Why ugly clothes are sold in stores and beautiful clothes are sold only online? There must be a reason. Tell me why before I have my conclusions here.
Clothes and clothing accessories are sold in stores and online for certain reasons that could mean supply and demand.
If its sold online when it comes to clothing then there could be 3rd party involve or many parties involve and some of these "itemized products" are mostly imported from other countries or not made locally within that country. That most beautiful clothes sold online have different quality of assurance.
Okay, so let say it depends on supply and demand. You have stores selling retail clothing of poor quality for easy distribution or such that only few buyers buy them or depends of the population of people buying ugly clothes. ? What the hell. Could be that the fashion retail manager in such department store has poor quality taste or has poor fashion sense that's why they sell ugly clothes at their store. Then you think that maybe they want to sell cheap quality clothing in stores but that's not the case though, because the gorgeous, beautiful clothes being sold online are inexpensive and much cheaper than those clothes being sold in stores.
Do you like touching the texture of any clothing merchandise first before you buy it?
I, for myself would like to see the clothes of its style, design, colors and the seam, the over all appearance of such fabric used in the making of such clothes. As a consumer you have the right to touch the texture of the fabric of such clothing. If not satisfied, some buyers would like them fitted on mannequins or you want to try to fit in to your body first to know if it really fit. Buying online clothing or clothes would mean you really cannot appreciate what you are buying because you are deprived of seeing the clothes entirely of its characteristics: size or measurement, style, design, seams, stitches, colors, texture whether it's smooth, rough or unflattering. There are many things to reconsider. Then you are given some ad on what those clothing looks like as it was described in description for each item being sold. However, that's not enough. Photographs can be very deceptive. Colors could be enhanced and photoshopped. A blurry colored dress could be faded in colors. Sometimes, it turned out that what you bought actually wasn't new but had been returned by another unsatisfied customer and those clothes could been in their stocks for such a long time and were just dry cleaned, not brand new. There are many things to reconsider in buying online products.
Duh, really it's best to buy fabric and sew them. Make your own dress. Textiles in Canada are expensive, so it's either you deal with expensive fabric and notions and you have to deal with your own brand of sewing. For the rest of those who love to travel can purchase them in third world countries were clothes are beautiful and the price wont break the bank.
