Mystery & Suspense

 Because the economy is like a horror movie with its continued sequels or never ending story we must watch scary movies. lol

DEADPOOL WOLVERINE. Wow! That's wow!! This movie is too gory and violent. Do you think it's funny? There are several scenes that are funny, but goofy. Ha ha! Well, you must enjoy the music because it is timing with the scenes anyway. Wilson Wade Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds)  & Logan Wolverine (Hugh) tried to save the world from evil Nova (Emma Corrin). In this movie Deadpool has too many impersonators and so is Wolverine. Bonus: Baby Deadpool & Dogpool. Dogpool- Peggy is surely a scene stealer.

BIG LIES IN A SMALL TOWN. Missing girls in a small town. Mysterious abduction inside the convenience store's washroom and kidnapping after a car accident. You wont guess who the suspect in this movie. I mean, looks like everyone in that small town are suspects. Conspiracy.

BURNT OFFERING. Who would like to live in a haunted mansion? What mystery does a beautiful mansion has for its new tenants? Probably, you wont recognized Bette Davis in this movie.

FROM is a new TV Series. Mystery, suspense, a thriller. Enigmatic.

FREAKY. It's totally different from Freaky Friday. Story of a young female pretty teenager whose body got "swapped" through a magic ritual with a horrible serial killer. Bloody, gory and of course scary... although there are several funny scenes to laugh about.

Of course we did not forget Eddie Redmayne's versatility and skills in her portrayal as a professional assassin in THE DAY OF THE JACKAL. Showcase's channel 6 pm every Thursday.

 

 

 

Think About It

 Now you probably know what TAXES such as PST & GST  Carbon tax and other taxes imposed by any country in the world. 

CANADIANS pay taxes in the form of PST (7%)  & GST (5%) = 12% added to every product you buy in Canada except for foods and certain baby products. 

Other Provinces in Canada don't have PST to pay because their province has the economic resources they have,  such as oil and gas which sustain the production and growth of their economy. Wealthy enough to be self-reliant actually.

If only British Columbia still has all the pulp mills, the sawmills and the mining in business, the forestry and fishery as it was enriched and resources in abundance, we wont have to pay PST as well but BC is in the process of "conservation and reservation." The conservation of natural resources is more important than anything else. Of all provinces in Canada, the hydro or water resources are more valuable than anything as it is represent as gold.

With all the taxes imposed by the Government: PST, GST, Carbon tax, Income tax, etc ....what every Canadian gets in return?

1. Tax rebate and refund after tax assessment if you overpaid.

2. Child Tax Benefits for Parents with children ages: Newborn to 18 years of age.

3. Climate Action Payment

4. Carbon Tax Payment

5. Disability Payment

Some of the payments are quarterly.

WHY Canada has all these income supplements for every family? 

Because after all the CHECK & BALANCE, the Government actually accumulated so much surplus from all the TAXES collected in behalf of all Canadians and residents of Canada. 

If they can provide "financial help" to other countries in millions to billions of dollars would it be better, an advantage and JUST FAIR & RIGHT for Canadians and Canadian residents to receive them instead?

Think about why Canada's Defence or Defense is not to be happy about and has managed to supply aid to countries at war. Canada needs new submarines, ships, planes, artillery and military investment but those financial means or aid are given away to countries at war. Weird right? EWAN.

If I'm the Defence (Defense) Minister that wont happen. lol. IF I AM. I am not a war freak though. WAR IS NOT A SOLUTION TO RENOVATE & REBUILD A COUNTRY.

THINK ABOUT IT. Now think about why Canadians are struggling and Economic Crisis is always the problem in Canada? 

THE ANSWER: The HIGH COST OF LIVING, staggering stratospheric high cost of housing, foods, gas, oil and other basic commodities keep coming up like a horror story without end. Even if there is wage increase, it cannot cope up with non-stop inflation. 

Every time there's wage increase, the prices of commodities keep increasing sometimes double its price which is absurd and too evil as in GREED is too much. 

Maybe if they can increase the wage and STOP companies and greedy corporations to increase the price of commodities/products for at least one year. If they wished to increase the price of products wait for another year. 

What's goin' on is price of commodities, products keep changing every week sometime the price doubles like what the hell is that? That's an assault on human intelligence & consumers' rights. ONLY IN CANADA!!

TARIFF is like tit for tat!

 I tried to post two blog composition today but somehow didn't get published. Don't know why. Maybe there's that congested traffic through the internet highway. lol

Well, I will try today. Simply the subject for today is about "TARIFFS."

TARIFFS - taxes imposed on imported products. 

What's the benefit of tariffs? Taxes benefit the country who imposed taxes. It is a disadvantage to countries who export their goods to another country or countries. That's what you call added burden to the shipping and handling of goods, it will slow down the transaction of course. 

