NOSTALGIA again? Sure why not? It's not a strategy but who cares right? So I stayed at DRTS doing my job despite of pressure. Once a month or at least twice a month I have to visit the Pharma for my stocks and to pass my report/survey/statistics and because I was already there have to mingle with those clerks who are my "friends" two of them were Ludy and Resurrecion who is using a computer to record all the products in that one lone computer (Her vision had suffered from all the works). This happened before the 90's I think way back 1987? . Medical Reps. stayed at the branch to mingle too while waiting for the order of stocks to be released (stocks in boxes). So met those male representatives and saw one who was not a Filipino looking guy, he looked like a hockey player from Canucks. Ops kamukha lang. May commercial sya on TV I don't know his name and I didn't ask. many of those med reps in the company I worked for are from wealthy prominent families and one of my bosses who signed my ID card was a brother of the actor Joseph Estrada. Yup, I worked in company where almost everyone is richy rich and I'm from a family with military background. WE're not rich and we're not poor. We eat 3x per day with merienda. We can buy what we want not for luxury.
So I had two more of newbie medical reps for orientation and training in my "territory" accompanied them to their doctors for detailing purposes, etc. One newbie looked more like "Turkish-Filipino" kinkilig ang mga co-workers ko kasi guapo si RM. Naka sunglasses pa sya. I'm always been helpful, so why not. Grabe! Hundreds ang list of doctors nya to cover. One last doctor to cover and he was inside the room for more than 30 minutes. I almost panic. I first thought he was having trouble. Hindi pa uso ang cellphone don't know how to message him from inside the room.I was about to knock the door to know what's going on when the door opens and he was sweating. I didn't ask he just said, "oh I first thought you left me already." Darn it. I got nervous for that guy. Then I decided to cover my assigned doctor who worked in the bank. At first she was polite to accept me in her room and I was to start my detailing when suddenly she started putting on make up looking at her mirror and doing some nonsense stuff. Got me offended for her rude act, so unprofessional. I left the products and medical brochures and put an x on my list and promise not to go back there, she's the only annoying doctor, bastos at walang galang how did anybody passed and give her license to be a doctor? in my list of 50 doctors sya lang ang walang modo. ( and not pretty) because I was also a Clinician for DRTS and I must be there from 8 to 4pm as requested by the Specialists. RM and I went to Cindy's Recto just close to my alma mater FEU for snacks. Then we parted ways that's it. I should have interviewed him to get to know him but he's more a snob or maybe because he is such a newbie and younger or maybe nervous, tired and shy. I don't know who his backer. Me? I am not afraid of mingling with boys, I have 4 brothers where I learned the boys things and their attitude. I wear my brother's T-shirts mostly NIKE and pants too, my favorite was his brown corduroy pants! Ha ha ha! One time it went missing, turned out my sister was wearing it. Yeah, medyo siga ako noon para akong tomboy!! Ha ha ha!
Next, my supervisor and Robert T. came to visit me at DRTS. They also met the specialists and then they asked me to go with them, Robert's already driving, good for him. When we drove out of the Department of Health compound, we're stuck on rush hour traffic and we had chosen another route. I was not familiar on that route where he drove to a street I haven't seen nor heard of. The supervisor and Robert don't know that street either and got lost on the way and I noticed the people and the place is more like "India or maybe Little India." The people looked more like East Indians than Filipinos.
OMG! Am I dreaming? My supervisor asked me, "Verna, where are we?" I replied, I don't know. I was shocked as they were. Robert has to hurry up driving us to our destination. I asked to be dropped to that mall with National Bookstore EDSA branch because I want to visit my friend Luz who works there. They are kind of upset because Robert was to have a "recital" he is a gifted violinist ( he also played violin at Manila Peninsula Hotel) and was asked to perform in the main office at the UL. Robert is a look alike of David Duchovny when he was younger. I told you nga pang VIVA Films and mga co-workers ko sa Pharma. My female supervisor who was a look-alike of Joan Allen the actress? Sino ang kamukha nya? Yung female CIA officer (Pam Landy) sa movie ni Matt Damon na "Bourne Supremacy.|
Oh well that's it for now with MY PAST ADVENTURE. Nostalgia moments. My NOSTALGIA ARE TRUE REAL LIFE STORY.
Any comment? The problem with having comments here at BLOGGER would compromise the smooth sailing function of my blog. So sometimes comments box is not necessary. It slows down the process. SO THANKS ANYWAY.
