Home the next day! June 25, 2017. It was 17 1/2 hours long driving from Calgary to Vancouver island. The long journey includes frequent stops due to the 4 land highway constructions from Calgary to Kamloops, frequent stops for gas, snacks, lunch, dinner and rush to the washrooms. The highway was a busy path for travelers that the Public Works and Transportation had this plan for four-way land a great of help for commuters. Maybe two years or four years from now, the highway construction will be finished and there'll be no problem whatsoever for drivers and passengers.
Coming home with this gorgeous majestic sunset at the island was truly mesmerizing. And coming back home to our home sweet home, on our bed with our favorite beddings and comforters? OMG! It was so HOT! The house really needs air-conditioning unit.
The weather temperature is unbelievable! It was unbearable! Shocking! How could it be so hot? I had a shower right away. Two showers in one day! It would be nice to have a swimming pool eh? My daughter and I watched TV until 12 midnight and our drivers: husband and son were asleep already, probably too tired to be awake at late hours however I can't sleep due to the high temperature. Mercury Rising! Instead I did my laundry, two loads. Watched the replay of "Fear The Walking Dead" at AMC Channel. The episode of this apocalyptic series had Madison and Troy in search for the helicopter and hoping that somehow Travis is alive. Troy almost killed Madison but he didn't and walked away. There was that "ravishing fire" somebody burned the house down in the ranch. Alicia jumped on the water to refresh herself. I don't know if that's lake or river. I fell asleep without finishing the series. ZZzzzzzzzzzz.
Until now, July 1, 2017 the temperature is rising fast. I hope and pray there will be no forest fire and all we could pray is the heaven's showers. Pray for low precipitation, cool down a bit or have a frequent bath or shower. Don't get dehydrated, drink glass of water or juice or any fluids.
HOME is where the heart is. Home is where I feel comfortable in my own shoes. Home is where I do my household work and feel that I really belong here. Home is where I have privacy and nobody tells me what to do because I have my own mind. Home is where I feel safe and secured and I do feel like I am at HOME already no matter what the weather is.
HOME is where my family lives and inter-act, where I have a loving, kind and great provider husband and loving, sweet, beautiful and handsome but annoying children. Home is where there is absolute happiness!
