The Morning After

I wont stop at reading The Tiger's Prey book, however I have so many things to do like the preparation of our meals, lunch and dinner. Then I remember have three loads of laundry to be washed in our washing machine. Thank God for modern appliances because if I have to handwash our 3 loads then I will probably be there at the laundry room in 3 hours and to dry the clothes, towels, and linens then it will take days to dry. Simply we can't hang the clothes in the garage and outside is balmy cold and sometimes foggy.

This morning, it was already 8 am yet the situation looks as if it's only 5 am. It's cloudy and you know it's December so the weather is like fighting a sunny weather over cloudy day. There are signs of frost and the rooftops of houses everywhere have icing like majestic ginger bread houses. It's good to know that the streets are sprinkled with industrial salt. My husband is there at work and probably sprinkling salt on the surface of the grounds in those apartments under his care.

Freddie came at our doorstep before my husband left (before 8 am) but my husband didn't let him inside the house. We don't have any whiskas left for him to nibble because the orange cat and his brother cat also are being fed at the front porch. Anyway, better luck next time.

It's Monday, December 4, 2017. It's great to daydream and wish upon a star then reality sets in and to think positive and then negative? Do you like thunder and lightning?