Tariffs are excess taxes and those taxes could end up as "revenues." It would be a lot of help for that country who imposed taxes on imports. Also it has an edge to patronize local products. Buy your own made products. I know that's impossible right? People will keep on buying imported goods no matter what because of its "name and value." Besides, it has something to do with the supply and demand.

TARIFF IS GREAT FOR AMERICANS for they will benefit from tariffs. However it is not good for CANADA and other countries.

How to deal with it? Any country could do the same thing. Tariff for tariff. Tit for tat. Ten the CONSUMERS THE VICTIMS for they wont be able to afford such products with tariffs and other taxes imposed. DOUBLE TROUBLE.

CANADA doesn't need to worry about it.  

DEAL OR NO DEAL could be the long negotiation if ever on trade & commerce. 

Time Wasted.

Caveat Emptor = Buyer's Beware

Way back many years ago when one of the former President of the Philippines tried to imposed tariffs on foreign products. All imported goods have tariffs. You know that taxes are frowned about since 18th Century during the Spaniards years of dominance. There was valid reason for that. The Spaniards want the Filipinos to pay land tax on their hacienda or their homeland. lol. That was so strange right? That was one of the reasons of the great revolution and had ousted the Spaniards and Spanish rule (500 years) from Philippines through the help of Americans. That also the beginning of Universal Language in English. Until now, Filipinos don't pay taxes only if your income reached the bracket that you earned well and gained, or businesses that gained profit. But still depends on how many children you have. They pay VAT or Valued Added Tax on imported products or when they buy or dine in at foreign establishments fast-foods or franchise. More or less, Filipinos would rather haggle. Haggling is more fun in some retail outlets in Manila.

TV DAYS

 Thank God we have TV as our means of entertainment otherwise life will be boring for my family. We have our 55' TV good enough for a widescreen/flat screen at our living room and another 32' TV flat screen in our bedroom for late hours viewing.

The photo above is when our first widescreen TV 50' had malfunctioned in 2020 that we had decided to purchase a brand new TV. 

Of course we like watching TV shows, movies and news. That's how we keep in tune with the sign of times. I know some of you would rather use cellphones and computers as form of your entertainment venue or whatever that makes you happy. 

I preferred watching  movies, shows and news on TV. Sports? Maybe just a bit of it.  Focus and concentration is much better because it is widescreen and the sound good enough for listening.

Recently, I watched several new movie and oldies. All those movies are FREE from those channels such as : STARZ, HollywoodSuite, Sci-FiCTV, MovieChannel, AMC, etc.

Have you seen the latest movie of Harrison Ford? I think INDIANA JONES Dial of Destiny is one of those sequels that is so classic and different from HF 's other movies. Too many surprises esp. the ending. 

THE CALLING. Starring Susan Sarandon in his most challenging portrayal of a police officer, an alcoholic, binge on drinking and taking pain meds, not in focus with her job until a serial killer started doing series of  brutal heinous crimes. Victims with their mouth open as if uttering syllabic unknown to them until they thought possibility an ancient Latin version that they seek the help from a old priest who knows about the Latin language to decipher the mystery. That didn't stop there as the serial killer had a way of following a ceremonial mathematical configuration to end its slay as sacrifices and until somebody is resurrected.

The SHEIK. Story of a British woman who would like to take her journey to the desert but was kidnapped by the handsome, wealthy sheik. This is a love & hate relationship. In black & white and silent movie. 

THE PERFECT PLAN. It was a story of deceit, accomplices, don't really know who are the victims or just that the first 4 thieves woke up in a well guarded building and if they cannot find the right way to get out then they are doomed to die. It turned out they were there in that building with time limit and if they cannot solve how to get out and how they can open the secret vault then the bomb will explode. That was just the beginning. 

And a lot more movies. Of course there are TV SHOWS we usually watch such as: The Voice, Amazing Race, Big Brother, Survivor, The Masked Singer, etc.

TV SERIES: FBI, NCIS, CSI:NY, THE WALKING DEAD, THE DAY OF THE JACKAL.

TV NEWS: CBC, CTV, GLOBAL, CNN, BBC

We're not couch potatoes! We watch all the above shows, series when our houseworks over or when it's time to relax. 

For the retirees, they have all the time in the world for relaxation.

MANIFEST

 MANIFEST. According to the newscaster on TV, "Manifest" is the word of the year. Hey, it is not a new word from the Webster Dictionary. How it was chosen as word of the year? 

