Welcome Year 2024

 Before the New Year Ends are the countdown of desirable and undesirable events of the past year of 2023 which is actually History's hottest year when it comes to global climate. It is the worst year when it comes to global climate change, calamities such as wildfires, storms and flash floods, then the sudden, abrupt war between the Israelis & Hamas. There is no stopping the war in Ukraine between Russia and the recurring mishap between the fight over the Philippine's territorial claim in the South Seas by China. There are so many problems and conflict arising when it comes to food supply, its huge demand and the recurring war about Covid surge. The heightened political disputes everywhere. All countries and its people are suffering from high cost of living and what else to complain about? HEALTH CARE! That's what it is in THE NEWS NETWORKS everywhere. The common, usual news broadcast and breaking news...

Yeah Health Care is one of those problems. Just let those Health Ministries, Ministers, Staff, Health Care providers and Health Care workers work on those problems, why? It's because they are paid to do their works. Although, some hospitals would like you to make comments or help them provide solutions to those humongous,  burgeoning cases. 

Then the rise of the AI.

New Year starts with a big bang, with loud noises of counting then powerful, colorful fireworks and firecrackers. Be careful with your hands when dealing with those fireworks and firecrackers! Hugs and kisses and lots of jumping up and down to welcome the New Year. 

Drink moderately & Eat only foods that are beneficial for you. 

You don't have to be greedy or end up a glutton.

Homelessness Is Still A Huge Problem?

 Homelessness still is the number one problem here in Canada. Know why? How many calamities had been in and out of Canada for the past 5 years? 

Mother Nature has a way of causing unavoidable disaster and calamities such as wildfires, hurricanes, flash floods, tornadoes, winter storms, etc. 

Wildfires are the worst of this disaster caused entire community of Fort McMurray into rubbles and ashes. Next is the community of Lytton, BC. The wildfires in Kelowna and other parts of BC also caused so much havoc not only in their houses, condominiums and business establishments. Start counting all those families who lost their dwellings and you'll probably have hundred thousands of them who are homeless. Include the  millions of new immigrants who are also in search for homes to where they can begin their new lives. Then those refugees and asylum seekers... what to do about them?

NOTE: Have you seen the "answer to that?" from Sen. Haley from USA? In the US, they have to be worried about asylum seekers. Why? US is the country of diversity. The hardcore Patriots wont take chances by taking in refugees or asylum seekers because the budget would be added burden for the taxpayers. It would cause more violence. It is not about RACISM it is about SURVIVAL. You want to survive? Your families are already struggling together with MILLIONS OF STRUGGLING FAMILIES would you like MORE SUFFERING? What they do with those refugees or asylum seekers they were asked if they want to seek shelter in Canada. The burden was brought to Canada if they are willing to accept the BURDEN. Canadians are you willing to share the burden? Share the wildfires! Truth is better to ask the FIRST NATIONS if they are willing to share their lands that they co-owned together with the White People. To bring the Palestinians in Canada would only mean Armageddon would be here in Canada. Be prepared for the worst! You have witnessed those wildfires in 2023 and 2024? Politicians aiming that Armageddon goal should or must resign now... you don't care about Canada. You don't f' care about Canada and original inhabitants here!!

There are newly built housing facilities and new condos everywhere and here's the problem for them: Can they afford those new houses, apartment, and condos? That's the question. Some of them can afford and others cannot because of the rising cost of living which is stratospheric high that reaching the moon, Mars and Saturn is an option. Can the illegal immigrants afford the newly built condos, apartments and houses? They cannot afford to live in their own countries how they can afford here in Canada?

I know, those politicians and their Ministries had so much work to do on how they can please them especially the taxpayers! People who paid taxes regularly in this country are the ones you have to pay attention with. But everyone's paying taxes here!! Buyers and sellers paid taxes in the form of GST & PST including Carbon tax. A collection of these taxes could end up in billions of dollars in one day!! That's how wealthy Canada is. Well if they know how to count and calculate. Every country owes debts from the WORLD BANK or IMF.

In Economics, scarcity of resources is a huge problem too. Nothing is too much if something keeps adding up like population. If you know what I mean. There's always a budget for certain country but it will become limited to certain degree. Certain country can only maximize their sources and resources for their own people. This is not a joke it's the ECONOMY AT STAKE. You are not limitless. A country is not limitless. A once well developed country could end up in poverty, bankrupt and downward spiral into third world country. SAVE YOUR COUNTRY from being manipulated. It is not power trip rather you have to save your own country and its people.

Satellites What Are You Doing?

 My husband and I were busy in the mood for the prep and cooking our foods for the Christmas celebration dinner when we noticed that our fridge is not cooling the way it is. Something is wrong. 

The freezer is  perfect! (0). But the fridge is warm not cold enough for its main function. We tried to push the button to its lower temperature but it always come back to higher temperature of 73 F or 75 degrees F (Normal should be 38 F temperature). The handle is cold though. Weird. Turned off the fridge and we took out all the stuff inside the fridge and freezer, cleaned the whole fridge and freezer and let it off the socket for the time being maybe it needs a time off from electricity flow or its motor must relax, whatever.  Well, how old is our fridge now? 

 

I remember we bought our Kenmore stainless fridge sometime in 2014. Nine years only! FGS!! Refrigerators no matter what brand is can last up to 20 years at the most. 

I was not worried though because appliances here at the townhouse should be provided by the owner of the building. The truth is:  the appliances such as the stove/oven, fridge, washer and dryer are owned by us not by the owner of the townhouse. The townhouse owner should provide us a brand new fridge because that's part of the lease or part of renting here at the townhouse. The townhouse we are currently renting was once managed by the Realty Company where my husband worked for 24 years until it was sold to the new owner sometime two years ago.

My husband is reacting too much as in he's not the kind of  person  demanding the right way.  I don't think he would demand for  brand new fridge from the new owner.  We have the right to demand for brand new fridge because we used our own appliances for this unit of their townhouse. My God!!

 

But you know here in Canada where most machines are almost related to the "satellites up there in space." Once those satellites are burned in stratosphere your machines including your cars, trucks and other precious vehicles with computers are also out in circulation! 

I could be wrong but I remember that's what happened to our car and my friend's cars which are "Lumina" with computer chips in those cars and when they stopped its function you know those satellites are out of commission in space.

Anyway, we had our good blessed Christmas dinner of roast turkey, stuffing, gravy, springrolls, beef rotini pasta, veggies, lechon, prawns, steamed rice, pancit, scalloped potatoes, etc. 

 

 

Dessert: Blueberry/carrot/cinnamon cupcakes and Vanilla ice cream, fresh fruits

Happy moments and  unhappy moment because of the failure of the fridge to store the left-over. Good thing is we have a  chest freezer where we can store some of the frozen stuff. Because its colder outside, we can use "the outside" as the "cooler" for cooling some stuff. lol.😜😀

Curiosity...curiosity

Christmas has been cancelled in the most Holiest Site in the world, in the birthplace of the most Holiest Born in Bethlehem. You probably know why and there is valid reason for that.

How about me? Do I have to cancel Christmas? Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. It is Jesus Christ's birthday. Whether there is war, calamities and disaster no matter what happens Christmas will be celebrated all around the world, whether you are poor or rich in whatever destiny and location you are in. It is a traditional way of honoring and respect for such religious upbringing as in customary set by your own ancestors being passed down to your family. There's nothing that you can do unless you become a humbug or grinch.

Surprises! Some people love surprises. Do I like surprises? Not really. I don't like changes too. Change of clothing that's good. Change of where to live is okay to much better environment is much appreciated. It's just that the problem of most of us asking "who can afford what they are building?" Are those buildings (houses, townhouses, condos) affordable for low income or fixed income people?

Are they building those houses, townhouses and condos for those high income people? If its for HIGH INCOME people then those buildings will be empty for sometime. Or will be rented or sold and those families will live there for few months and OUT. 

Did you know that in the Year 2000? Not too many families can afford a two bedroom house, 1 1/2 bathrooms (townhouse) with 5 appliances for $700/monthly only. Utilities not included in the rent. With the staggering high inflation and high cost of living at present time Year 2023 who can afford $2,000/month to $3,000/month's rent?

