I missed our rented house somewhere in Vermont. Not only because my husband was considered to be the building contractor for that house but because the house is equipped with centralized heating and centralized air conditioning unit. It was a fairly new house, with big backyard and 4 bedrooms plus 2 1/2 bathrooms. There's enough room to breathe. The new appliances provided by us not by the landlord and the vent exhaust fan is properly installed and there's a real vent that sucks the steam out of the house. For healthy living every house should have a safe kitchen vent. With all the convenience of modern housing and its comfort our hydro bill and gas bill is much cheaper compared to this house we are currently living in. New Modern appliances also have energy power consumption that are economizer/stabilizer to modern living.
Because there's enough space to breathe, so many people would like that house. The house was sold higher than what its previous original price. The new owner and her family plus her two big dogs are probably having a grand lavish lifestyle living in that area. I don't know if they are Americans or what but maybe they are. One of them look like the person I saw in the "Boston marathon news." Just a "look-alike" that person can't be the person in the news. Impossible right? Why they will move here in Canada?
And the woman? She can't be Abby. She's too fat and too short to be Abby. So, maybe my vision is impaired. Darn! I have to wear eyeglasses. I don't know why the realtor with them was nervous and trembling that time. Was she forced to do something out of the ordinary? Something was fishy! It was always fishy with these people and the rest of the good realtors are being used inconveniently for some kind of entrapment.
UPDATE: After the two women measured the vent and the fridge and after they left the house, hours later the missing crystal vase appeared suddenly. OMG! What a great miracle!
I hope all what's missing and what had been stolen will appear suddenly just like that. No question asked.
Now, we are currently staying in a subdivision. The houses are probably built 10 years ago, cute, with 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms. Once again the open concept of kitchen and living room in just one room is crucial to how you will breathe everyday if you happened to be a cook and cooking everyday is your daily chore at home. It wont be that bad if the weather is hot. At winter time when the house should be closed and sealed and you cook everyday that's where the problem is. What my solution is, I turned off the heater and open the window at the kitchen so that the fumes and steam has a passage out. The air vent/ exhaust fan wont help solve the problem. Other option to reconsider: Eat sandwich instead. Be a vegetarian? Eat outside or eat at the restaurant. Wow! Good solution? I wonder what the solution used by the former tenants in this house? They probably eat sushi everyday.
Carbon monoxide is the cause of death in many homes in Canada. Recently carbon monoxide killed people in another province of Canada, it was on TV News. Can't smell carbon monoxide. Carbon dioxide? Can you smell carbon? Please don't poison our favorite coffee. Don't poison our water!
My sense of smell finally has return and so as my household chores.
If you are a home buyer, be prepared to buy a NEW HOUSE. Old house, old houses have too many problems. Too many imperfections. Ah, nothing's perfect! Maybe your perfect is not my kind of perfect.
For the rest of us who can't afford a house with price tag of $1,000,000 dollar house and some of us who can't afford a house just like the PM of Canada who can't afford the house at 24 Sussex Drive... all what we can hope for is DREAM.

You probably contribute more on spreading the wrong message. I think we have to study DNA and RNA and how many normal chromosomes you have.

