When it comes to mental health, why too many are depressed? Well it has something to do with your environment. It has something to do with socio-economic situation in certain demographic condition. Even the healthiest humans could suffer mental breakdown because of particular situations such as PTSD, life threatening illness, burnouts, catastrophic and calamities that is overwhelming when their livelihood suddenly been wiped out, lost and gone all at once. Also, there are prescriptions (drugs -medications) with adverse reactions or side effects that can cause hallucinations, delusions and other mental disabilities. Yup, SIDE EFFECTS OF PRESCRIBED MEDICINES BY DOCTORS!

Truth is, all medicines have side effects! That's why doctors should prescribe the best drugs or medication with less side effects. Before doctors can prescribe meds (medication) they should first make a correct diagnosis. No symptoms no diagnosis. Anybody who do not follow the protocols become CRIMINALS.

 Whenever you are asked HOW ARE YOU? Don't ever answer PRETTY GOOD! It's so lame. Those A-holes don't like "pretty good." They want to hear something that shock them. Know why? It is the most common reply that you have to change it to some other interesting words such as: Fine thank you, how about you? Or you could reply to that other person, " Not so bad! How about you? "Are you as bad as those kick-ass morons?" Opsi.

Sometimes, we are just in our mild mood of answering or replying other people, friends, or foes, sometimes those fakers. Instead of saying bad words you tend to just say, "pretty good" or just plain answer , "good." Or whatever! Is your life better than me then good for you. Here I am again and again giving you work to do so that you'll be employed for the rest of your life. There will be more like me because the toxic wildfires from last year could bring other thousands of people with chronic ailments. It is not only homeless people who are suffering from the cause of such wildfires. Group of people who usually filter the smoke from the food court. Yeah, I know who would believe that cigar smoking is really bad hazardous most especially in closed air-conditioned malls. If you worked in those smoke-filled food court 12 hours per day and you dine in and socialized there with your friends everyday take time to smell yourself and clothes. Second-hand smoking is toxic. You, not the smoker would be the victim of such chronic kidney disease! Harsh chemicals contributed to such factors especially if you are a clean freak. The use of chemicals in cleaning your homes, cleaning the oven, kitchen and bathrooms contributed to inhaling toxic air. Hey, add those foods you consumed. How those vegetables and fruits are grown and how much fertilizers are used including pesticides. Seafoods you love to eat only to find out they were harvested from toxic ocean full of rubbish. Include the water you drank where arsenic and  lead flows freely. 

Watch news on TV networks and read science magazines to know how toxic is your environment. How to find out if you are the target for elimination or genocide. Who are responsible for the MAID and doctor-assisted suicides? Who are the Doctor Death and Doctor Kavorkians in your community? And how to deal with those DEATH SQUAD? Only the NAZIS and NAZI SUPPORTERS are the supporters of doctor assisted suicides and death. Read WORLD  HISTORY for your own perusal.

What to do now? Just sit on your couch and do nothing? Of course not! That is not how life is because there are too many things to do such as annoy those fakers. Investigate their lives and compare yourself from their own lives. It's more like a statistics/logistics survey and what to gain from it? What Have You Done Lately?

 WTF! You could swear and swear again and again...

Why not? Have you been to your local supermarket? I couldn't believe the prices of all the products they are selling!! What the hell just happened?

Usually it's my husband who shop at the supermarket so when I happened to be there, in person browsing through the price of every products from cosmetics to shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, and bath soap OMG! Soaring high! Sorry high!!! Even candies and chocolates! The food are absolutely stratospheric very pricey. You bet those news reporters did their surveying in every store,grocery and supermarket. There is nothing affordable anymore. The clothes are expensive as usual including shoes. The price of everything has doubled and other items had quadrupled in price. What a surprise! There is nothing cheap anymore. What a sad, very sad moment of reality.

I don't know how those international students or new immigrants can afford the new standard of living here in Canada. They are probably millionaires in their own countries. If you are a millionaire in third world country, my only advice for you not to come here for your own sanity.

I live here in Canada for the past 30 years, the new Canada is not like this. The economy of Canada in the 90's is something you can be proud of. Seldom you hear about crime. No news network ever report any crime from happening in larger cities or provinces. People are polite, courteous and law abiding. Majority of people are happy not indulge in politics because everyone's busy about work and being contented about their work. You can't hear news about drug addiction nor suicides. Nowadays, everyday there's a news report of high inflation, housing crisis, high cost of food, gas, oil, and other prime commodities, crimes from stabbing to racism and terrorism assault, including assassination. News report of gangsters or gang violence perpetuated by group of women  and mass killing of innocent victims. Too much burden. We have enough of the burden. If its not politics the cause of the conflict...it is economics, mental health, burnout, PTSD. trauma, and return of pandemic. Chaos after chaos. 

