Tasks

 I was about to start sewing again then I noticed that the "foot pedal" was kind of slow when I pressed it with my foot. The foot pedal acts like a brake to move and stop the action of sewing machine. The modern sewing machine still needs the human arm/hand and foot and legs to function. It doesn't function without the human being's mind, arms and legs,  for sure. Because of this have to discontinue my task and leave it for another day.

 Sorry Freddie, I will postpone my task to sew a costume for you. OMG! Besides, you are that cranky when you see the tape measure. You think the tape measure is one of your toys. So Freddie went home? You know this cat just stayed at our home just for few minutes then he visits other cats in the neighborhood. He frequently visits the orange cat across the street. After the chat or two Freddie goes home to his owner who just lives in another house, walking distance from our home in the subdivision.

 And when I'm not busy this is the usual meal that I prepared and cooked for my family.  Spare ribs! Yup my family's favorite. I usually have all the ingredients in the roasting pan.

 Ingredients: 3 cloves of garlic,  1 big sized onion cut into 8 pcs., stalks of celery, carrots, peeled potatoes cut according to desired size, chunks of spare ribs, dash of salt, sprinkle of ground pepper, chili powder or sriracha sauce, mushrooms, 2 tbsp soy sauce. Add 2 cups of water and then cover the roasting pan and put inside the oven for 1 1/2 hour on 420 degrees C. or until the ribs are tender.

Note: Not all oven are created the same or equal. 420 degrees Celsius could be higher and hot for your oven's temperature. Try at least 410 degrees Celsius.

At winter time it's better to cook or roast any kind of food using the oven. To use the stove for deep frying, for stir-fry and frying any kind of food... the small exhaust fan cannot accommodate all the smoke and it's not good for the ventilation inside the house. To open  windows at winter time? Not good! That's why so many people just want to order their meals in the restaurant or fast food delivery is much appreciated during this time of the year. Now I know why in this city of only less than 40,000 people has more than hundreds of restaurants, fast foods and other eateries. Four Subways in this small city is kind of strange, and Chinese restaurants are everywhere. There are at least 4-5 Japanese restaurants and at least 3 Korean restaurants, then Tim Horton's has also 4 outlets for their customers. Pizza delivery branches have 5 to 6 outlets, Wow! The people in this city are not cooking!