To show something clearly, through signs or actions: manifest something in something.The workers chose to manifest their dissatisfaction in a series of strikes. (Oxford's definition)

MANIFEST is the series of exerting effort to achieve things, action to get the expected result. That's my definition of manifest. It could be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Can manifest lead to ESP or clairvoyance? Sometimes, the gifted usually see things happen through their dreams. The more practice of such gift could lead to manifestation in the form of astral body projection, telekinesis or telekinetic power.

Let us dwell on simpler forms. Let's have those STRIKES.

Hotel workers in Ontario finally been heard through strikes and their demands are met by signing new contract and getting highest wages in Hotel Industry. 

What about the CUPW? What are their demands? They want new contract and of course fair and just wages for their hard work. However, its been 2 weeks and their voices not heard yet. 

What about those struggling Canadians who until now haven't receive their 2023-2024 tax refund and tax rebates? It's November now and the payment is late, too late already. What's keeping the tardiness of such process? Then the promise of another cheque $250? When? Do not promise something that you'll break.

What other benefits not coming for some families? Climate Action Payment + Carbon Tax Credits.

It will soon snow and those families are in dire need of financial help. 

Manifest. Some people have so much knots as if they are boats. Maybe they need long ropes. lol

LONG ROPES to swing, tug of war or long rope to hang about? 

Is there a manifestation of evil?

THE TRUTH IS...

 ONLY IN CANADA that HEALTH CARE & DENTAL CARE ARE FREE FOR CANADIANS & PERMANENT RESIDENTS.

There are several freebies such as FREE ELEMENTARY, HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION. FREE supply of lunch meals for SCHOOL CHILDREN and $10/day Day Care.

Think about this why those services are FREE. There are other countries in Europe that offered the same FREE SERVICES FROM THE GOVERNMENT (actually including FREE COLLEGE EDUCATION) its because the Government imposed so much taxes from the people. High production of goods and services and " lesser wages"  for their government officials. Hmm... would it be acceptable if those government officials accept wages that is just fair and right, not OVER THE ROOF wages? They don't have to live on million dollars home. ($9+ MILLION DOLLARS). UNLESS ONLY if they bring financial rewards for the country in billions of dollars in  revenues. It has to be merit for those politicians to bring in great revenues not deficit and debts.

Living in a well developed countries with high inflation and high cost of living can cause so much, severe pressure, tension, anxiety and environmental hazards that's why so many Canadians are sick.

The high price of foods and other commodities had led Canadians eating unhealthy foods and thus they made them sick and unhealthy. Being frugal or being thrifty is not a good thing.

Old People, Seniors & Veterans are living inconveniently due to fixed income and small pensions. The remaining amount for them to save just barely enough to pay for their monthly supply of heart pills for their medication.

You know that when you grow old the quality of your life is different. Old people are not immune to many illness and old age health woes such as high blood pressure, arthritis, diabetes, CKD, MS, Alzheimer's and Dementia and other malady.

That's why OLD AGE PENSIONS MUST INCREASE! 10% is not enough. The Government must increase it to at least 20%.  Is that fair?  It must be fair for OLD PEOPLE who worked so hard in Canada for the past 50- 60 years most especially. Those who started working at age 16 or 18 years of age. This idea is not originally from me . ALL CANADIANS want an overhaul of the OLD AGE PENSION due to HIGH COST OF LIVING TO SURVIVE. 

If taxpayers money will just turn into ashes by providing funding for wars to other countries maybe the voice of the people in Canada should matter now and forever. *

ONLY IN CANADA when you see old people aged 70- 80 who still work. And how many stumbling blocks they have to endure and always end up in the hospitals for hip replacement?

THEORY

 Out of the blue, I was asked by "somebody" if I have a theory.

Wtf! What the hell she asked me about it? I first thought she was asking me about "priori."

I was wearing a headset, watching TV, and at the same time doing my drawing so, didn't really have my focus on her question. I mean what "theory" she was asking me? I should have asked what she meant  with her inquiry. After I replied to her, she left and next thing I know there was loud laughter. 

Wow! Am I dreaming? Am I being played?

What is a theory anyway? There are too many meaning or definition for the word "theory."

THEORY - it is a set of facts based on experiment, it could be hypothetical or possibility done in statistical manner, set or compilations of data based on any given policies, dogma, doctrines, principles, situation or circumstantial proof of evidence.

There are too many THEORIES formulated by some geniuses, scientists and those who had experimented for the sake of science, religion, archeology, physics, evolution, extra-terrestials, etc.

However, the most popular of all is the THEORY OF EVOLUTION. 

Which you believe between the Charles Darwin Evolution of Life vs. The Holy Bible's Adam & Eve Theory of Evolution? Charles Darwin thought that the apes are the humans ancestors. Are you an ape?

