Unusual Weather

When we moved here at C St. our bougainvillea floral plant  had the shock that it doesn't need, its leaves withered and almost dying but has returned to life after few weeks because of the controlled indoor temperature. It has sprung from dying state to a lively, vibrant envigorating lifelike manner which is some sort of magical.

The plant's loving every minute of its new place beside the french door where the ambience of  sunlight passes through in the morning. The sunrise is what it needs every morning.

The weather temperature from springtime varies, it keep changing actually, not steady.

Then first week of May it gets so warm...

Husband and I decided we have to move the plant outside so that it can get the natural sunlight and natural air and wind.

However, suddenly the temperature changes again. Unpredictability. Yeah, normal weather temp. in Canada is "ever-changing." It has a mind of its own.

The bougainvillea plant got "burned." What the hell? Supposedly, this tropical plant thrives in most tropical countries. The weather temperature was only over 21 - 25 degrees Celsius. Bougainvillea can thrive and live and propagate at higher temperature for God sake. It can thrive even in the desert, in the Caribbean, Mediterranean and in Israel.

All the leaves of the bougainvillea started falling.

We did not move the planter of this plant, the ceramic pot is too heavy to lift and carry back inside the house...so let it be. What will be,will be. Que sera, sera.

Days had passed...

Last night, while watching family tv show THE GOLDBERGS,  heard  this thunderous sound of pellets (sound of bullets) falling on the rooftop and walls of the house. What is that? OMG! Shocking!! Hailstones!!!!!!

Hailstones falling on the ground. I came running downstairs to find why suddenly hailstones falling like crazy.

It's almost summer! (nah, Summer Solstice on June 20, 2021).

It's okay nothing to worry about. The size of pellets for hailstones nothing to get scared of.  Hailstones the size of golf balls that you have to be anxious and be afraid of because golf ball sized hailstones can ruin your cars, wreck window glasses and damage your roofs.

The question is will the bougainvillea die?

I hope not.
