O-M-G!! The news networks covered much of the hurricane Milton landfall in the state of Florida.
Florida is always in the news year after year due to its devastating hurricanes. Can you just imagine how many times those people renovated their homes every year? How expensive, how costly those renos are? It's not just that. How about those furniture? How many times they have to throw their living room sets, dining sets, beds and mattresses because they were soaked and destroyed by flood waters?
It is mind boggling to think of how calamities could lead others to being homeless and broke. Brokenhearted and hopeless about the future. This is too much. Unspeakable. You never wished something like this to happen here in Canada. Location, location. Where's the best place on Earth?
In the news, the hurricanes had surged, destroyed so many of those houses, buildings and the roof top of the Tampa Bay Rays stadium, etc. Then in the horizon? A dark tornado about to unleash its fury. What the hell...
Couples were interviewed about how safe they are in their "haven." Yeah they are safe according to them but they forgot their family photo albums. Oh well, at least they are safe! I think next time they have to collect their photos, upload and stored them in their computer. Keep their memory cards in safe place. Or at least post them in social media and locked them in there so that they can retrieve them. Your cellphones has a storage too depends on how much GB you have but it is better to keep them in your computer picture file.
Last night, while watching news on TV, happened to watch the CNN newscaster/anchor Anderson Cooper news-casting while the wind blows like at the speed of 150m/hr. He was soaked and wet and was blown away by styrofoam board. What the hell is he doing? Thank God, there's no flying galvanized iron or sharp wood or metals. The news had ordered an evacuation of those Florida people and he was standing there battling the winds and the rage of Hurricane Milton to bring news for the public to know what's happening in Florida. Yeah, that was so brave of him. They could just install a camera outside to record the grave and chaotic situation.
That's the latest craze I think that to be believed you should do something unbelievable.
In the Philippines you wouldn't dare standing outside during typhoon signal #3 or #4. Galvanized irons and iron nails will be flying everywhere. Some humans had lost their heads when hit by flying galvanized iron loosened from rooftops of those houses. Or you don't stand right where the electric post. BEWARE.