Next, CONSPIRACY THEORY. The most controversial theory is conspiracy theory most especially with regards to what is happening in our generation. Who are the conspirators, who is the mastermind? There is always that conspiracy theory with regards to Science, Health, Religion & Politics.

 Have you seen the movie 355? Watch for it and think why those women think alike?

How about the television series/documentary STANFORD PRISON EXPERIMENT. Well, haven't seen this very controversial story of made up, experimental issue about real Stanford students who portrayed themselves in this experiment, volunteer students are subdivided into prison guards and prisoners. The volunteer students who posed as prison guards abused their power. They exerted too much effort in using their power to abuse, bully, and use excessive force against those volunteer students who posed as prisoners. If a human being is given a chance to have such power, some of them used it without remorse as if being possessed or just that deep inside their whole being they are actually bad, wicked, evil  or with narcissistic personality? 

Then what about this movie DIRTY DOZEN. In this NAZI movie, it seems difficult to fight the evil within the NAZI Regime that the only solution is a tooth for a tooth strategy. Twelve hardened criminals were set free to fight the NAZI. Is that effective, efficient way to solve the war crimes?

Options In Gold

 Vancouver island was hammered down with the so called "bomb cyclone!" Actually it is not much to be afraid of as in we had something like this before and much powerful during the snowstorm. Maybe it is stronger in other parts of the island that put them on power outage situation and fallen trees on the streets and highways.

I'm glad that we have electricity, no power failure so far. Thank God!

Still dark outside, cold at 7 degrees Celsius. Oh, our fence still standing outside the yard!

What to look forward to today? Hmm... it is the Universal Children's Day. What special things you can do for your children? 

My children are already grown ups. They know what's best for them as in they have minds of their own. I don't like being repetitious and redundant of what my advice for each one of them. For their age, they should be the ones thinking about their parents. lol. If you know what I mean?  Their age, their same age friends were all married and some of them have children of their own while my adult children, 2 still live with us and their older sibling working in the mainland.

It takes a village to raise a child. Do you believe in it? It depends on whatever needs per child in every village or community. There are "needy" and attention deficit kids and highly hyper kids that the whole community knows. There are kids who are out of this world, autistic and want to be alone behind the computers. There are the dramatic, over-acting kids who seem to like the limelight, wanting to be the center of attention, to be the entertainer. Then there are very curious, talented kids who think maturely for themselves and others. 

Kids, children grow up at different phases and their life cycle, chance or destiny depends on the output and input of the people in their lives in their village, in their community. Life is what you make it happen as in you have a choice. 

Teach them WISDOM: To know the truth and discern what is false.

Are You Afraid Of Bomb Cyclone?

 I heard of the fear about BOMB CYCLONE. What is a bomb cyclone? I first thought a cyclone is a strong typhoon or strong hurricane but "cyclone" is the term used somewhere in India, Indian ocean and within that territorial waters partly within its vicinity. 

First thought this has something to do with Winnipeg Blue "Bombers" losing its winning streak against Argonauts. 

Well, there is that Pacific Bomb Cyclone  and about to unleash its fury within the BC Coast especially along Vancouver island today & tomorrow (?). High winds, blizzards and what else the weather newscasters had it for us to know? Do we have to be prepared?

Where Is The Best Place On Earth

 Only 2 degrees Celsius today and possibility of snow flurries in the evening at 7 pm. Of course it's really cold. It takes quite a while for the water tap to get heated for hot water. 

A lot of things going on just by watching news on TV. The crowd's favourite Winnipeg Blue Bombers lost its chance and Argonauts Toronto won the 2024 Grey Cup Championship. Halftime show provided by famous band Jonas Brothers. Surprise! Prince Harry came to promote Invictus Games. 

The Postal Workers still on strike until their demands are met.

Vancouver Canucks won against Blackhawks but didn't win against Predators.

The climate/environment enthusiasts still want to wake up the world about what's happening with the rainforest while the wars in Ukraine & Russia + Israel's war against Hezbollah/Hamas non-stop killing of humans and destroying their countries. Ukraine had started using its long range missile. Darn it. Who would like to fly their airplanes above, they could be hit accidentally. The LRM could also dramatically change weather patterns. Whether the trajectory had reach its correct destination or target, perhaps it reached the wrong layers of the sphere and voila you have powerful climate blast. Pacific blast? The nearest to that trajectory? Arctic blast heard about it?

So Brazil and other third world countries worried about the drought and climate change in their territory and want financial funding for such aim or purpose. Have they not seen or read news about the raging WILDFIRES IN CANADA? Million acres, miles upon miles of ravaged forest turned into black ashes due to wildfires? The calamities and disasters are worst here in Canada & USA. Other countries don't understand the impact of climate change here and they only are worried about their own countries, do we received help from other countries? NO.

