Entertaining Yourself To Creativity

Nothing much to reveal here in this blog but some of the many alterations I did for my old clothes (not worn out yet) slightly used dress, pants and tops that need adjustment.

Adjustment to certain measurements from size 6, 8 to size 10 to size 12. What to do and how to do it? That's quite challenging right?

Of course good, accurate measurements using tape measure is the first process then adding extra fabric or lace, may be cutting one portion of the dress changing it to a trendy top instead.

Old style outfit modified to a stylish, trendy and fashionable outfit. That's the essence of  creativity.

You know practice makes perfect and this kind of keeping busy using the sewing machine that is reliable is worth the time and less money to spend. Well if you are thrifty this is the most economical way of  a time well spent form of entertainment.

 First thought I'm size 12 dress size. Had alterations once again to size 10 dress. I hope it wont go up to size 12 nor size 14. LOL. Darn! I should not eat anymore.

Majestic Peacock

It was in the news on CTV about those beautiful peacocks on top of the roof of some houses in the mainland of Vancouver. Would you believe? What on Earth those peacocks roaming freely in the sub-urban community?

Maybe they are pet for a family and then suddenly this pet burst out its population and that's the reason why you can see them on the yard and on the street in Vancouver. Too big for its breaches? The peacock is huge bird that can expand up to 6 to 8 ft. especially when the peacock spreads its majestic wings.

Trying to impress? Mating season? You're so vain? Modelling for your eyes to see? When the lovely peacock shows it wings spread wide open you can assume that the big bird is trying to get ready and prepared for anything.  That it is very alert and  warning you of something. It's a tactical defence. Intelligent peacock never ceases to amaze us. What could be the bird's gender?

Peacock bird is a sacred pheasant according to legends and the national bird of India. To have peacock as a family pet? Why not? Instead of a python, boa,  lion, tiger or alligator or monkey... peacock is a good replacement for a wild pet ONLY if you can manage to clean up their mess.

Sewing Time

Waking up to a cooler, gentle breeze of 14 degrees celsius. Wow! That's awesome isn't it? Almost autumn at summer time. Wouldn't it be nice if its always cold everyday in B.C.? Feeling like you are always inside an air-conditioned house or at the mall without paying for it (air con).

So, I started with my sewing project. But before that I need a material that will suit my design.  My husband accompanied me and my daughter to the Fabricland so that I can choose the fabric that I like. While my daughter Tam and I were browsing for the right material, suddenly somebody I knew approached us. Mrs. L.N. was all smiles when she saw us there. I think she was more than surprise that we were there and I was more than surprised about her stories. It's nice chatting with her because she's just bubbly chatty too just like me. She's already enjoying her retirement years then something abruptly happened, her mother (age 93) broke her hip and was at the hospital recuperating and that's keeping her family busy.  While she was talking to me, I noticed the "material she was holding, on her hand, on her palm." Looks like a piece of  mustard colored pocket detached from a pair of pants? I should have asked. She asked me if I sew the blouse I was wearing (blue/white florals, cotton blouse). I said I only did alterations on it sleeves. She asked my sons and she was happy to see my daughter. She was my children's teacher way back many years ago. Anyway, it's good to see her once again.

I continued with browsing. There are too many textiles that I like but you know have to choose something I can afford. Then my daughter and I were fixated on one bright color at the mid-section of the store and that's the fabric that we bought. I bought 6 meters of black lace and 1 1/2 meter of black fabric. After paying for our purchase decided to go home and then suddenly something clicked to my mind to try what's happening in another store and discovered that some bargain clothing are worthy of purchase. Two new pairs of capris (and jeans) ($7 for the black blazer fairly new) for the price that is totally amazing. The two pairs of jeans or capris looked like they are brand new. Probably donated by Ricki's clothing department store. Hard to believe.

Oh well, sometimes it pays to try and see what Salvation Army can offer in times of  hardship. LOL. Funny? You'll never know what's in a place like that. Some donated items are brand new, other clothing are slightly used and some of them are old. It's just that you have to use your vision properly to get the best deals.

While I'm posting this blog... I have to complain about my stiff neck. I was trying to finish the dress that I'm supposed to sew, end up a finished long skirt with side slit and a simple blouse. The fabric is delicate to sew. It was quite challenging. It gave me not only stiff neck but blurry vision and two broken needles. I wont buy a delicate fabric again  (poly/cotton/viscose?) shiny, waxy and woven like it's made for luxurious scarf or for sarong. Why I bought it? Because of its color and palmera design on its fabric. My husband Lorne knew that I would have problem with sewing that delicate textile. Because of its weave and glossy material it would need special needle and special thread.

Anyway, it's a trendy clothing (outfit) and it's finished. Yey!

Is She A He? Or HE is a SHE?

 Look who's peeking in at our door. It's not Freddie. It's not his brother Vito. It's the Orange cat. I don't know her name yet, it's the neighbor's pet on the left side of the neighborhood.

