In the movie 2012, humans (people of great importance to the government, the rich, wealthy of higher status quo, the scientists and physicists were saved) and animals species who survived the great calamities and disaster of epic proportion. "They" who survived and must survive in 2012 movie...
In the movie THE CORE, suddenly the Earth's core stop rotating and the earth's surface almost about to collapse, building, infrastructures including the steel bridges are melting and falling apart. Then leading scientists, astronauts and very important human beings were summoned to solve the problem. They were asked to unearth the problem at the inner core of the earth and before the end of the movie only two people remained aboard the special craft. Was Hillary Swank heartless in this movie when all the scientist died in this movie or they sacrificed themselves to solve the problem to save planet earth? Human error the cause of such malfunction or the planet is too heavy for the rotation of its axis? Uhm, what could be the real risk of a heavy planet?
Ewan! Movies lang yun. What is the real story of planet's rotation and revolution? For the humans to believe that the Earth is round not flat or whatever we learned from Science, Physics and Earth Science will only lead to non-stop or never-ending story.
What's the true population in numbers of the earth without including the deceased? If you can travel around the world in eighty days in the 1900's then the world is really small. Nowadays, you can travel around the world in less than eighty days because of modern vehicles.
