise pollution. Politicians are not allowed to talk because they are causing too much noise. Shut down of all communications causing NOISE POLLUTION. No talking allowed they are noise pollution,  they are vexatious to one's spirit. No more reporters and newscasters, the media  because they are very, very noisy with their non-stop tirade and almost harassing nonsense of every individual whom they think are against them. Are they communists with communistic ideology?

Texting and blogging is really the most quiet way to an aim in life.

Radioactive

 PEOPLE LIE. That's a known fact. But you can hear that again and again from the actor Hugh Laurie who played the role of a doctor in HOUSE medical series. Being a doctor who suffers from chronic leg injury, he lies most of the time. That is his role, his part as an actor given for him to play in that medical series. Because he lied most of the time, he has problem with trust and he doesn't believe his patients or do not believe their reasons when they failed to make the correct diagnosis. He is using a different technique to interrogate, investigate the patients to series of tests. Although the members of the diagnostic test in Plainsboro (Teaching Hospital) were adamant to take his sides, end up sometimes believing in his ways and means to solve medical case by case. That's what it is with MEDICINE, folks. It's like a guessing game for the right diagnosis and the correct, right prescription. It's always a trial and error. The trials are done and finished but it doesn't give you the 100% assurance of efficacy and safety of the products. I think divine intervention is much needed. Prayers. You know, if you believe in GOD.

There are millions of illness, diseases and there are several new ailments that have the same symptoms as ordinary ailment but there are millions of drugs(medicines) and probably thousands of pharmaceuticals with millions of salesmen who are collaborating to sell their medical products. There are millions of medicines in their generic names and of different brand names. Another drug from a laboratory with the same generic name but of different brand name doesn't mean that drug or medicine works for everyone. Or has the same effect with the same generic name from a different pharma. There are several side effects or adverse reaction to every medical product and that's a known fact. Humans maybe humans but they all have different metabolism. Not all humans are the same even if they are identical twins. Not all drugs are the same. Even the light is called drug nowadays, that's why you are using tablets.

Our present and current language is more of highly falutin that confused so many people from all walks of life. Then what hurt the most are the wagging of tongues by those who confused everything from the media. It is true when the US President once said that some news reporters do not adhere to their code of ethics in journalism, true, so true. They are up to something like controversy and scandal. It can make them famous, maybe 15 minutes of fame or could be the talk of the town for an hour or less, maybe a year then fizzled off and gone. No, wont be watching "Gone in 60 Seconds."

I might watch RADIOACTIVE, the movie about Madam Curie.

 OMG!! If I have to listen to the misinformation about the cause of COVID-19 and Coronavirus it will weaken my immunity. lol. 

Stories and information like these: That you have to wear face masks to prevent and control the spread of the virus. TRUE. Even if there's no pandemic,  you have to wear face masks in certain demographic area because of extreme pollution and where the pollens are evidently seen by the naked eyes. Wear face masks because you don't want to compromise your health. Wear face masks if you are using strong chemicals in cleaning any surface of your kitchen counter, sinks and bathrooms. Wear face masks when you are using windex and other heavy duty chemical products. Wear face masks if you are cooking and serving food. Wear face masks and gloves in Hospitals & Clinics because the air you breathe inside could be contaminated with the bacteria and viruses from different patients with different ailments. Hospitals can be a hostile environment depends on how many are infected whether they are symptomatic or asymptomatic.  Wear face masks because your sense of smell is very sensitive and it ruins your day.

TRUE. SO TRUE!

Wearing face mask not only for those viruses because CHEMICALS or any products with chemicals in it can do more harm than bacteria and viruses. TRUE. 

COVID-19 & Coronavirus can be defeated just like any other kind of flu. However, those who got sick from chemical spill eventually suffer  different consequences and to cure them is a  matter of divine intervention. Those who suffered from the volcanic ashes, dengue fever, malaria and other flu-like illness should wear face masks. OKAY that's fine. May gamot sa mga ganyang sakit.

It's good to know that the vaccination in other countries will begin on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 and from there on forward, the roll out begins in different countries around the world. Who will be given the priority is of course a matter of  pandemic protocol that was set upon not as privilege but because who need it the most to prevent the spread. The super spreader first.