 Hello there Orange! Are you Agent orange? lol. I have to name her Orange. From now on you are Agent Orange. You have beautiful eyes. Are you male or female? Freddie and Vito are not here.

I wonder what this Orange cat doing outside, at our front porch. She (maybe she is a she as in female) scratched her fur on both sides of the patio chairs, going from left to the right, right to the left.

What's up dudette? Don't tell me you have fleas? I hope not! Don't give us fleas. Yuck! We don't let her inside our home. No way.

The photos were taken days ago. But this morning, saw some pieces of  orange hairy fur on the ground. Looks like she had a fight (rumble) with other cats in the neighborhood. At one point in time, she had a fight with another stray cat at the backyard near the forest. I think this Orange cat is a fighter. She could be a "he" and he is a warrior.

What You Can Learn From Watching THE BIG BANG THEORY?

They are GEEKS! They are NERDS! So what? I was once a geek and very nerdy when I was young. I know how it feels being a geek. I don't care. Is that a big problem if you are a geek or nerdy?

Watch the cast of the Big Bang Theory on TV and how these group of smart College students able to lead the pack of  nerds. LOL. Aren't they funny? They made you laugh without being stoned. They are intelligent students who do not need to consume alcohol and marijuana. You can be the cool kids your parents would be proud of without the need to be the pain in the butt of the community and country.

Whatever people! People who needs people. Are you people? Tell me if you are HUmans. LOL. Tell me if you are the Yeti. Tell me if you are the Peking man or the Java man.

I think somehow it's all baloney out there. I had seen so many of those baloneys trying to be smart. They had those perfect designed certificates from the University where they graduated and when they arrived at work they don't know anything. Truth is the most important thing in employment is experience and the reason for acquiring skills, and OJT is to perfect the skills so that you can be in good standing at the workplace. EXPERIENCE! Know your job. Do your job properly! Or you're FIRED.

You wished there is a UNIVERSITY OF EXPERIENCE where you can practice your skills in the most intelligent way and do the work properly. You cannot be the President you are now just because people voted for you and elected you in higher office. You must do your work diligently with pride, dignity and with highest honor. DIGNITY. Can we respect you? Do the young kids able to relate from you? Can you be the perfect ROLE MODEL for young kids???????????????? Young kids need ROLE MODELS. Not the role model for cursing and murder rampage without remorse. Not the role model for homos and sex. Absolutely NOT the role models for vices of all kinds. I was looking for role models out there for all the children who need mentorship and who they can relate to and will help them educate intelligently and better example for our generation.

According to former US Pres. Johnson, the saddest part of his life is serving the Highest Office of the Land. It was like being ALONE by himself doing all the work. Right! It was at the time when US Pres. Kennedy was fatally shot, wounded in the head and killed by the sniper Harvey Oswald. Pres. Johnson had it in a mad rush to be sworn in right away even before the Pres. Kennedy's  body was at the morgue. darn! Didn't wait for the man in the casket before the oath-taking took place. It was like give me the torch and I'll lighten up your world. Just like that sort of an Illuminati enlightenment.

Thank God For The Complainers

We had two freezer (small and medium sized freezer) shown on the photo above. It was at the time when my husband loved fishing and crabbing. The small freezer was actually used by my son C when he went on schooling in Vancouver for Design Animation in AIV. However, he was homesick and didn't finish his study wasting the scholarship grant. I think it was just wrong timing. He was asked to enroll right away at AIV and have the orientation at the time (same day)  when he was to graduate and attend the Graduation Ceremony in High School. It was a sudden rush of everything no need for him to have a break. He had BC skills he attended and passed and his volunteer work at the Home for the Aged are just one of the skills he had. The mainland is far too far away from where we live at the island. Besides the rent at the condominium where he is staying is too much for the budget although my husband paid the rent for the long duration of his stay while on schooling. It was tough for my son to live in a condo together with people he doesn't know. The condo suite is a 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms and he got to share his room with a stranger who also is a recent HS grad. going to College that time. They were both in preppy situation.  My son is too shy and naive. He might be the scholar we want to excel in Arts but you know he is very shy and don't talk too much unless asked. Anyway, he came home and the rest of his stuff, computers, clothes and accessories, textbooks and that freezer arrived at our home with him. At present time Cade is doing his own animation and whatever arts he learned from that institute. It would be nice if he only just stayed there but after the long Olympic Summer Games (London), he just decided to come home. What a coincidence.

I think it's really best for the whole family to settle in the location where the schools and university are located, otherwise young students will suffer in a sub urban noisy, busy location populated with diverse people from various walks of life. It's really a busy,crowded kind of living in the metropolis of Vancouver city. If you are new to that place you will have problem with commuting and socialization unless of course if you live there for so many years and you knew at least hundreds of people in the neighborhood. For a young 18 years old, first time to relocate in the main city without friends and without us there that's awful. But it's okay now he is better with us here at our home. My talented, shy but good, and kindhearted son without any vice (only computer) stays with my family at home. You can learn from school with computers and you can learn at home with computers. Look at Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg are smart because of computers. So what could a person who was born smart with computer can do?