What is affordable for Canadians? Have you seen those tent people in Canada?  How many is too much? Those whose lives were turned upside down due to many calamities such as wildfires, hurricanes and tornadoes will start once again from worn out tools. Like every year you have those calamities... it's the question of are those unaffordable buildings sturdy enough from those "calamities?"  It's a never ending battle with calamities and disaster in Canada.

Anyway, there is no perfect place on Earth. Mars is still uninhabitable. Go ask Mars Rover Curiosity. 

To turn Earth into Mars? LOL. Ha ha! You would have problem turning Mars into Earth but turning Earth into Mars? Hmmm...

Naturally... Undefined.

 If you have burden with problems, think that you are not alone and your problems are nothing compared to their own problems. It's how you carry your loads that make it heavier than the loads of others. It seems that some other people have a way of coping up. It's  a case per case basis and depends on how strong you are to accept the way things are. Some of us have no choice. That's what it is. 

Choices are not in favor with your situation but there is always a way. Think positive or just take things lightly. Just like what a known politician said over and over again as in, "we're all going there." True! So true!! Whoever gets there first or whoever gets there last... then knows what becomes of that person or what happened to the afterlife who knows. Tell me if you get there first ahead of us. 

This reminds me of my promise with my best friend and she promised me when she passed away first. "Kailangan magparamdam" if she reached the other life. Which she did actually and so many dreams of her. She seemed happy and she was with my Lola in the next life. In so many dreams about her and my Lola, they want me to go with them. It's happier in another life they told me. My God! What those dreams about? 

Forget about it for now. There is so much to be grateful about. There are many regrets and too many losses for so many people who lost their homes due to wildfires, hurricanes, floods, tornadoes and other calamities. and there are never-ending wars which other countries can no longer support because they have conflict of their own that they cannot resolve for almost a century. To say, let bygones be bye gone is not so normal. To forgive, to forget... only time will tell. 

Let's give peace a chance for now? Right on! Christianity is about forgiveness but you can't love your enemy. Ask the great Buddha about it. It is foolish to like nor love an enemy. That's stupidity. The only way to make sense about it is to avoid your enemies as if they don't exist. 

Christmas is fast approaching, alright. It is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. However, how we celebrate it in the most civilized world? Through shopping and then gift-giving. Shop until you drop and what happened in the month of January? Oh well, always the same old story. Most people will work so hard these holidays because they have to pay their CERB and their loans. For the sick and terminally ill? Count your blessings and inspire others of how strong you are to cope up with the unexpected obstacles. Accept the way things are. It just happened that you are "blessed to be with God ahead of everybody." There is afterlife. You wont believe it's the same people there except for the setting created in a different dimension and time as in "time warped." However, always pray for miracles. Miracles always happened and given to the righteous. 

Got to believe in miracles! 🙏

 15 DAYS TO CHRISTMAS? OMG! What's in store for Christmas? I was asked recently if I'm already prepared for Christmas. Really is that a question?

Ha ha! OMG I'm so whiny eh? It's not really a problem for me about Christmas celebration and the spirit of gift-giving. That was before. At present time do I have to be worried or concern about it? Now that the present situation is not favorable on my side? My life has changed drastically  and dramatically.

My present health scare and health situation is somewhat in questionable. I questioned everything. I kept quiet, trying to be calm sometimes not to hurt anybody. Not to offend anybody with my blunt words. I don't like hurting so many people with the kind of words I am about to unleash like raging fury of molten rocks and hot lava spewing from an angry volcano. I am freaking mad, angry at those who made malicious, misdiagnosis and manipulation and contamination when it comes to my health. There's nothing that they can do to fix how badly wrong they are in so many ways. I don't even know if I can forgive them nor God will forgive them for their grave mistakes. GOD WILL NEVER FORGIVE THEM. Their conscience will bother them for the rest of their lives for sure!

HEALTH IS WEALTH. You are wealthy if you are perfect and you are perfectly healthy. Somehow some people are healthy physically but not mentally. Some people are almost perfect mentally but physically disabled. Imperfections are always present and in connection with imperfect environment and imperfect human beings. Yup. nobody's perfect! 

Just because nobody's perfect the only reason to get away? If you committed a crime, you cannot get away from my wrath. Not a warning. I might die but I wont let you off the hook.

Adaptation

 My God! Somebody is copying my strategy!! What's wrong with her? Is she very insecure? What a total loser!! She's got nothing! I mean she's got no heart and soul. Conscience? NOTHING. Fake. Total faker!

OMG! I should just keep my mind busy about something else.

To those hackers who hacked and had stolen my ideas, including my "post blog notes" Mahiya naman kayo. Ang kapal nyo. You think the snow will drop and cover your homes up to your roof when I get angry at you. LOL. Hmmm... Wow! You might enjoy it, right? How about power out? Oh no! LOL

Too witchy! I remember... I am a SAINT. So I should be kind all the time. Nice try though.

It is getting colder in the morning and wishing it will get warn in the next hours. After days of windy, rainy, stormy days... the roofs on most houses are covered with frost looked more like dusty gingerbread houses. Chimneys puffing out white smokes evidently seen through and through as families getting cozy and warm in their  homes. Good enough, keep yourself warm through the winter months. You probably have enough warm blankets, warm jackets and coats, mittens, gloves and pair of boots. There's nothing that you can do living in Canada with the four seasons of Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall so better to get used to it and learn to adapt.

Drive safely and make sure your vehicles are equipped with winter tires. Slow down when it's time to slow down and go fast when it's time to go fast.

We cannot stop those snow falling on the top of the mountains. Mountain resorts have to deal with their seasonal business open for skiing, skateboarding, toboganning and other popular winter sports. It is what it is. If we can stop it while we can and hold our peace if we cannot.

Do You Believe In Magic?

 (It was) Windy and stormy weather was evidently seen yesterday morning but not for long because hours passed by and the bright mighty sun once again won and darker clouds were blown away by winds. Thank goodness! I know we need more rainfall because low precipitation was a problem before during Spring and Summer season. The thought of having too much rainfall can cause floods and messy grounds and can cause a lot of damage for the farmlands. Whatever it is. When it is too much it  can cause harm. OMG! I have too many problems don't need to add up. Let the Climate Change/ Environmentalists deal with environment and global climate. It is not for me to solve the world's problem about weather, about the climate and all the malady out there. Some people are paid to do those works. 

That's what it is. Miracles happened not because your payers are heard. Miraculous powers have something to do with the amount of monetary or financial powers of those who are willing to give to change the weather or climate in certain countries.

The power of your country's wind turbines. The giant wind turbines can change the route of the winds. It can change the turn of the tides and waves. Satellites up there can also change the weather and climate. Scientific and modern technology can also help with all things that need changes for as long as it is for the betterment of society.    

The smoke from large kaingin system can also change the weather. Too much smoke in the atmospheric level  of the Earth can change the weather. The amount of molecules and the chemistry of all those elements when mixed and combined can cause positive and negative reactions. When those + and - charges of particles on clouds can cause lightning and thunder and sometimes create a downpour, rainfall, storms, hurricanes or how much chemical elements and reactions are activated.

You think it's magic? Long time ago, those Mother Nature occurrences seemed spell of magic. They summoned wizards and sorceress to do the magic tricks causing the unbelievers to tremble in fright.

Some malady, ailments and other hard to cure illness also are curable now because by the divine power of FREE & affordable health care and free sources of medicines and medical equipment created to prolong lives and from those who believe that all accidents are preventable and lives are worth saving for what else  you can't believe in our time?

Wishing... Nothing's Wrong With It

Do I have to be happy? Christmas wont be that happy, happier or the happiest after what I've been going through.

I felt cheated. I felt that there are so many manipulative hands out there, maraming paquialamera sa buhay ko. As if they know me and my health condition. As if they know everything. As if they are god. Too many acts of wrongdoing. Too many misdiagnosis. Too many with narcissistic attitudes. 

I wish they were just honest. I wish they are godsend not the devil's send.

I wish they work for the good conscience not consumed of what they can earn per hour.

I wish they are humans with conscience, heart and soul.

I can only wish... 

And I heard some people's laughter. Ha! I made them laugh because they thought that's funny. I know so many are grieving of loss. So many people are suffering of trauma. You think there are people still with conscience?

Organized Crime?

 Last Sunday was a busy day for me because my good mood has set me to my sewing activity again. Sewing is still my favorite hobby especially when there is availability of fabric. 