Who are the people in Russia? There are the true Russians, Orthodox Jews, Christians, Ukrainian-Russians (the 2 millions + Ukrainians who fled from Ukraine during the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986, probably they are 3-4 millions already). Let say there are 4 MILLIONS UKRAINIANS IN RUSSIA... what to do about it? Four millions of humans occupy great space! How big is Russia? It seems that Russia is so huge based from its map. Part of Russia is tundra, the northern part of Russia is similar to another planet where nobody lives, not even wild animals are to be found nor any vegetation could survive. Study facts about the History of Russia & Ukraine.

Where is the best place on Earth? To live on the moon is a desperate choice. The moon is barren, void, and lifeless! Why astronauts would like to go to the moon? Is there graft and corruption on the moon? MOON IS NOT A PLACE TO LIVE NOT FOR HUMANS. Its barren and void.

The moon is the Earth's satellite. The moon is not a planet. MOON IS SMALL & NOT A PLANET. NO PLAN FOR THE MOON. Its been conquered! Period. Who knows, maybe that's where the new satellites are link together. I first thought through the stratosphere. lol. where radioactivity is magnanimous in proportion. 

Camping

 CAMPING...

 

My very first camping experience when I joined the "International Jamboree" held in Tagaytay, Philippines when I was in elementary and I was a member of the GSP or Girl Scouts of the Philippines. It was fun and challenging because we learned so many life skills: building fire, gathering firewoods, learning about wild plants and their medicinal value from the forest and mountains, learning about first aid, trails, knowing about all knots, puzzles and codes. 

Then when I was age 12, joined the PRC or Philippine Red Cross when only military dependents are allowed to go camping with them. Met new friends, including the nieces and nephew of famous news anchor "BL." What we learned here was actually a secret. lol

Camping in Canada is somewhat different in a way that it is a getaway from urban living, a vacation away from home, closer to the lake or river or closer to the beach. Camping is favorable during spring and summer but unfavorable during autumn or winter.

Blame Game

 I don't know how many times the Postal workers had a strike and coincidentally always at the busiest months of the year. However, can't blame them if they don't receive the right wages and wage increase. It's the year 2024 and high cost of living is unbearable. Then the value of Canadian dollar has been lowered and they blame this on the newly elected President of the USA. 

Oh well, there is always somebody or something to complain about nowadays. So timely. 

While the price of gas has been lowered to 166.9/full tank or 1.66 /liter. Last year's price was up to 225/full tank. At least that makes some drivers happy. But not totally happy because the price of basic needs not really changing. The housing still a problematic issue for everyone. High mortgages and high rental monthly payments.

Think of all the wars happening in other countries. Part of it was actually land ownership through brutal force. Other countries trying to take ownership of the land they don't belong to them. Demolition project through use of force that never ends until the people no longer have homes and they become homeless, refugees and asylum seekers. 

Do you think it will happen here in Canada? There's no war here in Canada.  You can become homeless because your homes had turned into rubble and ashes because of wildfires. You can become homeless if your homes had been hit by lightning, tornadoes, hurricanes and submerge on floods. Some people become homeless because they were evicted for many reasons such as: not able to pay rent, for damages to the rental home, dysfunctional renters or when landlords decided to renovate and sell the house.

Same old story. Again and again and until now... no solution  in sight. Always in the news. It's very redundant for more than 6 years already! 

Would you like to live in a tent as in always camping? 

TRUTH IS...

 I couldn't believe that some people opted for fresh food delivery at their home instead of shopping for their grocery. Is it cheaper that way? Hmm...maybe they don't have time to do it as in they are working full time, no vehicle, or they are sick and cannot go shopping at the supermarket. Or maybe they are living in the remote area and traveling from house to the supermarket would take an hour or two hours.

Maybe that's the "in thing now." 

My husband is the one who likes to go shopping for groceries. He knows what he wants as soon as he entered the supermarket. He's not there for the clothes, shoes, or anything for himself. He just wants to buy foods: meat products, fish, shrimps, rice, potatoes, cooking oil, dairy milk, butter, bread, veggies, fruits. It's always about FOODS. I usually write a long list for him about personal care products, laundry soap, cleaning supply for the house. The list goes on and on. Sometimes, the budget on foods and cleaning supply are overwhelming. It is,  that's why every human being here in Canada is so fed up with the high cost of commodities. 

Do not blame the GRINCHes if they hate the upcoming Holidays because you know that everyone here in Canada is so fed up and angry about what's going on. They blamed the government, the politicians, all the greedy corporations who until now don't know the reality of high cost of living. They are not awake yet or just that they are so blind and deaf.

TRUTH IS...

