IS IT GOOD TO BE YOU? OR IT'S GOOD TO BE ME?

 The Six Episodes TALAMASCA: The Secret Order had its finale last Sunday on AMC. I know that sucks! I wish there are more episodes of Talamasca but that's it. No more! I hope there is Season 2, if Anne Rice has not written Part 2 of it then the Australian actor Nicholas Denton (Guy Anatole) should write its next chapter.

Did you know that Australia will kick out millions of teens from Social Media? You mean FACEBOOK? How & Why. Yeah wonder why? I think the only people who can kick people out of Facebook is Mark Zuckerberg & his Facebook Team. 

Did you know Facebook account users should at least be age 18 years old and above? I don't know why some account users are below age requirement. 

Part of it is the parents want to show off their kids to their friends and other people that's why. However their space get so overwhelmed that they probably open up account intended for their kids.

So why I have always been sketching MUSHROOM in my Sketch Book as you ever noticed?

I saw this panoramic view of the mountains and that small island through the internet so I decided why not draw it and I added some people riding the boats.

My husband thought it is better for me to draw and paint scenic views or beautiful landscapes rather than draw animals.

Truth is I draw what my my mind and heart dictates and specially if it regards with what kind of mood that day.

MYSTERY

MARS Rover, Mars Curiosity, Mars Perseverance...

You wont believe this: A By Law Officer just arrived and knocked at our door! OMG! Two By Law Officers actually. They are dressed like ICE ICE Baby! LOL. No not funny! Why I'm laughing? Yeah, me being a little bit Autistic makes me laugh at something that is not funny at all.

So, the By Law Officer told us that "somebody" called and complained that our Dodge Ram was parked at the parking space without moving for 48 hours at the front of the townhouse where we live. Actually, tenants are allowed to park their vehicle cars or trucks in front of the space provided by the owner of the townhouse, building. Two vehicles are allowed for each tenant to park in those spaces. However, the By Law Officers granted ticket and my husband has to pay the sum of money on the paper document that was left on the windshield of the truck.

IS THIS FOR REAL? The parking space at the front of the building where we live is space for the tenants to use for their vehicles. It is legal to park it there! All the tenants park their cars in the same space to use for their vehicles. There is enough space for tenants to use the allocated space.

WHO  that somebody who complained? Is he the same suspect that vandalized our truck? Is he the same suspect that damaged our car's rear window mirror? It should be...  us who should report such crimes before but knowing we are new in this neighborhood we just let it go. I kind of think that "anonymous suspect was eyeing on us for sometime." Is he the lurker and the freak who tried to poisoned me? |Poisoned as in past tense! That's why I am on |dialysis since 2023. Is he the guy who once wrecked the garden hose and the townhouse fence? Or there are two suspects in this troublesome townhouse?

I have too many questions. But right now, let us find out who the suspect is. The By Law Officer wont tell us because it is confidential. They are not allowed to reveal the complainer.

That's my mission now. FIND THE SUSPECT! I can solve other mysteries, why can't I solve who the suspect when he is just around the corner of this townhouse.  

I know it's weird. My husband and I used to manage a 31 unit Townhouse for 24 years and now somebody complained us to the By Law Officer for parking our truck in a parking space provided for tenant's vehicles. It is so strange, really it is. IS THAT LAW LEGAL? 

Ah, can somebody investigate on the suspects that we know who are more than suspects in wrongdoings? Because parking a vehicle on parking space designated for tenants that is not wrong.  Vandalizing vehicle, wrecking a truck's rear mirror and God knows, our truck was in perfect condition when we arrived here but something went wrong, so many things not right being here at the townhouse. 

I know, I know. Somebody just told me that "I am no longer a target!" Right there I know there is something that doesn't makes sense that my suspects had increased two folds. Maybe I have to call the FBI,  CIA & NBI.

Isn't it a coincidence that whenever I tackled about Sports and Politics here in my blogs there is always something that will stop me and my work in my blogging community? Now you wonder why Minister Gibeault had resigned. He was once the Minister of Environment under Prime Minister Trudeau. He resigned when Carney-Smith decided to continue the long oil pipeline deal without consultation with the First Nations & BC Premier David Eby. Isn't that weird & controversial?