To protect the NOSE first and foremost! Because the COVID-19 gets to the nose first. ? Who the hell told you that? Maybe, because some of those people clip their hairs inside their nose and the nose's hair were inhaled into the throat down to the lungs and that's the cause of uncontrollable cough and suddenly you have COVID? I don't think so. Maybe, you are smoking and vaping non-stop. Or you are smoking moldy weeds. ? Just an ordinary cigarettes and tobacco can cause cancer and what you think of harmful weeds? That's double-triple cancer effect. 

Why that swab test of noses & mouth & tongues? Maybe an experiment on who are smokers? You get positive result (+) from smoking it and negative (-) if you are non-smokers. Darn it! Why don't you clean your own noses FGS! Brush your teeth, gum lines, cheeks, and tongues. Regular checking on your dental and oral care should be priority. It's not Bill Gates who spread the news on virus. Maybe the correct news is USE COLGATE toothpaste with CLEAN MINT and freshen your breath. Maybe your romantic life will improve and you wont be envious about other people kissing each other. MagLISTERINE ka. MagCOLGATE ka. MALIGO ka na rin.

So what about those billions of dollars vaccines about? ANTIVIRAL vaccines or BOOSTER?

Russia finally had their vaccines rolled out with their volunteers long time ago and to name such vaccines as SPUTNIK V? Wow! That could be booster. How intelligent you want to be? You want to be intelligent or smart? Einstein's IQ is just 150 and his mentality functions like God. Well, so many Physicists and smart people praised him up to heavens so he is god-like in the sense that nobody can be just like Einstein in our time.

Birds

Do you like LOVE NATURE? It's a new program on our TV Channel and features mostly about nature, habitat for animals and birds, the jungles, forest, bodies of water, etc, it's almost like the National Geographic magazine but it's on TV.

In that particular program, they featured magnificent winged creatures such as the quetzal. It was a resplendent quetzal that is native to Costa Rica. 

Para syang ibong adarna. The bird's eating a green berry (looks like an olive). How that radiant bird managed to have that big berry on his beak down to his throat is unbelievably incredible.
 

The rest of the scenes were focus on hummingbirds. Tiny bird creatures everywhere in that particular jungle and the photographers and cameramen are having so much fun and that includes me of course watching those birds from the comforts of our television screen.

Can you see the wings? Hummingbird flaps its wings 50 beats per second. Hummingbirds are similar to "helicopter" did you know that?

Sure, the hummingbirds in Costa Rica are prettier and colorful than hummingbirds in other countries. Why? It's probably something to do with their source of food or whatever is there in their environment.

Some of the hummingbird species tend to camouflage themselves with what they eat and where they are nesting.

We all knew that this gonna happen. Yup, the most awaited VACCINES against COVID-19 & CORONA VIRUS are available courtesy of PFIZER.

It's not 100% guarantee but 95% efficacy and safety as it was approved for emergency used in U.K.

There's no denying the facts that the first group of people to be in line for vaccinations are the health care workers. They knew this all along. Next in queue, depends on who are in their list, as in highly risk and of course the patients in their hospitals. Next after that, and next...it's up to them. 

How about in Canada? It's up for the Prime Minister of Canada, the Canadian FDA and Head of the Ministry of Health to approve and order those vaccines.

Just like any other kind of medicines, even the Over The Counter medicines (OTC) have adverse reactions or side effects and vaccines are just like that. 

To think about how many millions of people had immunizations from childbirth to being adults and vaccines after vaccines had touched their arms through injections. Vaccines against measles, malaria, polio, flu (bird flu, swine flu, HANA, Norwalk, etc)  diptheria, rabies, so what to worry about this latest vaccines? If those health care workers are willing to take those vaccines for themselves then maybe it is safe for millions to billions of people.

No what? Are you having anxiety?

Possibilities Are Endless

 Can't find that TUCK EVERLASTING movie instead there is that trailer posted on our MY VIDEOS of our TV for us to choose click whether to accept it or not for viewing. We're not interested on boxing. Sorry.

We watched the movie DEEP BLUE 3 for $1. It was okay. Nothing special. It was a story of oceanographers, scientists and those group of environmentalists summoned to destroy that artificial cove which is a nuisance to the sharks and other marine mammals. Of course it is bloody encounters with the sharks and losing the lives of those people is of no significance to those who love the adventure and the love for the sharks habitat whatever purpose and motive aside from guarding that ocean habitat is no longer a priority when only 3 humans survived at the end. 

