EXOTIC MIXTURE

PHILIPPINES THE ARCHIPELAGO. The huge island with no name. A very huge island with land bridges connecting with different countries.

The first original inhabitants traveled through the land bridges were the so called Pygmies and Aetas. They were short, dark skinned humans. They were nomads and hunters.

The second group of humans also traveled through the land bridges were the Javaneses or the Indonesians. They were fairly short but less dark skinned humans. They are mostly hunters, fishermen and farmers.

The third group of humans who arrived at the island were the Malays. They are taller than the Javanese. They traveled at the island through their balangays (canoes). They are fair skinned and they have better sense of the New World. They are well civilized from the very first two groups. They have better form of government and economics.

There are foreigners who came and trade with the first 3 groups of inhabitants. They were the Chinese, East Indians (Hindus) and other natives within the South Pacific.

Inter-racial marriages happened among all those group of humans (Indonesians, Malays, Chinese, East Indians) had mixed inter-action within every tribes that contribute to the rich culture of the Filipinos from its original heritage, diversity, religious beliefs, socio-economic, from their clothing, food choices, folklores, folk dances, music and other ethnicities, the mixture of languages combined. Education is formed. Sanskrit the first alphabet was actually of East Indian origin. The numerals or Mathematics was Arabic form.

Then the Spaniards came!! YEAR 1521:  the huge island was discovered by the navigator Ferdinand Magellan summon under the King of Spain. The island was under King of Spain Phillip named after the King of Spain. La Islas Filipinas or PHILIPPINES. All the inhabitants of the island were then converted to Christianity and given Spanish names. Those who opposed were then killed but Datu Lapu-Lapu who remained patriotic as Muslim had triumphantly killed Magellan during their battle in Mactan. Most of the Muslims stayed and live in Mindanao.

The Spaniards expanded their conquest from Luzon to Visayan regions. Blood compact happened between Legazpi and another Spanish conquistador. The Spaniards had been in the Philippines for so many centuries that they were able to build Cathedrals, Churches, schools and Universities and even up to now in 21st Century (22nd) those infrastructures are still visible in our present generation. FIVE HUNDRED YEARS of paying taxes to Spain had Filipinos not really Filipinos but Spanish or Spaniards!!  They are supposedly Spaniards! Religiously they are baptized with Spanish names,  educated in Spanish schools and universities, speaking the Spanish language, obeyed the laws and followed the doctrines of the friars and country under the colony of Spain therefore they are Spaniards in the truest sense. Some of the Spaniards were married to the original Filipinos. Inter-racial marriages seemed didn't work out? Not for so many millions of them.Wonder why. Its because Filipino Chinese would rather have their kids marry Chinese. Filipino-Spanish just the same would rather be racially married another Spanish. Then the Americans came and that's why so many mestiza and mestizos during the era of WWII and the Japanese thought some of them were Americans and unfortunately some of them executed. The survivors were then had chosen the film industry after WWII.

LANGUAGE BARRIER? RELIGIOUS advocacy too much? VERY STRICT RULES as in OBEDIENCE TO AUTHORITY.  Confession of sins. Difficulty in following the Ten Commandments? Moses had problem too with the 10 Commandments.

Then the revolt against Spain led by the GOMBURZA. They were the 3 friars Gomez, Burgoz and Zamora. The 3 friars died, executed by garrote. Then the creation of two famous novels of Dr. Jose P. Rizal that led to the imprisonment and execution of Dr. Rizal.

Then the arrival of the AMERICANS!

YEAR 1900 The UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE from SPANISH TO ENGLISH IMPLEMENTED.

To be continued.