You get yourself in Politics then you become target. Like who am I they want me as a target? There are bigger targets. I am just a smaller common entity. I am not large as the star or planet to be conquered. I am not the biggest fish in the ocean. Let me tell you whoever you are targeting me or my family you'll end up in Inferno. 

 

LIFE AS YOU KNOW IT

 

Have you seen or watched the sci-fi movie PASSENGER with Jennifer Lawrence? In that movie, there is that special AUTODOC Machine that function as the complete doctor/surgeon that can cure, repair, heal damaged and wounded part of the human body while inside the machine. It also has defibrilator that revives the almost dead human inside the machine. This is somewhat similar to that "machine" or the pharaoh's coffin in the movie STAR GATE that automatically revives or resurrects a human being from its death. 

This is the kind of scientific machine that those scientists should invent but maybe there is already one like this in hidden bunker in Area 51.    ? 

What they have to do is specialized that MRI machine, put all the functionality of the mechanics for its designated purposes and voila YOU HAVE TO LIVE AGAIN.

What will happen if you can live forever? The population of humans will eventually propagate Earth as fast as lightning and earthlings must conquer another planet. Mars is already being explored for many years now. I don't know how many rockets been fired up there and how many missions been recorded. Mars Curiosity, Mars Opportunity, Mars Perseverance are still doing their tasks roaming Mars for its operation of digging the surface, soil, rocks, so far no water yet to be found. Latest news, scientists heard  crackling noise of lightning.  IT IS INDEED THE SEARCH FOR WATER that made those astronauts explored the Moon but because it was barren as in life wont exist, the moon is just used as "satellite. " MARS IS THE NEXT FRONTIER!

That's it folks! WATER, the life giving source water is the first and foremost vital importance for life. Water is more important than anything else in this world. Without water, no life will ever grow on every planet. You wont have food.  It will be barren like the moon. There will be no vapor, therefore no clouds in the atmosphere. You will see the aurora borealis day and night. The UV rays will penetrate like normally and everyone will have skin cancer. No protective layers to protect the inhabitants.  There is no process of condensation and evaporation. Think about this on our own planet EARTH... once you contaminated the water eco system of this planet, life is over! Hmm, maybe you could live by drinking juices from all the fruits. You can desalinate salty water. But what if those fruits that give liquid/fluids also was contaminated by the filthy contaminants in water because it sips through the roots of all trees? OMG!

That's why ENVIRONMENTALISTS and Climate Change Advocates are very, very strict in protecting the most important source of LIFE on PLANET EARTH.

ARTWORKS

 

You know how long for me to draw each drawing or images above? You wont believe it so better not reveal it. But how do you rate my kind of drawings?

I usually used ballpoint pens for drawing instead of using pencil. I'm more at ease using pen because it glides on the surface of the paper and pen is smoother on the surface and I don't worry about erasures  because when you are used to drawing using pens you don't commit error or mistake. It just comes  naturally. 

As a creative artist, don't like criticizing other artists for we are all different in ways we perceived subjects, objects and sense of aesthetic and the form of arts. Each of us has been given the gift and talent to peruse and use the talents given to us. 

ISSUE OF PRACTICALITY

 The world is full of deceit and deception. BEWARE!

Breaking News yesterday had me thinking out loud because I was disgusted about the partnership of PM Carney & the Premier of BC Danielle Smith's when it comes to signing an agreement about the oil pipeline from Alberta to BC. This is without consultation from the Premier of BC David Eby and the First Nations. Sure that's for economic purposes of the country but more an advantage to Alberta and career opportunity for Daniele Smith as they both laughed so hard about their deal. 

They laughed like " "  as if mocking the people of British Columbia. I mean, it's not really funny! It is awful and hurtful for those involved. Even the premiers of Ontario and Quebec didn't like such disrespect and arrogance. I myself did not like their mocked laughter. It is uncalled for, unbelievable those two creatures! That led to the resignation of MP Gibeault who was once a Minister of Environment. That's how controversial it is that Earthquake shook Alaska at 6.0 magnitude on Richter Scale. Yes North America is frequently been visited by quakes. 