Well I cannot post the shoulder bag that I made. Suddenly the photos was in a set in a confi folder file. lol. My computer has a mind of its own now like it was being guarded by an AI. lol

So, I was busy sewing when my husband hand over the phone to me. I had a call from the hospital. OMG! What now? Turned out, the caller on the line said that I was chosen for the survey/interview for 32 to 42 minutes. I have to answer their questionnaires. Really?! Why?

Because I cannot see the interviewer I declined. Even if its from the hospital, I don't know who he is. I cannot recognized the voice. It could be a prank. Besides, I  might say something that offends because I am a very honest, truthful human being and I don't hold secrets. I want some people to be honest and truthful too just the same. I said NO. I cannot be in that "interview." I might get bullied and tortured for whatever I have to reveal. 

Did you know that in Canada? Canada has secret gang of bullies! They are like the Neo NAZI! You don't know them as they secretly work in a way as "organized crimes." You don't want being in their target or hit list. You think they are only men or males? This organized crime of secret bullies are also females!

Is "organized crime" something new in Canada? Absolutely not! You can hear those two words  most of the time through most of the news networks in Canada. It's always in the NEWS! BULLYING & RACISM is part of the normal way of life here. Even the PM Trudeau knew about such problem but he can't do anything about it. Usong-uso rin ang bullying sa politics.

Yung sasabihin mo na gawa-gawa mo lang yang mga cuento ng bullying and racism then you are from another planet or just too afraid to even be aware of such. Yung coward ka!! Yung lagi kang takot pati sa sarili mo kinatatakutan mo dahil duwag ka! You are afraid to lose your job.Takot masangkot. Pag andyan na yung lawsuit magtatago na ang mga salarin. LOL. Madami akong kilalang lawyers!!!!!! May pinsan ako na lawyer and he owns  a  law office with batch of lawyers grad. of Ateneo. I know too many who work at the Pentagon and madami dyang CIA. Anong laban nila? Yey! We are surrounded by the CIA already. Pati si Echo FBI na rin yan aside from being K9. Ha ha ha!

Is there Bullying in other countries? Of course! In Philippines, bullying usually happened in fraternities in schools and universities. "Initiation" HAZING or torture is part of such ritual which always resulted in death.

Are You Safe?

 MARAMING MAYAMAN sa CANADA! Tutuo yan! It's easy to become richer and wealthier here in Canada for as long as you are hardworking daw! 

Here are the reasons why some families are just rich and wealthier for few years ONLY.

Canada is a country of too many calamities and global warming and environmental hazards. One year you have a million dollar mansion and swimming pool then gone all of a sudden abruptly when hurricanes struck your city and province. Snowstorms, flash floods, tornadoes  and worst of all WILDFIRES.  Add the pandemic to such uncertainty. Good that we don't have earthquakes or volcanic eruption in Canada.

Good if your property has insurance. What if you don"t have insurance for your property?

There are too many millionaires in a millionaire's row and what they are having under basements? Go ask the RCMP. Most of them have plantation and crystal meth laboratories.

You have those families under the radar of the RCMP for criminal activities for such a very long time. Hard to touch those wealthy families. They have too much money on their hands.

They are "upstarts" and what my Economics professor used to call them as "burgoise." Hmm is that French? Yung mga nag-uumpisa palang yumaman sila ang feeling millionaire. Nakakahiya! Nadadamay yung iba na deserve nila ang wealth nila.

According to an Iranian activist she no longer is safe in Canada because the bad guys who are after her are already here in Canada. How bad guys can enter Canada? What the Custom and Border Patrol doing? Not enough Intelligence? CSIS where are you? That's why the CIA & PENTAGON should work here in Canada. (According to the news on TV) She wants the protection of the FBI. 

NO ONE IS SAFE HERE IN CANADA!

I know... the first time I heard of the rampant bullying that led to the suicide of a young boy (son of my Filipina friend) that racism is alive here and how many bullies and how many bullying will lead to the death of young people in Canada. Worst of all Canadian born citizens are the ones being bullied most of the time.

 On the subject of humility. You know when some people are faking on how affluent, wealthy some humans are... you can feel if they are just sort of trying to uplift their status as if they owned almost everything in this world. Always showing off what they've got as if they have all the money they can buy.

I know of some people who are like that. They are the "upstarts" the conceited! Mayabang! Sobra!! LOL.

I know those kind of humans. Sobrang mayayabang. Nakarating lang ng Canada parang feeling millionare and billionare ang mga attitude. Kung yung mga tunay na mayayaman feeling modest and frugal lang sila. Then suddenly economic crisis happened, the pulp mills closed down, the sawmills closed down and suddenly their houses were on foreclosures by the bank. These are the very unrepentant humans who are showing and blabbing about their homes, their condos turned out their houses and condos were owned by banks. Well. nadamay lang yung iba. Meron din namang iba na frugal kahit mayaman sila hindi sila mayabang. Kuripot lang. Parang yung uncle ko na ang yaman yaman nya, he owned tracts of land in Naga, lawyer sya pero ang bait-bait, very generous at very humble pa.

I remember one of those upstarts trying to belittle me, "your husband is White Canadian and your family just renting a house?" Yeah, those kind of upstarts who said some nasty comments who lost their homes, their condos because they were owned by banks and they cannot repay mortgages. They think that they are paying mortgages and had down-payment their houses are owned already. HINDI NO! YOU OWNED THE HOUSE IF YOU ARE FULLY PAID!

 

 There's nothing wrong with renting a house/condo/ or apartment for as long as you are paying the homeowner on regular basis. My husband was once a residential manager for townhouses/apartment and houses and he knew and I knew how to manage 75 units and 75 families (more than 150 tenants within span of 24-25 years) (yung ibang tenants ayaw ng magmove out!)  with different needs with different problems from dysfunctional, divorcees dealing with custody battle and all the illegal parties and noises that go with it. Being the Residential Manager for those 75 units were the most stressful and challenging job ever and if you don't have managerial knowledge and skills you wont be able to deal with it. 

Maraming nagtatanong kung ano bang ibang trabaho ng asawa ko. So yun nga, he was a resident manager and before that let me tell you na:

My husband started working at age 16 in his parents owned logging camp. The business was co-owned with their uncle. When my husband was in his mid 30's he was a supervisor for Skeena Cellulose. He left the pulp mill because of better opportunity in another company. Then he moved to a Stevedoring company as a Manager (managed longshoremen in the loading/shipping grains, pulp and paper, kraft, logs and lumber for export). 

We moved to the island because he wants to be closer to his aging parents. It was easy for him to find job because he is highly skilled and his work experiences are top notch excellent. That's how he became a Resident Manager for a Realty Company.

He had police training with the RCMP because of the by-laws involved in the peace and order in dealing  with "difficult to handle tenants."

Now that's too much information right?

May nagtanong pa. Medyo intimidating ang tanong. Bakit daw hindi kami yumaman. Alam mo kasi hindi corrupt ang asawa ko. He paid taxes!! Hindi sya madamot. Pag may nanghiram sa kanya ng pera pinahihiram nya kaso hindi na nagbabayad yung mga nanghiram. Marami rin syang natulungan sa work. He employed too many workers in many of those places where he worked kaso mga walang utang na loob yung iba. Marami rin syang natulungang tenants because he was not judgmental. He doesn't care about who they are as long as they are humans with moral compass or humans who happened to be in need of shelter to live. He had so much compassion for those people who happened to lose their jobs due to the closing and shutdown of the pulp mills and sawmills. Our family helped those who need help. It is not our duty but we became "the social workers" for those people in need and the Ministry just checked on them if those families get the help they need. OMG! Long story. That long 24-25 years of service could make more than 500 pages of a book. Maybe thousands of pages!

 

Who's Likeable & Who's Not?

 It's okay not to be the "likeable" or be the center of magnetic pole. Not because you have hundreds to thousands of friends on your Facebook and Twitter you are likeable? Think again. Think twice how you think you are likeable? Let's face the truth.

