The framers of he Constitution are mostly farmers. Hacienderos! They owned tracts of land, thousands upon thousands of acres of land for farming: wheat, rice, potatoes, coconuts, abaca, sugarcanes, bananas, mangoes, and other fruits. Land is also used for cattle industry, poultry and piggery. To add herds of goats, deers, mooses and other wild animals? That's awesome, but I don't eat wild animals for food.
If you are knowledgeable of the Bible stories probably you are aware that GOD favors the ancient people who cultivate their lands, the farmers who offered farm gifts for God only second to God's favor those who are the shepherds who looked after farm animals. At one point in time when Jacob offered Isaac as a sacrificial lamb, however, before the sacrifice rite happened, Jacob saw an animal stuck on one of the rocks at the slope of he mountain and instead of Isaac, Jacob offered the animal instead of his son as his offering. God favors gifts of vegetables and farm animals as sacrificial offerings. As time progressed what do you think God would like as offerings? In our generation, most Catholics offer lighting of candles at the altar. You wont believe that billions of candles are lighted, melted and burned for offerings everyday. Fresh flowers are also favored now as offerings, candles & flowers.
The Old Testament favors the ancient way of acquiring lands, cultivating the lands for food, farming, housing and for greener pasture for animals. Religious rites and prayers accompanied their entire lives. The New Testament features the way of God in Jesus Christ name. From carpentry (building of houses and temples) to fisheries. Animals are no longer sufficient that they tend to move over closer to bodies of water: ocean, rivers, lakes and ponds to gather sea creatures for food. The population of humans dominated over population of animals that sea animals or seafood were value added source of consumption. Then what happened to water? Less water or absence of water was evidently a catastrophe.
Human evolution has taught us that as we evolve through times and changes our means to survive are seen on what we value first and foremost. We educate ourselves to learn more and be trained if necessary. Life skills and experience had helped us achieve what we can achieve and teach the next generation of survivalists. Humans are by nature, naturally survivalists.