Politicians having lamentation of what others are thinking of them and they cannot be silent. Then do the right thing. Do your work properly, efficiently, effectively and be smart. You are elected by the people and you must do your task it is not them who will do the task for you while you sit on your ass and wait for the result. 

 and tell me what have you done lately? Of course some of those who cannot understand were pissed of. Others are just busy being busy because BC is not a place to be idle with and they are still in search for Jesus. Then a giant sinkhole opens up in California and voila pre-historic television series LA BREA are back to its prime time season. 

I know... I know so many are pissed that the price of pull-ups and disposable diapers are down, very in demand now. In Economics: THE LAW OF SUPPLY & DEMAND >When the demand is high the price is low and when the price is high the demand is very low. Nobody's buying over priced commodity. The wise humans would rather go seek the convenience of FOOD BANK.

 Still dark outside and the snow on the ground outside hasn't melt yet except those routes frequently been driven by vehicles or walked on. It's okay, don't mind if there is visible snow outside as long as it is not slippery or bothersome and those people had sprinkled industrial salt on the ground. Today is Sunday a day to relax one more time. I used to do housework when I'm not doing any other things such as blogging, sewing, crafting rather craft, hmm what else to do anyway? Oh, watch tv-movies because I have a blog about FOREVER TV, NET & MOVIES including BOOKS. I read interesting books and make a thoughtful review of the story and the author of books.

My husband hasn't bought any fresh newly published book of famous writer/author Wilbur Smith. Wilbur Smith passed away already and that stopped my husband from purchasing his books. We have entire collection of his books when WS was still alive. We have Tom Clancy's books in the book case, including a collection of  Douglas Reeman's and Patrick O'Brian's. My husband likes novel about "sailing and adventures on the high seas, deep in the ocean. Remember the deeper the ocean, the uglier the fish? lol

He has collection of Books and I have collection of Nutcrackers. Not enough though.

So are we so shallow now?

I'm waiting for the next book of famous author Dan Brown and what would be that novel about? I hope it's a book about codes again. Some people I know love to decipher codes for fun. Codify it and we will crack the codes for everyone's satisfaction.

How To Change The Weather?

 It should be a fun time relaxing mode for the day, however I remember the next week appointment that made me feel uneasy and disappointed. So what is next prediction on  what will happen on that day? LOL. First to make sure that the weather in the next few days would be pleasant for most of us that would mean no power outage and no power grid whatsoever. Huh!? Who am I? 

What can the power of solemn fervent prayers do for most of us?

The power of prayers are similar to a group of atoms. 

Once those atoms are combined in  positive charges there is the result called fusion.

 Frigid cold today at negative 8 C. According to weather scientist today is the coldest temperature well so far, wait till the next days... next weeks to come. Winter season is up to March 18, 2024 & Spring time would be on the 19th of March 2024 which is the Vernal Equinox. You have to be reminded that it is only the month of January 2024. 

I keep hearing people having lamentation of bills to pay. I heard so much of those rantings and musings last year and there are more airing of such depressed grievances. Who wont be depressed? Have you heard the Conservative leader Hon. Pierre Poillievre's short speech on FB? He is the embodiment or personification of majority of Canadians who are burdened with the truth on how we the people are having problems with day to day cost of living. I think the only people who are not problematic about the bills, the high cost of gas, food supply, clothing, shoes, mortgage and rental housing,  are the millionaires and billionaires. Even workers who are earning 100,000/year have problems with their bills. 

Dito sa Canada pulos trabaho ng trabaho hanggang mamatay ka! Tatlong trabaho ang kailangan mo to feel contented and happy. Kung malakas ka! Eh wala namang talagang malakas dito kaya sakit ang reward mo for being hardworking. Yung mga naipon mong money sa gamot mo lang yan. Maghihirap ka rin dahil hindi lahat covered ng health care yan.