What's life in the island? It is idyllic, tranquil, peaceful, the sunshine coast brightens up when you live along the beach and at the lake. If you live in the interior, super hot at summer time and colder during the winter. For those families with air con installed in their house life is sure cooler but the consumption of energy is superbly something to think about. We once lived in a house that consumed too much energy. It was hellish hot in that house that we have no choice but to use air conditioning unit. With heavy and thick insulation in that house air con is really a must. If not, we probably died from heat exhaustion. And if we stayed we'll probably in poverty because of high hydro. The salary per month might just be for paying the hydro and utilities higher than the rent for the house. No wonder that house is always for rent. That's crazy house! Freddy Krueger house!! Ha ha ha!

So we've been moving from one house to another in many places within the island. From duplex to single family rancher to up and down ( 2 level houses). Truth is would prefer a bungalow or rancher with 3-4 bedroom, 2 bathrooms and that would be perfect if its brand new with mortgage/rent that we can all happy about. I would prefer a newly built house, freshly painted according to the color of my choice. The kitchen should be modern whether it has modern appliances that's a plus. We are still keeping our brand new modern  stainless kitchen appliances just in case. The house we are currently in right now has old appliances from the 90's. I think the fridge has its fryeon whatever (not the energy saving fridge).

Yeah, yeah keep on complaining. Complaining is good for the heart. The more you complain the longer God will keep you alive. Did you know that?

Feast of Cajun salmon, hotdogs, pork/veggie curry, pancit canton, fries, spare ribs

I dug deeper once again at the bottom of our small freezer and discovered that we have that frozen cajun style smoked salmon in it. Prepared and cooked a small feast to celebrate Father's Day because we love the great provider, breadwinner of the house, my husband, the father of my children.

Mushrooms

Do you know your mushrooms? I only prepare and eat edible mushrooms we bought from the supermarket. I like the portobello mushrooms and the white button mushrooms. I use mushrooms as an edible meal in different way of how its been cooked: saute' with just plain mushrooms on hot frying pan with butter and squeeze lemon or lime and that's simple way of having it for simple meal and the flavor is tantalizing already. What more if you use mushrooms as added flavors for stir fry with veggies. Add mushrooms to your favorite Italian spaghetti or any rotini- spaghetti style dish. Plain saute' mushrooms as garnishing for your delicious beef steak (grilled or barbecued). Mushrooms are also great for Mexican wraps of any kind. You can use mushrooms for added value for any dish with coconut milk. Don't forget that mushrooms are also great for fried rice.

You can add mushrooms in your hot soup, sauces, and noodles of all kinds. For the vegetarians, mushrooms are great alternative for meat.

Known edible mushrooms: Portobello, White Buttons, Shiitake, Truffles
 although other types of mushrooms are known to be in the list of edibles I wont try them except those mushrooms >  4 mushrooms tried, tested and tasted.

SlugOut

One early morning, caught a slug clinging to the stem of our dahlia plant at the yard. My husband told me to get the table salt because to sprinkle salt on this menace will eventually die instantly. No wonder too many holes in those dahlia leaves. Yuck. I don't know how many slugs in the garden, most of them attack at night so that they cannot be seen by humans.

If they are not visible and you don't know if its slugs that attack at night there is that feed that farmers used to bait them. Sprinkle them around the garden, on the soil around the plants.
Yup, farmers know best.

SlugOut pellets are the baits at night for these radicals roaming at your garden. 

For those live slugs that clings to the plant table salt can kill these vicious slugs instantly.

Are You An Anglo-Saxon?

Code: GRILL. That's the code in one of the television channels. In another part of the world the code is ROAST.
How about in your place what's the code?

I would like to bake but I'm missing an important ingredient. So what's the best plan now? Definitely something else.

Let us unravel the latest news on TV. Finally the first face to face meeting between the US Pres. Donald Trump and NK Pres. Kim Jong Un happened for real in Singapore. Why in Singapore? Because the dude loves to sing "Fireworks" and he loves Katy Perry. Hmm, maybe that's a neutral place for both of them. Why they met? Because supposedly they have to sign the "Denuclearization of North Korea." NK is no longer a threat to the US! And that's good news! Well, we don't want firing of air missiles of course because you don't know what those missiles (components) are up to when they explode and when, where the targets are. Yeah, yeah, blah, blah. WAR GAMES.

Two volcanoes had exploded, toxic fumes and ashes,  hot lava flowing and had caused severe damage so far in Hawaii and Guatemala. Wildfires everywhere. Hot climate, flood and other calamities happened within expanse of two months (Spring) and our weather here at the island of Vancouver is doing great for the time being that we are experiencing rain showers yesterday and today. From Spring to Summer. Climate change gradually in matter of days.