The truth about those clicks of Likes on your Facebook account. In the first year of my Facebook account usage, I had millions of "likes." MILLIONS! How that happened? I only have hundred of friends I knew from High School and College Years, and most of the mutual friends are family, relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, best-friends). Where those millions came from? Those "likes" were clicks from mostly strangers. Strangers I don't even know. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I started getting paranoid. Who are those strangers? I cannot even log in smoothly on my computer because of the sudden "activity" or strange, busy happenings in my account. The reason is when there are millions of clicks on your profile views and posted photos, the computer get stuck, there is reason for crash and you the owner of that account can no longer log in. You have to make a new account. That's what happened with magnetic cores. 

My next account is on "privacy" not public viewing and that settles the problem. [[ However, lately have to change that attitude]]. Also having anti-spyware and having anti-virus also has helped. No more million likes. It's great though. You are not a celebrity that needs millions to billion likes just to prove about your popularity.

Remember: PEOPLE WHO REALLY LIKE YOU ARE YOUR TRUE GOOD FRIENDS.

There's Always Something New (+ 1)

 A lot of things had happened within a month: battling with my own wits, battling with other people's brains, and battling how to live and survive. Sorry, I can be very annoying. I have the right to save my life.

It might sound long and tedious, suspenseful, and mysterious.

I tried not to ask questions and question their own intentions and motives. I have inquisitive minds too.

Look, I watched too many FBI, SEAL TEAM, JACK RYAN, NCIS and detective movies and series. Although few of the stories are fiction but most of the stories are real-life stories actually ...

 let me tell you something that you get to learn so many good stuff from those FBI agents and agents that protect, serve and save lives.

What else is new? As much as possible not wanting to blog about myself.

Recently been recording my own BP and it's now down to 124/78. WOW!

This what my family doctor wants to know and what Dr. Potts wants to see happening and everything will be in stabilized situation. Thank God!🙏

Thanksgiving

 AUTUMN SEASON. It's Thanksgiving Day in Canada. I don't feel it anymore but usually for the past 31 years of my life in Canada, our family Thanksgiving is celebrated with my family and my husband's family, in their home as we shared the biggest butterball turkey, cranberry sauce and whole lot of stuffing, green peas, mashed potatoes, vegges, salad, shrimps and crabs. My Mother-in-law had crabs for me because I don't eat turkey. Then we shared fruit salads and their most welcomed Norwegian layer cake that she baked together with my sister-in law. She's really that good to me, to my children. husband

 whom she spoiled and had given so much importance however she's no longer with us. 

Our THANKSGIVING Day recently is celebrated with just my family, with special butterball turkey, sea foods,linguini or rotini pasta, mashed potatoes, vegetable  salad, fruit salad, However, because I am still staying here at the hospital I don't know if my family will celebrate it. They should, They have a life to live and enjoy and I must survive to live longer. GOD is with me everyday.🙏💓 I have a complete troop of health care support in this hospital: kidney doctor, nurses,dialysis technicians, med techs who keep track of the blood work, X Ray technicians, port mobility porters who take me to every ward for the X Ray and Dialysis. Everyone here are doing so great with their jobs. They make sure that I'm taking my meds everyday on every hour even at night they have to wake me up to record and monitor tor my vital signs, blood work, they also check my weight. Aren't they so good and kind? I.m forever grateful thankful for their health care support. They are truly amazing!👍🙋🙏

So even if I'm sick and here at the hospital I must greet everybody HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY! It is the once a year celebration of great agricultural harvest and the wildfires and other natural calamities and disaster had proven its great impact and yet so many of us are still alive, had survive the very test of times.

Why Me?

 Finally, I could blog once again. Thank God! It's been several days I was out of blogging due to certain health problems that need to be assessed right away and taken care of. I should have done that long time ago and then well, I hope it's not too late.

It's gonna be a very long story to reveal something like this but maybe let me have this on confidential matter for now.

At least I'm back blogging once again after that frightening situation that almost shocked me to the inner core. I couldn't believe it at first how that happened to me and asking myself "why me?" Why me??? It's very unfair! 

Why I became a target? 

How the hell that happened?

What is wrong? What did I do to deserve this?

Anyway, GOD is still with me along the way that's why I am still alive and trying to survive.

I wish to go on and on blogging, writing to my heart's desire and still be active in the blogging community. I wish I can go home for Thanksgiving Day and join my dear family who are anxious for me to return home. I don't know for sure when my doctor will allow me to go back home. It's gonna be a long waiting game as in suspense.

Changing The Course Of HISTORY

 My apology for not being updated on my blogs. Reason for this is the feeling of burnout and I'm just human not superhuman. I get so tired easily now. Think that when you are over age 50, something starts to fall apart... lol. HEY IT's AUTUMN.

On being 60, old but not out yet! Well, I'm trying to force myself in blogging. Trying hard now. Unlike before when everything seems so smooth and so fast and so quick when it comes to thinking, analyzing, visualizing and providing new solutions, new tricks and new gimmicks. It's different now when at old age there are too many barriers, too many hindrances and too many ups and downs and too many distractions such as health worries, anxiety, day to day activity that needs to be deal with  right away but cannot have the desired expectations. It's different now as mobility also the problem. Anyway, I am not alone. So many of us are having the same problems. 

The political arena in Canada is at the "world stage." Crazy right? It's like Canada wants to be in the world's map for something outrageous. Not the Canada you wished it was once before. I want to add up some "craziness" but what good it will do to make things right? Apology here and there and mistakes being committed and forgiveness being asked again and again until one by one they have to resign. There are shameful and embarrassing acts that's why they quit their jobs and some cannot quit and continue to work after every apology. I don't know for sure if that's for the book of wrong history or for the purpose of just controversial news of graft and corruption or just that they are just bullshitting or pissed off with each other. Some people got nothing better to do. It's either to shutdown, lose faces and or change the course of history.

While the rest of the world are problematic on their day to day survival. 

How to survive? 

Have you seen the movie GREENLAND? It's the latest movie of the action star Gerard Butler (actor, Olympus Has Fallen, London Has Fallen, and other blockbuster movies). It's a riveting movie of families trying to survive when asteroids started falling from the sky and causing massive earth's destruction. It's similar to the movie "Deep Impact."  

What Greenland has to do with the whole story? What's the relevance?

Life goes on!

 It feels like autumn season has set in this morning, cloudy and hazy sky. Still dark at 8 AM and it's only 15 Celsius but muggy. It's not that cold. Weird right?

I looked at the news on our TV and there the news about volcanic eruption in Kiluea in Hawaii. Really? Again? How many toxic fumes we have to suffer inhaling and breathing in our lifetime? No wonder too many people have respiratory problems. The wildfires in BC are still a ravishing national disaster and to add volcanic eruption even if Hawaii island is located in the Pacific region as in too far away from Canada? The air, the wind carry any molecules no matter how far a location is. If you live on planet earth and the major calamities and disaster are within earth the inhabitants of the earth are definitely affected. If you live in another planet maybe you are not affected by any problems outside of your comfort zone or you are just in denial. A lot of people are in denial, great in pretending that everything's okay but not okay. 

Anyway, life goes on... whether you like it or not.

TV, TV Series, Shows & Movies

 CONGRATULATIONS TEAM CANADA for winning the Bronze title in FIBA held in Manila, Philippines. At least! It was Germany who won the Gold and Serbia for Silver. 

Who knows, maybe next time Canada will win the GOLD not only on FIBA but on the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France. Yey!! Hope so.

Congrats NOVAK DJOKOVIC for winning the 24th Grandslam US OPEN in NY. 24 is just a very lucky number eh?

Yup, we've been watching TV almost everyday. Every popular shows such as Big Brother, next will be Survivor and tonight will be the continuation of THE WALKING DEAD Saga in Paris, France. How the character actor Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) ever lead to Paris from Georgia? How? How the film or the story unfolds that landed him to Paris in apocalyptic chaotic world and why only him? What happened to the rest of the cast in the WALKING DEAD original story? Hmm, becomes complicated and interesting as the new setting and new cast of characters are introduced. 

Recently watched movies such as:

DON'T SPEAK - horror, suspense, mystery thriller. If you like watching aliens this movie will terrify you to the edge of your seat.

MOONFALL - suspense, science fiction movie, light comedy, drama. If you want to know more about AI or Artificial Intelligence this is the movie that makes you think twice if the moon is just a great cover up to the vacuum of space. 

MORBIUS - science fiction movie based on a crippled genius who experimented on a special serum extracted from the blood and dna of bat caves and the result is fatally a distortion and evolution of a gargoyle monster/vampire syndrome.

