I had just watched too many movies yesterday and would you believe so many horror movies as if its already Halloween. What on earth!! Anyway, found time to watch that old movie of Michael Douglas & Kathleen Turner... "Romancing the Stone." I think Marina once asked me if that movie is suitable for kids. Ha? I watched this movie in the 90's and forgot about the whole story. Is it good for kids?
Story: Kathleen Turner is a romance novelist Joan Wilder who tried to save her sister from gangsters of Colombia by taking the map that they wanted from her. Joan met so many obstacles and met an adventurer Jack Colton who saved her life twice in the Colombian jungle, from gangsters, from venomous snake, and from the bad guys who kept following them to retrieve the map which secretly hide the location for the treasure. Uhm, it is for kids when it comes for adventure. There is one scene that they should just cover their eyes. I suggested they should just watch "The Mummy." LOL. And the "The Mummy Returns" starring Brendan Fraser & Rachel Weiss.
Then she suggested that I should just watch "The Children of the Corn." She said, it is scary. Uhm really?
Anybody who wants to watch and or re-watch 'The Pirates of the Caribbean?" Starring Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. Most of Johnny Depp's movies are made for kids.
Look at that pirate ship above... much better ship than other battle ship. Ha ha ha! I mean the sails are prominent and will eventually sail fast at a speed of thousand knots through the high seas.
Oh well... so many free movies on TV during the month of October.
Consider them like gold fishes in the aquarium.
I hope today is another wonderful day full of sunshine with cooler breeze.
It is only 9 degrees Celsius maybe it would only be 12-4 C the whole day.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYBODY!🙏