The environmental changes in Canada is worth recording if you are into ecological study of the earth and you are an environmental scientist or botanist. Why not? Canada is the "Amazon of the North." The forest is so wide, so huge land (from mountains, hills, to tundra) and plenty of bodies of water from ocean to rivers, lakes, bays and streams where all kinds of species are worthy of study and research. Archaeologists are happy to do the digging, unearthing of artifacts, fossils, giant bones and skeletons of dinosaurs and whales... all these fossil remains are to be found (was discovered in Drumheller) in Alberta. A lot of things and happenings are going on in this part of the world. It's not all about games in here. Children should be educated not only in games but let them take part in looking after their own environment. While you have your land... You can give your land to others by losing the game. I think that's the discovery in today's standard. Play the game against the educated and you lose your land. LOL. What? Give the tundra!

Why always the GAME? Because the rest of the world are envious on the giant, huge, wide almost half of the earth's land mass belong to Canada and the rest of he world are envious. The land mass is so big and the population is less.

It's Year 2018. Let me remind you again that 2018 is not 1918. US Pres. Roosevelt 's vice is talking to the microphone day and night broadcasting on radio during his time as Prez. War time dude! The present US Prez. is delighted as always sending messages through twitter. Pres. Trump is the "Twitter Prez." A president has it's own significant symbols or symbolism to be known and famous for so that he will be remembered in History. I wonder what/how the PM Justin Trudeau will be remembered of? First of course he is "the son of former PM Pierre Elliot Trudeau." The PM who pardoned and paid millions of dollars to the killer of  the American soldier. I forgot the name of that Afghan. So far I don't know what the PM is known for aside as the "Teacher  who needs work experience." Or the Leader of the "WE." If he is the leader of the WE then he is an American! Ang gulo! Anglo-saxon ata.

NOTE: The map is so old and outdated that Canada is large because of the "double edging and panorama wide angle and probably the mapmaker Atlas made a huge mistake of including the iceberg when they created the map. When the iceberg melted the land has decreased. The land that belongs to Russia was mistakenly added to the land mass that belongs to Canada. The earth is becoming wrinkled and dry at summer time and when land lose its water it becomes dense and the movement of the earth is felt, the rotation of the earth on its axis is faster. When you are seeing Alaska in Washington, that's a joke.

Trick Or Treat

Sure, I will miss Madison Clark ( Kim Dickens) at FEAR The Walking Dead. The fans of FTWD will surely miss the mother of Alicia and Nick. I first thought the apocalyptic television series is meant for the Clark family in how they survive the zombie war but wont survive deception. However despite of all the survival skills, Madison proved them wrong that she is not only the sacrificial lamb for her own kids but also for the rest of the cast of characters who were left behind in the stadium. Is there any other way to escape the thousands of hungry  zombies? Why they didn't use a rope? Or drop a huge blanket of  tent to cover those rabid infected zombies? The escape plan is what they missed while inside the stadium. They could have provided the noise from the stadium and let those zombies in and then trap them inside the stadium and then use the exit gate out. You know that's a strategy for sheep, cattle and horses to gain control. Problem? Always that problem of scarcity of resources.

Anyway, maybe Madison wants out. I mean Kim Dickens wants out from the violent series when fighting zombies is easy but fighting against humans is hard. It's hard to compete and the competition is very stiff when age is probably the reason. ? Who knows? She's strong and able.

Who were left behind? Alicia, Charlie (the girl who killed Nick without remorse), Victor Strand, Morgan (from TWD), Grace (the reporter driver of the SWAT tank) John Dorie, and Laura. The ending of the series (season finale) had all the remaining cast telling story about Madison as a good mother, as good friend, brave and courageous and after the storytelling/obituary they all received cups of hot ramen soup. Look at those smiles! lol

What will happen to the beautiful fighter Alicia? She should just join Miss Universe or she is being groomed as "Alicia for Resident Evil sequel?" What will become of  Kim Dickens? She's a good actress, her mother role is one of a kind. She should join "Designated Survivor." She started as a School Guidance Counselor whose life skills training guided her own kids to be alive in the series for the past 4 years. Too bad that she is cast away this time. Or probably injured because her role and stunts are dangerous. If you had seen her part/roles as the doting, over protective mother who will jump down from the bridge to the ocean, then jumping again to survive from blasting when the dam was destroyed and collapsed in Mexico. The television series is almost a movie based on its quality.

The Talking Dead provided us with the next episode of FTWD in next season premiere: Morgan was walking alone the walkway (thr. the  huge mansion, with solar panels on the ground) and suddenly a walker approached him then a sniper hit the zombie but missed the target,  so Morgan just stabbed the walker on his head. The amateur sniper? Surprise,  it was Victor Strand peeking at the window of the mansion drinking a glass of wine.