Made me think about all those wildfires that are so mysterious not all caused by lightning strikes.

Darn! I should just move on and take the right way as in moving forward not backward.

It's November 28, 2025.  Two days from now is December 2025. My oh my... how fast days are going. Mountains surrounding the island of Vancouver has snowy alps already. Whistler is ready for its winter enthusiasts for skiing, cross-country, snowboarding and tobogganing.

While you dear cat... you can only appreciate what's indoor. How about watching a goldfish in a crystal bowl?

That's right we can only enjoy what makes us happy.

DESIDERATA - GOLDEN MORAL COMPASS

 

I always mentioned DESIDERATA in my blogs because it is the most remarkable poem ever written. Go placidly amidst the noise and haste... Max is somewhat a monk I think as in very angelic and innocent.

Well he could be a monk eh? Or an angel disguised as human.

NOTE: When I first read DESIDERATA it was an anonymous poem, it was a manuscript written and found inside the Old Saint Paul's Cathedral. That's all I know. 

IF written by Rudyard Kipling has the same kind of emotion and attitude that leads to being emotionally humane in the most possible way.

ROAD NOT TAKEN that too seems a wonderful way to lead where no one has taken but you must take the road not taken because obviously enemies and the devil has a way of trying to lure you in their way.

INSTINCT and MORAL CONSCIENCE lead you to be confident with yourself. Believe in yourself, be good to yourself and strive to be happy no matter what obstacles are in your way.

You don't have to believe everything. If you don't see it with your own eyes... and you didn't hear it with your own ears... and if you are not physically in that situation you don't have to be a witness.

I AM NOT READY YET FOR CHRISTMAS

 I woke up at very early morning today at about 3 am because of the loud noise coming from our neighbor's wall. The noise was kind of somebody kicking the wall, "thug, thug, thug." It was on and on. So I told myself better get up from the bed  and had my cup of coffee instead. This is the earliest breakfast coffee ever! The noise continued still until it stopped at 4 am, finally. I should call 911 because of the commotion? Nah, this is not the first time those strange noises are. Their child has Autism and "her noise" is just part of who she is and I am trying to understand as a good neighbor.

I can have an afternoon nap later. 

I was asked if I'm ready with Christmas. OMG! I need lots of money to be ready with Christmas holiday and traditional gatherings and all the festive foods on the table. So, I am not so ready. lol. I don't even know if I have to decorate. I might re-use the old festive decors from last year. Then the Christmas tree? You know how much is the fresh trees from the forest or tree farm? It was $50 (6 ft. Douglas fir) the last time we bought one. With two dogs running around the house, don't really know where to place the tree if ever we bought one. 

Know what? I think we'll just resort to having really good delicious foods on the table and have the whole family in a warm cozy atmosphere by the fireplace. Ngek! We don't have a fireplace anymore. Remember we moved out from that home and what we have is the warmth of electric board heater by the wall. LOL. Yup, things had changed dramatically for us. I don't really know who needs the drama because I don't like drama!

Then I tried to think that Christmas is actually the Holy Birth of  Baby Jesus it is not your birthday nor it is not my birthday. Darn! You should be at the Church for the Christmas mass. If you have kids, or little ones, you should take them with you to the Church and let them start with religious devotion. For the old people who are not religious you don't have to fake it just be good and be of good service to your family and others who need your help and support. With the children, you can only take them to religious rites at the Church because you are the parents  but when they are already adults they have their own rights and freedom to choose religion. 

It's only the 25th of November. 25 Days from now and it's Christmas... I know. Some people already have gifts they purchased from last year's Boxing Day as in they are well ahead of the Rat Race. 

