HIGH COST OF LIVING

 Opsi, almost about to reveal the secret in my new novel LOL. Darn it. So it's Groundhog Day and they call on the rodents to predict the weather and the early spring.

Weather forecast had it that Early Spring is in for BC. Double digits temp on Wednesday & Friday! Wow! Would you believe that?

Pauxutawney? Can you predict early spring? Six more weeks to Spring? Maybe follow the Calendar. March is when Spring Season  is just right. Then what happens is pollen will be all over the air. I hate pollen. People with allergy will be the first victim of Spring pollen.

What's new? HIGH COST OF LIVING still is the huge problem in Canada. It seems that no politician can solve that. Not Liberals nor the Conservatives. Whoever is in majority cannot solve the high cost of living. Can anybody lower the price or rent for housing? Before the pandemic, the rental cost of 3 bedroom with 1 1/2 bathrooms with garage and workshop and yard with garden was only $1,500 per month. After the pandemic, those rental homes had catapulted to $2,500 - $3,000 per month. Doubled. 

So many Seniors looking for affordable housing. There are no available housing for old people seniors aged 65 to 80 years of age. Old people rely on their monthly pensions and there is no affordable housing, apartments for them. Add the high cost of food in the supermarket and convenience stores.

CANADA is home to majority of seniors. There are more seniors or old people than young people in Canada and yet the Government do not make heir lives easy and convenient. How and why? They worked hard during their heydays for Canada. Many old people in the Parliament. Why let old people struggle day after day to high cost of living.

HIGH COST OF LIVING is always a subject of debate in the House of common for such a very long time, for such very long years.

 They tried to increase wage per hour but didn't really help. Some workers lose their jobs because some employers cannot afford the wage increase. They lose their jobs because of the US TARIFFS.

What solution that really works? The Prime Minister Mark Carney's solution? His solution against tariff is to trade with other countries who are also against greedy tariffs from USA. Canada can no longer rely with just one country to save Canada's economy.

BE FRUGAL. LIVE SIMPLE LIFE. Yeah some people do that. But housing still is not affordable for some people. They have to pay their mortgage or rent per month to month basis and what happens, their food supply suffers. Now what? Think you are in World War II and you are living in a world of NAZI Concentration Camp maybe that would help. You know like in a "simulation scenario." Be like Anne Frank hiding in the attic writing a diary." Be a Jewish in a concentration camp starving for food. Huh! Not funny though however that's what some people feels nowadays.

Add those people who are rallying in Canada because their original country is at war. How many wars they had? How many wars should young Canadians have to offer themselves as sacrifices? If your country of origin is at war...go back home to your own country and make war there. You don't hide in another country looking like radical and brave. Go back home in your country of origin and fight there!! And who instigated the insurrection but Trump.Trump told them to keep on fighting and thus 3,000 dead Iranians the result of such massacre. Weird. 

Somebody said, (she's a nurse) ...."mind your own business!" that's what happened during WWII and the first casualty during that war were nurses and doctors!! One American nurse hanged herself in the hospital and her ghost lingers there until that hospital no longer exist and her ghost now lingers in the American Cemetery. Ghosts are restless spirits you know.
