I WAS THINKING THIS FOR SOMETIME... If I am American citizen ( But I Am Not).
AMERICAN CITIZENS should think about this. Where you think the budget coming from the high maintenance and governance of one's country?
In previous years, actually TAXES imposed on its citizens and businesses and from the export/import process where budget and funds are used in the many Departments and Agencies of the Government.
However if the expenditures are higher than what is coming for the budget then that's the problem and troublesome. There are many uncontrollable extreme calamities and disasters that USA had previously such as wildfires, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods. With the burgeoning problems & with less funds there is no surplus. Think of the population of USA. Hundred millions!! Plus those undocumented immigrants in 11 Millions? OMG!
If FUNDS are cut off for certain expenditures you know that the Government is trying to make sure that the most important BUDGET must be allowed to be used appropriately, efficiently to the most important aspects of the Ministry. Anything that is wasteful, outrageous not normal funding being cut off. Think about it.
USA had been giving out so much funding for WARS that should never happened. Better to condemn wars than promote it longer so that casualty of war is deadlier? That's wrong!PREVENT & CONTROL should be the best option. BRAINWORKS and high intelligence should have been the recourse or reconnaisance to combat such acts of war. An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.
Now on TARIFFS. Is that the only option? Every countries in the world have ECONOMISTS or Economic Adviser and Secretary of Finance. Maybe the Pres. is following the directive or suggestion of his Economic Adviser. Takes two to tango. Two Heads are better than one. Maybe following order from Elon.
A Government cannot just rely on payments of taxes by its population by its citizens. Waiting for the population of people to pay income tax or taxes on goods and services take longer and the duties and obligation cannot wait. A Government should also own businesses that bring in income. Yes, GOVERNMENT of any country also are allowed to have its own businesses and investments. The man said they have bigger piggy banks. Then why punished Canada, Mexico and China for tariffs? He violated trade agreements!!
Look, "fentanyl" is not such a huge cost for that tariff act. Fentanyl is actually legal Rx from doctors/surgeons for surgery and operations in hospitals. Patients can choose not to have it. All Rx have labels. READ WARNING LABELS FOR MEDICINES. You don't consume meds like as if they are candies.
Now with the looming Tariff Threats of 25% which is exorbitant and the case of US TARIFF VS TARIFF CANADA? That will be tackle tomorrow...

I live here in Canada and that 25% Tariff is really a huge threat to Canada's economy. Every Canadian will suffer with burgeoning high cost of living which is already been the problem for more than 8 years. This is unfair! Well, it would be unfair for Americans too! Americans will have to pay more for consumer goods once 25% tariff took effect.
I hope Pres. Trump should think twice or just at least lower that tariff to favorable for trade and commerce. If he wants Government funds, why not those undocumented who were there in the US pay their dues. Sort them out! Good "apples"should stay and bad apples deport them where they should be. They were probably been staying in the US for more than 5 years and not paying taxes and not paying what they should have to pay. 11 MILLION humans!!! Multiply it with what they have to pay for their documentations. Deporting them to their own countries would mean expenditures on behalf of the Military?
Don't accuse of Canada being the cause of billions of dollars in deficit? OMG! How many billions of dollars USA had given to countries in war? That's what it is. Never ever use the word "donate or give" BILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR WAR EFFORT. You wont receive payment. He should better look sharply or double check their accounts or budget or he should listen to somebody who knows accounting. Look at how much $$$$$$$$$$$$ America contributed to Ukraine and other countries at war, they are in BILLIONS OF DOLLARS! You don't give $$$$$$ to Canada. US do not give handouts to Canada!! Well we don't know. Maybe handouts to other countries are supposedly investments. ? and Americans don't know about that. ?
Canada is not an enemy of the United States of America. Why he is becoming Hitler?
I hope everything would be settled today once and for all.