By the way my sister came home from the one week holiday in Cancun, Mexico. They were not able to see the dolphins as in they booked their stay in a resort one hour away from where the dolphins are and that's another hundred dollars to spend and couple hundreds to frolic with the dolphins. They just stayed at their hotel with swimming pools and the great thing about their holiday is the great abundance of lavish festive foods, buffet style, eat all you can for free! Actually not free. It is just inclusive with the one week stay at the hotel. All the amenities: gym, pool for kids and adults, arcade, entertainment, foods, etc. I didn't ask how much is the total for all the inclusive holiday treat. Actually her 3 daughters gave their parents the holiday treat that's what it is all about. My sister gave us pasalubong (gifts) : Cotton shirts, golf hats, fridge magnets, key ring holder with insignia of Cancun, Mexico.How lucky she is and her husband to have grown up daughters who are all working, with family and able to give their parents special treat every year on a trip to another country. At one time they went for holiday in Dominican Republic, Philippines, and they will go back to Philippines next year. Great!

Me? What about me? Oh I can dream dreams you know... lol

RISKY BUSINESS

 British Columbia is more like a "province" of Canada in the sense that majority of the land is used for agricultural purposes and the  forest is the widest largest part of the land aside from having large bodies of water, rivers and lakes. It is also the mountainous part of Canada. It has the long mountain ranges like a cordillera, situated in the rings of fire.

Let's tackle about the largest huge amount of trees everywhere surrounding BC. Billions of trees and millions of wild animals and birds of different species of course.

The trees, what type of trees in the forest and all over BC. The spruce is all over the East coast to the West. Douglas firs, cedar, hemlock, maple trees, alder, poplar, pine, oak, and birch trees. The rest of the foreign trees were planted here in BC just because they were given as customary gifts such as: Japanese maple trees, gingkoba, cherry blossom trees, chestnut trees, palm trees, banana trees, katsura trees (can be found in Courtenay, BC) Yeah, the Japanese seemed too generous in giving seedlings of their native trees from Japan.

Too many products you can derived from trees such as lumber, logs, wood for building housing, bridges, electrical post, furniture, totem poles, banca, ship, canoe, crafts, wood and paper products, pulp, syrup from maple, sap, rubber, etc.

BIRCH. You wont believe that you can take the bark of the birch for building canoes. 

Each province in Canada has its own economic diversity, economic sources  and resources.

BC is known for its rich forest, well endowed agricultural lands, known for fishery,  clean water and vast supply of hydro resources. That's why if the Premier of BC, David Eby is not in conformity with the Alberta's Premier its because he knows that the risk of having those oil/gas pipelines will be environmental risky. 

Oh well, think about it. Those politicians are game players and they are risky players too.

What do you think you should do if you are not a gambler?

Know what? I will only buy a fresh Christmas tree this year if its worth $25 or decides to not having a tree at all.

MONA LISA'S FACE COULD CHANGE

 My husband went shopping together with our neighbor D and the two dogs Raven and Echo. I told my husband to bring the long list (in paper) of what he needs to buy so that he wont forget those stuff. However, when he arrived home with bags of groceries, he told me he forgot something? Huh? How that happened? It is all in the list. He forgot to buy bbq sauce for the chicken that he would like to grill and bake for dinner. Hmm... okay that was not in the list. I did not write about bbq sauce so that's my fault.

He didn't forget the curry powder but that is not on my list though. Anyway, he said he will go back in the next two-3 days because shopping in the afternoon in supermarket has no deals to find. The price of meat products more cheaper in the early morning. 

Instead of chicken for dinner, we had pork/vegetables sinigang instead. I love tamarind soup base for hot soup during Autumn-Winter seasons. Hot soup really good for cold weather.

WORLD TV DAY

 

Are you fond of watching classic movies? Once in a while my husband and watch classic movies such as films with actors John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Omar Shariff, Charlton Heston, Olivia de Havillan, Max Von Sydow, Elizabeth Taylor... 

MOVIES: The Ten Commandments, Cleopatra, Dr. Zhivago, Soylent Green, The Greatest Story Ever Told, etc 

Yeah, seems like I am too old right? LOL. But most of all love watching those war movies because of the cinematic effect and the portrayal of every character is so real and surreal almost that you can sense the power of such life and death dramatic sequences that could shake your senses shaking humanity as a whole and brought to life your emotions and let you believe that what happened in those unforgiving part of history is to never let it happen again. 

