How a well developed country Canada can help other countries, sending millions of its dollars to countries such as Ukraine, Israel and other war torn countries when the people here in Canada are struggling?
Maybe because you voted and elected officials who are so damned rich and wealthy and they don't know what is being poor and what poverty looks like.
The paycheck to paycheck kind of living. Waiting for the monthly wage to pay for mortgage or rental homes, monthly supply of food for the family, hydro bills, insurance for the vehicle, gas for the vehicle, there's not even allowance for clothing, shoes, and other miscellaneous because sometimes it goes for the purchase of medicines for heart ailment. Heart medications not covered by Medicare only for Diabetes and other illnesses. The worse thing is when you are retired and the pension is too small to even pay for the rent. Can you just imagine seniors worked for more than 60 years of their lives here in Canada and their pension is smaller than what those new immigrants who came here who never or didn't work in Canada? Some refugees received more per month! So unbelievable!!
It's not what is affordable or unaffordable but why everyday the price changes like clouds being blown away every minute by the winds.
What really happened during the pandemic got to do with the burgeoning humongous assault of human intelligence in Canada. Then the continuous wars. Are they insane to wage war and continue the wars? Nobody likes war. Crazy!
IT IS ABNORMAL. It is way over the line. It is immoral to the point that the price of commodities to bigger price tagged homes are absolutely over priced to the point that who they are fooling who?
Are you that stupid to buy a house worth 1 Million dollars valued at only $500,000? To include the taxes you have to pay in buying a house? Every commodity in Canada has corresponding tax. PST & GST. The Government has enough budget for everything that's why they allow themselves to help other countries. But not enough to help every province in Canada! Hmm, wait a minute... read that again.
Did I miss something? No budget for other provinces as they have to work on their own to accumulate revenues. Yup. Because you guys are not at WAR. You have beautiful homes and cars, you can travel in luxury. You the wealthy whoever you are please STOP the great pretension. It's time to be accounted for and voice out your true inner feelings. Stop maximizing your hundreds of credit cards! FGS!!
The price of commodities has doubled and then when wage increase implemented, the products went up high and other vendors had tripled the price to gain so much profit. Maybe time to boycott those supermarkets and department stores. Let their products get rotten.
I remember way back during the Marcos Regime during the Martial Law. Vendors, business people couldn't raise the price of commodities or else they will be put to jail. Nobody deserves to be victimized by those gluttons whose greed equal to no one. You cannot bring your wealth to your grave.