What you get from sharks? The shark fins? Highly source of what? Calcium? To infinity and beyond? Is shark fin soup will give you the aphrodisiac of some kind or will extend your life up to 150 years of age? 

Who wants to live forever?

I don't know.  Maybe there is that labyrinth within that ocean range that divides another gates to the unknown. Not so sure if the demonic abyss really exist down the bottom of the sea. Or a hidden sanctum lies beneath where you can scuba dive deep down there and you end up in another world. 

To find the ugliest fish? lol

We Should Live For EVER and EVER!

 Fatal diagnosis. You don't want an error in diagnosis or else...

Meaning? Not all those who died of covid died of covid. There are many causes of death such as: Heart attack or stroke, cancer (lymphoma, melanoma, leukemia, brain cancer, breast cancer,  liver & kidney, cirrhosis, cancer of the bones, dying while asleep, natural causes, vehicular accidents, accidents from fall, death from airplane crash, casualty of death in war, death from TB, hepatitis, asthma, death from wrong diagnosis, shot to death with bullets, death from radiation, death cause of negligence in the hospitals, death from wrong prescriptions, etc). Just cancer alone, there are too many types of cancer, too many, the list goes on and on. 

Death from wildfire. Death from excessive smoking (chain smoking) and vaping. 

There are too many causes of death and few cases from such "pandemic."

Too much carbon monoxide, no oxygen in a room? That too can cause death.

Dying from allergies? Uhm, some people died from allergies. How severe it could be?

Dying or death caused by watching scary movies? Probably had heart attack watching horror, gory movies.

Death from drowning.

Death from talking too much? Maybe run out of breath.

Death because it was the sentence for those criminals.

Death from suicides? When life's give you so much lemons...

When life's too boring. 

We should watch TUCK EVERLASTING.

I couldn't believe that somebody will answer that K-drama blogpost I had yesterday. What I had posted or blogged about is just my observation on many Korean drama I had watched. Anyway, let us move over to the HOUSE medical series. I am fascinated about the medical stories featured in this long running show for the past 16 years? I couldn't believe that the series or show started in the year 2004. How could that be? I haven't heard nor watch any episode of such HOUSE only this year of 2020. What am I watching on TV? What I'm so busy about in the year 2004 to 2019? 

Year 2004: I was still working as a line cook in a Chinese restaurant. I was busy at home, at work and busy looking after my children. There is always something to do that's for sure and when I'm not busy sewing is my relaxation and writing short stories, including blogging of course.What I was watching on TV had something to do with what my daughter likes for sure if she was in school, I usually watched news on TV and the hunt for Osama never stop. I switched channels every now and then from CNN, CBC News, BBC, to CTV news or watch documentary, informative news. Watching documented ALIEN stories and other sci-fi endeavours of some sort. We watched NCIS from the very beginning to end (no end in sight actually even if Ziva was out of the series). So many things, so many events happened from 2004 to 2019. 

So let's tackle once again about Dr. HOUSE and his team in the Diagnostic Department. Episode: HOLD ON. Dr. House (played by Hugh Laurie) was very busy attending to his best friend Dr. Wilson (played by Robert Sean Leonard) who was battling cancer and wants to end up his life and he doesn't want Dr. House to prolong his life and that Dr. House cannot obliged to do because he is his one and only bestfriend who can understand him better than others. The chemotherapy continues for Dr. Wilson in his house, while the team of doctors in the hospital are baffled on what kind of ailment for their male patient who was hearing voices of his dead brother (Psychological) they need psychiatrist. They tried the MRI to find out what really ails him. Why Dr. House do not interfere with the team of doctors with their diagnosis? Dude, they are doctors, they are not kids without brains and they have to use their own expertise instead of the guessing game they usually are doing. Suddenly Dr. Hadley came to visit. What a breath of fresh air. She should come back for the sake of saving the diagnostic team. FGS. Know what? This episode is not hilarious. This episode is mind boggling crazy.  At the MRI room where the patient is being scanned inside the machine, suddenly he felt something was really wrong, so the two Asian doctors took him out from the MRI machine and lo and behold the water leak from the ceiling and before they were able to run away the concrete debris fall on them. The leaking toilet upstairs! How that happened? According to the investigators, Dr. House stuck a bag of Hershey chocolates inside the toilet bowl. ? Dr. House violated his parole and sentenced to 6 months in prison. 