Total Recall
I woke up early even if I haven't recuperated much yet. That stubborn flu is the culprit. It started January 5, 2017 with a headache, then the next day I started coughing. No fever! It's probably not flu, maybe it was just colds and cough. I started taking medication. Then next day my voice became raspy, my voice has changed, my chest was sore from excessive cough. The worse thing was when my sense of smell and sense of taste were gone. I can't smell anything and I can't taste anything whether the food is salty or sweet. Everything is bland.
My daughter had flu also but not as bad as my husband's or my kind of flu. She had it only for 3 days. She is tough and she's strong. Well, she's younger than me that's why.
Or maybe because at the time that I first thought I was feeling better then I started doing housework. I should have rested for days and wait until everything's okay. But you know me I don't like being idle.
B.C. is not the place to be idle with. No lazy people here in Canada. And we can't allow lazy people to come here in Canada. Everyone must work and if you are unemployed you must volunteer. That's the policy here in Canada. Most of the jobs in Canada are done by volunteers! It's the problem here in Canada. UNEMPLOYMENT is one of the number one problem here in Canada. Many young adults and adults are committing suicide because of depression caused by unemployment. HOMELESSNESS is also a factor that is becoming a huge evil problem in Canada. There are too many homeless people in Canada. Not too many Canadians can afford decent houses in Canada. Adding to the many homeless people are those people who suddenly became homeless after the wildfire in Fort McMurray. The problem there is not fully solved yet. The Military base was already given to the refugees and the military? What happened to the Military? Where are they living and or working? Where's the military base now? And you wonder why too many soldiers are affected with PTSD. Refugees first? Refugees first before Canadian soldiers!!!!?????? That's wrong! It's Canadian people first before refugees. What do you think Mr. Trudeau? Hah! Now people, you probably thinking of PM Harper.
Who can afford houses here in Canada? Maybe you can afford a house that is over 50-100 year old houses. In Vancouver city, old century houses are worth millions of dollars!!!! Can you afford million dollar house even it's ruggedly whack and rotten infested with rats? Too much! Hard to believe right? But that's story news. News network brought that news over and over again. If the politicians can afford such rotten house worth millions of dollars the ordinary people cannot. They cannot afford their medical bills and they wont be able to afford asbestos-rotten- house with free radon and those houses are worth million dollars? How bizarre!

True Story? You Want True Story Right?
My husband arrived home from doing inspection at one of the houses owned by a friend and after his work is done at the apartments and townhouses, with another good news that he was asked to manage another apartment. Wow! Is that great? I think that's too much! It's too much and the pay is not that great!!
Acquisition of extra job can also be an acquisition of problems. I don't know what whether my husband would rather live in another house or what so that he wont stay in our own home anymore. He doesn't like having a vacation? Working everyday without day-off without holiday and vacation? What the hell!
You know that's good if not great if you are paid properly. If my husband will always come home every payday and tell me he doesn't have money and he is not paid then what the hell you have to work? Where he put his money? Is he paid or he is being bullied and exploited? Extortion? And people asked why we never buy a house? The husband works so many hours and not paid properly for his work that's why. Then we have to help another family. We helped them already for the past 10 years. My husband invested lots of money for the business that suppose to buy us a house but better help another family first. Let them live comfortably first! It's always another family first! It's their convenience first before us. That's my husband's priority!!!!!! Another family first to live comfortably and buy their house first. They have to settle in Canada as comfortably and conveniently first before his own family. Do you think my husband is Jesus Christ? I'm not Mary Magdalene! Oh you think that's funny?
The amount of work being put to such apartment or house-sitting whatever that is and the amount of wages? It's crazy! I don't know what it is but I am very suspicious that at his age I think he is being exploited and extortion is something that could be the big problem. Old people are being exploited and extortion happened in this part of the world.
I wish there are people who are good kindhearted people and investigate whether my husband is being extorted by gangsters. There are gangsters and bullies in this area. Hard to believe that Canada has too many gangsters.
What other nationalities are doing? What the Filipino community are doing? Hiding themselves and not helping. We were victims of ABG (Akyat Bahay Gang) for so many years and the Filipino community never help nor some people would rather be deaf, blind and mindless. They are afraid too. That's what it is... too many cowards and they don't wanna be involved.
I was an eyewitness when somebody threatened my husband in our own home. It was a "threat" not that I can brush it off. My husband knew that person. He acted like a good samaritan but deep inside that man is somewhat "notorious." He had that ability to camouflage his intention and purpose acting like as if he is a friend. A dangerous friend. That man scares the hell out of me. If you watched Walking Dead series, that man seems charming, deadly charming like Neegan.

Kelly The Cat
I was standing by the window, on the second floor of our house watching the cat walking at the forest. I opened the window to breathe fresh air and I noticed the cat stopped walking. This is not the same cat that I used to tell you, this is a different cat (literally a cat, an animal with white fur and few black hairy fur) that cat sat on the cold grassy ground for such a long time while I was by the window watching it. Strange little cat. Don't you think the cat should proceed walking instead but the cat was there waiting for me to close the window maybe or so that the cat wont see me.
Not too many outdoor cat here in Canada. Most of the cats here are indoor and so many of them are neutered so that they wont breed or wont have children (kittens). It's the same thing with dogs. So many of these dogs no matter how beautiful, cute, pretty good looking they have to be neutered. Their population is controlled. They should neuter ugly cats and ugly dogs! For God sake!