You are in fantasy, in another world, crazy, not in reality world, or just in great pretension that your life is better than the others.

 

Whatever

 I couldn't believe those TS cultists, yeah heard of the culty movement of TS who purchased expensive clothes with their idol signature and face replica on those garments. Why you may asked? They are so called fanatic. They are on the "hype" of the popularity of their chosen idol. They probably would like to wear their TS sweaters at the concert.

Can't blame them. That also happened during at the time of the Beatles, Madonna, Bruce Springteen, the Queen, and Rolling Stones. When it comes to Rolling Stones with 495,000 in attendance during their concert in Toronto... who could match that? 

In a time when so many of the Torontonians, millions of them as recipient of the Food Banks. I don't know if the news is true or what. 

 Whatever! Being clueless. 

The Filipino Community in Vancouver also has Food Bank to help the seniors in their community. Well, that's really good. Very good indeed. The seniors or old people have fixed income relying mostly on their small pensions. Nothing bad about it. That if you have surplus of non-perishable foods, you must help, serve the seniors in your community.

 

Running Zombies In Apocalypse Z

 Last night, a heavy storm just happened. Cold, gusty noisy winds had blown away part of the fence at the townhouse. Crazy! I wonder what that storm had caused in other parts of the city.

Anyway, last night husband and I watched the APOCALYPSE Z: The Beginning of The End (2024). You know that if its zombie have to watch it. First few minutes, the dialogue was in Spanish. What happened? Why is it in Spanish? The title of the movie is in English FGS! We thought it will have subtitles on the screen of our TV in English, later on. However, the movie is really in Spanish from the beginning to the end. Well, even if its in Spanish we decided to watch it anyway. 

Manel, the lead actor in this movie was in isolation after he and his wife had an accident when a big truck had rammed their vehicle, not stopping, as in hit and run. Manel survived, his wife was in a coma at the hospital. Manel was out shopping and noticed that the people are somewhat in a purchase of bulk of groceries and they all looked frightened. It was too late for him to get and stored food supply when the outbreak happened like in a flash. The authority had all his neighbors evacuated and he remained in his house together with his cat not wanting to follow the mass evacuation. His food supply ran out and he managed to get out in search of food but unfortunately every home was empty of humans and empty of food. The cabinets and fridge empty of foods. He met a woman in a wheelchair, through his search of food and whatever he found in other houses he shared it with the old woman. However, the next day, the old woman died. Manel has to let go and search humanity and food but he learned that even the military had been taken and turned into zombies. The most incredible zombies because they can run! They are not the slow walking zombies anymore. They are the rabid, rabies infested zombies and they are very hungry.

As usual... FOOD SUPPLY the most important in daily lives of humans whether there is a pandemic or no pandemic. Food the most important during the wars. Otherwise if there is no source of food... humans become the FOOD.

This is not really a boring movie. Even if its a Spanish movie, when it comes to ZOMBIES you can understand and comprehend the magnitude of the story.

How could it be low battery when my computer is always "plugged." Weird hacker!

So, Remembrance Day tomorrow and you know that Canada is the country who celebrate it with much pompous parade and tributes to the sacrifices of men and women in uniform... the brave courageous soldiers of the past and present, the veterans, and those who suffered in the conflict of wars.

Every Remembrance Day, I usually compose a poem and draw visual arts, however this time around don't have any poem ready.

Strive To Be Happy

 Supposedly, the PANDEMIC OUTBREAK OF COVID-19 in 2020 should lower all prices of commodities. The population would be lesser because of massive deaths around the world.

If you know and studied ECONOMICS. You know that the pandemic is a "made up created to make lots and tons of money."

However, that's not the case. The COVID-19 Outbreak had brought staggering high inflation, stratospheric high cost of living, the price of gas and oil was to the roof to the stratosphere actually... the price of houses, condominiums and apartments went up so high that nobody can afford except if you are a millionaire or billionaire or if you win the lottery. Some people can afford, only the down payment and struggle to pay monthly mortgages.

Not enough? The population explosion! Instead of a decrease, there is that double increase in population most especially in the US, Canada, Philippines, in Europe. What the hell is wrong with that "pandemic." Is that called "fundemic?" 

Are you not suspicious? That the people who had so much anti Covid-19 vaccines are the ones who are sick most of the time? How the hell that happened?

Yes, there is that massive GREED. Actually that's GLUTTONY. 

There are devils and demonic entities living among us. The great greed of power dominion over Earth and so many billions of us living in poverty. Well, you have to stop the pretension that you are not struggling but deep down inside you... you don't belong to the higher ups. You can live day to day always struggling to survive, working your ass off to make a living for your family. Happy are those who are in graft and corruption eh? lol. 

