Because I am not in the Rat Race, life is slower and much better. Maybe if I am younger, competition would be real fast and that's how it is during my childhood years. Elementary, High School, College over! Those competitions of earning top grades, to achieve the goals. The crying games of those involved when their scholarship was about to be cut off because of low grades. Don't know really what happened to them. Is it bad luck of some kind? While those who never even exert much effort can pass the test. Maybe stress and pressures can affect over all performances and not sleeping good could be the culprit. Just take it easy and you have to calm down.
I know. I remember somebody we know, she was that smart in College taking Nursing degree. She was studious, a role model, good girl. She exerted too much effort in studying no time to even have time for herself and be with her friends. What happened to her? She woke up not knowing about herself as if she had amnesia. Then she changed dramatically neglecting her personal well being, her hygiene, etc. It turned out she lost it. It's almost like she was possessed or something. Insanity that was the result of no sleeping, wide awake for hours and hours studying and not eating. The parents still looked after her. She was not institutionalized because she was not harmless, just that she wont function in normal life, always staring at something. I don't know what those human beings can see from the horizon as if their eyes and vision are just focused on something that we cannot see.
Well folks, aren't we all glad we have TV to stare at while the rest of the lunatics stared at their cellphones for hours and hours without blinking?
Look at those people at the beach, at the restaurants, anywhere, everywhere holding on to their cellphones, while walking on the streets on busy streets even when they are sleeping, cellphones are like "teddy bears" to them not wanting to lose or miss something. It is not normal. They attend parties, and still holding on to their cellphones and don't care what's happening around them. It is so strange. Cellphone is becoming a security blanket that's why. Being civilized but not sociable.
It's okay. It's Year 2025! Better than staring at nothing. Who knows what's in the air anyway? Can you see the molecules? Can you see atomic particles? Nah, you are holding it duh!
No wonder too many had cancer. The cause and effect of modern technology.
Now please always wash your hands with soap and water and stop spreading germs!