Your TV maybe so small or too big with wide screen and  sound and color so vividly adjusted to your viewing pleasure. With the remote control that you can push buttons conveniently for its functions. Imagine the 60's and the 70's that you have to stand by beside your TV set to change channels. That's awful right?

Every living room, every house in every part of the world has TV set. Television is almost an indispensable tool for entertainment, learning, and research. You can also view your pictures (from your microchips)  and slide them one by one through the screen of your TV. You can also use your TV as your own computer screen.

Some people  used TV as a "painting."  Others had used it as a radio and stereo for music. You can also use it as "fireplace." LOL. I mean there is a channel that leads you to push that button channel that gives you the fireplace, sunset or sunrise or if you want an "aquarium" with live fish swimming on the screen.

Sometimes, you don't have to see the actual solar eclipse from the location of where the event unfolds, you can watch it from your TV.

Where the best place to watch the Olympic Games it is from your TV of course! I know, some people would argue that it is best to see the most remarkable Games at the venue but you cannot watch all the games if you are stuck in one place. Besides, the Venue is always full and hotels probably fully booked.

Next year would be the 2026 CORTINA WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES in Cortina, Italy. Wouldn't it be nice to have a huge wide Television set and watch the most popular, most elite and the very best of the Olympic Games.

Anyway, today is WORLD TV DAY, hope you have so much fun watching on your TV. Have a Happy Saturday and make the most of it as truly an enjoyable day no matter what the weather is.

TGIF

 TGIF. Is there frost outside? NO. However, it is very cold! It feels like Winter not Autumn. I haven't watch the news today and I don't like waking up my hubby with the sound of the TV. Besides the news today was the news last night at past 10 PM. Better just read the internet news.

Do you like gnomes? I found them such an amusing "creatures" created by those artisans or craft makers who turned dwarfs as saleable items for Christmas. Great for gift-giving and too great to adorn on Christmas trees.

I must say there are so cute and adorable. They are more like collectibles.

From the Old Testament to the New Testaments and what followed... were ROYALTIES born from United Kingdom, from Russia, European countries, and Asian countries had their own Royalties that were historically configured & recorded to the vast knowledge of Missionaries and Great Explorers to the New World.

While we have the choice and option to have our own Family Tree to be recorded and traced our own lineage on Ancestry.com.    It is really up to you, whatever makes you happy.

GENEALOGY

 HANUKKAH tomorrow or they changed it for December instead? Some of the Jews replaced it too with Chanukkah. Uhm, are they Chinese Jews? The Jewish Calendar of events seemed ever changing unlike the Roman Catholic calendar which is Gregorian. Usually Christmas is always December 25 and New Year January 1st.

I woke up late today at about 6 AM  instead of 4 AM . I usually wake up earlier than 4 AM or earlier than 5 AM. Oh I know now, I watched the last news at 10 PM  that's why. 6 AM is still early actually. As of now 6 Celsius temp. 

TOPIC for today as the theme circulating in the Blogworld: Genealogy.

  My Sister-in-Law (Husband's older sister) is into Genealogy and she had traveled all over the world to search for all the "TURNER'S" in the Family and Clan and all the relatives in Europe. Who belong to their Family Tree?  Her BOOK was already thousand pages with photos and manuscripts from 18th Century.

Well, I don't know who can start the GENEALOGY of my maiden name VERDAD in my Family Tree because I cannot get out from Canada because I just can't because I'm sick. Wish my older sister can do that. She should visit Spain instead of Mexico. lol. Nah, actually it was the Spaniards who came to Philippines and stayed there for 500 YEARS.

I was reading a Genealogy of a blogger-writer in another weblog who had a complete Genealogy of his family and clan from his great great grandfather from 18th Century with combined old photos but the person who is the author of that blog never ever post his own photo. Hm, that's weird. He is protecting his own photo and photo of his family but showing all the photos of his old ancestors. What is he afraid of? 

