It's now 4:10 pm and I feel so sleepy and tired. It's not me who drove our vehicle but I know now the feeling of those people who drives especially on rugged terrain, busy highways and on the fast lanes and I have my deep respect for their ability to function as professional drivers and their knowledge on abrupt situation that calls for attention. I'm only a passenger on a vehicle driven by my husband and from now on I wont bug him as in talking and or yapping too loudly when he is driving. The long drive from Vancouver Island to Calgary is more than 14 to 15 hours or less well duh, supposedly if its a continuous driving without stop. How can you not stop after 3-4 hours of long driving? Because a steady long driving for 3-5 hours without stopping could mean: you end up with gall stones or kidney stones or what else could you have from such bladder control? Then you must choose the stop station where you have to release your pee because unsanitized washrooms can lead to infection and whether you like it or not better be caution. Or bring your own lysol spray or clean wipes. Try Cottonelle because it's clean and safe. Clean your hands with antibacterial soap and water. You know cleanliness is next to godliness. What worse that could ever happened when you are not careful in driving? It will result to car crash or accident. Well, nothing bad happened, everything turned out so good and the journey was smooth and lively.
I must say I had the best summer vacation ever even if for such a short period of time. I brought 2 of my digital cameras: Canon and Sony. I know that on the way to our destination I will have so much fun taking photographs of the highways, mountains, valleys and several bodies of water in the form of ocean, river, lakes and creeks. The result of the photographs depend of course with the kind of weather in different areas and the amount of sunshine on such locations, however when it's foggy and misty then the pictures will eventually end up blurry and not good to look at. Photo means light and the more brighter the background then the pictures will surely end up superior when it comes to quality. My daughter brought her Canon digital camera, Tablet, and Nintendo GB enough for her to enjoy and get busy while on vacation. But is it really a vacation?
With all the multitudes of wildlife, mountains and rivers, the straight or spiral tunnels and bridges, farmlands, houses, lodges, buildings and cottages. How can you not enjoy the view, so majestic and sublime time passes by so swiftly. Then suddenly after few hours, I almost can't move my legs because you know what happened when movement is controlled and space inside the vehicle is limited then that hurts the most. Am I to suffer blood clot or my varicose veins will multiply? I hope not! Now I know why some people are suffering from certain illness because of their long driving trip to different provinces. Certain parts of their body, especially the legs (legs down to the feet and toes) suffered from gout, arthritis and rheumatism. The blood flow is cut off for a while of non-movements of legs for an hour. That could be the where the problem is. I felt and experienced what they endured during the 15 hours trip to Calgary and another 15 hours return from Calgary to Vancouver island. It takes someone or some group of people to experience the "happenings leading to ailments." So on your next travel, wear comfy shoes, sandals, slippers and comfy clothing.
What else you must know as form of suffering? Have you experienced HACE or High Altitude Cerebral Edema? The high elevation (mountainous, rugged edged terrains, up and down pathways) that lead us to experience of having clogged ears, being deaf for few minutes and yes, yawning helps. I experienced being deaf for 2 minutes or less then several hours later air pressure gets in and I was deaf again. It happened not only to me but every individual will experience air pockets and will make you deaf for few minutes only, but frequently as in several times. Opening the windows of the vehicle with windy air passing through is a reliever. I wonder as in curious to know what this experience may lead to young children especially with babies inside the vehicle? That could be devastating as in very traumatic. It could lead to indigestion and perhaps babies will cry incessantly. Be caution then. Loud crying will make you irritated or annoyed and driving will be affected. Who knows? You can stop and work on the problems and breathe fresh air. Better straighten your legs and let the blood flow in your veins, best of all RELAX!
FOCUS on what you could do best and enjoy the ride. For the pro-drivers, wishing a safe drive to the point of destination and safe return.
