Peach Pies & Smoothies

 

I am not really a pie person. I don't like the taste of pies until had that peach pie from Overwaitea (Save On Foods). I mean their kind of pie is absolutely one of a kind. You can buy their peach pies warm enough, fresh from the oven. Second pie to be kept in the fridge for the next day.

Yummy good. Because it was baked perfectly and tasted so delicious, hubby bought 3 boxes of newly baked pies again the next day after the first pie was consumed.

Wouldn't it be nice if they can also bake buco pie or blueberry/coconut pie?

I know how to bake pies but you know the making of crust and pie cover is really time consuming and it never gets perfect. To buy already baked pies save time, effort and you don't mess up the counter. Besides, adding the price of ingredients, the dough, the electricity of baking just one pie? Enough, right? So it is economically better to buy already baked pies. Sometimes it is nice to appreciate other people's skills.

Then my kids have to appreciate the smoothies I made for them.