INTO THE BADLANDS: The white son was killed by a father who is black. Are they really father and son? Then the widow had her daughter captured for firing squad. Is that really her daughter? What kind of parental  relationship is being reflected in this TV series? They all are warriors, fighters and barbaric. Everyone's turning enemies, they don't trust anybody. No wonder the title is "Into The Badlands." Mammals do not kill their own kind. However in the arachnid kingdom of spiders, baby spiders are eaten alive by their own mother. Sharks do the same thing.

Wake Up Reality

People in different walks in life would rather know the future instead of the past. Past has passed and the winner in the fast lane is Washington Capital against the Vegas knights in hockey Stanley Cup Championship 2018. Congrats!

Here's my mind boggling question... when the Vegas hockey team joined the hockey games? Just this year? And already they qualify for the Stanley? Wow!

Why Vancouver Canucks never win? They had the chance when Roberto Luongo was the captain of the team years ago and yet, didn't qualify for the finals. The twin Sedin brothers left and gone from VC and no winning. What's really the strategic plan for the Stanley Cup?

Vancouver Canucks became a "charity org." and that lessen their strength. It's now becoming a hockey team that trains new hockey applicants for hockey games. A hockey team being taken advantage of. Just my opinion. You may get angry at my opinion but obviously the team lose its shine and streak when charitable organizations are using them too much for its own gain of charity. There's no profit and the players do not gain any from anything without profit, without incentives because it goes to charity.  It becomes WEAK and when you are not that strong against deception the other hockey team wins. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If the Government becomes a charitable organization? You should pray all the time. It's no longer a business with profit and the people suffer and might go back to the Medieval Period when heraldry and chivalry is the way of life. You must as well ask Robin Hood to train the hoods again to rob each and every wealthy, greedy humans and that's okay because that's the kind of charity during the Medieval Period.

Darn! What's the future about? Repeat of History?

Are You Clueless?

Once in a while it's okay to sour-grape or be the bittermelon. Bite the bittermelon and laugh at the effect of what could the bittermelon will do for your health. Bittermelon of course is the fresh green wrinkled veggie that lowers high blood pressure.

Because we are the product of the 70's Elementary Education I cannot let this pass without a vengeance. Let us sort this out as a "reverie." Truth is vengeance is not mine. I am just an educator wanting everyone to know what really happened in the 70's from 1970 to 1975.

In Economics Year 1970- 1975 is sort of the Cyclical Peak. According to John "W." Kendrick (W for Tungsten W for Water and W for Engineering). For the Clueless it's called "Whatever!"

What really happened in the 70's? the tumultous incredible problematic years of economic burden all over the world. The cyclical factors when aggregate demands and capacity utilization was so HIGH. It was so high you cannot reach the sky. The highest point between the end of economic expansion. Wow! EXPANSE!

In all honesty, I was in Elementary Grades from 1970-1976 and that period of time was the time of perfection. It was sort of growth and productivity of the minds for every students. It was the years, long years of being in a Martial Law Era. Rote memory is imposed. Lots of memorization. We don't have the computers and cellphones. We relied on low technology. We don't even have typewriters in Grade Schools, High Schools and College. The low tech didn't mean our minds are low tech. Our MINDS are HIGH TECH! Our hands are highly skilled.  We have to be perfect and perfectionist because the President of the Philippines was almost a perfect human. The most intelligent human being was the President of the Philippines. What is life under the Martial Law? It was not chaotic. It was an era of PEACE & ORDER. It was an orderly alignment of everything, peaceful, clean, people were morally upright, honest, trustworthy, industrious, smarts, and courteous. Family values are implemented. Family customs, traditions are basically emphasized. Anybody who opposed to the orderly arrangement then face certain consequences. Who are the offenders?

In other parts of the world: Khmer Rouge Cambodians massacred the elite upper class society, the professionals were slaughtered. A war movie was produced in behalf of that chaotic situation of ethnic cleansing. The war in Vietnam non-stop, the economic condition of America is destabilized. Lots of recorded LOOTING. Death, theft, murders, assassination. Patty Hearst, daughter of Millionaire newspaper tycoon was abducted by PLO. The war in different parts of the world contributed to the many instability of the global economic and political conditions and it was "cyclical." There were bank runs, banks shutting down. Money invested and deposited in those local banks were GONE!  Poverty is high. Calamities and natural disasters (earthquakes and typhoons) were overwhelming. Too many millions automatically became homeless. The agricultural lands were destroyed and infrastructures were damaged and it took long years to rebuild. Scarcity of resources were evident. Fishermen had used dynamites in order to catch fish (because they came home without any catch). Dairy products and meat products were not delivered and the people were eating meat from horses and carabaos. Carabaos the water buffalos became extinct. People were hungry, no rice is available that ground corn became the staple product. Poverty stricken Vietnamese, East Indians and Filipinos suffered. Remember the many RED ALERTS? Why the Red Alerts? Infiltration? The end of the War in Vietnam in 1975. It's hard to determine who are Vietnamese, Chinese or Filipinos. Refugees abound in Philippines. The war in Vietnam is finished and another war broke up. A classmate of mine was crying when she was told of the news that her father( soldier) was beheaded in Mindanao. It was tragic! I cried with her, the whole class cried. It was one of the devastating shocking news. Then one after another news was heard when military troops were coming back home from Mindanao suffering from malaria and unfortunately so many hundreds to thousands of them died and their bodies lied in the morgue, some of them in the military hospitals and those dead soldiers were in the military church inside their coffins. Unbelievable but it's true. War is something so tragic and unforgettable.

