Photographs & Memories

My sister Ems and my brother- in-law came to visit us last Tuesday, last week. Thanks for the special visit and for those gifts, cake and special palabok. It was sort of a surprise for birthday celebration. Nothing fancy, not grand because it was just so simple. Actually don't want to celebrate a 60th birthday.

Sixty years old! OMG! I'm that old? I don't really look that old. However, the numbers made me feel upset though, ha ha ha! 60!

That maybe when I go to these agency or department wherein they asked how old I am, those curious people looked at me with disgust having doubts whether I'm telling the truth or lying about my age. I know how you'd feel and thinking because it happened most of the time wherein people my age are already full of wrinkles on their face, hands and legs. Their hair are all white and gray and act like as if the whole world had fallen on their shoulder.

I remember way back then when I was in University and I'm always questioned by guards why I never wear the uniform. I asked why? The guards thought I was a High School student in that University. Yes, there is a High School Department in FEU. I'm glad that when I was with my bestfriend, at least the two of us  being questioned or made fun of us because of  us being petite and younger looking despite of our age.

Sometimes, looking younger than your age-generation level also portrays hazards when looking for employment. You are required to provide so many certification and IDs to identify you from the person that you are.

I was 26 years old here. I love being photographed with the fountain in the background and toss coins of silver and make a wish.

Like who would have thought that in these photos, I was only 42 years old.

Me in Year 2012 and I'm 49 years old turning 50.

Do I have to show my photo for year 2023?