I Cooked Food For My Family
Think that I am not lazy and I have to cook food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Duty and responsibility first to my FAMILY.
I have to tell you the cake is so delicious. The first batch of cake's gone in just 30 minutes. I think when the cake is still hot fresh from the oven that's the time when you have to eat it right away.
You probably go to restaurant and order the same kind of menu every time you have the chance.

I'm always been myself for the past 54 years. I may forget something or somebody else but I never ever forget my name, my family and the important people who surround me in making my life beautiful, interesting and colorful.
It's Thursday now, January 26, 2017. Is there something new as of this time? I usually asked my husband if there's something new because he gets out of the house everyday. He works. There are phone calls sometime asking where he is. There's that somebody always asking where he is, if he is working, blah, blah, I think when some people got nothing to do they usually asked where that person and what is he doing. I should ask that person why you keep looking for my husband? Lonely? He should call his girlfriend or he should call his family whatever. It's getting annoying, you know. While I asked, "what's new?" Anything new?
What else is new?
I had a friend who was like that. She was single for so many years and she kept looking for me almost everyday for a short conversation sometimes long conversation over the phone. We used to get out too. I was there for her because being alone in Canada is kind of lonely. I'm a good friend you know. I have a family but I have time for my friends. Then when she found a boyfriend then it was the end of our friendship. She seldom call nor visit us. Then later up to this point in time she never call, she keeps herself hidden away from the public. I first thought she had a baby to keep her busy. But no baby because the man or boyfriend wont be able to give her a baby. Her life is her boyfriend, her job and home. No friends anymore. Weird? It was very strange. Or her boyfriend is very strange.
There was this person who kept looking, asking where my husband. He was not an employer of my husband. Actually he was once the owner of the house we were renting. We were good tenants to his duplex. What he was asking is for my husband to do work on his many rented houses and apartments. At first he paid my husband for that abrupt work of helping him with his work while he was away. He can't say no because we were his tenants. We paid this house-owner religiously actually direct deposit to the bank. So why that being is stingy? What happened next is he was always asking for my husband to repair, renovate, do some carpentry works to some of his rented duplexes and apartment and he was not paying. That kind of situation that you think wont happen in Canada but it happened. Darn! He hasn't pay us yet with more than $2,000 he owed us. I emailed him about what he owed but no reply whatsoever. He received the invoices but up to now he hasn't pay yet. Many years had passed no payment yet. It's hard to believe that a rich man like that person whose got lots of money cannot pay. WORK is paid legally. You worked , you must earn wages and that's part of the work ethics.
Mga utang na hindi mabayaran habang buhay na walang kapatawaran.
Those are the many memories hard to forget. What somebody owed us is something I wont ever forget.

Tom Hanks is as usual the Robert Langdon who woke up in the hospital being taken care of by Felicity Jones (Dr. Sienna Brooks). He had a concussion of some kind, can't remember what really happened to him and why he ended up in the hospital then suddenly, a female cop arrived and started firing and Robert Langdon and Dr. brooks have to escape. It's once again the "chase." I don't like to tell you the whole story because you should watch it and find out for yourself whether the actors and actresses should win awards. Whether the virus is a myth or look no further just look up the sky and look down on the grounds and the many birdshit or bird poop from those million of pigeons. Darn bird flu! You can get sick from such flu you know.

Sa Tutuo Lang

Are you a 100% American who can communicate perfectly fluently in ENGLISH? No one is perfect! No one can perfectly assumed that their grammar is perfect. After all vocabulary words had been compiled and mixed. I think had that already explained so many times in so many blogs I owned.

For those who are suffering with mental illness? It starts with depression. What are the many causes of depression: Death in the family, unemployment, melancholia, in their own world, bad weather, sickness incurable ailment, nobody to talk to, no friends, loneliness (however there are humans who would rather be alone, into their own world) unable to reach goals due to many barriers, racism, bullies and bullying, secrets that they can no longer keep, PTSD, Conscience bothering them, lying is such an awful, awful word that some of them can't lie anymore and it starting to get into their heads, living a double-life (merong secret ng secret virgin daw ang dami palang anak) (meron namang fisherman daw may asawa sa North, may asawa sa South, East and West) Kunyari fisherman, insomnia-sleepless nights due to conscience bothering them, stressful jobs, too much peer pressure, work that doesn't pay much, work that don't give any health benefit (no medical and dental benefit), giving importance to nonsense.
Depression is when the other person is at work and you don't have work. NOWadays, you have WORK but you have stressful and pressurized work (no benefits, work that demotes the person who had managerial qualities demoted by a non-experienced manager who is possessed with narcissistic superiority complex.
But there's nothing worse than being bullied by bullies pretending to be "good people" but actually stealing whatever that belongs to that person. How we can STOP BULLIES? How we can stop the liars?