Now what? The children of today at present generation are very fortunate. The result of hardship, structural shift and expansion? Our kids are the ones benefited in this structural result from the 70's. So children you must be thankful, be grateful because what you are wasting your time now is something you have to be honestly thankful and grateful. I may repeat what I have written here again and again but because I want you to KNOW and be informed of the legacy of the 70's.

Never Ending Story

The latest new technology in our time, at present time is remarkably perfect! NEW  TECHNOLOGY has created beautiful diplomas and certificates. Are you not jealous and envious? Hindi ka ba naiinggit? Yung mga diploma, achievement awards, scholarship awards marami nang nakakatanggap kahit hindi karapatdapat. Nagquizz lang, nagfinals lang for midterm may award na agad. Ang dami ng nakakatanggap ng awards at ang gaganda ng cerificate designs  nila. Every year may award and certification of achievement ang mga bata. Very generous ang mga teachers ngayon.

Bakit hindi ka maiinggit? Kasi nung panahon namin nakascore ka na ng PERFECT. Perfect lahat ng quizz and tests mo, walang award, walang certificate at walang medal. Merong medal and award pero at the end of the School Year at the Time of Graduation. Noon, kung sino yung honor student from Grade I to Grade VI in the same school sila talaga yung ihohonor ng School. But then kung may exchange students na English-speaking or from Exclusive Schools na biglang dumating in that public school it can change the rule. I hope it wont be the case in many schools. I think the schools should honor the students who studied so hard from that same school for the long duration of 6 years in Elementary. It would be a different standard in College or University. Noon, nakikipaglaban ang mga teachers sa students nila. They always tried so hard to compete with their students. Eh ngayon? LET IT GO na. Parang James Bay sila na they cannot let their students stay. Hindi sila SamSmith. They will let them pass no matter what. O heto ang medals and diploma mo. Umalis ka na. Huwag ka nang bumalik.  LOL. Goodbye and good luck! Is that fake news or fact news?

Noon, pag binato ka ng chalk and eraser kahit wala kang ginagawang masama, basta pag napaglihian ka at binato ka na lang wala kang magagawa. You are already being bullied by bad teachers and your classmates were so coward to help you. Classmates who were acting as blind, deaf and ignored everything that is happening inside the classroom because of fear. Because they are also frightened that the bullying will only prolong and they don't want being part of the situation even if its wrong. Before, students were so helpless. NOW? Anything those teachers are up to whether bullying, racism or discrimination... they will all end up in court because of lawsuits upon lawsuits that will never end.


However, there is an exception in every rule. If the student is a genius and extraordinary exceptional the rule and code is broken. You cannot let that passed you by. It's like an extraction of oil wherein you have to strike it while there is oil not when it's already dry.

Practice makes perfect! How Big Is Your Brain?

Famous authors are only using their pen names. Really? Whoever they are in true real life...ONLY THEM who knew them well. Maybe their own family doesn't know them as much as they know themselves. You don't even know yourself so it's impossible to know others. You should have multiple personality to become the world's famous novelist. Otherwise work with different people from various walks of life, join together and band together and interact thereby you can better learn/study and create effectively and prove that your craft is not just based on imagination. Imagination sucks! Truth is better than fiction. However fiction is best applied in futuristic endeavor and what is beyond the realm of reality. You can visit mental hospital and learn what those patients in asylum are suffering from because if you are mentally healthy I don't think you can experience illusion of grandeur, hallucination and out of this world experience. Maybe you can starve yourself for a week, without eating and drinking until deliriously you are seeing the devil and all the demons in reality and in your dreams.Heh! hannibal!

Edgar J. Hoover, the former  FBI Director. American. (?)  Nobody knows his background. Nobody knows him really well. When he applied for work at the FBI Headquarter, he was asked, interviewed and he was asked once again about his family background On and on...on and on))) ha! sounds like the song.  Nothing can be derived from his background. His parents were dead. No sister or brother. No known family. That didn't matter anyway. He became the most popular FBI Director since World War II up to the time he passed away.

What about Jason Bourne? Jason Bourne is a movie about FBI Agent who was "brainwashed." Brainwashing can affect a person's memory. It can affect the total memory of an individual and it has a long term effect. PTSD is one of the side effect. So adverse effect that can totally mess up with the rest of the cast.  It can develop a long time memory of a knowledge that is forced and artificial. The memory of brainwashed persons are "forced or programmed and has debilitating effect and negative effect on the people these brainwashed persons are affiliated or acquainted." Messy and bloody encounters.

