Connection

 I'm sure you are familiar with the movie THE BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING. You know those circles of Greek families who migrated in the US and found common grounds on what made their families stick through thick & thin. It was quite awesome, too loud of a circle full of entertainers the GREEK WAY.

Then happened to watch the sequel of this movie with the same cast of characters plus with new younger stars to join the loud circle of friends and old families for the part 2. Toula has a beautiful daughter in her senior year in H.S. and the grandpa already wants her to find a boyfriend. You know same attitude old people say and do for their younger, close members of their family.

The whole story is just so-so simple life of families and clan whose lives intertwine with the family patriarch whose main objective is for the grand daughter to get married early and supposedly within their social class, should be Greek or from the Greek circle, known to their own family and clan. 

Actually, I enjoyed the story of this sequel except when the father of Toula received the letter from Ancestry.com that he was the direct descendant of Alexander The Great! The father was overwhelmed as he announced to his wedding guests, to the crowd that he is related to that homo. Ha ha! ATG is the first homo in History, did you know that? Then Toula's husband the teacher, asked her if she made that up (the letter) for her father. She did. Now, the disgusting part is did she made up those letters from those two university that her daughter was accepted in New York University and Northwestern University in Chicago? Well, who knows maybe the daughter is smart and she will be just like her mom and grandma who are strong women. Hey, they are GREEK. Sorority, fraternity had its beginning in Greece and the OLYMPIC GAMES had its beginning in ANCIENT GREECE. 

They should stop accessorizing themselves like as if they are members of the drag team. Sorry. No pun intended. I first thought Toula's mom is Mrs. Doubtfire! Sorry about that. VISION is getting blurry. I cannot be a sniper though. However, my sense of smell and sense of humor has doubled. I think have ESP. Aha ahahhahahah. Beware.

Not my business. GREAT CONNECTION seems to play a part in getting to University of choice by the richer and famous. For some people it is harder and harder to get in University, workplace, especially if you don't have connection even if you are a genius. No place of work for the geniuses. Why? Simply what matters in University is how much you can donate and your student's standing in SPORTS. What you can contribute in their University when it comes to their games of choice. Simply because the ACADEMICS has no relevance now in Education that worry and put anxiety on every educators and philosophers. How much can you GIVE? How much is for trade off? What's the DEAL? Somebody might offer something for FREE but it is a matter of GIVE & TAKE. Rather, it's a crazy EXCHANGE GIFT.

With the rising high demand in modern technology who cares who is behind the computer? The computer is such a reliable tool for communication and indispensable tool for all kinds of needs without the need to get into University or workplaces as in "physically" rather more like virtually. Kids nowadays are probably happy (or sad?) that their education is becoming virtual. What could be the psychological impact of virtual education? Hey, just look at MARK ZUCKERBERG and BILL GATES and the late STEVE JOBS fortunately they became billionaires because their education is based mostly on virtual powered by modern technology which now seen as powerful tech tools for kids everywhere although how long they will find out if they are blind or have cancer?

It is disturbing to know that babies being born are already suffering from different kind of cancer. There is nothing like that sort of malady or any type of cancer for newborns and children with cancer in the past, only in the past 10 years when suddenly the younger generation are suffering from blindness, cancer, and other diseases known only for old people. You know those common ailments for old people are now common ailments for younger ones.  I don't know it is an exaggeration of families having their toddlers wearing eyeglasses? That their toddlers are using retina tablet? It's not funny though. What the hell is that?  Anyway, some stories, any story needs an evaluation, double checking and that attitude of "believe it or not."

Yeah, believe it or not when buying the latest gadgets make sure you understand the consequences and the "name of the gadget" the brand name of such gadget. If the gadget or device has that certain specified term that gives you double checking what it really means then think again and again whether to buy it. Can't understand? If the gadget states that the camera or front rear camera has the app that recognize retina or iris scanning tech for security don't buy it. That's how fast to lose your vision. EVIL? OF COURSE IT IS EVIL. For God sake. OMG!

Anyway, everyone's going blind. I think we should have extra access to the dogs, the guardian dogs for the blinds.
