Sunday Rants

 Nothing's new right? ZERO to ONE. Ha ha! What a boring day especially on hot summer days like these 28 C as of this writing. There are few people out there walking, shopping, probably at the beach, having picnic or what could they be doing on Sunday. Maybe there are still several religious people attending the Sunday mass. They should. If not they should at least pray at the convenience of their homes. 

Who said you cannot pray everywhere?

GOD IS EVERYWHERE.

So far, no news of wildfires. However, I heard sounds of siren this morning. I don't know if that's for ambulance, fire or accident. I'm glad the sound of backhoe/excavator is not a nuisance anymore as the neighbor looked like clearing their backyard and wonder what they have to build or create, fence, garden, workshop or a small swimming pool maybe?

I'll start to cook our dinner meals at 4:30 pm. Entrees for our supper would be: pancit canton, sauteed sausages with bokchoy, panfried baby potatoes, steamed rice.

What to watch on TV. Nothing seems exciting to watch anymore on Sunday night, maybe I will have to rent a video/movie. I know lots of movies to watch. Actually so many of those horror/suspense thrillers. I don't even know who those actors and actresses. But sometimes, unknown actors and actress get their fame first from such horror movies. Who would have known Jaimie Lee Curtis if not for the movie "Halloween" with several sequels. Robert Pattinson for "Twilight" and its sequels.  Neve Campbell for "Scary Movie." Kristen Dunst for "Interview With the Vampire." etc.

So, that's my plan to order and rent a movie for tonight make myself happy by watching something scary. Ha ha. I don't know if scary is a joy to watch. I'm just kidding. I don't like romance movie, too many blah-blah-blah. Too much plasticity and fakery. If you want to watch romantic movies, there are too many free one hour movie for such genre and they are somewhat hopeless romantic or too corny for everyone's taste. I don't know your taste for any kind of movie. I think when you reached that certain age you tried to stay away from all the b.s. and avoid  all the ______!

Why? Have you seen, watched or listened to the news of today and yesterday? You have those men and women having protest in public about the rights to abortion. Hey, where is the love? Are you guys doing it only for pleasure and its okay to abort fetus because being pregnant is not part of the plan. Then maybe the justice system in the US ruled out to bring justice where justice should be. There is always exception to the rule especially when abortion is for reasons that it might cause the death of the pregnant women, or because pregnancy brought about from force, coercion, rape, incest and maybe because the would be baby died inside the womb of the pregnant woman as in everyone's case is different from another woman. Let them decide what is best for them. Abortion is also a risky decision and might cause death of  pregnant mother of course the death of the fetus. Nobody wins in that deadly process. ABORTION is the process whether is legal in another country still lingers in those abortionists that they are part of the death of the fetus or babies. Assessment and psychological testing of the pregnant woman and or women should be analyzed first and foremost before the process is done but in the US, as the law permits that ABORTION IS ILLEGAL and IMMORAL. It could be legal in PRISON.

So what to watch?  I have the option to choose: Death At The Nile, Unchartered or Spider-Man: No Way Home. 

We watched SPIDER-MAN: No Way Home. 

Not that bad. It was a two hour + 20 minutes movie. Star-studded movie, lots of action. It is science -fiction and its worth the $7,  two day viewing.

MORAL LESSON of the movie:  DO NOT TRUST EVERYBODY. Trust no one. Hmm, seems like you have to think over and over again whether you can trust somebody especially the "very wicked & evil" and especially those who are into power play. The power play of the past is totally different from the power play of this year.

Do you trust the latest WAR PLAYBOOK:Russian against Ukraine? To include the latest group of G7?

You probably have trusted the OLD GROUP OF G7: USA, CANADA, GERMANY, FRANCE, RUSSIA, UK, ITALY. They are the great ones during the BUSH ERA. 

This year, you have to be worried and be aware of the new set of G7.