Truth is my Elementary teacher and classmates used to teased me for being a look-alike of Marlen Dauden (the movie actress). OMG! I wish. Maybe the reason why I always carry a pair of scissors. (( I will cut my hair once again. Every month, 2 or 3 inches long of my hair should be cut or else...)) Ang bilis nya humaba. Kakainis.
For those who are suffering with mental illness? It starts with depression. What are the many causes of depression: Death in the family, unemployment, melancholia, in their own world, bad weather, sickness incurable ailment, nobody to talk to, no friends, loneliness (however there are humans who would rather be alone, into their own world) unable to reach goals due to many barriers, racism, bullies and bullying, secrets that they can no longer keep, PTSD, Conscience bothering them, lying is such an awful, awful word that some of them can't lie anymore and it starting to get into their heads, living a double-life (merong secret ng secret virgin daw ang dami palang anak) (meron namang fisherman daw may asawa sa North, may asawa sa South, East and West) Kunyari fisherman, insomnia-sleepless nights due to conscience bothering them, stressful jobs, too much peer pressure, work that doesn't pay much, work that don't give any health benefit (no medical and dental benefit), giving importance to nonsense.
Depression is when the other person is at work and you don't have work. NOWadays, you have WORK but you have stressful and pressurized work (no benefits, work that demotes the person who had managerial qualities demoted by a non-experienced manager who is possessed with narcissistic superiority complex.
But there's nothing worse than being bullied by bullies pretending to be "good people" but actually stealing whatever that belongs to that person. How we can STOP BULLIES? How we can stop the liars?

I'm planning of a two day hiatus or day off but my hands want to type words, sentences, paragraphs up to no end.
I don't like the senior blogger in another website who particularly has hatred for elephants. Why he hate elephants so much? Is he a donkey? Ha ha! Or a donkey kong? Whoever he/she is can't tell whether he is a man or a woman because that blog-writer is "anonymous." Hiding! So scared about other blog-writers and probably scared also about what kind of human being he/she would become. That being is probably having problem too with gender.
I am not a bully. I tend not to bully anyone but his hatred for the Trumps and the elephant is somewhat "sick." That senior blogger could be very sick that's why. Democrats should be happy after 8 years don't you think they had the chance to do what they need to do for the government? Eight years such very long year term for them.
I like elephants. I like the Republicans because they are the political Party that make everything happen. They have the support of the military and the whole Armed Forces. They have the strength and robust machinery to keep the mill going.
Time to move on and let other side do their job. Give the elephants what they deserve. They are workaholic and they are multi-taskers. They are brilliant and intelligent and there's nothing wrong with that.
If your done being donkey please do something worthy.

Gourmet Food. Gourmet Service
I might as well post FOOD in this blog because certainly food is very essential to living.
This is the kind of meal I cooked for myself for dinner. I had sauteed prawns with zucchini, tomatoes, onions, garlic flavoured with oyster sauce. salt, soya and pepper, plus steamed corn kernels and steamed rice. My husband and children had malaysian chicken wings, corn and rice. Thank goodness my husband cooked his own meal. Yey!!!!!!
What do you think of the service? Feels like in a gourmet restaurant?
The other night, we had beef steak, buttered garlicky pasta noodles and choice of veggies.
For those who love chicken then baked/grilled chicken is what's best for dinner.
Tonight's dinner is what I'm still thinking of right now. I wish could just order pizza or hamburger from Wendy's or A&W's but with our grocery bill's worth $500+ and the free canisters think that I must cook again and again...

