Do you like LOVE NATURE? It's a new program on our TV Channel and features mostly about nature, habitat for animals and birds, the jungles, forest, bodies of water, etc, it's almost like the National Geographic magazine but it's on TV.
In that particular program, they featured magnificent winged creatures such as the quetzal. It was a resplendent quetzal that is native to Costa Rica.
Para syang ibong adarna. The bird's eating a green berry (looks like an olive). How that radiant bird managed to have that big berry on his beak down to his throat is unbelievably incredible. The rest of the scenes were focus on hummingbirds. Tiny bird creatures everywhere in that particular jungle and the photographers and cameramen are having so much fun and that includes me of course watching those birds from the comforts of our television screen.
Sure, the hummingbirds in Costa Rica are prettier and colorful than hummingbirds in other countries. Why? It's probably something to do with their source of food or whatever is there in their environment.
Some of the hummingbird species tend to camouflage themselves with what they eat and where they are nesting.