Here, what I have to be afraid of? I have relatives who are lawyers and owned Law Office and cousins in the Military Philippines & USA  and Federal Law Enforcers, NBI, and GOD is my Witness. I have relative who is an Archbishop. Really, nothing to be afraid of. The bad people should be afraid of their own wrongdoings.

MYSTERY, Mystery, mystery. Who wants mystery?

 Something weird going on with my computer's picture folder. Don't tell me my computer is being hacked or what? I'm uploading more artworks in my folder but for whatever reason it wont upload or download. Maybe its full and have to delete some of those files.

Time to post artworks of my VIKINGS. Don't you like watching the VIKINGS on History Channel? I was one of the fans of Legartha. However, when she was killed, and the "Ivan Boneless" became the lead character that's the end of watching it. He was a good actor but if the lead characters are gone from the big picture, viewers get upset. This also happened in the longest TV Series: The Walking Dead. When Rick Grimes and his son died or no longer on the screen... people tend to move away watching the end of such epic TV series.

The making or the film production of the Vikings was almost true to life story, historical in its proportion, the characters were almost real-life as they acted upon with true emotions, rage, the madness, the fierce, the courage and bravery. They all are great actors and actresses. It was a television series but it is magnanimous movie-like epic and saga of a Viking's family and their conquest to live and survive into the wilds, into different seasons and weather. The war is fought fiercely that if they wont fight to win they all end up dead. There is no other rule or law than to survive to win to live.

We are all in this kind of health scare that in order TO LIVE you must be cautious, learn to SURVIVE. Trust your instinct. Nobody knows yourself but you.

Arm yourself with all the knowledge you learned from schools, from textbooks, medical books and anything you learn from the internet (only reliable sources only through the internet).

 It was very cold yesterday at 5-6  Celsius only and the weather outside was unpleasant. Wish it sunny today no matter what. 

Halloween is over and all the pumpkins were smashed and thrown away. How are we looking through the days and the future is watching how mother nature unfolds and unravel itself naturally or watch news everyday? I know so boring and lame. 

Looking at the calendar on how many days to Christmas... OMG! Only 40 days to Christmas!!!!

I wonder if Santa Claus is thinking about me, ha ha ha! I hope I am in the list for being nice. I don't really care who are in the naughty list.

I don't know yet if husband will buy a Douglas fir tree for Christmas this year, we usually have one every year after year as in "traditionally" but real trees are getting more expensive. I was thinking of getting a dry twig in the forest with plenty of branches and then just spray white paint on it. Hey being frugal! I remember way back in Philippines we usually buy new broom made from coconut palm leaves and decorate it with cotton and adorn it with Christmas decor. The cotton symbolizes the snow. Sometime twigs or branch from our guava tree, sometimes from the acacia tree. Acacia trees were all over Fort Bonifacio way back the early years during the American Occupation in Fort Mackinley in 1900, before World War II until the 90's. Then when it was developed into BGC Bonifacio Global City it was totally a different place now.

In the Philippines, the most important thing during the Holidays are the whole family get together like a reunion sort of including our neighbors close to our family then have a lavish array of foods on the table like having roast lechon (whole pig roast with crunchy skin skewered in a bamboo pole or just the head with apple on its mouth), viands: menudo, beef caldereta, adobo, pancit of course, pancit palabok, spaghetti, macaroni chicken salad, fried chicken, lumpia, egg rolls. For dessert: ube haleya, fruit salad with macapuno, kaong and young coconut meat,nata de coco. Steamed rice for all the delicious viands. All these foods are the normal feast in my family way back from the 60's to the 90's. I don't know if my parents had changed the traditional menu when I left Philippines.