What happened to the MRI? GONE. Wrecked. Broken. OMG! Is that really a machine for scanning or machine that gives you cancer?  Einstein's scanner machine. You'll be squared! 

US$1,000 per scanning. Wow!

Dr. Wilson, on the other hand is suffering from cancer, what kind of cancer?  I first thought he is in perfect health giving out a piece of his liver to his dying friend who happened to be a real jerk. Is he really battling cancer or just that he gave a piece of his liver and now he needs a liver for himself to be able to survive? I think that's the reason. Not cancer. He needs fresh vital organ > liver to survive.

I could be wrong. I'm not the scriptwriter of this long-running series but based from watching several episodes  there are darker sides of those doctors being unwrapped one by one.

So dark. Darker stories of survival in the HOUSE.

 

Korean Drama/Comedy

 Do you like watching the Korean teledrama on TV? Millions of non-Koreans are watching some sort of drama even if they are produced by foreigners. Why not? I think you can learn something from other people not your own kind. While other entities seek aliens from other planets, the other population would like to know beyond their own race. Higher intelligence seek Higher Beings and hopefully they will find their own peace of mind.

Lately been addicted to watching Korean drama/comedy series on TV. I'm glad they have subtitles or dubbed in language that I can understand. If they only dubbed it in English then for sure Americans and Canadians will watch it too.  I am not a Korean so another language suits me well. 

GO BACK COUPLE is a Korean drama/comedy series on television and the story is remarkably right on track on this pandemic time. It is fiction not true to life story. Fiction because a "time warped story" is impossible. The story revolves around a happy couple Randy and Jodi with their baby Gavin. After being caught in a fight between a doctor, doctor's wife and mistress, Randy and Jodi had a divorce and suddenly an earthquake struck in Korea and the rest is history being unfold one by one. The divorced couple has returned from their past: the College Years. They just woke up one day and they were younger and College students once again. Long story and the space here is not enough. You can watch the episodes of this Korean series on You Tube, it's free. Or watch it every night from Monday to Friday on TFC.

Just a short review: The story is very entertaining. It's a matter of smart decision here whether they would like to go back to their present situation wherein they have a child Gavin waiting for them or wish they just live in that time warped situation and let things mend on its own and embrace it like things didn't happen and live with their parents who are still alive not dead. Their romantic involvement? Martin likes Jodi and Randy is getting jealous. The themesong "Confession" for Martin & Jodi is much pleasing than the themesong being played for Randy & Jodi. Weird right? But what if Jodi & Martin end up as the married couple would he be the right choice? Martin seems nice and caring to Jodi but look at how he treats his mom. Any man who treats their mother without respect and courtesy, you might end up as punching bag when you become his wife. Randy seems a respectful, caring man to his friends and to the parents of Jodi. It is because of his caring ways that he always end up in trouble. Besides Randy didn't really cheated on Jodi, and it's the fault of the cheating doctor Park who had lots of flings, concubines and mistresses. Randy and Jodi were able to solve those conflicts anyway. They are the "lead characters." Although the other leads seem to get the much needed attention too such as Verniece & Jethro + Donni + Sol +  Martin.

The second led syndrome: Korean teledrama series usually had those mind boggling choosing which is better and who's the best to be with or using the second lead as an opportunity to choose. Or trying to manipulate your mind. Why? It's because probably it's part of their own culture of secrecy.

Wanted: Booster To Increase Intelligence

 Now that there are two available VACCINES for covid-19 courtesy from Pfizer & Moderna suddenly news being broadcasted of sudden climb of infection. Really? Cases per cases. Know what? Looks like those who consumed wine or any liquors out there never get sick of covid. Maybe what everyone needs is BOOSTER to keep up with highly intelligent entities.

What's happening now is like the NAZI movies and DIRTY DOZEN movie.

Tracking who are infected and infecting? Whoah! NAZI Regime climbing up. Hope we can see the HITLER. Nobody has seen Hitler yet, whether he died or he vanished or escaped with his time machine. What really happened to this country after that rumor-mongering of the coronavirus from China. Wuhan China was able to keep up with their epidemic and lifted up their economy. 