Whichever
I don't mind being the cook at home. Problem is every time the steam comes out and sucked in through the noisy vent/exhaust fan without filter then headaches come and go. My cough never goes way anymore. Noise pollution and air pollution is always present. Supposedly, cooking is one of my best chore or productive task at home. Not this time.
It's not the food that can cause us sick but the steam and smoke caused by cooking and in front of the stove while you cook without proper outlet.
How many people have lung and stomach cancer? How many cooks and chefs died because their work is being at the front of the stove cooking for 8 hours to 12 hours?
Maybe it's better to use mask or thick apron while we cook. Or wear the "astronaut's suit."
Or take Mrs. Clinton's advise: "If you can't stand the heat get out from the kitchen."

When only drawings and old, old painting and manuscripts remained during the Abraham Lincoln era and when there was no other means of restoring the events, memories and photographs during their time then in our generation when computers, television, radio communication, digital photography and all the lavish modern gadgets, machines and printers are available and can store anything...then anything goes. Anything, everything can happen and everything can be recorded.
It's great to be born under this cover of modernization.
WE are a civilized kind of people. WE believe that we are all civilized!
So what's the protest about?
Have you seen the former First Lady Hillary Clinton attending the inauguration and the luncheon? Let bygones be bygones. She was the first one who congratulated the Pres. Trump when he won the Election in 2016. So what's the fuzz with the rest of the people who are still protesting? I think Pres. Trump and Mrs. Clinton are in the same "family tree" and they know how they can help one another.
So people get over with it.

Today, January 20, 2017 Friday is the inauguration of the U.S. President DONALD J. TRUMP. Wish him well that he will be able to fulfill and honor his duty, obligation and responsibility to the Constitution, to the American people and to the country of the United States of America.
He won the Presidential Election of 2016. It's "vox populi, vox dei"
The Americans should honor the winner and whom they elected to govern them for four years and maybe another 4 years.
It's time to reconcile and those who are opposed to the result of the 2016 Election should finally come to senses and hope for the best.
In UNITY there is strength!

Bar Stools

I always like bar stools or counter stools well, especially if there is a bar/counter in the house. When we first looked at this house (we are living for almost 2 months and 1/2) there were two stools for the island counter. Then when we moved in to this house, the two counter stools were gone. The former tenants probably brought them out then into their own newfound house. What they had is the style#3 tufted adjustable bar stools. Darn! they should have leave those stools instead. ha ha ha! You know the stools are expensive. But know what? I would rather have #2, Adjustable bar stool with armrests. Less expensive. Actually the price tag is still expensive even if its already discounted. They could lower the price to at least $30/chair.
I'll wait for that price to go down to $30 or $35 is the highest price I will pay for such bar stool. Am I stingy? Maybe I am, because after tax has been added to such item then you'll know that you didn't really achieve the discount. 12% tax is too much to bear! With workers earning minimum wage? Everything seems pricey.
Why not the Shinto stool? It's a Japanese bar stool and it's made of wood. That's hard on my butt. I don't like hardwood for a bar stool. Very inconvenient.
Anyway, I will keep on looking for bar stools in another store. Who knows, maybe Walmart will have the bar stools I want.

Believe It Or Not
I don't know, do I really have to blog? It seems to me that I am obligated to blog everyday. Supposedly blogging is for the self-fulfilling prophecy and self-fulfilling fun to do what is necessary to entertain one's self. It really doesn't mean as a blog-writer I have the obligation to make some people happy. That's not the purpose and aim of blogging.
To each of her own blog and format and aim in life.
Can you blame me?
So why some blog-writers are so nice and keep giving giveaways? Is that the correct word? Let say prizes or rewards for reading their blogs. Just like those television hosts who are very generous of gift-giving. Oh well, we know that the endorsers of those free gifts are the advertisers it's just that the hosts are there to give the prizes and gifts through them. Promo.
In the Philippines it's the same way, television hosts do the same thing of giving gifts and door prizes. Giving promo samples as ways to endorse products. You wont know the effectiveness of such product without somebody trying them first and you are chosen to use those product samples. Cheaper that way. Economically cheaper! Word of mouth promotion is cheaper than having to promote the products through Superbowl or any other venues. Promote your product through the Superbowl? Maybe just a glimpse of 5-10 seconds is costly, that a one minute advertisement is worth $5 MILLION DOLLARS or more and it will be seen through the whole world the ad could be worth for the company to pay $10-$50 MILLION DOLLARS! Shocking!? Superbowl makes lots of money from endorsements of product advertisements alone. I could be wrong but celebrity endorsers made millions of dollars from endorsing some products you see on TV.
When it comes to medicine, so many clinical trials are made. Well, of course they tried those medicines (drugs) to patients who are sick, not people without the ailment. Then scientific breakthroughs happened instantly when the product that was used was proven effective and safe. That's the best, successful honest to goodness way of endorsement.
In my own opinion, the endorser of products should and must use the product to make it believable. If its a phony advertisement? I don't think you can fool the people. We are in a generation of "prove it."