Taxation, the filing of income tax starts when you receive your T4 slips from your employer that too can be overwhelming for majority of employed people, well only if they have to pay income tax and when you do that means you earned so much money and you cannot pay because you spent too much during the holidays. That you have to blame yourself. Earn more then pay taxes! Pay GST & PST and pay carbon tax. Pay, pay, pay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS ALWAYS PAYING THE BILLS ON TIME THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE TO WORK. The only reason why some people looked richer than you are it's because they are maximizing the use of their credit cards. Baon din sila sa utang! Mayaman silang tingnan dahil sa utang. It's the truth of the matter. Ganun din sa US. Akala mo sa Canada lang yan. Yung iba magaling lang yan magtago. Pero sa US ang mga IRS agents para silang Humanity Bureau (watch humanity Bureau starring Nicholas Cage). The ending is something that you don't want to see,

For the retirees with fixed income, no tax to pay! Is that good? Not really. The Government should increase the retirees of their OAS & Pensions. Truth be told government officials would be praised for such action on the upgrade of OAS & Pension. They should do it now for they may benefit such act when they turned unemployed and retired. Consider this solution. Work for the benefit of true real Canadians born here in Canada before its too late. Ganun din ang patakaran ng Philippine Government sa mga tutuong Filipinos. Sa tutuo lang karamihan ng mga maybahay sa Pilipinas ay mga taal or tubong Filipinos sila at binabayaran lang nila yung property tax yearly. Sana ganun din dito sa Canada, free lot for housing then let the people built their own house. May Freeland nga pero sa surname lang yun. lol

Come to think of it... in Philippines group of people or let say a whole community was taken to a resettlement somewhere in remote island or somewhere in Talanay, or far far away from Fairview people were given free lot ( one lot for each family to settle down) that they have build their own house using their own money until they can build their own community, elect their own leaders and build their own structural form of "small government." That's how Makati started its own beginning. ONLY IN PHILIPPINES. Parang movie ni Nicole Kidman na "FAR & AWAY."

The high cost of living would be felt grimly once again because of the arising conflict in the Red Sea. My God! When you guys start acting like civilized adults? Adaptation To Four Seasons

 First thing in the morning had me pissed off because the AI Robot is acting so weird today. Don't know why when I am the one who is writing my own blog. It's not the AI,  because dude, I have a mind of my own and I am smarter than you are. Ha ha! If you think that you can dismantle us because you think you are smarter than us then you are wrong. FGS!

Do not mess up with me AI. You wont win against me. I am warning you right now.

Okay, back to my blogging. That's one thing is wrong with the Blog World in the world of blogging and that AI story of Elon had so many of us wondering what an AI could do. The AI are hackers! The AI are thieves. It's an artificial intelligence powered by shadowy whodunit.

Forecast about weather condition varies differently in different parts of the world. Satellites up there in the stratosphere can predict the outcome of daily weather forecast. It is not only weather balloons that can do that "surveying and research in the sky." Remember the weather balloon from China blown away by the powerful winds to Canada and in the US territory? Well, how that happened? Probably through arctic blast. Or where magnetic poles carry the balloon with certain magnetic stuff in it. ? Hmm, just an opinion. I really don't know. SNL or Saturday Night Live show featured that stray weather balloon in a very humorous way.

Thursday today and the forecast said that it will snow at the island once again. Good enough for kids who love the snow but not good for the travelers and those who are driving their vehicles to work and to schools and university. So drive safely! Be always ready and be prepared. OMG! Did you know that I always inform people about this for the past 30 years since I arrived here in Canada.

I remember the hazards of snow on the roads and highways. My first experience of snowfall was when my husband and I were in Alaska and Stewart BC for the supervision loading of logs into a huge ship at the dock and after that incredible work suddenly snow started to fall. I was the happiest, first time to see snow on the ground. It's not really cold or maybe I was very excited jumping on the snow, touching the white snow on my bare hands. My husband watched me like I'm like a child wondering what I'm doing because I also sat on the snow and feeling weird like oh it was really soft. It's more like cotton candy. LOL. However, when we're about to go and driving slowly because of the traffic on the road. The snow had fallen so hard and the plowing of snow on the road was kind of slow. Not only that but because the snow on the road was even on the ice and snow on the river. That we have to follow the queue of vehicles on the narrow road or plunge on the river. The word is not even accurate as in river and route to the highway is at balance state full of snow. The scenery was almost like from another planet. It was all white, blinding white surrounding us. I felt uneasy and overwhelmed because the mountains, the trees, the roads, the river, the houses were all covered by snow. It was so shocking to have witnessed something like that. Warm inside our vehicle and I was wearing winter clothing but the bizarre scenery gave me goosebumps because it felt like almost a nightmare. 

Anyway, back in time I am so used to that kind of weather. I have to learn to adapt as in adaptation to four seasons in Canada. Actually we need the snow on the mountains and let the snow stayed there until springtime to summer for the reservoir of water comes summer time.

Ghosted?