In Philippines they already found out the cause of their "covid-like pandemic" has something to do with the volcanic eruption, volcanic ashes similar to asbestos? You will need volumes upon volumes, boxes upon boxes of face masks and face shields.  Pollution, dirty floods causing dengue fever and  leptospirosis. Dengue, leptospirosis not covid.

The pandemic covid-like infection here are probably caused by dirty coals, smokes from wildfire and maryjane smoking and vaping to the extremes. What you will need are millions of ventilators for those victims to breathe. Second-hand smoke's the worse. Why the non-smokers have to suffer from those smokers?

I think every country should have highly intelligent diagnostic team. 

You don't like to end up as laughing stocks of the world. However, every country joins that simple code for almost a year and it is working like a "merry-go-round."

Every country has its epidemic. This pandemic is somewhat political not economic.

Only God Knows

 REPETITION is a mental disease? How about echolalia? Or repetition of prayers as in novena? Rebirth is a repetition. Dying is also a matte of repetition. You keep repeating the news, meaning you don't have any other news available that's why. N. E.W. S. (North, East, West, South) no news in all 4 corners of the earth? How bad that news channel is? I don't think they have enough radars for news or no field reporters to do the investigative reports. Tight budget maybe.

Confession of sins in the Roman Catholic is still being practice up to the present time. Do you still confess your sins? You should not. Did Jesus Christ confess His sins (Jesus Christ is actually sinless) or did God tells you to confess your sins? 

Childhood memories: Before you are to queue for the Communion rites, you have to confess your sins to the Parish priest. If you don't then you are not allowed to receive the Holy Wafer or ostia. The + & - effect of such Holy Rite has its Physics Equation.

What the priest usually told you to do after the confession? The priest may tell you to say the rosary as in having to deal with your long list of sins. Lesser punishment by just praying the Lord's prayer, one prayer for the Holy Mary & Hail Holy Queen. The recitation of the rosary for the Novena is a longer punishment for sins committed by the ones who confessed their sins.

For those who are sinners to the point of  offending God, punishments are gravely in the form of disaster and calamities. Well, that's what those old folks said.  

Is the pandemic a gravely sin?

Do you think the sins of the country's leader is the sin of its people? 

Is the voice of the people, the voice of God?

 I'm so sorry for not being very dramatic at true to life events and my composition on those trying times may lead to a sudden stroke or heart attack that I wont be able to control. Emotions are controlled and I'm now grasping for those words...

Oh yeah, have to say something very sentimental, you are a writer you must have the best of every word that can put everyone to tears and let everyone applaud your heart wrenching, heart breaking, gut wrenching statement for the honorable dead.

SILENCE IS GOLDEN.

We are all humans, tried tested and true. Are we not?

Silence meant a lot of emotions, physically, emotionally, psychologically...however it is more endearing and more honest to say that proper correct words are meant only for those who experienced it. Not too many are capable of loving and caring and not to many humans are capable of being emotional, not that because it is within their DNA or RNA (because it must fit correctly and accurately perfectly)  on how they are raised and born with to be that loving and caring as gentle human beings or such that it is not only through physical contact that a love is given or represented but by words and good deeds. Others may lament over things and memories on how long they shared their stories, their wisdom and all that what truly make them as creation of God but there are humans who are incapable of being humans. It is what it is? Or because who are we to judge what others are thinking. You are not a psychic, (Am I a pychic? I don't know)) you don't know what other people are thinking and plotting for their own motives, purpose and plan. I don't play with other people's minds and feelings. I don't know much of some group of people and what they are up to if their plans are against me. Friends can be dangerous sometimes. Not all your friends are my friends. Not all your relatives are your friends. Kindness and respect must be earned? Just be YOU. I am always myself, how about you? You cannot judge an individual based one situation that didn't impress you, so what? Life is not about trying to impress someone, you must impress yourself.

Start or begin with your SELF. Be kind to your self  to your id, ego and superego follows.

Tuna For Supper

 It's always a miracle if somehow , somewhere there is somebody who is selling tuna fish at the island. Simply because where you can you go fish for tuna in Canada? Nowhere, because this very special fish is a saltwater fish and lives and thrives in tropical ocean water.

