Coffee Or Tea

I woke up at 5 am this morning and first thing in the morning I've got to have my hot, fresh coffee. We have the best coffee ever but when I opened the fridge... no milk!? OMG! I need fresh milk for my coffee!!!!!!!

The last drop of milk was consumed by my darling daughter who up to now drinks one glass of milk before bedtime. One gallon of milk lasted only for 4 days. To think that I have plan of  doing some baking today.

I looked out of the window to see if the neighboring store is open but nope. It's closed and will be opened at 7 am. omg! wth.

What to do now? Just drink hot tea instead? No need for milk, no need sugar. Just plaint hot simmering tea. Oh no! Tea is not my cup of coffee for Thursday morning. Husband said he will buy gallon of milk at Seven-Eleven instead. K that's good idea.

I could wait, no problem. Just like my husband who was waiting at the workplace when suddenly the hydro (electric) had power outage. How can you use power tools? Carpenter's and cleaning tools nowadays are powered by electricity and without electricity then you can't do the work. Most of all how you can see properly what you are doing when the lights are off? Generator? Wow! Would you like to use generator to power your tools? Expensive to use gas in generators and it would create loud noises and neighbors would probably file complaints. Generators are used in Canada when power outages happened due to snowstorm and other calamities. No calamity at the workplace. I think the tenant moved out and hydro was cut off. It should be back to normalcy within just a phone call away.

I remember when blackout happened most of the time in urban community in the 70's; we lived closer to the hospital. When the power outage happened suddenly and automatically the generator was on, the power surge and the very loud noise can be very alarming. Very loud, very noisy. Very, very annoying but hospitals should always be in control that they have electric power or else their gadgets to save lives will be in jeopardy.