Wildfires in BC continues. Some people already returned home to Yellowknife from Alberta's evacuation center.

Only IF

 The weather temp drastically dropped from over 25 C to only 12 Celsius last night. However this morning the temperature is once again warmer and bit muggy because of humidity. Wildfires still bother the interior part of BC and some wildfires are still uncontrollable. I don't know when those wildfires will stop from spreading. Maybe if there will be a one week rainstorm or at least when autumn comes naturally as it is and or the first snow fall could eventually stop the wildfires once and for all.

My son finally came home from his two week travel vacation from Japan. He was there to relax, enjoy special moments, visit famous majestic spots before he returned to uni and his work. My husband thought he traveled all by himself not with his friends because he's to meet a gf but we don't really know for sure. I think he likes Japanese girl. All I remember when he was a teenager and his type of girl is like that of "Hannah Montana." You know Miley Cyrus! Oopsi... Nothing's wrong with Hannah, she's beautiful, smart and talented. But I think my son really prefers Japanese girl... the cute ones.

Almost everyone's having vacation away from Canada. I wish can go for a vacation too. My sister and her family are in the Philippines and had celebrated my parents 70th wedding anniversary in the province. Some people can go to anywhere, everywhere as if its way too easy for them eh? Not for me anyway. It is not that easy for me to go away and spend and calculate on expenditures. A vacation is always about money. It starts with air fare + daily  expenses + shopping $ + hotel fare+ food+ gifts & miscellaneous = $5,000 to $10,000  would be the total expenditures if ever. 

Thinking about the total exp. is like hitting your head with  a hammer. Now you wonder why not too many go for vacation? Well only if you have enough savings or if you would like to max out your credit cards. Some people do that. So maybe have to win the lottery so that I can go for a vacation anywhere, everywhere where money can afford almost anything and everything.

From Boring To Interesting

 I fell asleep watching that movie Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. It is a low budget move and don't even know who the actors are. I watched it out of curiosity but truth is it is a real boring movie. The story happened in Brazil. However, the scenery is nothing but Brazil. I think it was produced somewhere in the US not Brazil. I didn't bother finishing the movie nor what happened at the end of the movie, it doesn't matter. Boring. 

Anyway, another movie is much much better and if ever it was longer than the previous movie we watched but because it is a Tom Holland- Mark Wahlberg movie > UNCHARTERED. It is an action-adventure movie, of two life-long friends who are adventurous, ambitious and too clever for their works as treasure hunters. Sully (Mark Wahlberg) & Nathan Drake (Tom Holland - Spiderman) never disappoint their fans. I think an interesting sequel would best reward their talented escapade as the next "Indiana Jones duo."

Growth Of Population Is An Explosion

 How time flies...kind of too slow for those who wait. 

I know it's already September 2023! What a life, so slow. It's not autumn yet and it is hot and humid. BC 's not a place to be idle with but with the high extreme humidity and toxic air that surround us we need to pray for early autumn or at least have a storm in our province because just a simple rain wont do much good for the burning forest.

Year 2023 is the worst so far when it comes to climate crisis of wildfires in succession as if its a revelation of signal flares or codes.

I wish new news will eventually change or it could be a psychologically infused outcome when everyone thinks the same. We have to control wildfires by not promoting them or stop newscasting about it. Hmm, how could it be? Because the wildfires could be a forced deliberate act not just  a sudden spark caused by lightning. You have to be suspicious. It's not about paranoia. lol. There's nothing like wildfires everyday caused by lightning strikes, eh? Wow! You can be hit by lightning as in one in a million or once in a million if you are lucky. Burning of the forest due to clearing is somehow another process of how those developers are doing it strategically blaming lightning the cause of the wildfires. Drone investigators had witnessed so many of those in the act of actual burning the forest for real. Even the greenbelt area are being used now for community development and it became controversial issue. It's just that the population is growing at rapid fast pace and you have no other choice but to provide shelters for the homeless. What is beneficial or that benefit the whole society and for the common good. The pandemic or sudden influx of the rapid growth of population is certainly one of a kind "pandemic." You thought the pandemic is decreasing a population by ten folds but actually its a multiplication sort of. We are in a very weird wild world now.

Undefeated Aliens

 It wont be long and it's back to school, college and university for students in Canada. Their long vacation would be over! Long tedious and worry-some vacation of inhaling the hazy smokes and toxic polluted air caused by so many hundreds of wildfires

I don't know why wildfires became the notorious almost natural calamity disaster here in Canada and you can blame lightning strikes are the cause of such wildfires? Hard to believe it. It could be human negligence or could be "planned burning of fossil fuels?" Or it's a conspiracy theory?

There's that burning question of providing a symbolic sign of alien encounter and that triggers wildfires in succession code. LOL. I am not so sure about such code. Maybe ask SETI about it. Do you believe in aliens?

Aliens are probably here on Earth long before ancient civilization had its beginning. We are not alone. Maybe they are the spirits that we don't see but they can see us. Invisibility and divisibility are their most valuable asset. Just like that, hard to defeat almost always winning.

 

 

Episodes

 It was superhot yesterday with 30 degrees Celsius temperature and that was suffocating to the core. Hot and humid and shortness of breath is prevalent most of the time. I first thought I would passed out due to heat exhaustion but only suffered nausea. Yup throwing up like crazy! I'm not used to a temperature of over 24 Celsius. I have to be in a room temperature of 15 degrees Celsius to breathe fairly well. Too bad that we don't have A/C in our home only two electric fans. In previous homes air conditioners were available but not in this current house (townhouse/apartment - a sixplex) we are staying. This area is the hottest area in this city and the oldest part, adjacent to an elementary school, high school and middle school. Also walking distance to the hospital. That's what it is. We moved here in this area because it is closer to the hospital and my husband had his first operation and many hospital visits that he would rather have easy access to emergency. When you are getting older and sickly, hospital should be just within your reach. 

So, yesterday while waiting for our order of crabs we just decided to watch episodes of SEAL TEAM. The action/drama series about six US NAVY SEAL Bravo Team under Masterchief Jason Hayes. When the SEAL TEAM moved to Paramount + we missed so much of the rest of the episodes. Ten episodes of heartbreaking, gut-wrenching moments! What happened to Clay Spenser is very unfair! He suffered so much in those episodes from being victim of an ambush, leg amputation then PTSD and then being a mentor to mediator only to just lose his life from a stupid reckless trigger-happy security guard whose so quick to kill without remorse. UNFAIR STORY. Unfair approach to certain situation. 

 

I'm not sure whether that's the end of the SEAL TEAM series when Jason Hayes received the honorary Navy Cross for his heroism in which should not only Jason but the whole team should receive as it was a team effort. Anyway, guilt felt Jason for the demise of Clay Spenser that he actually acknowledged Clay's heroism in previous operations. Later on Jason Hayes admitted in front of his superiors his own personal account as suffering from PTSD, then followed by Rey who happened to be in the same process of coming to terms as he suffered from all the torture and defeat at the hands of their enemies. PTSD is real. It is a life long physical and psychological trauma!

 NOTE: SPENCER HOUSE Rehab for Veterans was created to honor Clay Spencer and all veterans who happened to be in the same situation of rehabilitating themselves to normalcy to keep in check with their mental and physical well being for their own good.

Don't worry folks! Max Thieriot (Clay Spencer) still can be seen in his latest television series FIRE COUNTRY. He's no longer a SEAL TEAM guy but a firefighter. Don't know for sure if you'll like the story because once again he is seen as "against all odds" again to bring out dramatic scenes on his part. Always been the wrongly accused. The writer should at least give him the credit that he is the main actor and he is the lead but because he is one of the executive producers so maybe he opted to be in that kind of  script.

 

Fresh Fruits

 

Tropical fruits are in much abundance during summer months and that's why having them is such a delightful treats. I like the fresh watermelons especially the seedless sweet kind. Husband also bought cantaloupes whenever there are watermelons in the supermarket. My daughter don't care much about cantaloupes nor watermelon, she would rather choose pineapple for dessert.

Nothing's wrong with fruits. They are healthy foods. Fruits contain lots of vitamins and help in the digestion process.

Recently, I am into eating plums, peaches, cherries and nectarines. I don't care much about those fruits before but certainly there comes a time when fruits are just part of the normal dietary nutrition at home.