There is no other place in the world where Christmas is celebrated overtly extensive and lavishly magnanimous than in Philippines. The devout Catholics would wake up very early morning for two weeks in December until Christmas to attend the 4 am mass. The mass is only one hour long depends on how long the communion rite or how many parishioners would take and receive the Holy Wafer (Ostia). It was like mandatory for us during our childhood. I have to stay wide awake inside the Church and listen to the Parish priest sermon. The Church in Guadalupe was always jam-packed SRO, all seats fully occupied and there were parishioners who will stand outside of the Church just to hear Father San Diego's sermon. On the way home, we stopped by where vendors cook "puto bungbong" and bought at least one for any one (for me or my brothers) who likes it for breakfast instead of  having "hot pandesal with dairy cream." On Christmas Day, we have to give gifts to our parents with something special it doesn't need to be expensive. Their gifts for us as always? Beautiful clothes. Then we have to visit our Ninong and Ninangs (Godparents). Then more eating and dancing and drinking  for elders. For those with talent for singing, karaoke seems to be the favourite venting out for all the brouhaha and drama that happened to them while me, my sister, nieces and friendly neighbors danced to disco song under the glittering and flash of strobe lights and blue light from the ceiling. As I remember the last disco song we danced was Vanilla Ice's ICE, ICE BABY.

Yeah, those were the days.

JUST ME!

 TGIF. Yes, it is THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!!  My good friends will be happier today because it's Friday and we will have two days off.

Subject for today: Majority of the blogwriters posting their latest photos from their brand new iPhones. Great! I don't have iPhone, cellphone just laptop computer and cameras. My husband took a photo of me from his new cellphone, maybe have to post it here.

Opsi, can't find it from my photo file. It's okay. The photo from his cellphone was too bright and me in it "too white."  I cannot be too White because I am not a Caucasian. Although must say, my Mother is a Filipina mestiza but my Father's too Brown. He is not actually "too Brown" because I think Spanish & Chinese runs in his blood. 

If you'll see my daughter, she is "more White" because of the color of her skin and hazel eyes. Her father, my husband is a mixed race of Canadian, British, German, Norwegian born in Canada. His family and clan had been here in Canada since 1850. How to prove it? Through Genealogy & Census.

Year 2023. I can make my hair looked short in this picture using my big hair clip and hair pins. Yes, my nose is small. I am not pinocchio. LOL. I can make that sharp nose but I am not into fixing faces to look pretty.

Taking picture from the mirror. I have an image through the mirror, why not eh? LOL. This is from my year 2016 photo file when my Canon still in function perfectly for my photography. As you know I was an avid photographer before I become obsessed with drawings and paintings.

I am not looking at you, year 2014. Feeling like I'm a nostalgia of "Maria Clara." Ha ha ha! Darn! Slap my face please!! What should I dance? Fandango or subli?

TIME passes by us so quickly and so swiftly like in a speed of light. 

Believe your webcam photos because you can see the motion and your movements in it too. It has more silver backing just like mirror. Now if you cannot believe what you see, time to wear eyeglasses and have a consultation with an eye doctor! lol

I know some people looked younger than their age. Thank God for that. Now, stop being mean and have some iron maybe you don't have much blood.

WHATEVER!

 Right now, would like to tackle about politics but not today. The weather is quite calm this morning as in no rain, no foggy atmosphere, dry outside. Then after 11 am the low precipitation and drizzles started causing unhappy moments. I have to go out and I don't know if I'm dressed warm enough. First of all I really have to wear sweater which is mandatory at certain low temp of 9 degrees Celsius. 

My sister and her family went for holiday in Cancun before December so that their grand kids could play with the dolphins in a pool. That's nice. Good for them able to go where they like to go every year. I know them as family that loves travel and leisure. Work hard and spend traveling to different countries. 

Husband traveled to many countries too when he was a bachelor. He traveled to Malaysia, Borneo, China, Philippines, Hawaii, California. He actually flew to California as a newly grad. pilot in 1978 for small plane Grumman Tiger (single engine with 4 seats). He likes flying, just like his uncle Jack who was a veteran in flying small planes during the 60's. He was also an avid fisherman, boater and hunter.

I think when you are over 80 being outdoorsy is a thing of the past. And me... why would I like to get out of my comfort zone? People like getting out to escape the cold weather. I love cold weather. I don't like the heat of the sun, maybe sunny weather with cooler breeze that's perfect but too much sunshine is ...don't like the sweat and smell of it. If Echo sunbathe outside and smells have to carry her to the bath tub and scrub her body with Pert shampoo. lol.  Have you been in aerobics class or zumba? Some people sweat like hippos  and there's always those foul smell that lingers. Yuck! They probably don't smell themselves. Don't hate me. You guys should use Secret deodorant and you'll thank me after.