That's Entertainment
I would rather ask for the sun to shine today but the rain has come and maybe will help melt the snow on the ground. I can see my husband being happy once the snow melts.
It's the 16th of January and supposedly the weather will soon improve. I hope so...
I think my blog THE CONSCIOUS MIND is already full (meaning no more space to write) and it's much better for me to blog here instead.
Although this part of the blog can be very annoying, you know.
I could only think that since the day I blog, I lose some of my friends. Whether they are insecure or what (are you?) I don't know the reason why. Maybe I was very opinionated or they don't like me blogging. Maybe because blogging is somewhat like that of "reporters" with the long noses like elephants and they need some privacy. Elephants in a room is something some group of people would like to avoid. Nosy and curious! Or the truth to that word is "knowledgeable." We know better! We are better than donkeys!!
Yeah we'll slap your face with our long noses.
I seldom talk about my friends in my blog. As much as possible I would like to blog about what I seen on TV (re: movies, tv shows, politicians, movie stars) about showbiz and blog-writers who I think are people whom I can relate too because they also blog.
Let me blog because I love to annoy people. It's a form of entertainment that surely I enjoy and hope you are also entertained.
Remember: Happiness is contagious.

Why pay if its FREE?
Then you inquire and you are sent to this direction "no reply.com"
Is the definition of FREE different from your own definition?
It's the same query over FREEDOM.
If you are given the medal of freedom does it mean you are not free and you don't have freedom?
You were awarded with the medal of freedom because finally you are out of jail?
That being temporary doesn't mean you are permanent.
When you are a permanent resident doesn't mean that you are a temporary resident.
That hotdog is not made from dogs but from all variety of meat grounded to produce sausage.
You wished it's a wiener.

Optimism is my option today. I tried not to be involved in negativity baka maging negra ako. Ha ha ha! J/K. I mean, better do something worthy.
At least I was able to expose something that bothers me. I already told my husband about it and he never believe me at first. Then second time he told me that he doesn't know what to do. Ngek! He doesn't know anything about computers.
I want a new computer! Maybe have a new blog somewhere else where hackers can't get through. Or blog anonymously. Point is the main computer terminal knows me already. The robots knew me!
The Google knew me by the way I blog and because Blogger is Google and I was at Blogger since year 2000. Would you believe that?
I think the operating system is already named after my name.
It's impossible to escape from Google.
So better annoy them and the robots in the operating system.

Anger management?
Well, well, year 2016 has its end. It's year 2017 this year not year 1917 so the hell with the Syrian war. Read your old encyclopedia and find out that you are misinformed.
I'm not racist! I am not against the Syrians, probably so many of them are Jews or from the Jewish community. I am against the war. Besides, no one should take away Syrian citizens from their own land. Syrians belong to Syria. Anybody who took their lands away must have the same kind of purpose to eliminate or wipe out their ethnic identity. Those evil people had done so many atrocities of deleting the ethnic identities of the Arameians and the Aramaic, Hebrew language; the same thing that the Etruscans lost their ethnic identity and value as human beings.

Are you watching the Rose Bowl Parade in California? All float festival vehicles must be decorated with fresh flowers of mostly roses. Wow that's beautiful and so wonderful. Great! How they can do that using mostly roses for decorating? They probably have gardens upon gardens of roses or maybe have those rose petals collected before the fest. and stored them in cooler and some are dried beneath those thick books of yellow pages. Whatever their secrets to do their stuff that's their secret just watch their festival parade and admire their creativity.
Still is Winter Break. All BC students will return to school tomorrow.
It was -4 degrees C. last night and then now is colder with -7 degrees C. , morning of January 2, 2017 (Monday) in CR BC. No snowstorm. Thank God.
