Sign Of The Times

It's always busy in BC. I don't know why. It must be something to do with the name. No one wants to be called "idle."

My husband and I are waiting for the release of the latest novel of famous author Wilbur Smith to add to our collection of his books. However, at this point in time, the book is available only at AMAZON.
I don't like ordering from Amazon.com. I would like to buy the book at the local supermarket (book section) where we usually purchase WB's book/novels.

What's new with the latest novel "CALL OF THE RAVEN?" Could it be that it is the continuation of the long saga of the Courtneys and the Ballantynes? I don't like the guessing game that's why I want to read it now. Uhm, maybe I could wait and read something else.

READING is also a work in progress. lol. You know when you think there are lots of work out there.
Tell me what works out there that needs adding up for the workforce after the long pandemic scare? Those who were unemployed due to the covid-19 will soon return to work and some of them already are working. There are workers who cannot come back because they were the hard-hit  victims of the covid and coronavirus. Whatever ails you hope that's only temporary and everything will be okay.

Thursday today, June 25, 2020. While our big screen TV has problem with its sound as in soundless when we are not deaf. I mean what's wrong with our TV without sound? It was not on "mute" button. Nobody press it on mute. We have two remote controls to check on everything but simply, suddenly the TV has no sound for whatever reason. No matter how it's been checked and turned on and off , plug and unplugged. Diagnostic test done but maybe there is that outside force that tries to block the sound. How could that be? Well, you know in this computer age when almost anything digital can be hacked. Maybe the "satellite" from up there is confused. Mystery, mystery loves misery?

Maybe it's the "read my lips" code again eh? The READ MY LIPS during the BUSH ERA. Dubya. DUB is the word. We have to watch those news on TV and then read their lips, focus on how those newscaster open their mouths. Are they reading the texts on  teleprompters or have their own idea, opinion and their news are their own or somebody else?

Sudden change of weather condition. Why the contradiction of  what has been transpired of the weekly weather condition when it's already been announced at the weather channel? Some like it hot and some like it cold? Fight and too many battles at the ISS? Whose got the power and who lost its power in the battle?  I love the cooler breeze. I don't know what kind of tide everybody's playing. If this is the sign of times then so be it.