Have you been brainwashed? You can be brainwashed by anybody if you are a "pushover." You can be brainwashed based on your kind of mentality that is easy to be manipulated. You can be brainwashed not because of the water being forcely poured on your head. You can be brainwashed because you are susceptible and vulnerable to anything. If  it's the only "memory" being pushed through your mind day after day until for so many years that you forgot the vital memory that belongs to your persona. Are you still the original person even if you are brainwashed by bad people trying to lure you to do something bad? Or you are just bad and the bad influence is affecting you in the most negative way? Too many movies and TV series when some individuals are forcefully brainwashed, whatever the objective or motive only the brainwasher knows as part of the experiment or because of war and interrogation is part of that war as in "systemic."

Maybe you are a student of Law and the only book you read is about law then that's the most vital memory that is stored in your brain. To practice Law you must have to read a lot of textbooks pert. to Law and defend court cases. It's the same with Medicine. You can be the best physician ever if you have been trained in many medical cases in the clinic and hospitals. Surgeons are trained through actual operations. How many surgeries and operations needed for you to be the most in demand. Even Olympic athletes are trained by the quantity and quality of training. Snipers are trained too when it comes to shooting targets.  Practice makes perfect. If its the only fundamental capacity of being restored to your memory then that's the most important being nourished through your mind. If you cannot store or restore any other knowledge or information then something is wrong. Your mental capacity or mental absorption is lacking on something, lack of space or missing a part that can be mentally challenging.

Some people who can able to restore general knowledge as if their mind is similar to a computer that can store and restore GB or gigabytes of data. That we don't know if there is such an entity with bigger brains. How big is your brain? How much data can you store in your medulla and brumhilda? Maybe it depends on the quantity and quality of the frontal lobes of your brain.

Truth is you can really be THE GENIUS the world ever known for a particular knowledge that is acquired by your brain and retained in your brain. You ca be the genius because it's the only thing being forced to your brain and examples are relatively represented in Einstein's knowledge in Physics. Isaac newton is a genius just like Einstein because both of them never stop at nothing in their search for that incredible "force of energy." Both scientists were listed as AUTISTICS and the other one was probably the student of Dr. Hans Asperger.

You can be the genius if you seek a certain knowledge and power that the world has ever known and you are the pioneer setting that trend to be known. Stephen Hawking is a genius based on his knowledge of particle theory of acceleration. A genius is somebody with the power to apply and uplift greatness beyond any means that ordinary humans cannot do or fathom by ordinary means. GENIUS is defined as EXTRAORDINARY with extraordinary power to make a difference for mankind.

Okay, I heard there's that witch hunt that is going on and on somewhere around the internet and in reality. When will it stop?

Are you educated? How many are educated in our generation at present time? Are lawyers different from being a witch? Or are doctors different from the witch? How about the meteorologists and the pharmacists... are they very different from the witches you know from the very definition of witches?

Nothing to watch at this point in time. Actually waiting for the HEROES EDITION of AMAZING RACE CANADA host: Jon Montgomery. Long waiting. The most watched television show/race will be premiered in July 2018.

So, who is your hero? Superman? Batman or any of the Marvel Superheroes? I don't know who your favorite. Maybe your hero is your neighborhood Spiderman. Could it be your community's fireman, police officer, doctor, Olympic athlete, the lawyer who helped you bail out from a crime you are not guilty, your politician, your accountant, the media persons, the action star/stuntman, the actor or actress, maybe the military officer you admired or simply irresistible  hero is actually your own father. Whoever is your hero... is your hero to join the Amazing race?

Whoever are to join the Amazing race in July surely it would be exciting for us to see the contestants who will take part in the non-scripted race in different countries around the world. It will be the same prize? That I don't know. Just wait and see.

For the meantime, I'm still hook on Masterchef and HGTV's renovation of old houses. You know too many homeless people in Canada and if there are houses available out there not too many can afford them. Maybe they can afford to buy a house for their own family but their food intake is less and utilities they have to budget in order to pay their utilities that is almost equal to the mortgage of the house. Be honest. Nobody is rich until graft and corruption takes place and that's according to somebody who knew what graft and corruption is. Anyway, I'm not to pay loopholes. Why? You haven't pay my wages yet.  Because you know whether you like it or not you are all benefited from IT.

My fair complexion has changed dramatically. I'm getting dark. How could that happened?

Right. The weather temperature in this part of the island is warmer than in another part of the island.

Or we have to blame the water.  

The water is probably the culprit here. Imagine, I am always inside the house, I get out of the house once a month to go shopping and to have a darker skin when I'm not a dark person seems absurd. 

So maybe the water is the problem here.

Motives

I don't know if you are using the secured site for your blogs but with the web browser on your computer screen will tell you. Anything can be traced here based on how you use your internet especially if you have a blog that is compensated by the number of advertisements. You know those pop ads that surrounded your web blog. If you click the ads on such website that gives a "compensation or wage for such blog author."