It wont be long when grapes, pears, apples and other autumn fruits are ready for harvest by mid September to October. Pears are one of my favorite fruits more than apples.

War Zone?

 IT TAKES A VILLAGE...

Usually is takes the whole village to control and put off fires or wildfires and once you abandoned a place and just let the wildfire spread then nothing you can do about it. However, knowing how some diligent, devoted firefighters do their job even risking their own lives to save and protect homes and other structures from being destroyed and ravaged by fire as their effort proven to be more of a success rather than failure. Just that there are certain places in this  world where wildfires are just raging inferno that  cause so much havoc and devastation at rapid fast. There's nothing that nothing you can do when mother nature takes it course. .. as wrath of hell.

With the on and off, out control wildfires and about to start wildfires... when will it stop, really? How the hell that BC and Alberta became the "hottest" spot for wildfires? It was after year 2010 when it all began. The global climate change and the inconvenient truth that the world is getting warmer. Environmentalists were going gaga about climate change rallying and doing their protest. Pulp mills and saw mills were then closed and shut down for their own good before that and they want more than zero carbon emission which is crucial to mankind. Carbon is everywhere! What are they talking about?

Anyway, what happened or happening with all the wildfires seem suspicious isn't it? But you know lightning s always the culprit as they said the cause, maybe or maybe not. To see is to believe. It's just that when you abandon a place of fire you let the fire spreads and would it be better to just state that they are abandoned because it's a WAR ZONE?

Feels like it's war. Looks like WAR.

WAR ON WILDFIRES.

Inner Sanctum

 TO SEE IS TO BELIEVE.

Long time ago...when there's wildfire in the neighborhood, a firetruck and its firefighters arrived at the scene of fire almost right immediately to put off the fire and neighbors helped also put off the fire by using their water hoses and or buckets filled with water. It is a neighborhood watch that also see, serve and protect livelihood to secure tenancy in a certain village, town or city. That's the mental preparation for emergency in urban community.

However, the situation is different in most places in Canada. How that happened? I myself is confused just like you. There's no wildfire, no smoke just lingering foggy situation and people are being asked to evacuate from their homes. The smoke and wildfires are from miles away, in the forest and group of people are asked to leave their community for evacuation. I don't know, maybe the authority thought it's better to evacuate before wildfire arrives or before the fire spreads rapidly and get trap from all the smokes. Question of where to house the evacuees? Are they getting free housing and all the needs, hope so. Maybe those newly built condominiums are ready for occupancy eh? Nice. I hope they can afford the high cost of living in the next cities where they are to evacuate. Too many homeless people now that finding vacancy from rental homes is futile. Then with millions of new immigrants looking for work and homes? Wow! Crucial. It's a mess out there. Do you have tide?

I'm not in the area of smoke & wildfires but high heat and extreme humidity can be exhausting and can cause dehydration and death. I hope drones could help show or feature what location has wildfires and how fast would the spread would be or just that there are so many people living off the grid in the woods or forest and their camping inside deep in the forest are causing the panic stricken of what could come out from such kind of shelter. We wont know. BC or British Columbia is a cordillera of massive mountain ranges almost like the Amazons and you'll never know of what's deep inside it until you comb the whole entire geographical location. It's "cordillera!" It is part of the ring of fire.

Anyway, what else is new?

You Are Not Alone

 Spoiler alert: As if adding insult to injury.

When you think that you are happy and without problem, somewhere somebody out there tried so hard to include you in their problems. The conflict gets bigger and complicated. Sometimes part of it was the manipulation, manipulative acts of those wicked, evil humans who are unhappy about themselves. Their unhappiness they have to share with you so that somehow you feel the burden, the guilt that they are not alone. They wont be alone in their suffering.

To think that who are the victims to the suffering are those who struggle to be happy despite of the many hurt, pain and obstacles. 

You are not alone...

Why sharing those suffering could help and wont help? What to do and not to do? Approach-avoidance conflict. Ignore the physical, mental and psychological complications? The advantage and disadvantage of such struggles and suffering is too much to bear. 

Maybe religion could help for the faithful thus only if you believe and have faith and if you believe in miracles. I don't have to be dramatic. Who cares? Everyone has a problem and almost everyone is sick of something. Some people knew how to hide and be strong not to be a burden to others. TAKE CARE!🙏 GOD BLESS EVERYBODY!

Strive To Be Happy

 It's drizzling today so it's a bit cooler at 18 Celsius but not really that coolest enough for me. lol. I would be happy if it its down to at least 10 Celsius to 14 degrees Celsius. 

If there's smoke there's fire and that's what happened in the interior of BC and massive amount of people gather where the smokes are... wtf and wth???? LOL. There was a music festival and it was cancelled according to the news. 

Anyway, only few weeks of vacation for students and vacationers because first week of September is back to schools and university for Canadians. It's okay, only the 9th of August, you have enough time and days for your staycation of choice.

Well happy for those individuals or group of people who can have the luxury to go where they can spend their holidays in style in the best resorts ever on the best scenic or panoramic views where money and financial rewards at its finest. Work hard and spend lavishly and work hard again. That's life. Nobody's a one day millionaire only the next day, you have to borrow or loan or make amends? I don't know. Life's hard for so many of us. 

With the thousands of workers being terminated everyday and thousands of people to millions of people complaining about high cost of living...don't really know where those people are getting their extra sum of money or what kind of jobs they had. But maybe they are truly rich or wealthy and they like to splurge on their wealth. Good for them. Do it while you have the time and money. Do it while you still have time to enjoy it otherwise, stay at the convenience of your home and be happy the way it is. Be contented and strive to be happy with what you have. 

Me? I'm happy watching too many shark movies: SHARK BAIT, SWIM, SHARK ATTACK, MEGALODON RISING, In To The Blue,  SHARKNADO, Shark Encounters of the Third Kind. OMG!!!! A lot of vicious sharks.

Know what? I'm craving for fresh crabs and herring!

Movie to watch for: THE LAST VOYAGE OF THE DEMETER

Water

 I think the hottest day was yesterday. It was 32 degrees Celsius and no amount of electric fan could alleviate the heat. High humidity. I advised my hubby to water-sprinkle the lawn outside and that at least could moisten the atmospheric situation. However, watering the lawn nowadays is prohibited as in water conservation is being implemented in our city. Once every other day is supposedly the practical way but no longer applies. The water is so precious now that every household is allowed to sprinkle their lawn once every week. No wonder the lawns, and vegetation in our neighborhood are getting tinder dry. Our lawn turf is still green with few streaks of brown-yellow spots. It's okay there's nothing we can do with restriction especially when water is involve. 

Did you hear about water in Canada will be on "metered" billing in the future? For what and why?

I remember way back when we first moved to Fort McKinley and how my family built our first family home and how we love being there because of the abundance of acacia trees, the lush green vegetation, the freshness of the air, the breeze freely flowing and the houses built like rows in perfect order arrangement following strict regulations about building requirements as in military ordinance, water flows freely from the faucet to the shower heads. Water is in abundance. Years passed by...just within six years suddenly water became hot commodity and water not flowing anymore in those pipelines and that caused so much chaotic and conflict. The population of people and new infrastructures within that area caused the restriction in the water system and the only possible solution is the ration of water. There are certain schedule or time schedule where certain designated areas where homes are allowed to store water for their drinking. washing, and how they want their water is used. Would you believe such process will happen when you are regularly paying for water and you don't get the right amount? 

In a country where water is in abundance and wonder why water is restricted wonder why the cause of such restriction? 

How water is stored? How water is accumulated through the water reservoir, down to the many bodies of water: ocean, seas, river, lakes, canals, bays, to the streams to the ponds. Water evaporates and turn into air (oxygen), there will be precipitation... The evaporation and condensation and all the chemical process lead to positive and negative energy in the sky in the atmosphere suddenly thunder and lightning strikes... downpour happened like miracle and its raining once again. The heavy rain became raging storm and hurricane and there's so much water flooding the whole earth. And you think there's no water. There is so much water, the only problem is how you can turn dirty rain water into safe drinking water for everyone to be happy about.

