Husband and I watched the movie IN THE GREY movie recommended by our neighbor... well after dinner wherein I was the diva Cook. after all the house works been done. I am not lazy just to sit on the couch all the time and whenever I am seated I am always doing something with my hands such artworks, internet browsing, Facebooking, reading, brainstorming. My MIND is always BUSY. So what the movie about? It was an action movie starring Jake Gylenhal, Henry Clavil (Superman), Rosamund Pike & Rachel Wild. At first didn't understand the story because I was already sleepy at 8 pm. Three elite operatives in a mission to steal back the billion dollars fortune from a ruthless tyrant and thus lead to daring adventure and death defying stunts. Is that a true story? LOL. It seems like.
Then in another channel, EYES WIDE SHUT with Tom Cruise & Nicole Kidman. The movie was halfway, wherein Tom had a visit at the morgue to find out the dead female victim who was actually at the mysterious secret masked charade that the couple had attended which turned out to be a high profile case. Darn! I have to watch it again. If you are a Wilbur Smith novel fanatic of somekind, Wilbur Smith penned a novel with the same story but it happened even before WWII, the European princess who revealed to young Courtney about the "masquerade of prominent wealthy & influential members get into that circle of charade" in that novel, the princess who was in a safari with Courtney ( the safari guide) to do something unspeakable in which Courtney decided to call his uncle & uncle alerted that jungle as epidemic area and they must leave out there right immediately saving his nephew from making a grave mistake. That's what I like Wilbur Smith with his detailed story telling technique almost a true story not fiction.
What if Eyes Wide Shut is more like EPSTEIN FILES?
Next that movie MIDNIGHT SPECIAL. The movie deals with Extraterrestrials. The boy Alton has a special ability that the FBI wanted to investigate and do research but the father Troy protects his child like any parent would do. The ending is stupid because the father and those who helped the father and child been jailed...for what? For protecting the child from abductions by government agents? I think they should have provided a better approach of taking the child and the parents for questioning on whether ALIENS are coming for invasion thereby mankind at least can prepare. It's just a matter of simple psychology.