So when suddenly my husband heard of tuna for sale for only $20 a piece? Why only $20? Would you believe that?  My husband bought two tuna because I really like this kind of fish. Tuna is not only for cats. It is the most expensive  fish, more pricey than salmons (depends on its size and weight). We could have bought more of this fish but we don't have space anymore in the 3 freezers.

F E A R

 Is it gonna snow early at the island? Years ago, snow started falling in Vancouver island in early September but on top of  Mount Washington which is always predicted anyway and if didn't arrive earlier than most anticipated then the artificial snow blower comes into the rescue. Yup, you can make or create artificial snow! It's not a rocket science.

If the real true snow arrives this month, so be it. We have at least 3 shovels and we have few bags of industrial salt to sprinkle the ground. I have two hands, the left and the right. LOL.

Sometime in year after the US Presidential Election with the winners Pres. Obama & VP Biden, when Washington DC was overflowed with snow, huge tons of snow blanketed the area, power outage prevailed and you wont believe they were not ready for it. It was so shocking that those who elected them for higher office didn't bother to help them out. It was Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Canadian people  who rescued them from the cold. It was televised on CBC News Network. Well, hope that it wont happen again this time when disaster strikes. It is not only votes required in the election and for Census and being a true, loyal citizen of a country. Your service to your country and leaders are also being counted. Need we elaborate again what JFK has said in the past? 

" Ask not what your  country can do for you, but what you can do for your country!"

What if those  immigrants doing the work and service for your country while you wait, sit and stare?

Oh no! That is so weird already. I hate horror movies. But it's Sunday today and FEAR THE WALKING DEAD is up for grabs again at AMC Channel.

Who said I'm not watching the US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION 2020? Actually our TV was on every day for the past 28 years. Two channels CBC News & CNN to watch over.

It's already 214 Electoral votes for US Pres. Trump on CBC News channel and still 213 in another channel for the past 2 days. They have the love for the number 13 as if they will give them the rod of Moses & Aaron. US is no longer Egypt and nobody's walking like Egyptian. Although the Washington Monument signifies its Egyptian symbolism of power, America is no longer Egypt. Even if Nancy Pelosi torn the documents as if it was the fallen Hebrew curtain when Pres. was acquitted of any wrongdoing. I hope the winning of the other politician is not a revenge or something. The good people has nothing to do with torn documents and the wrath. Yeah, sure what's happening is history in the making. No encore for that.

 Is there really voter fraud? I don't know. If there is,  conscience will bother them for such a very long, long time. 

Here's the good news if ever. BILLIONAIRES are only powerful if they wont become politician. 

Mr. (Pres.) Donald Trump was more powerful as a business tycoon mogul than being a president of the United States. This gives other billionaires the lesson to never run for Presidential Election or assume the seat of the Presidency or lose their power to make lots of money, employ millions of people and provide businesses to many branches in the workplace, being a President limits some powers that be because of the limited access to certain things because of conflict of interest and the opposing sides who opposed any president who gets in the way to their own motive and purpose as politicians.

Beware Mark Zuckerberg & beware Bill Gates! Don't run for President of the U.S. A.

Day 7 November 2020. If its not chad, faulty voting machines, then it's voter's fraud? I don't really know who to believe. But you know what? Pres. Trump won the Presidential Election 4 years ago because 8 years of the Obama & Biden got so boring, out of budget (?) and the American wanted change and they are not happy with the 8 years of  the tandem and now they want the return of Mr. Biden? I cannot understand the American people. Whatever! It's okay. Just like in previous years of so many presidents come and gone there is always that POWERFUL ENTITY, that rules the world. It's not the Presidents nor the Prime Ministers, and it's not whom you know or what you know. 

Some people believe in the donkey carrying the pregnant Virgin to Bethlehem and the precious child Jesus to be born on the manger. Do you believe such religious rite? Whatever it is, skeptic or what, I love the elephant. I believe in God. I don't believe in donkey. It is a done key. They were done for 8 years. Oh, you wished there is another Roosevelt? LOL. There is no war right now. Roosevelt was up for 2 terms because of WAR. While Mackenzie King had it for as long as he wants to be the Prime Minister of Canada because he probably used all his family's wealth during the war to stay in power. No one in his right mind to use family's wealth to be the Prime Minister or President because the members of that wealthy family would do anything to stay out of politics.