How to be happy?  Happiness is what you make it. Be happy to be alive. That's all.

 I had read the Bible Story of Abraham, yesterday. Who is Abraham? He is a Bible character in the Old Testament. He is married to Sarah, had sons Jacob and Isaac. 

Father Abraham has seven children))) seven children has Father Abraham. Do you know that song?

How many wives Abraham? Do you know? In the Holy Bible story, majority of the main characters who are God fearing had several wives and hundreds of children. I know that's almost taboo but God allowed them to have too many wives and too many children because they have to propagate.

What God had done to Sodom & Gomorrah? They were burned to ashes because of those unrighteous men who would rather have those "male angels"  for their lust and fornication.

Wow! Miraculous amazing! Who would have thought that the whole America still in favor of Pres. Trump after all those negative rhetoric, all the drama and all the bashing and non-stop bad/worst word wars between Republicans and Democrats. 

The Americans probably made up their minds about FAMILY VALUES and what America stand for: 

"UNITED WE STAND. DIVIDED WE FALL."

Now, let us focus in Canada. How are we to face the future when the politics here is the same since the last four years. Nothing has changed. The price of commodities are still pricey. Housing is unaffordable. How we can move out from where we currently live? It would be nice to live in a rancher rather in an up and down house, not good for old people. The health woes and the many problems about economic crisis that arise every time those politicians spend the people's money to splurge on wars that never stop. The budget that is supposedly for the people here in Canada but being spent in other people who don't belong to Canada. Weird! Graft and corruption. Well, there is always check & balance you know. 

Still in the pursue of OAS increase for the Seniors. It's just about time. The pensions must increase according to the economic situation in Canada otherwise, those politicians whose not working for greater good must go. If you are to use the budget on refugees and asylum seekers and other wars that we should not be a part of ... those politicians should better pack their bags and out of politics. 

CANADA MUST SHOW THE WORLD THEY CAN UNITE TOO.

Economic Crisis: Not Enough?

 Woke up too early because as you know, DST or Daylight Savings Time was implemented again last Sunday. So, if I wake up at 5 am, that's only 4 am. Darn it. It's getting colder too and darker at 5 pm. The weather temperature this month would be below 14 degrees Celsius and mid November will be below 10 degrees Celsius. Duh... always like that.

All TV News Networks are too busy with the Presidential Election in the United States and everyone's waiting patiently for the result of the counting. I hope the most deserving candidate wins this 2024 US Presidential Election. Otherwise it's the same old story and the same kind of rhetoric and all the negativity and what else, economic crisis? Don't we have enough? 

WARS between Israel & Hezbollah and Hamas still uncontrollable. The war between Ukraine & Russia hasn't stop. Who will stop them. The Biden/Harris were not able to stop it. So...

It's the Year 2024. Heavy loads... you need a huge trunk to load the heavy loads of burden. 

While Canadians watch with anticipation that whatever happened in the US, they know that Canada will be affected. No doubt about it. We're neighbors. 

The problem of 11 millions of undocumented immigrants or illegal aliens... that too is such a burden to a country. My goodness! Canada has no budget to accommodate such massive influx. They cannot even help the old people here when it comes to Old Age Security and the high cost of living why bother getting some stones to throw at their own faces? If the US, a country that is huge almost like a continent cannot afford to accommodate those "millions of influx" what Canada can do for them? They have their own country and their own leaders. They can go back. Love your own country. Be loyal to your own country.

SHOCK - Revive!

 I'm almost finished with my Project: Drawing and the sketchpad is already full. I couldn't believe I can fill up that sketch pad with drawings. I wonder what I will do to keep me busy 3x per week, 4 hours per day in sitting position. Would it be better if I bring my laptop and just blog there at CDF instead? I know of two patients who bring their laptops to keep them busy and occupied for 4 hours which is smart way to do anyway. However, I wont be able to concentrate with the "blogging" because you know being attached with the machine, the blood pressure is also monitored every 20 minutes it will just cause my machine to beep so many times and that's annoying for the nurses. That's one thing I don't like to happen as in don't like being called "notorious." Notorious for being noisy, rather having noisy machine. Noisy for coughing. I have allergy triggered by something I smelled.

As you know, just the coughing which is a "cough reflex" not intentional is not my fault. I was thinking that maybe that's not "allergy" maybe that's the "shock."

Series of shock administered to patient if they are not sitting properly on the chair and if you move not in accordance to the orderly alignment then you get the shock and series of shock which is the cough reflex punishment. If that's the SHOCK... why?