We could only play with lovable puppies Raven & Echo, no dolphins for us.  Their master bought boxes of new toys, foods and clothes. I don't need to sew clothes because they have more than enough.

 

Echo likes velvety checkered tops while Raven always have 100% cotton shirts with logo BOSS & FBI and funny motto. Motto such as:

 

" If all else fails, hug the dog!"  Another one? "I only hunt with the big dogs."

Hubby and I cleaned the ceiling yesterday. It turned out those parts of the ceiling (edges and corners) don't have enough insulation. Uhm, how that happened? That's why at Fall & Winter heating is much needed and heating with electricity and gas sometimes most applicable. Sometimes, heating thr. electric baseboards are not enough. That's one thing that Canadians always looking forward paying more during Autumn and Winter seasons. 

Rose noticed there are more houses decorated with Christmas lights in the city where I live. That's true. We have a neighbor who adorned their house with similar attraction from a circus that include  ferris wheel. Lavishly Christmas festive adoration. Nothing's wrong with that. If you can overtly decorate for the Halloween why you cannot do it in the name of Christianity... in the name of baby JESUS. 

REMEBRANCE DAY -VETERANS DAY

REMEMBRANCE DAY...

Veterans Day. 

My Father was an ARMY VETERAN. He was actually a MEDIC for RED CROSS when he went on duty in Vietnam. He didn't fought in the war but he was able to help the wounded soldiers and injured civilians in the crossfires. His expertise was in the medical aid and evacuation of vulnerable people stranded at war. He worked in the Army General Hospital when the war in Vietnam was over, he received medals of honor and promoted as Chief Clerk because of his expertise in telecommunications and other technical aspects and because of his specialized skills that sometimes at the Hospital he was the stay-in CO if the CO is off for work. Actually the CO or Commanding Officer was the Surgeon General in that period of time. Army Station Hospital is a military hospital and all the doctors and nurses are military with ranks from   Lieutenant to Major, Captain to General. 

Then my brother, I considered him as "Veteran" too. He was trained in the Philippines and in the United States of America. Just like my father, my brother is highly skilled. I don't need to elaborate of his skills and what is all about.  WE THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD should always advocate for PEACE. No one should be taken as pawn or be the sacrifice so that others would live because that's unfair! You have a choice. Each one of us has a choice.

If a politician advocate for sacrifices, he should have him accounted for it. Let him be the example.Ask him what is his sacrifices? Otherwise, it is unfair right?  Think about it.

THE UNITED NATIONS should revive the PEACE KEEPING COMMITTEE to make sure that war should not be the last end of a deal. That before war could ever happened, prevent it right away. Prevention is a pound of cure.

Autumn-Winter Season

Good Morning, it's Monday again! Only 10 C outside, 22 inside the house. The weather forecast says, gonna be just 12 C to 10 C in the afternoon. Okay, that's fun though at least no snow yet. With the snow falling in Ontario & Quebec had those drivers buying snow tires for their vehicles. Do you have snow tires for your cars and trucks? You should have because that's a requirement and it is mandatory for your own safety and safety of your passengers. Thank you!

How fun would be to have some snow on the ground. 

Children would have so much fun of course! No doubt about it.

They will frolic on the snow, play toboganning downhill or at the slopes of the mountain. They will ice skate on frozen lake, frozen pool or ponds.

Children will push and pull their ice cart or sled. Children and adults will throw snow balls at each other.

They will rolls chunk of snow rolled them into big balls and create snowmen and adorn them with carrots for noses. They will decorate each snow man with their scarf and mittens. Almost like the usual everyday tradition. I had done that year after year until I stopped and let kids do what they want with the snow.

Others would probably enjoy dancing on the snow like a prima ballerina. Who knows? Do what you want to do at Fall & Winter. it's up to you on how you enjoy every Seasons in Canada.

If you are still stranded in Autumn or advance to Winter... it is up to your mind set.