Are You Hungry?

 Sometimes I get in the best mood to cook and roast certain meat that my family would like to have for dinner.

A pork loin is one of those meats that made us carnivorous. I panfried the chunk of loin first on hot skillet pan with hot cooking oil. You can use butter instead of oil, it doesn't matter, whatever is available in the pantry. All the much needed spices from ground black pepper, rosemary, salt, and mustard. Once the chunk of meat is roasted on all sides, then time to roast the pork loin in the hot oven until it is cooked for perfection. By the way, I had the delicious stuffing in this loin so savoury and tasty!

As usual, it is always an encore to have siomai even if the process, preparation and steaming of this viand is laborious.

Husband make a point that if I am not in the mood to cook, he will get into the kitchen and helped by providing the easiest meal, that is hamburger and fries.

Pork and green beans with taosi, this is an all time family's favourite.

Menudo? But not really a menudo. I don't know what to name this viand. It's a saute' process of cooking ground pork marinated first in soy sauce, oil, spices, garlic, onions then cooked with potato cubes and green peas. Yummy good.

Next, spaghettini blend with mussels and prawns. The sauce was made from scratch: fresh celery, carrots, onions, garlic, cilantro, cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese ground and mixed.

I think... I cooked the best spaghettini-seafood ever! A drop of  sriracha sauce  added a spicy twist to its superbly amazing taste to this Italian inspired viand.

Dream Like No Other

 I had a dream last night. I'm so glad it's a dream not a nightmare. I was invited to a wedding party, ceremony and reception. The bride and groom had chosen a tropical motif for the reception and the whole entire reception room is full of ferns and palms. Too many young green coconuts on the dining table and there's no room for any other kind of food. What the hell is that? The invited guests were given young green coconut and a ceramic pot of fern to take home after the event.

That's it. That's the dream,nothing else. I woke up and went back to sleep for the continuation... nah, no continuation. 

A dream is just like that, short, weird, very strange and it doesn't make sense.

The Unfinished Business

 There are too many things to do at home. Housework, lots of housework. I have to do the laundry everyday so that it wont pile up. I cook everyday and planning of what to cook, the preparation of the meal is not a laughing matter. Everything is from scratch, meaning using fresh ingredients from garlic to onions, tomatoes, veggies, except for meat (beef, pork, chicken, fish) that are frozen and have to thaw the meat first. You probably watch how those cooks and chefs cooked the meals on TV shows and how they prefer the ingredients for cooking then that's how it is being done at my own home. Not only that, have to clean the kitchen after the cooking task, there is dishwasher for the dirty plates, drinking glasses, cups and forks and spoons but the cooking utensils, pots and pans are washed and cleaned by hands. The housecleaning is a daily chore too. Everyday. All the works of the MOTHER. 

It would be nice if there is a closer restaurant nearby and just buy  cooked, ready to eat food and stop all the hassles. That's what some people are doing as if they have busy life. I have a very busy life too. Obviously.

I wonder if they really are busy during the pandemic when too many workers are out of work. Unemployment is at staggering so high level that if the Ministry of Employment wont do anything then what do you think will happen? 

So, I watched this movie of Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, it was "A Quiet Place." A sci-fi, horror movie. The family lives in the farm and they struggle for survival when monsters roamed the earth. They cannot make noises because the monsters have sensitive hearing that only slight movement, any kind of noise can trigger a sense of panic and the monsters have to devour and consume anybody that produces such sound. The good thing is the monster is blind. I know that's weird. In the end, another kind of sound could kill the monsters, however how many monsters they have to kill? That's why there's a sequel to the horrors of this movie story. I haven't watch the sequel or part 2 of  "A Quiet Place" yet.