Wow! Punishment for being righteous? That seems odd. Or is the machine 👾 somewhat made for RFI Procurement? Not really for the cure? Maybe I am being punished for questioning the way things are. Maybe I should keep quiet then. 😷🙈🙉🙊🙀

Another patient who is diabetic said it must be something to do with my lungs. Dude, I don't have fever, sore throat, chest pain, no pain, no colds. The rest of the nurses told me to have X-ray, lung function test. Sure! Done that. Clear and normal result!! Not enough? They asked me again to have another X-ray. Once again it's clear and normal. Later on they asked me to have allergy test. Done that! Me, the obedient law abiding human follows what is required to settle their inquiry.  Seek the help of the EENT Specialist for the allergy test. What he found out? I'm allergic to "pollen." Yes, those pollen in the air and everywhere which is the common pollutants in Canada because of Mother Nature as in Canada is surrounded with billions upon billions of trees and vegetation. Pollen is the dust in Canada.

And would you believe I'm also allergic to grass. Really? No wonder, when I did the lawn mowing of the yard before, that bothered me so much. Hard to breathe. darn it. Those face masks are made from what fiber? Did you know that a bamboo is a grass? Rayon is derived from bamboo fiber. 

I should not inform you about my allergy because so many wicked evil humans who will try to know and try what allergy I have so that they can pull a trick on me. Pranksters who are happy to pull a trigger and God knows what harm they can inflict. So many crazy humans who are unhappy, jealous & who are so envious about other people who are happy. Happiness is what you make it. 

There's nothing to be envious now. Would you like to be on dialysis? I don't think you'll like my chair at the dialysis clinic. Everywhere I sit, no matter what chair... the machine beeps most of the time when I'm there. Yeah quite annoying! The machine doesn't like me. One of the nurses told me that I'm gonna break their machines. lol. At one time, the machine quit on me. The screen of the dialysis monitor screen went blank. Black dark. Nothing. Just that it went off. It shuts off automatically. O-M-G! Ghost!!!!!!!!! They said it only happened to me. Several months ago, that happened again. The monitor screen shut off all of a sudden. Now, who's ghost is that trying to scare us? Hey that could be E.T.

LOL.

What if I told you about the "dream" I had from last year? Would you believe? I posted it in my other blog, sometime year 2023.

Just watch the news on TV when it comes to politics, when two opponents fight for supremacy. Each one inflicting the other one is dictator while she is a fascist. She thought he is a fascist and dictator but actually she is the fascist. Sorry, we should not include politics here.

What's The Secret?

 Only 4 degrees Celsius outside!! 19 degrees inside our home. Yes, it's getting cold as ever. Nothing that we can do about it during Autumn and Winter season. It would be much colder in the coming days. We don't have gas fireplace here so we have to use heater which is electrical. It's ok, doesn't matter. The house has insulation. 

So what else is new? Nothing much but yesterday I told the nurse that the dialysis machine is such a controlling machine. She agreed that the machine is such a bossy machine. Any movement of the patient makes the machine beeps like crazy. You just sigh, laugh, cough, breath fast, sneeze, make grunting sounds, reach for something on the left or right side outside of the chair could mean long beeping sound that alerted the nurses. The machine is always alert and very sensitive. 

My God!! What the hell!! It's almost like "Stanley Milgram" experiment. I'm not paid though! lol

At least that controversial STANLEY MILGRAM EXPERIMENT had volunteers being paid for such experiment. Beware though... SME is a NAZI Experiment! Supposedly that's exclusively for "accountants" and politicians. ha ha so NAZI!

Dude, I'm faster than a machine!! Ha ha ha! Compete with me NAZI MACHINE.

Darn it. I should not laugh at this crazy turn events of my life.  

I wonder why those other patients do not experience such beeping sounds in their machine? What is their secret? They just sit there like comfortably and the machine never encounter any problem. Are machines different from the machine I am using? Hmm... 

Actually most of the patients are sitting properly making no movements at all. That's why they have "edema." Or sometimes their legs get numb and few of them suffered cramps. Most of them sleep during dialysis. I cannot sleep though. That's why I keep busy by reading Wilbur Smith's long novels or write something, or drawing is the best next thing to do smartly and using my time wisely as possible. Watching TV is good too but you can only get stiff neck because the TV is up there hanging from the ceiling.

I'm always being asked about something. I should ask them right? Are machines showing favoritism? Is there a machine that is "racist?"

Or the machine I am using has RFI? Is there a listening device? Uhmm...

Guess what? The beeping sound that alerts the machine? A very skilled healthcare worker told me why the machine beeps. IT WAS A TRICK. There was a trick to stop it. My God! At least that kind-heared human being is not only a nurse but a technician who knows the dialysis machine really well.  Huh? I was shocked. You mean that the beeping sound was "made up?" Or I was given a faulty machine? That was so very strange!
