I told myself that when I got nothing to give for Christmas I might just look and sort out from my shelves, from my cabinet. OMG! I don't think so! LOL. I wont give my nutcrackers, my collection of angels and elephants. Darn it! Look I am not a grinch nor a scrooge. I was thinking about the honest truth about Christmas and the true meaning of Christmas.
Christmas is the celebration of the birth of the Lord our GOD... JESUS CHRIST. HE IS THREE IN ONE: The FATHER, THE SON & THE HOLY SPIRIT. Christmas is about JESUS THE BABY's BIRTHDAY!
Supposedly if its somebody's birthday we tend to give the birthday celebrant the gifts they truly deserved. However at Christmas in the modern era of civilization, Christmas becomes a commercialization and that offers stress and pressure for everybody. That gift giving becomes the norm. Old people and younger people received gifts and thereby they give gifts in return in other words an exchange gifts happened. This silly but exciting tradition continues during at Christmas holidays. Is it fun? It is totally fun if you have enough to afford but it is problematic for those who cannot.
Sometimes, gifts need not be too expensive. As what they said, the smaller the box, the value of the gift is greater. Is that true? The bigger the box, the value of the gift is lesser. Darn! If that's 100"X 100" Plasma TV that's worth everything of value. Ha ha! I'm dreaming.