Let say, the monsters are the "pandemic of today" what will you do? Are you to cower in fear and cover yourself, run away, hide and be a coward? Who will supply the food when the agricultural sectors are surrounded by monsters? Who will cultivate the land? Who will plant the crops? When all the basic necessities are derived from agriculture or farm lands? Including the  medicines, pertaining to potatoes...what can you get from potato crops? You can ferment potatoes into wine, alcohol, gas (fuel), it is the source of carbohydrates (flour), chips, fries, staple food, it is the source of energy that can power rockets and missiles. It's hard to believe that eh? How can, or how could that happen? Just watch THE MARTIAN movie starring Matt Damon. Can you do that with rice? Rice is a staple food too. You can have it as staple food for its carbohydrate nutrient, flour, wine, vinegar, fuel (? not really for fuel). Animals for meat and poultry mostly from farms. If nobody attends to the farm and cultivate the land, there will be no supply of food and medicines. All the works are based mostly through the source of basic necessities and human consumption. Anybody stopping the source of food supply and medicines for humanity are called evil monsters and what the hell they are created for in the first place?

The land, water and air > the crucial environment that we all should protect from invaders.

Maybe Next Time's The Right Time

 Thousands of hummingbirds flew in the sky even if the weather is a bit nasty. It was windy and the showers keep pouring down. There's no storm in the forecast. How the hell that we have those thousands of hummingbirds flying in the sky? The island is now a recipient of those species of birds?

Are the eagles happy with those hummingbirds? LOL.

I was having my breakfast, sipping a cup of hot brewed Van Houtte coffee when suddenly I looked outside and got the surprise of few hummingbirds who came to visit the feeder placed outside hanging from the edge of the gutter, so glad that my digital camera is handy within my reach and took snapshots from where I'm sitting on the chair by the table at the dining room. I can't take a swift shot, the birds are too fast and it took me many shots before the good shot to choose from but I really want a perfect shot of those hummingbirds. There are different species (variety) such as the ruby throated hummingbirds, then the turquoise/emerald green hummingbird and one hummingbird that is darker greyish with tint of blue in color.

Maybe next time...the true real perfect shots will be available with the hummingbirds flapping its wings. I have to practice more swift shooting. Or better have a Canon with perfect zoom lens.

My husband said the snapshots are good enough. Ha! You know me...can't stop shooting. I have extra 64 GB memory card aside from extra 32 GB memory card from 128 GB card so still looking for that perfect shot.

BIG BROTHER 22 ALL STARS

 Too late to post the result of the BIG BROTHER 22 ALL STARS result, anyway it was CODY the winner of the $500,000 from the BIG  BROTHER  SHOW.

NICOLE lose the last  Q&A portion of this reality BB game show. Julie Chen confirmed the winner of the contest and Cody has to evict Nicole who left the show crying.

With loyal ENZO backing-up CODY most of the time you know right there CODY wins the BB GAME.

Besides, the jurors also voted for CODY the winner of this BB 22 ALL STARS and even NICOLE voted for him. Not a big surprise eh? The big surprise is DAVONNE winning the $25,000 prize  for what? I don't know. LOL. j/k.  It should have been for TYLER. Whatever. Maybe they thought Davonne is Tyra?

TV Is Very Important In My Home

 Hubby asked me if I'm the one who recorded those HOUSE medical series. I said yes. I have too because sometimes the medical series had that wrong timing with my house work. I was about to cook our family dinner and then the next episode of HOUSE is on Channel 333. When my work is over at the kitchen then time to watch that episode. Because my hubby is a SEAL TEAM fan he had recorded those episodes for him to watch and re-watch later and he advised me to delete the HOUSE episodes so that he has enough space for SEAL TEAM. lol.

I deleted those episodes I already watched and thus saving space for some episodes in THE WALKING DEAD & SEAL TEAM.

It seems that the most popular series and shows have more than 10 advertisements to at least 50 ads in one hour full length show or series. While in another drama series or miniseries that you can watch at night have its full length show for just 30 minutes and 30 minutes of commercials or sometimes the show trailers are featured longer than the show. WTH! Why?

Looks like it's the advertisements that pays the whole channel station.

I also noticed that the time slots of the foreign shows keep changing as a means to not collide with other prime time shows that are very popular or most in demand. 

That's right, TV is very indispensable.

For Whom It May Concern

 

Halloween celebration will be on the last day of the month of October 2020. However, due to the global pandemic that is sweeping the world, I don't think it's wise to go for trick or treat and wander the streets and knock at doors just to ask for treats. 

If you have concern for your kids and your loved ones, do your trick or treats at the convenience of your own homes instead. Better be safe than sorry.
