WE'RE NOT RICH. We don't act rich. We bathe everyday and wear clean, ironed clothes. We eat our meals 3x per day. We are law abiding humans. We live in a townhouse, probably 25 years old townhouse complex in the older part of this city. We live on the upper hill and downhill is the downtown area and sea view of the Discovery Passage.
Every Canadian has one or other families have two-3 vehicles. Vehicles as form of transportation to go to work or schools and or go shopping for groceries because to walk down to those places would mean 25-40 minutes walk. Vehicles are necessity not luxury in Canada.
Almost every Canadian is indebted and not without debts no matter how poor, rich or wealthy they are. Credits are good here in Canada. Who are without debts? The wealthier have debts in millions and billions of dollars. If this is happening in this country...do you think it's not happening in poor or third world countries? Think about it.
Canada has four seasons: winter, spring, summer and autumn.
Calamities and disaster can ruin your houses and livelihoods. Hurricanes, storms, floods, tornadoes and recently suspicious wildfires are the leading cause of how normal lives are turned dysfunctional. That no matter how rich and wealthy those families those calamities above could instantly turn those families homeless.
Not only calamities and disaster that add up to the malady of such groundbreaking unfair and unjust mother nature wrath but poor health care and when big corporations started shutting down its corporate businesses after another that's major blow for community, for the whole city and the next city thereof just like what happened to the closures of pulp mills, sawmills and mining industry including the fishing industry what's left of the community to stand for and how the whole community can withstand the test of time economically. Mind boggling, mind blowing to think of the hardship.
Despite of some difficulties and struggles... some humans are getting richer, becoming millionaires and billionaires. Wow! That's wow!! What kind of monkey business they have? lol
Deep impact is not just a story of a huge asteroid that had fallen on Earth. Deep impact is about economic crisis. It is about life on how to live and survive.
No what? History will always tend to repeat what had happened. What are the measures of the great impact of the loss of major industry in your community?
Who will help build and rebuild?