BIG FISH & Big Fat Cash Cow

 Is it true that the METAVerse, Google & Facebook wont be carrying any news from Canada because of the legal actions imposed or ban whatever included in the Bill C 18. I don't really know what the complete story about it as they complicate things. Each one of them have reasons why and they are exercising their rights, so be it. You can still watch news on your TV channels for news and or websites intended for those news networks as in they really don't need to be carried by Facebook or any social networks. Besides, what do you miss from the news? Nothing.

It's all WILDFIRES! It's what the hell that wildfires always been the news happening in Canada.

The never stop, uncontrollable wildfires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there something that would change the course of time and the news? Wildfires in Canada for what and why? Because of lightning? Evacuation here and there and the population explosion never stop as in the population of migrants keep increasing because of wildfires? Something doesn't add up here. Something is very wrong with this kind of news. 

There are many homeless refugees on the streets of Ontario, Vancouver, and other big cities. I don't even know if they are true news or fake news or made up news as in fabricated to gain sympathy or just that one of those social experiments. 

Then suddenly wildfires got buried under the rubles of lies and flash floods happened and recently the legal separation of the PM Justin Trudeau and Sophie Gregoire was in the news. Because it was featured on instagram (?) and news channels on TV and internet also carried the news as controversial as it is because their almost perfect marriage of 18 years over. Really? I don't know. Is that really a true real news? It could be a political strategy.

In unity there is strength. In dis-unity one can survive. MATRIX.

Just like the indictment of former Pres. Donald Trump's for how many times he is being persecuted. OMG! He might become a hero and a saint. LOL. Don't persecute too much or prosecute that big fat guy...It might bite you in the ass. He's such a big fish, you know. Big fish and fat cash cow for politics. 

Global Warming or Global ThermoDynamics

 What's really the cause of  global warming on planet earth?

Do you think it's natural or man made? Could it be that the reason for global warming is the melting of massive amount of metals such as iron, steel, carbon, glass and plastic all these materials being used for building and constructions for all the infrastructure you bet the high heat imposed on such method or process of turning raw materials into what it become the result of what we are experiencing right now. 

Factories having to use extreme volume, high heat add up to the boiling temperature of the water in the ocean and other bodies of water. Volcanic activity and the sun's mighty rays and to include the extraction of gaseous substance... all of these provide the heatwave no one could ever expect that would be of concern until we passed out of oxygen in the atmosphere. I hope not.

An old movie once featured of such catastrophic explanation of what will happen if  uncontrollable global warming is felt. Movie 2012. The massive amount of pressure in the creation of gigantic sized mega vessels to survive the prophesied doomsday all along the doomsday was caused by the melting of steel, iron and all metals for the vessels. That's what it is. When all the minerals and composition of the soil, of the land was taken away there'll be soil erosion, earthquakes and floods. That the vessels or gigantic ships were  replacement for such land they enjoy to reside. Weird story. But who knows, maybe because the belief that the Earth is 70% water and 30% land so the inevitable path to exist and survive is the vessel that can carry millions of people. IF. Just in case that's the truth about the percentage of what the Earth is all about. 

Millions years ago. How old is the Earth depends on what is the latest percentage of water and latest percentage of land as of this writing? I don't know. The way how fast humans had accumulated garbage in just one day could create a mountain. If you know what I mean. Garbage are sorted out, recycled and some garbage just are waste and burned to ash. It is what it is and the burning of garbage volume to volume, tons per tons contributed to the global warming.

Planet Of The Apes

 You know the psychological deep impact of very depressing news in Canada can have a great toll in every human's physical and mental state but it seems the bad news never stop and to add depressing news... the Canadian female national soccer team had been defeated in the world stage in Australia. However, McIntosh, the 16 year old Canadian Olympic swimmer garnered medals in swimming and would be competing in next year's Olympic Games 2024 in France.

Good news. Bad news. The wildfires are always about bad news. 

It's almost like it is the year of wildfires and for what? After the long pandemic of 2020 to 2021to never ending pandemonium of the rumor mill of the population explosion and wonder why did the pandemic had helped population explosion in certain demographic area? That the wildfires can also add the population to exceed? It should be reduction or deduction but what is happening is addition and multiplication process is being revealed.

There is that mathematical problem going on. It's kind of mindboggling crazy! That the former  Immigration Minister is now the Minister of Housing and the irony to all of those who are now accepted in Canada by the millions will have the process of relocation. Whew! Yup, if there are millions of new immigrants, refugees, homeless people, add the tourists, evacuees from natural disasters brought on by Mother Nature (wildfires, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes) all these humans will have to search for new homes. Who can afford though? 

High inflation, the high cost of living still is the major problem in Canada, actually a CRISIS, it is a devastating extreme economic crisis felt by everyone, by everybody... 

But you know Canadians are good in showing "they can survive."

Wildfires are just part of the "planet of the apes" aping for more news just to spread the world over. Who believe these wildfires anymore? It's almost like the biggest joke ever.

Growing Old Is Mandatory

 Actually when I'm in the mood to cook I will cook the whole day as if there's a special feast and as if there is a competition to complete the day. Thus, only if I am in the best of mood and the special ingredients for such menu is available. Always take note of the availability of raw materials, the special ingredients to make and create special dishes, otherwise cooking and baking is just not a glamorous task at all. You get tired, frustrated, sweaty and greasy being the cook at the kitchen. 

Then the house smells food! It is what it is...You wished your home smells like fragrant of scented ylang-ylang or sweet jazmine but once all the spices of curry, onions and garlic blend it with the natural air  inside the home then the food smells also blends in with your body, clothes and everything inside the house even if there is exhaust fan or the doors and windows are open for ventilation. What more in an open  living room-kitchen style setting... 

Then you thought a backdoor barbecue grill would be appropriate at summer time only then to realize that you can no longer do that nor have a picnic bbq, camp fire nor an open bbq grill outside of your comfort zone because of the fire ban or the hazards of such due to many uncontrollable wildfires happening in BC, Alberta, and NS. 

So, cooking inside the house is safer of course. You can't go wrong with stove & oven inside your own home.

Deep frying  egg-rolls too easy on hot boiling cooking oil after all the chopping and slicing of the most important ingredients as stuffing for this very unique Eastern snack food. Too many stuffing: garlic, onions, spring onions cilantro, shrimps, cabbage, carrots, beansprout, ground pork. Chili sauce for dipping. Good enough.

Then we also have congee or lugaw. It would be so good if there's sprinkle of saffron but saffron is very expensive. Slices of ginger is a good alternative though for saffron.

Butternut squash? Looks like they are...

I was thinking of having them cooked with crabs and or shrimps with coconut milk.

However, seafoods are really very costly here in Canada.

I decided that it's better to just bake the butternut squash and this is the result: Cake

Not bad. It's really delicious according to my husband it's great with cinnamon and vanilla in it.

I don't know what to cook or bake next or whatever mood I will be happy, sad or just feeling mellow.

In a time period of neighbors who are experiencing uncertainty and discomfort and all the annoying bad news, the wrath of wildfires, and global boiling (not warming anymore) it's hard to concentrate on blogging. I first thought wont blog for a week because there are so many things that upset me. At least the husband's personal health problem (cardiac cathetherization procedure) already done and he's feeling better with the result but still has to take meds. I think that's a normal phase of life for the olds, just like you and me...old people! lol

 Why suddenly the weather pattern has changed yesterday? What happened? Did the fireworks and cloud-seeding effect had helped for the low precipitation? Or it's because it is closer to month of August and Autumn is fast approaching with a vengeance?

Too much wildfires not only in Canada but also in Greece. Their wildfires shown the evacuation of inhabitants in the island and had those thousands of tourists gathered in a gym. The extreme high heat has caused so much heatwave  above 40 degrees Celsius. The cause of fire in Greece is unknown to me but during ancient period of time, the cause of such ravishing wildfires are caused by volcanic activity. While wildfires in Canada are caused mostly by lightning strikes. You wonder how many lightnings are without storms. Usually ligthning strikes are followed by rainfall or it will rain however in those lightnings no rain had fallen whatsoever. So very strange indeed. Maybe they are ghost fires not wildfires like it is an invisible curtain just for cover to something inevitable like "graft and corruption." Who knows? Clear-cutting? Annihilation movie? The vanishing? The NAZI resurrection?

Well, I'm glad that it is cooler (15 C) today  than in the past from Springtime to days ago. My husband and I don't really like stress and pressure because we have hypertension.

