Husband and I recently celebrated our 27th Wedding Anniversary. It was a quiet celebration and spectacle of food we didn't invite anybody. Nobody even remember about the date. It was actually the same date when my parents-in-law ( Mom Jean Belle & Robert James) tied the knot. I bet if my in-laws are still alive today they are the first people to greet us. But I know they are both in heaven now. I'm still having nostalgia about them specifically because they are look-alikes of Rosalind Franklin and Dr. Watson. J/K. They probably are laughing in heaven when I said that.
At age 55... I don't have amnesia and I don't have alzheimers so, I still can remember the date. I'm blessed that I am married to the husband for 27 years and we are faithful to each other despite of the many odds and ends. We have three kids actually they are young adults age 25 and the twins are age 24. I first thought wont have any children because it took me quite a long time to get pregnant.
Life goes on for most of us and time passes by so quickly. The weather keeps changing don't know if I have to believe the meteorologists on their weather forecast as if its related to the sports news on TV.
TV. TV. There are so many television news, shows and series: SEAL Team, The Good Doctor, FBI, Gifted, Young Sheldon, TBBT, Superstore, Survivor (Goliath Vs David), Hell's Kitchen, TWD, etc that keep us occupied aside from being busy from housework and outside work. Watching TV is a form of relaxation being seated after doing heavy work. I also work at home. We don't have housemaid because I am the domestic diva at home. I cooked everyday meals, do the housecleaning, laundry (manually since the washing machine malfunctioned) and it's not a laughing matter because you know housemaids, nanny and caregivers in Hongkong are paid from HK$ 2,800 to HK$3,000/month and if you are a housemaid in Canada you get to be paid C$ 1,500/month with medical and dental benefit.
Housework is not just a decent occupation it's heavy work, it's hardwork that's why some women or housewives would rather work outside of their comfort zone, work in the office and dress like professionals because cleaning houses, toilets and the mess inside the house can make you unfabulous, deglam, and can put you in bad situation. I mean the uneducated think housekeeping is low life. Well, uneducated, you should educate yourself because most housemaids are College Grads. Housekeeping is "a very decent job." You don't have to climb the social ladder.