What's the problem with pop ads? These pop ads are like bugs ready to swarm your computer screen. They are hungry. Some pop ads can shut down your computer and leave your computer in a "disaster like scene and it will automatically block anything and all you can see is the black colored screen." You can try to reboot just in case. If you can get back or buy a brand new computer because when damage is done what else can you do?

Now I know why some Bloggers would rather not use those Adsense because you only get to earn cents and what else? You are all over another domain in different heading and different websites and wonder are you still the owner of your blog?

Hmm, that maybe at some point in time I received phone calls as far as India, Africa and other far, far away countries telling me that there is something wrong with my computer. WTH! Maybe they are scam and scammers trying to hack the system because their main objective is to give them the IP # of your computer and then they will fix it. ha!?

What the hell! I don't have Adsense in my blog. I didn't sign up for it. That only lead me to believe that there are so many liars out there. Tell me, is there somebody who signed up for Google Adsense (in my blogs) without informing me? I wish somebody out there have informed me so that I know what's going on. I can't let my blog composition in the draft mode/section anymore.

It's nice to be compensated. It's good to be paid for work done in the most honest and decent way. But if my blogs will be swarmed by bugs, virus and unruly individuals then it's best to blog without those ads that popped every time and deliberately tracked down cookies. At some point there are blog writers who honestly will warn you about it but it's too late for some people.

I think whoever those advertisers are they should talk to me, ask my permission first and let me know in writing if ever whatever their motives are. I cannot let my blogs get  hack and be misinformed about their motives on how they make money using my blogs and jeopardize my own security.

Anyway, I tried another blog somewhere not in the Blogger network nor the Google network. The owner of that blog is blogging in a private website. I clicked something there to find out what will happen and then my computer shut down and went black. I turned my computer again for re-start and on the screen "it's initializing a start-up repair."  Uhm, Fishy! I feel like want to have fish for dinner but not in the mood cooking something oily so, we just had Italian spaghetti and garlic bread.

Sure, I can make up that repair: After dinner and after watching ZOOMBIE the movie, repaired the white curtains for my bedroom which is quite long in length almost touching the heater. So done that in few minutes.

Next...

One website has the same problem and my web browser states that the website of those 2sisters are improperly configurated. No. they are not Olympic athletes. lol. j/k. I don't have problems browsing on websites that are known to be in good terms with the TOS or websites who are following the internet protocol. My God what is wrong with those internet users? What is there for them to hide? LOL. Are they the hackers that we have to guard ourselves and guard our computers?

Four Seasons

Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn

It's chilly today and it feels like Autumn. That's why I have that photo-image there above. I don't mind having this picturesque view of the trees at the backyard. What if I can enlarge this and frame it for the wall in our home?

It's 9 degrees Celsius tonight so it's gonna be cool and maybe will turn off the rotating fan.

It's nice to have a cool weather temperature everyday but what will happen to the tropical plants that we bought and planted at the yard?

I know the unpredictability of weather is sometimes crazy especially when it should be hotter at this point in time at summer time. So weird.

Thank God It's Friday!

Another day, another dollar?! O' m Gee! I don't really know what to blog today. I think had tackled almost every subject, objective in my blogs since the time of Blogging is the most common way of writing throughout the internet.

Oh, some taboo subjects I haven't reach that peak sort of because you know...if you want to be read and if you want your blogs to be read and do no harm is the code then it's better, it's wise to do blog about something that we can all agree as in "majority wins."

I wonder who won the $500 Gift certificate from CRGC. I know everyone's very excited at the time when I was there at the flower/botanical garden. One elderly woman put her hands on the big aluminum bowl full of raffle tickets and wished loudly that she wants to win the prize. I smiled at her loud expression. I wish there's a wishing well in there with water  and toss the coin "wishing I'll be the winner." ha ha!

What could a $500 worth gift certificate would be? Is that a $500 gift of fabulous botanical plants from the garden? Is that a gift certificate that you are allowed to purchase only in their store? Is that equal to cash? Instead of such certificate you can ask for cash instead? Whatever!

It's June 1st now and if you are not called within 24 hours today then you are not the winner.

What a $500 cash would buy in today's time? That's worth of grocery (food, cleaning supply maybe clothes and pair of shoes). Or a new computer laptop. Maybe a brand new Canon digital camera.

Okay dream on people. Whatever the outcome maybe just accept the fact that if it's for you it is for you and if it's not for you? Whatever, I don't care! I wont lose my sleep on that.

I don't let something so small get in the way of my blogging happiness. I am not even paid for my work here for the past 8 years. If you know that quality and quantity bothers some other people whose standard is so high but compared to my work without pay? Uhm, he he bragging again. Sorry! Play SORRY if you have nothing to do because I'm doing all the work that those people are supposedly be doing.