However, there are problems other people had on us that we cannot control. Tuesday today and tomorrow is Wednesday. I hope it's a pleasant day today no matter what. Please let it cool down to 10 Celsius.

 Heard of the DEEPFAKE SCAM AD?

I wonder what kind of deep fake? So deep? lol. We knew that there are so many fakes, fakers, fraud and fraudsters out there. People you don't know, strangers trying to lure you into investing into their business or the crypto currency or sometimes bad guys selling you some odd stuff. But there are deepfakes that are almost real as in the the photos or images on the other side of the screen of your computer is somebody you know asking you to help them. Problems with money. They asked you to send money for them in remittances because they need it for emergency and turned out it was just one of those scams. 

Weird right?

About the deepfake scam told by newscaster who happened to be the person used to lure for the ad so that you can invest is one of those scams in the internet. BEWARE! The use of AI images of famous movie stars or television personality being used to attract people from investing your finances in them. 

Wonder why criminality is so common now more than ever?

It's because the standard of living in our time is super duper HIGH. High inflation. High cost of living and nobody can afford except those who are ? hmmm...who can afford the stratosphere high of living? When even those millionaires and billionaires have problem with tax evasion? They can't pay their taxes. Even University and College professors or teachers cannot afford to own houses. Renting a house one bedroom house could cost an average $2,000/month and utilities not included. Who are not bothered about the high cost of living are drug cartels and mj plantation owners. It seems like they never run out of money. 

I think the rest of the population will just join the adrenaline rush to just join AMAZING RACE and try those death defying stunts or be ALONE in the wilderness as in desperate times for desperate people and some depressed humans will just join the global climate activists and had free ride to jail time as in free board and lodging in prisons. 

A political reshuffle of the current administration in Canadian government hopefully will help change the economic downturn and maybe some smart people will eventually showed up and can perform their job properly and efficiently. How many reshuffle to make things right? A re-shuffle is not the only way. That those government representatives should have enough experience for the occupation and responsibility otherwise, the whole population need "new leadership" because it get so tiring and people are so fed up as in if Mother Nature is showing all the doom and gloom, it's time to replace a country's leader. You cannot be liberal all the time. Try BLUE CONSERVATIVE...  Ch-ch- Changes...

Movie Time

 Looked like I am not allowed to blog something that deals with my location or what could be that block my blog post? Weird or what...I AM NOT AFRAID to divulge my location. It's just that the robotic feature of my blogs in Google helped me become ANONYMOUS. Wow! Who's getting the credit of my work? It can't be Dan Brown. Aha- ahahahaha! J/K

Whatever. Getting clue less. lol.

What is there to blog now aside from the normal happenings. It's not always that I have to blog about the food we cooked and baked or what we eat just like those bloggers who keep blogging every food they ate or where restaurants and fast foods they'd visited and or many places they traveled.

A journey to the thousand worlds through movies...

I could blog again about the latest movie I watched recently. It was a Chinese movie starring Jackie Chan entitled DRAGON BLADE. It was an epic drama/action/adventure movie depicting how the ancient Romans and the Chinese Mongolians had met in the desert and how they had a truce and decided to build fortress after joined forces to fight against Tiberius. It was a great story of friendship, loyalty, patriotism, courage, valor and revenge. Total dramatic sequences and a lot of actions fighting scenes in the most remarkable way. You'll enjoy every minute watching this movie as in very entertaining to the core. 

Well, that's it for now. By the way, may I advise you guys not to do facetime all the time. The bluelight on your computer can do more harm to your eyes (vision) can cause glaucoma, cataract and worse of it all > blindness. Take care of your vision. Ciao.🙏

Bungee Jumping To Retrieve The Message

 Who the hell will go bungee jumping from the bridge just to retrieve a message and jump again if they can't see the message sign board hanging from the bridge? 

Well, that's what happened during the filming of the latest AMAZING RACE CANADA 2023 contest last Tuesday night's edition/episode (Whistler, BC - Pemberton's)

The message to be retrieved: WILL YOU MARRY ME?

All the bungee jumper contestants had to ask the holder of the Amazing Race cue card the same question and the holder has to answer. 

WEIRD right? That's why two contestants didn't follow the direction, didn't jump or bungee jump and decided to just ask for penalty. Pressure tactic. ? Next the wedding reception setting in a ranch. The two black guys once again decided to choose the penalty. It was not an elimination round so they were not booted off and they still are in the game to continue the race.

I don't know for sure  the contest rules and regulations but the question is sort of part of the game in the Amazing Race. You know for sure that some of the participants are risk-takers the way they obliged to bungee jump from the bridge. I don't know what else they are about to do in the next race but some of them are sky divers or parachutists so they defy gravity and had known to living the edge of adrenaline while the rest of them are sort of neophytes when it comes to action. Two pairs of contestants were already eliminated first were Eddie and his wife (they hate pancakes! LOL).

Palm Payment

 PALM PAYMENT: A Science-Fiction?

Heard about that paying for goods and services in the future would be using your palm only? A machine that scans your palm to pay for your bought items in department stores and supermarket. Wow! How convenient that could be eh? You don't need to use cash, debit card or credit cards. 

Too good to be true that this process of payment is now on trial in leading supermarket and stores in Canada and the US. It is experimental, not mandatory yet. You could try it if you want.

Some people were asked about it for the trial and they really obliged to find out how it works. However, there are few who are critic of such process or method of payment.

In Revelation (Holy Bible): stated that only with the 666 symbol or mark of the beast  on their foreheads are allowed to buy and sell or have the purchasing power. Sounds like a myth. Then in the movie IN TIME starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried, its on their arms showing digitalized number in digits about their life span in years and when they purchase any commodity the life span is deducted and they only have few years to live and when it reached to zero then it's their ultimate end and they died. How to increase your life span is knowing who is the mastermind and the inventor of such machine and that's how the story complicate things up.

Would you be willing paying for your goods and services through your palm? Before you say yes better investigate first on its advantage and disadvantage on your mental and physical healthwise nobody is smarter than machine or AI. Is the palm payment a government infused or endorsed method of payment? Are they to use verichip inside your palm so that it can be scanned? Is it safe? Too many million questions...

Thursday Rants

 So many things that happened lately despite of the hot weather we are experiencing as life continues to unfold one by one. My housework first priority such as cooking meals, housekeeping, laundry and ironing clothes. Husband's the only one who goes to supermarket shopping for groceries only the most important items such as food, soft-drinks, milk, cooking oil, bath soap and few essentials. He didn't bring the list of items I want him to purchase as it always...he gets in the supermarket and out right away not wanting to stay for an hour, not even for more than 30 minutes. He likes shopping by himself because he can control the purchase. Husband is a very frugal man. It's common knowledge that Canadian men are just like that. He's not a Filipino, not Asian he is true 100% Canadian. Canadian men are stingy! LOL. Ha ha! That's what some other people are saying. They save and protect their money $$$$ like its the only last money they have. I think its because they worked so hard before even reaching age 18 and so many of them even if they are born from well to do families, still they have to work earn a living and provide for their own education. It's the Canadian way. Americans do have the same life style. It's only in the Philippines where parents have to work so hard to give their kids the education they deserve but because that's the trend and its because children in the Philippines usually make a promise to their parents or sometimes it has something to do with pride and status quo. Education is like the "wealth" of every family. While other families think the real wealth is literally "financial stability" and the amount of money they have including properties: house & lot, jewelries,  or plantation or farm lands.

Daughter and I watched an action movie: PLANE starring the versatile actor Gerard Butler. If you like him in the movies: Olympus Has Fallen, London Has Fallen, etc. he's that good to be true in his latest flick PLANE. The story revolves around this Scottish pilot Torrance who co-pilot with a newbie HK assistant pilot aboard a small plane with 14 passengers. The plane had mechanical difficulty after being caught in severe extreme typhoon along the coast of Philippine archipelago (truth be told it was filmed in Puerto Rico according to the news). It seems like you know what will happen as in very predictable as they showed so much of the important scenes on trailer and that spoiled the movie but after watching the whole story of the movie, it made you think something is weird about the "crash." Is it really crash landing or it's a dangerous military mission? Well, it's just that a moral lesson that evil wont last and there's always somebody out there willing to fight and justice will always prevail.
