One of the requirements for employment is GOOD HEALTH. Being healthy physically and mentally adults. Not just having higher education with diploma, higher skills and competitive skills and knowledge to the demands of the job category that is asked for by the employer.
If you have all the requirements and certified for the job but you are sick or with disability do you think you'll be hired? Absolutely not! That's the truth about it. Unless you owned the business!
TRUTH IS you can still be employed if you own the business! Self-employed or disability is a matter of ...depends of the kind and type of work on creativity or with the arts. Some physically disabled humans are mentally and psychologically intelligent enough to focus on their jobs.
It's different when you are injured at the place of work then the employer supply the needs for medical assistance and responsible for the employees medical and dental insurance.

It's also different in Paralympic Games when disability is not a hinder to their goal or ambition. However, those Paralympic athletes need extra care and support from health care workers, guides, and companions who will help them in the Games.
However, OLYMPIC GAMES set the trends on higher, faster, stronger aim in life that what they are after is EXCELLENCE & PERFECTION in chosen field of sports. The Olympic athletes must be physically, mentally and psychologically almost perfect to achieve their goals to compete.
