Genetic Testing Begins At The Time Of Birth

How old are you now? Are you old like me? I feel old at age 55. I look much younger than my age but that's okay. I once worked in a white populated workplace before with younger workers (in their 20's) and they thought I was the same age with them. Ha ha! Jokers! I wished!!

Anyway, let see the spin for today. I had that article about Genetic Testing for DISCOVER Magazine (July 2003 edition), it's anything about Science, Medicine and High Technology, had me reading it for sometime when I'm bored. Everything in that magazine is purely interesting and adds knowledge.
Just a single drop of blood taken from each newborn determines the future of your child. Wow! Too good to be true isn't it. That single drop of red blood they will find out the blood type whether the baby has Type A, B, AB, or O. Any other blood type? Whatever! If you have a different blood type from the biological parents then you'll know that the baby is not yours or what could be the problem? SWITCH? Could be a witch? Who could be the culprit? The doctors and nurses? strangers? abductors? aliens?

Everyone's mental and physical future of the child depends on that single drop of blood. Are the machines that determine the spin perfect? Humans are not perfect so you think the spinner is perfect?

I recently watched the episode of "Young Sheldon" episode Research Study on twins. Sheldon and his twin sister were subjected by Dr. Sturgis on university research study about twins. They were put on live camera to take a test and answer questions candidly on visual cues. This is sort of psychological test assessment. This kind of test is also administered in University students (did you know?) The parents of Sheldon Cooper and his grandmother had their permission to do that research study for the twins and they received payment. Sheldon started being annoyed by so many questions about the picture of  chimps posing as "humans." He thought the researchers are monkeying about his intelligence while Missy saw a different perspective and her own manipulation of the situation has proven effective. At the end of this episode, Mrs. Cooper was able to show her motherly love and affection for her own daughter instead of being focused solely on one young Sheldon Cooper, the genius. I think geniuses can stand alone or join the club of genius.  The non-genius must have to start finding their own alliances.

The give and take process in the web of life sometimes is seen unfairly and unjust. Biased? Humans tend to help one another in times of adversity, in times of need. "You help me, I help you" process of the defining moment of truth is quite the norm. You help somebody because that person also helps you. Should be the case. But for some other people with all the wealth in the world helping is just part of being a Christian and maybe there is too much to give. Take this for example between Ellen Degeneres and Bill Gates. Ellen gave Bill a $20,000 worth shutterfly gift certificate to the loud cry and amazement of the studio audience. Why would Ellen give a gift to somebody who is the richest, wealthiest man in the world? How about why Bill Gates allow millions of people used his website for free, using email address for free and use his MSN or Microsoft Messenger for free? Some people don't see the FREEbies. Okay, probably because everyone pays the internet per month and that's part of the deal in the net using Microsoft software. Bill Gates had given so much loopholes since the very beginning of Microsoft. He is a human being and he also deserves something free. Just like the lucky people who received the free washer and dryer for this house we are currently staying. There you go...gotta wash the clothes and towels by hand again.

Don't you think I should be a University professor instead of being a laundry woman? You know I tried to be a substitute teacher when I was in Elementary school. Teacher for a week in High School and reporter/teacher in College for my feasibility study on cassava flour. Ha ha ha ha! Then next is my Sericulture project , pssssttttt... don't be noisy. The North Koreans got the silk already. Are we getting too slow or are we that fast?