 First snowfall in the year 2024 yesterday in Vancouver Island, B.C. Are we prepared and ready? Well, some people are ready and some are not. However, no matter how prepared you are when it comes to winter clothing the coldness is sometimes too cold for most of us. When the ground gets negative zero usually get snow and icy on the surface. Of course that's common sense as in think about your chest freezer at home. 

Heating is much appreciated at home and consider the kind of heating: hydro (electric) or gas. 15 C up to 22 C is required at home, depends how big is your home to keep the heat in balance within all the rooms in your home. Even your vehicles need heating when it gets cold outside when traveling during winter time. It's true you need your vehicles tuned up, equipped and winter snow-tire ready for better traction on the roads and highways.

I've been reading, browsing through the internet early morning wanting to know what else is new this time around. Hoping that there are new news aside from all the repeated news from last year. That somehow year 2024 is a brand new year brand new news and scope. You know journalists should provide us with NEW NEWS not left over from last year of 2023. No redundant news. No replays and no dumb news please.

Okay, the New Year's Day was breaking news of the 7.5 earthquake that struck the prefecture site in Japan. That was strong and brought tremors and fear for the Japanese people. Recently a magnitude of 4 jolted off the coast in Vancouver but nobody felt it. If its off the coast who would feel it?

The Golden Globe's award's night was memorable for the first Filipino-American comedian known as "Jokoy." I watched too many videos of Jokoy's performance and he is funny. Most of his jokes are relatable for most Filipinos. That's why maybe he is not that popular with "White people." I mean his jokes are not that funny for most "Whites." His jokes sometimes is about sarcasm based on true experience. What happened there in Golden Globe's pertaining to the joke aimed at popular singer Taylor Swift's somewhat sarcastic or rude? Not really. It's not a joke, it's the truth. 

"The difference between Golden Globe's and NFL, Taylor Swift had fewer camera shots." 

Why nobody laugh? NFL is a serious game in the US. 

Well, Taylor Swift's lucky to have been part of the comedy skit of Jokoy - the emcee that night for that very important award's night for Hollywood. Taylor Swift should have to be grateful. Jokoy could have just have his eyes focus on other most popular and most beautiful actresses on that event that special night such as Jodie Foster, Emma Stone, Selena Gomez,  Emily Blunt and other stunning actress. If you know what I mean. Jokoy should had chosen Emma Stone for the joke because Emma used to be SNL frequent guest. Darn it.

In retaliation: Sushi was ordered for the Hollywood stars in honor of Jokoy's Filipino heritage.

Wow! Who ordered the sushi? Ha ha! OMG! 👽😀 Is that funny or an insult? Jokoy was not mad about it but who ordered the sushi? Jokoy just informed them that he is Filipino and Filipinos cooked their own fish!

TRUTH IS >>> YOU THE HOLLYWOOD ELITES SHOULD BE THANKFUL THAT JOKOY ACCEPTED THAT GIG to entertain you and provide you the Challenging Monologue that nobody like famous Gervais and Chris Rock wont risk their career one more time on Golden Globe's. Take it like it's an OPPENHEIMER EFFECT.

But as you know, some comedians are "writers" of their own comedy and others are not. Some comedians have their own writers just like presidents having their own speechwriters. 

Then you asked if author of books have ghostwriters. Hmm... I think even the great ones have ghostwriters when their novels become very complicated.

 We have almost spring like weather at winter time and although it is a brand new year 2024  yet the past troubles of the past 2023 still linger in the airwaves. How to stop the wars when those wars keep adding up? Who should stop the wars and start the ceasefire once again? When it's not war and rumors of wars then its calamities and disaster. I think maybe it's time not to watch the news on our television, don't listen to the news on radio and stop reading news from newspapers and internet. We wont know there is war if we start to ignore about it. Ignore and avoid it. Is that the right solution?

First week of January 2024. You have a life of your own. People from all walks of life will go back to their jobs, to ordinary way of life to earn a living. Students will have to go back to schools and universities. The long Holidays are over! It's time to concentrate and focus on more important issues. Ignore the critic, the skeptics and atheists they got nothing to do but being unhappy critic, they should mind their own business and should focus on themselves and focus in their families but too late for them if they are divorced and mad over their crazy dysfunctional families. They should consult marriage counselors or therapists to augment or fix  their relationships. Anyway, not my business. Sorry. So sorry, it's not you,  this story has something to do with what I read in the tabloid.

The seniors, the retirees, the old people have to watch for their health and their fixed income. Hope and pray that God will prolong their lives and free from terminal illness. Believe in the "regeneration." There are many options available for us. Options to be happy, lovely and lively and be kind.
